Satoru Shibata, the President of Nintendo of Europe, has just announced that the Pikachu 3DS XL, recently sold in Pokemon Centers in Japan, will be released in limited quantities in Europe sometime this year. The information was revealed in a Nintendo Direct press conference on the official Nintendo of Europe website earlier today.
This popular 3DS was only available in Japan via pre-order and sold out on the first day of its release, with fans lining up for hours for their chance to own one. It’s unknown how many will be available in Europe and the price is yet to be announced. Hopefully this special console will make its way to the US and Australia as well. Stay tuned to PE2K for further information!
