Takeshi Sudo, many might not recognize this man by his name but his creation is one of the biggest pop-culture items, Pokémon. On Friday, October 29 at the age of 61, Sudo died of sub-arachnoid hemorrhage. On Thursday the man collapsed at the Nara Station in Japan, a passerby saw that and rushed him to the Nara Hospital.

 

The immediate hospitalization helped him to survive the attack, however, Sudo failed to make recovery from the emergency operation. The news of his death has shocked many and mainly people associated with the animation world. In the Anime, Brock’s Japanese name is Takeshi.

 

Shudo created TV anime Fairy Princess Minky Momo and worked on various anime through the 80s and 90s. He became the chief writer for the original Pokémon television series and went on to write the first three Pocket Monsters feature films.
