Thanks to Pokemon USA, I got a hold of the DVD of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew early so I can preview it on the site! So here's a preview of what to expect from this DVD:

What's Inside

The DVD is actually a 2-disc collector's edition. One disc contains the movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. The special bonus disc contains The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon, which was a special shown on the Cartoon Network (though this one is different since they re-dubbed it with a new voice for Ash). Inside the DVD, you'll find free promo card of Mew, a manga sampler titled "All That Pikachu! (contains a sample ani-manga of Pikachu's Vacation and Pikachu's Rescue Adventure), and a small booklet showcasing some of the exclusive Pokemon merchandise available at PokemonCenter.com.

Here's the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew title menu on the DVD, with the usual selections: Play, Special Features, Scene Selection, and Captions. The special features includes: Behind the Scenes, Slide Show, and Pokemon Online. Behind the Scenes shows how the movie was made, from the planning stages to the actual drawing of the movie. Slide Show contains sketches of the various characters in the movie. And finally, the Pokemon Online features lists links to some official Pokemon websites (which you can click on directly if you're playing the DVD on your computer).

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew - Description

The world of Pokemon has many legends, but the people of Cameron Palace believe in one very special tale: the legend of the Aura Guardian. Long ago a hero and his Pokemon, Lucario, saved the world from destruction - but can it be true? Ash and his friends find out for themselves when Lucario is awakened and Pikachu disappears! With Lucario's help, Ash sets out on a journey to find Pikachu, a journey that leads him to a mystical tree and the Legendary Pokemon, Mew! The future of a world and the fate of Ash and Pikachu will depend on the power of friendship between humans and Pokemon!
