Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Special: Team Go-Getters Out
of the Gate (DVD) - Front View and Back View (Click to Enlarge)

Among the other things I got in my Mystery Dungeon package from
Nintendo was a DVD of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Special: Team Go-Getters Out
of the Gate. This was a special shown on the Cartoon Network based on Mystery
Dungeon video game.
According to a Nintendo newsletter: "Available only at select
Wal-Mart stores, free with your purchases of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue
Rescue Team for the Nintendo DS or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team
for the Game Boy Advance."
Official Description
A Boy wakes up to find he's been transformed into a Pokemon (Squirtle).
Squirtle joins Charmander and Chikorita in Team Go-Getters, and they dedicate
themselves to assisting Pokemon in need. Imagine a world where Pokemon live,
talk, and deal with the same things that humans do. That's the reality in this
episode, as a boy awakens to discover he's been transformed into Squirtle!
After befriending Chikorita and Charmander, Squirtle is asked to join up with
them as a member of Team Go-Getters: a Pokemon rescue team dedicated to coming
to the aid of Pokemon in need. Along the way they run into Team Meanies; a
less than-ethical Pokemon rescue team who try everything to keep Team
Go-Getters from fulfilling their noble mission.
----
This special episode is follows very closely to the actual Mystery
Dungeon game that it's based on. They refer to the items from the game, and
even mentions leveling up, just like the game. Of course, there's going to be
some things that are different since these are two very separate things, a
video game and a TV show. However, they are still very similar in many
aspects. If you enjoyed the game, you'll most likely like this special since
it brings the game to life in a real TV episode.
