Banner of the Week
Theme:Vintage

Ok, this weeks theme is vintages, suggested by Dragoness, she also left us this tutorial (http://sglider12.blogspot.com/2008/08/create-worn-vintage-pop-art-design.html)..

So try your best... I'd advice you to follow the tutorial and if you find another tutorial online then don't hesitate in letting me know so I can add it to the first post..

The Basics
This is basically a banner contest: create a banner using the theme posted above and post it here. You are given 7 days to submit the banner. You may edit your submission at any time before the deadline. You may only enter 1 banner per week.
Once the deadline is reached, the banners will be put in a poll, and the members of PE2K will vote for which one they like the best.
The banner can be any size within a reasonable limit, but you must follow the theme given, or the banner will not be entered into the contest (If we cannot see how the topic applies, you will be given the chance to explain yourself).
Please follow all of the forum rules, or you will be disqualified and/or warned.

PS. If you have a banner only with an stock images, then post a link to the original images, and do not use pre-made banners.

Yours sincerely XOXO ♥Angela♥
The Deadline for this contest is the 18th of August

When I think vintage, I think Black and white TV and old War posters from the 1960s.. >_>

This may be totally off, if it is, I'll make something different.

Alright, this is a temp. banner for until I can get reliable internet back home. I'll probably replace it in a few days with something better, but I wanted to make sure I entered in something, so...

Uhh... does this suit the vintage theme? I just want to know so that what happened last week's theme won't happen again...

When I passed an entry but it doesn't suit the theme... so does this banner suit the theme?

ohi,

Well, I didn't really follow the tut, I just liked the dog head idea.

@Ragnajacob: Eh, I'm not to sure about it, but I think its supposed to be kinda old, like some old pictures you've seen? They're usually brownish.

Still I'm wondering.. How come so many of you save your files JPG? I always thought .PNG was better.. ^^;
