This arena is familiar from Gary fighting a Golem with his Nidoking in the league championships. The size of the arena is 100x40 meters and it's filled with various sizes of boulders. These rocks are loose and can be used for attacks. They can also be used as a means of hiding.

Well now, they're some interesting attacks.

Right, start off with a Toxic. Lets have that sapping away at her health throughout this short battle. Secondly, throw up a Protect to avoid that Thunder Wave, unless you are already paralysed. In that case, go with Screech. Finally, finish off with a Focus Punch, no matter what. As you're a baby and not of the same-egg group, you'll have no interest whatsoever in a cow.

There is nothing more nerve-racking than hearing your name being roared at what feels like a thousand decibels, than having an entire crowd's gaze fixed on nothing but you, than staring into your opponent's eyes and knowing that one of you could have your dreams crushed by the outcome of this battle.

It might not be nice to think about, but it is exactly how both Elrond and Elbub feel right now. A single droplet of sweat rolls lazily down Elbub's face and drips onto the ground, causing the centimetre of dirt there to turn to nothing but mindless slush.

Their ever-faithful companions stand poised in the battle arena ready to defend their master's honour and dreams. The Magby and the Miltank glare at each other from across the rocks that are dotted around like a spillage of giant chocolate cereal, arranged in a casual disarray across the terrain. Only, this fight wasn't just for their trainers, it was for themselves too. For their honour, for their dreams. Their dreams of winning the Gym leader tournament and being known worldwide as a successful Pokemon. Oh yes, it was about them too.

Status: Determined not to let Miltank beat her.
Toxic ~ Protect/Screech ~ Focus Punch

Miltank starts before Magby can even think. Martha begins to run at her, dust flying out behind her with every footfall, leaping from boulder to boulder with surprising agility for such a large foe, her legs propelling her forwards at an alarming speed. Within a few seconds, Martha is above him in the air, plumetting downwards towards him with her body outstretched, ready to crush him. Before he can make a sound, he is smothered with her rotund belly, the pounds of flesh swamping him. Miltank lets out a satisfied sigh as she continues to push downwards to cause him even more pain. Magby's eyes close for a second as he summons up the acids and toxins within his stomach and begins to cough and hack them up. They thicken as they travel up his throat before turning into a thick sludge in his mouth. He smiles a sadistic smile, opens his mouth to reveal purple gloop, and licks miltank right across the stomach from beneath her. The toxins transfer from his tongue to her stomach and begin to seep deep into her skin. She winces as the stinging slowly subsides for now, but she is certain she'll feel it again later on.

Frustrated, she leaps up off of Magby and lands a good few yards away. Magby pushes himself back up off the ground and shakes himself off from the Body Slam attack. There didn't seem to be any lasting nerve damage, so he considers himself lucky in a sense. Miltank, however, is more annoyed than anything at his lack of paralysis and, on her master's orders, she begins to charge up electricity between her two ivory horns. The pulsing blue charge crackles and fizzes as the sparks flying off dance around in the air before dying out. Once fully charged up, she fires this electricity at Magby. The current darts through the air at a blinding speed, and Magby summons up inner energy in the nick of time to throw up a protective shield around his entire body. The translucent green barrier pulses with life energy, like the electric charge had been pulsing blue before. The Thunderwave keeps diving forward at the green shield but cannot force its way through, so Miltank releases the attack and it slowly dies out with a crackle and a fizz. When Magby sees that Miltank has ceased attacking, he cautiously lets his Protect wall down as well.

Magby takes the spare moment to pull back his fist, now that Miltank isn't doing anything. He focuses all of his energy into it, glowing blue with an aura of concentration. He looks Miltank over carefully, assessing where would be the best place to strike it. Aha, the stomach. It's large, an easy target, and very tender. Miltank rushes at him again now, causing him to frown with worry. What if she attacks him and he loses his concentration? His Focus Punch wouldn't work and he'd be a sitting duck. Luckily, all she does is bat her eyelids at him and push out her chest. Magby manages to supress a laugh as Miltank makes herself look like a fool, trying to seduce a Magby like that. With an outloud chuckle, Magby releases his pent-up energy within his fist in a magnificent punch attack aimed right at Miltank's stomach. She cries out as the fist connects with her stomach, sending her backwards at a great force. She slams into a rock behind her and forcibly comes to a halt that way, chunks of stone being sent flying from the impact. Her breathing is heavy for a moment, her vision swimming before she recomposes herself. That Magby is so in for it now.

Body Slam's roll was 69 (LOL), with 1-30 paralyzing Magby.
Toxic's roll was 35, with 1-85 hitting.
Yes, Attract failed because Magby is a baby Pokemon and not breedable, therefore in different egg groups.

Righto, lets start with something that'll be infinitely frustrating; Confuse Ray. That should make things interesting in the first round, but if she tries to use Focus Punch go for a simple Flamethrower. Next round, if she is confused, proceed to go with Flamethrower if she is confused. If not, use Counter if she tries a physical attack, or otherwise Confuse Ray this action. Finally, hopefully, by this point, she is confused. If this is the case, go with Cross Chop. If she is not confused for some reason, Confuse Ray only.

Miltank, since Thunder Wave was blocked last round, you should start off this time by using it again. Also, that Toxic is really annoying, and being confused will be also. Thankfully, your thick fat will make it a little easier to stand the heat from Flamethrower, so you should take the time to use Heal Bell and get rid of those annoying status problems. Use Heal Bell during your last action if confusion prevented you from using it already. If you've already been cured, then use Earthquake.

Confuse Ray/Flamethrower ~ Flamethrower/Counter/Confuse Ray ~ Cross Chop/Confuse Ray

Miltank is absoluted livid and channels her fury into energy, specific to how she feels. Furious, vicious, completely uncontrolable malice, it feels erratic like lightning. The electrical energy surges throughout her power, empowering her, and she embraces it with open arms. The ball on the end of its tail flashes and emits a peculiar blue light, seemingly also charged with this new power. The pulses grow stronger and stronger within her body until she can no longer contain them, or doesn't even want to contain them, and unleashes the charge in a great wave of electrical energy, emitted from the ball on her tail. The power surges through the air, rippling and waving, darting toward Magby. The small Pokemon tries its best to avoid the pulse, but it just isn't fast enough. The Thunderwave clips its leg as it attempts to jump away, causing it to cry out in agony. Every muscle in his tiny body begins to twitch, Magby flailing around like a Magikarp out of water. He is determined not to go down like this, however, and summons a decent amount of dark energy from deep within himself. He can feel it, a bizarre sensation, not necessarily one he enjoys, but it makes him feel strong. The energy flows up toward his eyes, and he stares deep into Miltank's, his letting off a purple-ish light. There is silence then, the only sound heard is of the two of them breathing. Their pantings increase, Miltank's becoming shallower and shallower as horrible thoughts and feeling swim around within her head, causing her to panic. She feels dizzy and confused, her movements becoming careless and involuntary, the dull thud of her hoofs hitting the ground filling the air.

Miltank continues to feel klutzy and dazed as struggles to maintain her posture and balance. Her vision begins to swim like before when she slammed into the rock, Magby appearing double before her. She seems to misplace her hoof, however, and stumbles backward, tripping and hitting her head on the hard stone arena with a loud THWAK. A yelp escapes her lips and echoes along with the sound of skull against stone. Magby drags himself up off of the ground, putting all of his effort into controlling his muscle twitches. Whilst the spasms cease he begins to heat the inside of his body up. The temperature rises and rises until his insides almost boil uncontrollably. The heat can be felt from the spectator stands, rolling off of him in waves so hot that they are visible to the human eye. Miltank lifts her head to see Magby form his mouth into an O-shape, whilst his left leg jerks involuntarily, and force out the heat in a fountain of flames. The red-hot embers flicker and lick at Miltank's skin, forcing her to scream in mercy. It is comparable to almost nothing, it feels like the surface of the sun to her, scorching away, melting, bubbling, her skin peeling back as if it's horrified at the sight of itself. Magby closes his mouth again, content with the amount of screaming Miltank had done.

Miltank winces with every slight movement she makes, a single tear rolling down her face as she stands. Her skin is covered in blisters and scorch marks from Magby's relentless assault. Trying her hardest to calm herself, she summons a serene, mystical energy from deep within herself. It flows down her long, slender tail to the end, where it gently glows with a dim white light. Waving her tail, and biting her lip so as to not cry out in pain from her burns, the end releases a tiny chiming sound, not dissimilar to that of a bell. The sound rings out and has an immediate soothing effect on Miltank. Her surface burns seem to withdraw themselves, even shrink, before becoming barely even noticable. Her previous toxins that float around within her blood and cause her pain seem to die off. Her vision seems to cease swimming, and her head clears itself. The same cannot be said for Magby, however, as his muscles lock up as soon as he goes to move. A jolt of electricity that remains from the Thunderwave is sent throughout his body, his legs spasming before a more refreshed-looking Miltank.

Status: Feeling pretty useless from the paralysis. Paralysed (25% chance next round), -2 Speed

Paralysis rolls for Magby were 75, 80, and 28, with 1-50 resulting in full paralysis.
Confusion rolls for Miltank were 14 and 49, with 1-50 resulting in self harm.
Burn roll for Flamethrower was 3, resulting in a Burn. It was, of course, healed straight after by Heal Bell. :3
I gave Heal Bell 8% energy usage as there wasn't a guideline for it, so I used the one for Direct Recovery moves, which is quite similar I guess.
Better late than never, I guess. Hope I haven't forgotten anything.

Use Swagger, then Return twice. However, if at any time he tries to inflict a status on you, use Protect - but don't Protect two actions in a row no matter what.

Righto; go for Confuse Ray to start off to force out a Protect that will eat up her energy. Next action, if you managed to force a Protect from her in the first action, go for a Counter against the Return. If, however, the paralysis got you and she successfully used Double Team, go for a Faint Attack to hit the real one. By the third action, if you were only paralysed for one of the actions or not paralysed at all, use another Confuse Ray to force her to throw up a second protect. However, if you have been unfortunately paralysed twice in a row, then go for that Faint Attack now.
