Yeah... I saw a thread like this (Tombi and WWoTS) that they posted their tutorials here so that people only have one thread to look at. Well, I'm crediting them because they started this idea first. So, like them, I'll be pasting all of my GOOD tutorials here in this thread (There are two tutorials (my first two) that I didn't liked the result because I was a complete noob back then... :x

Latest Graphic Art Thread caught my eye. Had urge to make Art. Tried. Unsure.

Tutorials will be of use, I for one learnt a few new things while running through the Darkrai tut. Will attempt the others soon. Love the banners. The Shadow Sora one is great, but the text seems too plain for the sharp background. Looks like lolcat txt.

Also, may post result of Darkrai tut.? Somehow my GIMP doesn't have the Gradient Map script, but still came out okay-ish methinks.

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/i_am_a_turkey/GIMP%20Stuff/yin.png

I for one think it's horrible and deserves to be deleted, also my GIMP manages to make a 30% Screen look like a white layer, but I'm most definitely my greatest critic, so it may not be as horrible as I think.

Thank you for your criticize and result.

It looks really great! It has a grungy feeling to your work, even without the gradient maps! Absolutely, stunning and... dark, if I say so myself. :]

Though your text seems a bit to blurry that some people might find difficulty in reading it... ^ _ ^;

Thanks for the result, still! :]

Using your Shadow Sora tutorial, I made this Yuna banner:

They're not that hard. He goes through most of the steps thoroughly and it's understandable.

Good job, ragna. :33

C4Ds are just little effects you add. Go to Planet Renders (http://planetrenders.net/) and look for Abstract 3D renders in the gallery. Copy and paste.

It's not that hard. x___x

Dragoness:

Nice work! But your C4Ds are too... white-y... and the render is a bit big.

The render looks like it was resized bigger... but still, it's a nice banner! Thanks for trying! :]

Shadowpichu:

Ah, it's ok... some people may find difficulty at first but once you get the hang of it, I'm sure you'll be able to master those techniques that I gave in the tutorials! Thanks for commenting! :]

Operative:

Thanks for your support and comments! I will try to provide more tutorials in the near future... :]

I could make the streaks a different color, hmm...ty for the suggestion. As for the render, I was trying to go for something I usually don't and that's "big" renders like that, lol. I did not resize it--there is a lot more to the render than just her face o.O

When he said too white, I think he meant that the streaks looked bright and overwhelming, since they don't look smooth and curved well since the pixel on the side of it are completely, rather then the small gray pixel that make most renders/C4Ds 3D.

Maybe tone down the opacity?

I like your tutorials. They're really easy to follow ^^
I used the Luvdisc tut to make this:

After I finished all the steps I added a few extra touches c:

Used the Houndoom Tut.

I would have liked it if you listed the Gradients that you used.

Thank you for your comment, on with your banner!

You chose a nice stock, btw. Though the small text-like things are a bit off. You could have placed them horizontally instead of rotating them. I also liked the way how you did the pentooling. The line at the very left is thinner while the one near Shaymin is thicker, very nice pentooling style.

It is a very nice and lovely banner. Keep it up! :]

Operative:

Wow, looking good. Though you could have erased parts of the square pixels near Blissey's stomach. Even though it isn't stated in the tutorial you can still make any other touches you like... ^^;

Nice banner, still. I like it.

Yeah. :/

I'll probably make more banners using your tuts, since I need something to get me to make graphics...

Thanks for the c+c 8D
Though I'll admit the thinner pen-tooling wasn't mine, it was already in the stock LOL
I'll note what needs to be fixed so I can make a nicer one next time. Thanks a bunch :D

I've always liked your Darkrai tutorial, but I've never got around to doing it.

I shall do that soon. :D

Teh Edit:

Somehow I got that from the tutorial, however, I honestly think it's the best sig I've ever done.

I think this one's not as good as the Shaymin one, but I still like it c:

1. Filters ---> Blur ---> Pixelize ---> Sharpen

2. Select an area and bucket fill it with a lower opacity white.
