Hey everybody! This will be your guide to do the most damage possible and how to make the strongest pokemon possible.

The first step is to find a pokemon (duh). Now crank up it's stats as much as possible using vitamins. Attack and SPattack are obviously the most important.

Next, teach it atleast 1 or 2 of it's own type of move. 1+ for 1 type and 2+ for 2 type. Some other strong moves that aren't its type are required, too [Tip #1- A pokemon gets bonus attack power when they use a move of their own type. 25% bonus if the pokemon is 2 typed and 50% bonus if the pokemon is 1 typed. Normal moves (not physical, NORMAL type moves) don't get the same bonus. They get a 0% bonus]

Now for the combos.

Sunny Day+Solarbeam=no waiting for Solarbeam to charge
Sunny Day+any fire move=more damage
Rain Dance+Thunder=Thunder hits every time (water conducts electricity)
Rain Dance+any water move=more damage
opponent Dig+you Earthquake=Earthquake hits every time

attacks that can hit opponent in mid-air (fly)
Thunder
Sky Uppercut

weakness chart

attacker|types strong against

I no u spend a lot of time in making this guide, but please don't make a guide like this unless sb asks u a question.

Anyway, let me point out some mistakes from your guide, hope u dun mind:
Attack and SPattack are obviously the most important.
Not only attack and sp attack, defense, sp defense and speed ar equally important. It depends on whether u need a sweeper/an opener or a tank.

25% bonus if the pokemon is 2 typed and 50% bonus if the pokemon is 1 typed.
I thought if the pokemon is 2 typed, 50% bonus for both its both types attacks?

Normal moves (not physical, NORMAL type moves) don't get the same bonus. They get a 0% bonus]
Normal type pokemon use normal type move also has 50% bonus.

Sunny Day+Solarbeam=no waiting for Solarbeam to charge
Also, Rain dance + solarbeam= 3 turns for Solarbeam to charge

Sunny Day+any fire move=more damage
Also makes Thunder 50% acc. Reduce the damage of water moves to 50%.

Rain Dance+Thunder=Thunder hits every time (water conducts electricity)
Rain Dance+any water move=more damage
Not everytime. About 99.9% only. :P
Also reduce the damage of fire moves to 50%.

I meant for the mega damage.

I thought if the pokemon is 2 typed, 50% bonus for both its both types attacks?
False. It would be too strong that way.

Normal type pokemon use normal type move also has 50% bonus.False.

Also, Rain dance + solarbeam= 3 turns for Solarbeam to charge
Cool

Also makes Thunder 50% acc. Reduce the damage of water moves to 50%.

Also reduce the damage of fire moves to 50%.Cool

Hey everybody! This will be your guide to do the most damage possible and how to make the strongest pokemon possible.

The first step is to find a pokemon (duh). Now crank up it's stats as much as possible using vitamins. Attack and SPattack are obviously the most important.
Give me 10 good reasons why I don't need to boost the other stats. Without back-up information, nobody would believe this.

Don't use the word required, all Pokemon are different, some don't even need to have moves that are the same type as their type.(eg. Sneasel. It has a hilarious special attack that Alakazam laughs at, but works well as a fast physical sweeper.

Now for the combos.

Sunny Day+Solarbeam=no waiting for Solarbeam to charge

Vileplume was sent!
Magneton was sent!

Magneton was switched out for Arcanine!
Vileplume used Sunnyday!

Arcanine used Fire Blast(one of its standard moves)! Vileplume is ready to be served for dinner, aka, fried liek wtf. You add power to fire moves and lure fire mons out.
Sunny Day+any fire move=more damage
Only needed on low Special Attack fires, or else, it's really not needed.
Rain Dance+Thunder=Thunder hits every time (water conducts electricity)
Everytime = Wrong, I think. I think it's 99.6%. This combo doesn't work on all electric mons/water-mons-which-learn-thunder anyway. This might work on Lanturn or Magneton, but nothing else, really. Just my opinion
Rain Dance+any water move=more damage
Most water mons have usable Special Attack, and a Rain Dance just asks from a beating from electric mons' Thunder
opponent Dig+you Earthquake=Earthquake hits every time
Let's see whos gonna use Dig in competitive battling

attacks that can hit opponent in mid-air (fly)
Thunder
Sky Uppercut
Except for stalling purposes, nobody would use fly. Even if so, they'll probably be a Flying type, and Sky Uppercut wouldn't be effective. Thunder is...bah, why would you switch in a mon with thunder just to counter Fly. Fly doesn't do much damage, anyway.

Although we appreciate your efforts, your "guide" doesn't really help people.

Can't a guy feel free to help?
No. This is against the rules. Only post the answer if sb asks u a question.

I thought if the pokemon is 2 typed, 50% bonus for both its both types attacks?
False. It would be too strong that way.
False-false. I'm sure it's true. Look, do u think Nintendo haven't considered this before? Surely, u will no that pokemon with 2 types have more advantages as well as disadvantages. 2 types make more weaknesses than a single type(except for the legendarys and a few special pokemon).

Normal type pokemon use normal type move also has 50% bonus.False.
Provide some proofs pls? After playing pokemon games for a long time, i'm sure that normal-type pokemon using normal-types moves is more powerful than the other types.

poisen|grass, bug
Poison is s/e against grass and bug in RBY, but since GSC poison is only s/e against grass pokemon.

bug|dark, psychic, grass
rock|fire,ice,flying, bug
dark|???psychic, Ghost

ice|grass,bug,rock?,ground,flying,dragon
Ice is not s/e to rock. In contrast, rock is s/e to ice.
Also, ice is s/e to bug in RBY, but since GSC they remove this type advantage.

u also miss the ghost type: Ghost s/e ghost & psychic

No offense but u have a lot of mistakes in the weakness chart.

oops... sorry, my mistake. so parasect only has 2x weakness to poison o_O
*goes do some stuff*

if you download Netbattle RS, they provide an awesome Pokedex that gives you information of moves, traits, pokemon, and a weakness chart. hmm... [/random]

2 types make more weaknesses than a single type(except for the legendarys and a few special pokemon).

Being legendary doesn't exempt them from the weaknesses and strengths of their types. Lets see...1 Weakness Pokemon:

Kingdra
Cradily

Any others?

Marshtomp*
Swampert*
Barboach*
Whiscash*
Koffing
Weezing
Normal Types
Electric Types

*These are weak to one KIND, but double weak to it.

There are probably more but I can't really think of them right now.

And I thought Cradily had more than one weakness...unless I'm missing something?

Grass cancels the Ground and Water weakness of Rock.
Rock cancels the Fire and Bug weakness of Grass.

Obviously all Normals have one weakness. Koffing and Weezing still have 2 weaknesses, just one is cancelled out. The Ground weakness is still there when Role Play gives him another ability.

I haven't read through the first page, or even attempted the second page, so I don't know if this has been already stated, but...
...I have a theory...Defense Curl + Rollout. Of course, I haven't tried it myself, but it seems to make sense...
...right?

Defense Curl increases the power of Rollout...But still, Rollout is crap if you don't use it on the right mon. I'll laugh if you use it on a Miltank.

The rules ain't up yet, but here are the basic ones.
-No posts less than 4 words
-No posting more than once in a row.
-Do not bring up threads which are more than a week old.
-Don't post pointlessly.
