Interesting topic. :o

I quite enjoy J-Rock and have a large collection in my library.

I like;
Orange Range, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Plastic Tree, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, Luna Sea, X Japan and of course, L'Arc~en~Ciel. :D

デンジャー☆ギャング, the studs, LUNA SEA, OGRE YOU ASSHOLЕ, 犬神サーカス団, Aoi, and Sleep My Dear.

I first started listening to J-Rock in 2004, and listened to only a few songs occasionally for several years-- hide's "DICE," globe's "Anytime Smokin' Cigarette," and a few by Porno Graffiti and The Back Horn. I didn't look very far into it because finding CDs or files to download was difficult at that point. It wasn't really until late 2008 when a friend got me really into the genre with LUNA SEA. I looked into it more and more, getting into others like L'Arc~en~Ciel, PENICILLIN, PIERROT, and Dir en grey. And here I am today.

Thanks to my friend, I know quite a few Korean artists, but as for J-Rock, all I've got is Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Awesome instrumentals, but the vocals are pretty bad.

I know this isn't exact but I don't care. Faye Wong is the best asian artist to me.

I liked High and Mighty Color. Outside of that, my J-rock knowledge drops dramatically. I'm not entirely sure if you can include UVERworld in there as well.

UVERworld is pretty cool.
