Im having trouble getting a Smoochum. I have to breed a Jynx and a Ditto, right? At least thats what this site says.. Anyways, it only says that it has interest in the other, and its supposed to be friendly. Im not really getting an egg. Anyone got an idea why?

Don't worry, you're doing everything right. It will lay an egg sooner or later. The more you walk, though, the quicker it will lay an egg (I think). mlugia could tell you exactly how many steps. When the old man is standing outside the door, that means you Pokemon laid an egg. Talk to him to get the egg.

Allright, thx for your reply.

I've gotten all the baby forms, but this one's taking long and the pokemon's have diffrent feelings, so Im just checking

Of all the babies I've been hatching, Smoochum took the longest to obtain / hatch. :susp:

Also, how the Pokemon feel about each other will not effect whether or not you get an egg. You WILL get an egg, but depending on how they feel about each other, it will take a certain amount of time (steps).

Otherwise, you're doing good.

Well then, another question. Does it matter where I leave the female's and male's? Do female go with day care lady and male with the dude? Or doesnt it matter?

No I mean I had them on as jynx at the dude, and ditto at the female. So I took them out and switched them around. Guess it has to start over again?

It doesn't matter. Each time you take a step, a random number is chosen. If that number matches with a precalculeted one, you get an egg.

Oh, so its totally random? Well I thought it was just like when you take 1000 steps, you get an egg.

no no, it hatches at a precise amount of steps...
