Well, the iPhone is as much an entertainment system as it is hardware/computer.

Any iPhone owners/users besides myself out there? Chat about it all here. If I get enough response, I might even create a club. XD Ah wth, I might do it anyway.

Anyway, talk about the hardware itself, software, apps, rumors, likes, dislikes, etc.

The reason I love it is because it pretty much does EVERYTHING except go to the jon for you. I take it everywhere and do everything on it. Except eat and intercourse. Though it does relate to the latter in a way. ;p

So, I'll start discussion with the famous ordeal with the prototype of the next generation hardware.

At first I thought, "wtf is this!?" Looks like a cheap rip-off.

That's a front-facing camera. OMG iChat!

The more I saw stories on it, the more it grew on me. A LOT of things don't make a good first impression but ultimately end up growing on me.

The size is supposedly closer to the iPod Touch in terms of how thin it will be! I love this aspect!

Larger lens and more MPs. 5.0, up from the current 3.0 and oh yes, LED Flash!!

I hope this is how it looks, minus the seams. But it wouldn't bother me as much.

We already know we are getting multitasking and a couple of other things with the 4.0 software update, but this hardware would be the cherry on top!

Discuss. =D

I've always wanted one...they seem so...diverse. I mean, you can do almost anything with it (not that I would, but there has to be someone out there that would).

Going live, typing from my iPhone 3G.

I would the only genuine disadvantage Apple iPhone market has its only provider is none other than AT&T. It would more profitable if Verizon could get their hand dipped in this as well, in my opinion. Not to mention, from what I've heard recently, AT&T has not been too good to their customers. Also, they need to get with the program and enable tethering, even if a fee must be imposed.

Other than that, it is an excellent device that, with a few improvements, will be truly superb.

Ever since I got my 3GS I've hated iPhones.

This one is no better. Apple products (in my opinion) are getting worse rather than better.

I have a 3GS. And yes I like it.
As for the new iPhone 4G...it doesnt look all that great. Idk and OS4 I think is going to suck. Theres like barely any new features. They make it seem like such a big deal but I already have those features on my jailbroken 3GS.

And, Police Seize Gizmodo Editor's Computers and Other Property Related to Lost Next-Generation iPhone (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/26/police-seize-gizmodo-editors-computers-and-other-property-related-to-lost-next-generation-iphone/). Whoa, that serious, huh?

I'm loving the new design. I'll just wait for the 4GS, though.

Compared to my other phones, this one broke the fastest. My phones tend to slip from my pockets a lot (although my iPhone DID survive a nasty fall on Saturday night), and the first time my iPhone fell WITH the cover on... well lets just say when its on silent and you press down near the top of the phone it buzzes. Stuff like that isn't covered in my warranty.

I took the cover off and its surviving more bumps and scrapes... but I think I prefer my indestructible made Sony Ericsson's (that I did.... smash one of them into tiny pieces by throwing it off of marble in London)

I am getting a Droid, not an Iphone because of the price. $350 or more for Deactivation, and more for activation, so it's just a big rip-off. For the Droid, just 110 for activation, AND it still has the same features as the IPhone. Probably $200 for deactivation, so the Iphone is NOT on my wishlist.

I've been using an iPod touch for the last year and a half, and now I've left university I'm looking forward to being able to afford an iPhone. Hopefully the contracts here in the UK won't be too extortionate on the iPhone 4.

I still have the original iPhone, and considering that it still does everything just as well (except the mute tab, which is annoying) I'm quite content with it. Which is why I'm extremely PO'd that Apple is phasing out my support.

Well I have the iPhone 3GS and use it a ton, it works and its very convinient. Its good for casual handheld gaming as well as making phone calls, surfing the web at quick speeds, and much more.. I dont have much to compare it to, seeing as the only other phone I've had was a Razr and a Go-Phone, but in my opinion its the best phone ever. I mostly use it for gaming and the internet myself, so not many otherphones would really fit these needs except maybe the Androids.. but theyre still not as good as the iPhone and its iTunes.

I prefer the flexibility of Android actually. iTunes is a pile of crap, I wish I didn't have to use it to sync music to my iPod, but now that I have the Nexus it can handle all my music for me.

Still waiting to see if iPhone 4 can match up to the Nexus One with FroYo. :P

How many Nexus Ones were sold one its first day? How many does it have so far? XD
