Just wondering if I'm the only one here who still likes stuff with 8-bit music, Galaga, NES, SNES, GBC, etc.
I'm going to get sent to the shame corner for this, aren't I? ):

Depends. You like Contra, Mega Man, Castlevania (pre-metroidvania era), and all that junk?

Contra was okay. Mega Man was and still is awesome. I think I played Castlevania for about three seconds, then got distracted by something else. I forget what it was, exactly.
I'm sort of hoping someone will bring up Sierra's old PC titles.

Anybody who doesn't needs to get their retro goggle's out again. Because all of what you listed is awesome and still is awesome. To me anyway. Chiptunes are also a really unique thing, so yeah, 8-Bit music rules.
So no, you shall not be sent to the shame corner. :D

I used to play Atari if that says anything.
Commador 64 with the Carmen Sandiego games, NES, Sega Saturn (Albert Oddessy and Shining the Holy Ark rule!!!), SNES, Dreamcast, PS1 &2...
Retros are by far the funnest and most challenging.
And in terms of PC retro, how about One Must Fall, King's Quest and Brutal: Paws of Fury?
