If you haven't seen it yet, umpire Jim Joyce, with a horrible call, ruined Armando Gallaraga's perfect game, a feat only accomplished twenty other times in history. This has spurred outcries for introduction of instant replays to the MLB which has forever flaunted the majesty of the human element. An element that just happened to rob a man of his place in history.

What are your opinions? Should replay be introduced? Should the MLB commisioner overturn the call and give him his perfect game?

Instant replay should be introduced. (http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/armando-galarraga-mistake-should-lead-to-replay-6210)
Bud Selig should overrule the call. (http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/Bud-Selig-must-overrule-call-that-wiped-out-perfect-game-060210)

Youtube Top of that 9th Inning (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTR8_RS9epc) Skip to 3:31 for the play.

EDIT: Commisioner Selig has announced that he will not change the call. What a shame.

Such a huge bummer...

At least he felt bad about it; would have been so much worse if he seriously thought he made a good call.

Always Detroit. =/

I feel really bad for the umpire. He felt awful for blowing the call, and was in tears today when Gallaraga gave him the lineup card.

Anyway though, I think baseball should implement a challenge rule like the NFL does for calls like that. Doing it for balls and strikes is just stupid.

I don't think that a manager should be able to challenge, that fits more into football more.
I think that this is the last deciding straw for Bud Selig to implement instant replay into baseball, further then home runs.
