So, the 3DS has generally been known since it offical announcement in March, thanks to E3 though, we know have videos and a list of awesome games coming out...whenever. So what do you think of it? What games caught your eye? Is it going to be a day 1 purchase?

For me, these things make it seem awesome, but to keep this short, I'll limit that to 3 things...

1: Online anywhere! And for no subscription! (are you watching microsoft?)
2: 3D Ocorina of Time and 3D Lylat Wars!
3: You can watch 3D movies and take 3D pictures!

Perhaps the most ground breaking here, apart from goggles free 3D gaming, is internet on the go, for free. As we are all aware, other handheld consoles and home consoles (not that you'll be playing those on the bus >_>) have been anchored down by access points, NO MORE! Although the quality of service and speed and whatnot is yet to be reaveled, its a step forward for those without an access point, making the world of online gaming available to anyone with the console.

So, what do you guys and gals think?

I want the new Sonic game coming out for the 3DS. I've also heard that its controller WILL be like the Virtual Boy, though... ._.'

Nintendo had already won me back over with the likes of Metroid and Kirby, but the moment I saw that the first officially announced launch title for 3DS was Kid freaking Icarus I about passed out. The other 3DS launch titles also made me squee.

There's already some screenshots of Paper Mario 4 leaked. It turns out they're going back to the RPG based system and you get to have a chain chomp as a partner! How much better can it get?

I was way disappointed with Nintendo before because it seemed like they were...content with mediocrity and terrible third party titles. But, their thorough raping of E3 has won me back.

The 3DS is a cool concept and I think people will be excited for it when it first comes out.. but.. it's going to be one of those things that are like: It's cool.. But should it replace my old DS? For most people, they wouldn't buy a new DS. If you're either rich or a Nintendo fan you would line up for it. This handheld separates the hardcore nintendo fans and the men.

I'm not buying it btw.

Well if you had a DSi you could sell it because that's basically what the 3DS is except it has a joystick and 3D graphics. Not to mention that the 3DS are going to have some kick a** games like Paper Mario 4, Metal Gear Solid, etc. And it can play the old DS games so it could be worthwhile to have 1.

Add to that gamecube power/graphics and dreamworks and others releasing 3D movies.
Frankly, if you hold onto your DSi then your crazy.
