Breeding help?

I think this is where I should put this? I didn't see a forum for breeding but I didn't think this belonged in general.

I have been trying to breed a shiny eevee for quite awhile now(to no avail. i've hatched over 120 eggs so far, and i plan to hatch more) in platinum.
is there anyway to increase my chances of hatching a shiny besides the masuda method?
without anything other than what I can do on my platinum cartridge.

There's RNG breeding but thats about it that I know.

i'll give it a shot once i figure out my SID, but i'll probably get confused

Also, if you have one of the poke's that your breeding from a different country I'm pretty sure it halfs the percentage of getting a shiny.
