Yeah, you guys will probably say my internet have problems or something, but no.

I've been trying to load PE2K for the last few afternoons, and the forum was down. Yes, you heard me, it was down. When I tried to enter it, it showed "The Page Cannot Be Found". It comes online during my evening, and that's rather why people don't believe me. Afternoon is when I'm free to come online, but that forum won't load =/ Hope something can be done.

BTW, it is NOT my internet's problem, cuz I load other websites just well, and pretty fast I might add.

Well, Thunderbird, the server seems to like you =/ Since I came home at around 1 pm till 6 pm, that forum wouldn't load at all =\ I was bored the whole afternoon...meh. I thought this server was stable...[insert blah here].

So did I, but seemed like no one else could either. There was a time TT couldnt get on, and the rest of us could. No one could get on yesterday it seemed. =\

Yeah, I was having problems with it too for some time. Seems like it's okay now, so let's just hope it stays that way.

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience, annoyance and irritation that has been caused by the slowness and downtime of this server.

It has been pretty noticeable that it has been extremely slow over the past couple of days. At one point I know the reason for it being so slow was down to it being DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacked. This was probably more than likely the reason throughout the whole lag-period for it being slow.

I know for a fact, however, over the past week the server has only "gone down" once. This was because it was switched off for around an hour in an attempt to kill off the DDoS attacks. The rest of the time I don't deny that it was going at unbelievably slow speeds, so slow I had to turn the timeout option off in my browser and wait about five minutes to open a very small text file. Once again, I apologize for this.

I would like to add, however, that I have been doing everything I can within my power to get the server running at a normal speed. I do not own the server myself, though, it is run and maintained by a good friend of mine. He, too, I am sure has been attempting to get the server running normally again - it would appear he has been successful now. Everything should be running normally again now.

Over the past few days the server has (we think) been suffering from DDoS attacks. As I stated above, the server has only been down once for about an hour. The "The Page Cannot Be Found" error is probably a time out where the server was crawling.

If you continue to have these problems, however, please let me know what the date and times they occur in, including the timezone you are referring to, if possible.

There are many several reasons as to why some people may be able to get on and other's not. If the location of the server is of any use, it is in Edinburgh, Scotland (in Britain, to the north of England).

Dang... this is happening to me now... took me 10 minutes to load the reply thing. Yesterday it happened too, nothing came up. Around 20 minutes ago, I can't go in too, and there are errors popping out...

Sorry everyone of the slowtime and downtime, but luckily, usually things are running fine. TRO has been doing his best, and I can't thank him enough, he's the one giving us the space here on the server, not to mention the forum itself.
