I guess I'll approve this, but I might wanna suggest something.

Try to be careful with your outlines. You seem to be missing outline parts, and forgetting to recolor some.
Also, I see most of your work is pixely. What program do you use? O..o;;

If you use GIMP, you might wanna see THIS TUT (http://pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showpost.php?p=910035&postcount=6). Try to make it so that the sprite is clear, and recolor correctly. Good luck~

I use photosohop. The squirtle and pidgeot look like that because I saved them as .gifs to get a transparent background. As for the others I just wanted them to look good and made them jpegs. As for the chimchar + weavile I'm most likely going to remove that because I think it looks a bit too pixely. As for the most recent 3 I now see where I missed outlines on Wobbuffet and the hair on the scout girl, thanks for the tips :biggrin:

Hmmm...if I were you, I would ignore the white backround. Sprites, and everything, really, tends to look better if you save it in a Png format (.png)

If you want to know how to keep the transparency but have the sprite still look normal, ask some of the Master spriters who work with transparent backrounds.

Either way, good luck with spriting!

I agree with Tokyo. c:

Try using iaza.com for transparency. It keeps the quality of PNG, but enables the background to be transparent. c:

Try to use microsoft Paint.Photoshop is not that good when it comes to spriting pokemon and save it in PNG always:happy:

Thanks everyone :biggrin: And I figured out how to get rid of the white background without ruining the quality. Just delete the default background and save it as a .png like you guys said thanks. :oops: And I gave it a try shadow but I like the preciseness of photoshop and the variety of tools I can use more than in mspaint. Thank you though. :happy:

For my first bunch it's to late to save them as .pngs as I forgot to save a .psd and if I do save the as .png's they'll look the same >.<
