Alright guys, can you do me a favor and begin each post with an icon of your character(s) involved in the post so no one gets confused? I'll leave urls for them right here:
...Yes, they're in numerical order. I'm OCD like that. Anyways, if you right click and choose "copy image location" and then paste it in your post, it should show up. Don't forget to add image tags, though.
EDIT: nevermind, you can't do that. At least, I can't on my laptop. That's annoying. Even so, please begin your posts with icons. :P
Tieren stopped to rest. His furry, white arms dropped to rest on his knees, and he panted heavily. They had traveled far and he knew that he was tired, but he also figured that he would be able to get some rest as they had stopped in the center of a forest, which would give them ample cover.
He took a whiff of the air and determined that the spores of a nearby Vileplume colony completely concealed their scents, so they were essentially untraceable.
For the first time since the escape, he surveyed what was left of the escape group. The vast majority had been captured, but a small number remained-- there was a Grovyle, a Virbrava, a Lairon, a Piplup, a Cyndiquil, and a Vulpix. He was almost hesitant to start a conversation with any of them as he presumed them all to be as exhausted as he was, but he was too afraid that the group would disband if its members didn't get to know one another.
He approached the Grovyle. "Hello, my name is Tieren," he said, trying to be as friendly as possible. "I'm a Zangoose. What's your name?"
Dominic made no attempt to hide his nervousness as he flew about in random jerks and constantly looked from side to side. He noticed the Zangoose smell the air and then look satisfied, which he took to mean that the collective scent of the group had worn off.
That's good, he thought. He watched as the Zangoose made casual conversation with a Grovyle in the group, admiring the furry Pokemon's level-headed attitude in such a frightening situation. Nonetheless, he was too nervous to start a conversation of his own, despite his prowess in the skill owing to his noble upbringing. Instead, he landed on the ground and stood on all four of his legs, but he couldn't bring himself to relax. He was still on high alert.

[OoC/; Just a note- everything in italics is thought, apart from like... y'know, emphasised words in sentences and stuff. n_n
Also, an idea. Maybe everyone could colourize their speech? I find it makes it easier to quickly find parts...
Huff... huff... huff... oh man...
His throat raw, the Grovyle grinded to a halt and fell back to the floor, one skinny leg bent and the other stuck out. His breaths came in sore pants as he rested, his scarlet stomach rising and falling. They had walked rapidly for miles- seriously rapidly. His chest hurt. With one final, long sigh, he exhaled and opened his amber eyes.
The group was small. Painfully small. He cast his gaze over a Zangoose, a Cyndaquil, A Lairon, a Vibrava, a Vulpix and a Piplup. None of them he knew. With another sigh, and scratching his head with curved fingers, he contemplated rising from the floor.
"Hello, my name is Tieren."
Blinking, Leyton looked up. A white furry creature stood there, with brilliant orange markings and rather long claws.
"I'm a Zangoose. What's your name?"
"Hey, Tieren," he answered, grinning weakly at the Pokemon and dragging himself to his feet. "I'm Leyton. Grovyle."

Nate stopped to rest with the others that had managed to escape with them. He looked back at Cynder to make sure she had not been separated from him. Cynder was sitting down, leaning on a tree breathing heavily. "Cynder, are you going to be okay?" Nate asked with a worried look on his face. He was breathing just as heavy, if not heavier than Cynder was. Nate and Cynder had been the best of friends since she had saved his life. Now they are inseparable even being captured. Nate sat down to rest his small feet. Nate looked around the group to actually notice who was with them. "Are we the only ones of those who were captured to escape?" Nate asked Cynder. Nate felt abit safer being with a group.
Cynder was tired out but she knew if she valued her life they would have to continue running. She huffed and puffed to catch her breath. Cynder had heard Nate's question, this was Nate's typical behavior to worry about her. "I'm...fine but we have got to...keep on moving sooner or later," Cynder answered in between breathes. Cynder took a look at her fellow pokemon who are on the run with her. "We must be the only ones who made it this far at least. Is everyone okay?" She asked the group. I can't imagine what those creeps would do to us if they caught us...whatever happens I must keep Nate safe...

Hey, I like that idea, Tombi! Tieren will be gray and Dominic will be poop brown.
Tieren smiled."You need any help?" he asked of Leyton as he retracted his left claw and offered the arm to the tired Pokemon. He looked away for a brief moment, lost in thought.
I'm going to have to reveal to them that I used to work for Nero at some point... but before I do that, I'll have to gain their trust. I won't betray them, but they can't betray me either if any of us want to survive. I'm the one who knows the inner workings of the PokeColosseum.
Dominic calmed down for a moment as he saw a Cyndiquil ask the group if everyone was okay. Cyndiquil was a small Pokemon, no matter the specimen, and it somehow reassured Dominic to know that even a small Pokemon such as that was able to take responsibility and love the group even though none of them had met.
He realized that the Piplup and Cyndiquil seemed to have a special bond, so it was possible that they had known each other before the escape, but he couldn't be sure. Nonetheless, he approached the Cyndiquil. "Good afternoon," he said, bowing in the way he had been taught by his father. "I am glad to know that you find concern for all of us. Any caring emotion is highly valued right now." He paused.Oh, I'm sorry! Where are my manners? My name is Dominic; I am a Vibrava. What are you called?"
Yeah, there's no poop brown...

Rivet was running, with train speed, and anyone in his way would surely be demolished. After a few minutes he came to a stop. "Whew...lucky we got away..." Rivet Answered. He looked around and seen other Pokémon, an emerald green Grovyle, a fiery Cyndaquil, an icy Piplup, a leaf green Vibrava, and a slate grey Zangoose, all with anguished looks on their face.
"The name's Rivet, nice to meet 'ya all. My advice to you is to stay out of my way when I'm runnin'." He smirked. Rivet looked worried, with the fear of getting slaughtered in the Colosseum. He knew he had to make the right choice, but what was it? He looked up at the cerulean- blue sky and sighed... "Will we ever be free from fear, will we ever be free?" he pondered this in his mind for the rest of the day.
11-07-2010, 10:02 PM
"You need any help?"
The Zangoose's claws retracted and Leyton took his paw gratefully as he got to his feet. He stretched, his leaves rustling faintly, and then observed the others. They all looked exhausted.
"We must be the only ones who made it this far at least. Is everyone okay?"
Leyton's thoughts instantly conjured an image of his younger brother. They had been captured separately and had never seen each other at the Colosseum, but... maybe... maybe he was alive? And had run too, just like them?
"There could be others who escaped and went in a different direction," he offered to the group, a trace of hope in his voice. "We might find some people if we keep, er..."
He was going to say 'moving', but he didn't want to suggest that quite yet.
"... Um. Anyone for some food?"
11-07-2010, 10:07 PM
Nate saw that a Vibrava walked over to Cynder, so insticntly he walked over to Cynder. I know that all of these pokemon escaped with us but you can't be too careful... Nate just stood there beside Cynder. "Hello Dominic! My name is Nate, the Piplup. This is my best friend Cynder," Nate introduced. He bowed respectivley to Dominic. If Nate was anything he always tried to be polite even though sometimes he forgets. He sat down beside Cynder trying not to seem rude or nosey. But Nate didn't want to seem untrustful to any of the other pokemon on the run with him. "Some food would sound quire pleasant right now. Do you agree Cynder?" Nate responded.
Cynder smiled at Dominic's introduction. Then gave a sigh at Nate's abrupt indtrodution. This was another of Nate's typical things."Hello my name is Cynder, sorry about my best friend Nate's abruptness. He is just a bit protective he doesn't mean to come across rude," Cynder explained. She watched as Nate bowed respectfully, she did the same as an apology. Cynders struggled quite abit but was able to wearily stand up. "I wonder where we are," Cynder questioned curiously. "Yes I could go for a snack right now to boost up my energy," Cynder responded.
11-07-2010, 10:12 PM
"I think I'm ok, lemme check. Yep."
Rivet looked around for any more survivors. Nothing, not a single soul in sight. He became enlightened, and very famined.
I'm hungry. What'd you bring to eat?"
He began thinking of his childhood and how awful it was. How he was abandoned by his mother and the gory images of Pokemon that had been slain. Anything from then on would be in their name... For the punishment that Nero will have bestowed on him.
11-07-2010, 10:26 PM
Hey Dark Lord, could you get a darker font?... I have to highlight everything Rivet says just to read it. Maybe you could go for a blue shade, to reflect his status as a shiny Pokemon.
Edit: Never mind, you beat me to it xD Well done!
After he helped Leyton to his feet, Tieren looked to the side to see a rather strangely-colored Lairon skid to a halt. "The name's Rivet, nice to meet 'ya all. My advice to you is to stay out of my way when I'm runnin'."
Tieren smiled. Everybody else seemed so exhausted, so it was good to see at least one member of their new group with so much energy. Nonetheless, there was a certain sadness in Rivet's face; Tierne couldn't help but wonder what was on the Lairon's mind.
Tieren's large ears perked up when he heard a certain word.
"... Um. Anyone for some food?" Leyton asked.
Tieren chuckled quietly. He knew that Leyton had originally suggested that they keep moving but then changed his mind; he chose not to say anything about the blunder.
"Food would be great," he replied enthusiastically. "I think there's a pond nearby. I can hear a faint waterfall in the distance. Do you want to go hunting with me?"
He hesitated, then decided to extend the invitation to the entire group. "Hey guys, I know we're all tired, but I can bet that we're all pretty hungry, too. Does anyone want to go on a hunting trip with me? I'm pretty sure there's a pond nearby."
"And risk being seen from the skies?" Dominic chimed in. "I mean, if it's a pond, then we won't have trees to cover us. Nero might have soldiers looking for us in the skies, but they won't notice us if we stay here."
"Well,"Tieren replied, "the alternative is to starve. Besides, we must be miles away from the PokeColosseum, and our scent has been thrown off. They have no idea where we are, and I, for one, am really, really hungry."
Dominic sighed. "You're right. I guess I'll join you." He batted his wings against the ground several times to take off, forming a small dust cloud. He started orbiting Tieren in the sky, waiting for the group to disembark.
11-07-2010, 10:34 PM
"I will go hunting with you," Nate responded. He walked behind Dominic and Cynder followed. "Yeah I'm going too! We need to get Rivet some food anyways," Cynder exclaimed. Though Dominic did have a point of them being vulnerable but they were effectivley coverd by scent and visual. The group was starving from the run so it would be reasonable to get some food."I'm starving so let's go," Cynder stated enthusiasticly. Nate had always admired Cynder's positive attitudes even in the most grave situation.

Hey guys, welcome Coddleflop as Thorn the evil Roselia! Check out the sign-up here (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3210382&postcount=35).
"Alright, well I'm not waiting any longer. Those of you who want to go, let's go!" Tieren announced. He pricked his ears up to listen for the waterfall that he had heard earlier. He was in luck-- it was just a few steps away. He got down on all four limbs and scampered off to find it, which he did in under a minute.
Dominic followed close behind, gliding along the slight breeze in the forest, darting around the trees in an almost graceful manner. When he and Tieren arrived at the pond, he fluttered his four diamond-shaped wings and landed on the ground. "Wow, it's tiny," he said. He was right-- it seemed more like a puddle than a pond. It was an almost perfect circle, with a radius of about ten feet.
There was a wide and energetic waterfall that avoided making too much noise because it was only four feet tall on the far end. There was a much narrower waterfall of about the same size closer to Tieren and Dominic; this revealed that it wasn't a pond but a river, and this was just one large cavity where the water rested.
As such, the water was very fresh--far from the stagnancy of most ponds. There were no infinitely irritating mosquitoes biting the faces of Dominic and Tieren that were so characteristic of small ponds, which were breeding grounds for their kind.
Dominic flew above the pond to get to the center, where he circled around for a few moments so that he could see how deep it was.
Unfortunately, it was very difficult to tell how deep it was, for though the water was clear, there was no bottom in sight. "It's really deep," he reported to Tieren. "I can't tell exactly how deep it is, but I'm sure there's some edible trout in here."
"Any Magikarp or Goldeen?" Tieren called back.
Dominic looked unsure. He focused his eyes, but he couldn't see the vibrant colors of any fish Pokemon--just a few gray fish. "I don't think so," he said.
"Good," Tieren replied. "I don't want to accidentally hurt a Pokemon. Even fish Pokemon can think and talk like we can, so hurting an innocent specimen would make me feel really guilty. As long as it's just animals living in here, I won't feel bad."
"Yeah," Dominic replied. "Now, can you swim? I'm ground type and I don't do well in water."
"I can't swim well," Tieren admitted. "Maybe we should just wait for Nate to get here. I'm sure he could catch a fish in a heartbeat."

((OOC: Woah! Time difference much? T_T))
Venus eventually halted to a long awaited stop after the never-ending sprint. The sound of her paws constantly pounding the ground as she ran and ran until she couldn't concentrate on anything else, the heavy breathing, the tense atmosphere-it would never leave her memory.
Why? Why me? Venus wondered as she tried to regain normal breathing. What did I ever do to deserve this?
As Venus looked up from the ground, she saw the other fugitive Pokemon breathing heavily too. She had no idea how it had happened, or how she'd even escaped, but she had managed to escape without being injured, and that was all that mattered right now.
Venus discreetly watched the others underneath her long, fluttering eyelashes. They were...introducing themselves? Talking to each other?
Is it even safe for us to do that? We have no idea who each other are... Venus wondered, before deciding to speak to at least one of them after a Grovyle had offered to go and search for food. There was no way she was going to trust any one of them at this present moment, but at least she could get some food out of it.
"I'll stay here and roast whatever food you bring back. Water and me don't mix." Venus shrugged before stretching out on the ground as she watched the others wander off into the forest...
11-08-2010, 06:24 PM
Distracted from the others by the slightly-late arrival of a Vulpix, Leyton's attention left the group who started to wander away after a small debate. He was about to greet her, when her words closed his mouth.
"I'll stay here and roast whatever food you bring back. Water and me don't mix."
With that, Leyton looked over his shoulders to see the others gone. He groaned and flopped back onto the floor, his stomach growling. As much as he wanted to follow them and find food, he didn't think leaving the Vulpix and Rivet in this clearing was a good idea. They should try to stay in even-ish groups at all times... just in case...
"I'm sooooo hungry," he sighed, leaning back on his hands.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani315.gif Thorn the Roselia
Thorns eyes scanned the tree line, searching for the escapees. However, she found nothing. She cursed to herself, once again picking up her speed, entering the forest. Instantly an array of different aromas hit her. She looked around for the source of the strongest smell. A small Gloom waddling along slowly. Thorn smiled a wicked grin.
Thorn approached the Gloom slowly, putting on her best 'innocent' act. "Ummm, excuse me?", she said sweetly, getting the attention of the Gloom. "Have you seen my friends come past here?"
"Nope," the Gloom replied, continuing on its way.
"Are you sure? I saw them come this way..." Thorn said back, dropping her gaze to the floor, smiling devilishly to herself.
"Can't say I have, sweetie. Why?"
"Oh, it's just that Nero," Thorn looked up at the Gloom as she said his name, the face of the Gloom dropping, "has... Has..."
"Awwww, don't worry," the Gloom cut her off, waddling over to her side, wrapping one arm around her.
"Please, let me finish. He's instructed me to find and capture or kill them."
Thorn looked the Gloom straight in the eyes, sending fear into his soul. Before Gloom could react Thorn had pulled him into a headlock. "Where are they?!" she questioned.
"I-I don't know," he rasped, trying to pry himself free, but to no avail.
"Where are they?!" Thorn yelled at him, gripping tighter.
"I don't know!" the Gloom yelled back.
"Tell me!" Thorn nearly screamed, the smell of poison escaping her red flower.
"Okay, okay!" the Gloom gave in, "They've headed towards the center of the forest, lead by a single Zangoose."
"Thank you," Thorn replied sickly-sweetly, "was that so difficult?" Thorn turned, facing the direction the group had headed. Before she went, however, she turned and fired a large ball of poison at the Gloom, before charging in with her red flower, now glowing a sickly purple, and striking the Gloom down. She then turned and went in hot pursuit of the group, laughing evilly to herself.
Ooc: Moves used: Sludge bomb, then Venom Shock.
11-08-2010, 11:09 PM
Nate and Cynder scurried along behind Dominic and Tierien. "Maybe we should just wait for Nate to get here. I'm sure he could catch a fish in a heartbeat." Nate heard Tieren suggest. "Don't worry Cynder and I have a system of catching fish easily. Cynder are you ready?" Nate teasingly asked.
Nate dived into the deep pond. Cynder scurried in front of the spot where Nate had dived into the water. Nate was spiraling down gracefully into the beautiful depths of the pond. He sped past and under a school of fairly large fish. The school was about twelve or thirteen fish in total, this is where Nate would make the catch. Nate began glowing a light blue energetic all over his body. He rose his flippers up and the water above him began spiraling in a twister formation. The school of fish were helplessly trapped in the whirlpool, then he launched a furious bubblebeam that sent the whirlpool spiraling to the surface. Once the whirlpool broke up to the surface it dispersed and the fish flew into the air. Cynder then released a wave of stars that sent the fish onto the other side of the pond landing safely on the ground around the pond.
Aqua then spiraled out of the water gracefully landing onto the ground next to the warm fish. "Nate you have improved since the last time we did this," Cynder complemented. Nate blushed, "Your Swift has improved as well,". Cynder raced around the pond right next to Nate. "Now we just have to heat them up," Cynder stated. Cynder then released a light flame that would warm up the fish yet would not singe them. Once Cynder was done he stood there and smiled. Nate gave her a pat on the back. "Well done, Cynder!" Nate exclaimed happily.
11-08-2010, 11:41 PM
Dude that was SICK
Dominic glided over to the pond's edge when Nate began with his Whirpool--he didn't want to get caught in the crossfire. He sat down next to Tieren and watched in awe. "That was incredible," he said, half impressed and half baffled. "I've never seen anything like that."
"I completely agree," Tieren said. "I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that. The teamwork especially was incredible." He got down on all four limbs and scampered over to the pile of fish on the other side of the pond, leaping over the narrower waterfall in the process.
With his ability of flight, Dominic arrived at the other side of the pond much before Tieren. "These don't look dead; they just look hurt," he remarked, sadness in his voice. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to end their pain." Dominic carefully emitted a stream of Dragonbreath from his mouth that was as hot as a furnace. Before long, the fish had all passed away and burned to a perfect crisp.
Dominic jumped the opportunity and grabbed one with his two forward-facing tendrils and forced it into his mouth, satiating his hunger very quickly. Not only were the fish tasty, but they were also rich in nutrients.
"Bleeding heart," Tieren joked with Dominic. "It's not that big of a deal if they're in pain, isn't it? They can't think like we can, and they were destined to die anyways. We need them just to survive; that's their role in the world."
Dominic looked hurt. "I don't like killing things," he explained in a very serious, almost confrontational tone."If it were up to me, I'd be a vegetarian, but my species needs meat to survive."
Tieren shrugged. "Whatever. At any rate, let's get this food back to camp." He scooped up as many as he could, held them against his chest, and began waddling back to the clearing where Rivet, Leyton, and the Vulpix whom he had not met were waiting. Dominic soon followed suit by picking up two--one with each set of legs--and flying back to the clearing.
Both Pokemon threw their fish out in front of the fire and began gnawing on their own portions. "These are for everyone," Tieren announced.
11-09-2010, 02:31 AM
Nate and Cynder smiled for the compliments they have received. They both followed behind Dominic and Tieren back to the group. "These are for everyone," Tieren announced. Nate got two portions one for himself and for Cynder. They both sat leaning on a tree together nibbling on their fish. "Thank you for this delightful cooking of the fish Dominic! You have my gratitude!" Cynder thanked politley. "This really hits the spot after all that running! You cooked this to perfection Dominic!" Nate exclaimed cheerfully. Cynder nodded in agreement with a smile as she continued to munch on the fish. This is quite the up lifting moment, but the real question is how long will this last? I mean Nero's hunters could be right around the corner from us but for a moment I had completley forgotten about that. These pokemon are quite good-hearted, but still can I really trust them... Cynder took a pondering facial expression as she continued eating her fish. This is quite the good fish...that look on Cynder's face means she is deep in thought, I wonder what about. These pokemon are good, they are great traveling companions so far it seems. Well where are Nero's goons who are after us? Could they be close by? Well it does not matter too much with me as long as I don't have to face all of this alone. I have all these other kind pokemon and especially Cynder by my side... Nate continued to eat his fish with a confident look on his face. They sat side by side enjoying their fish it was like they both were still back in PokeRome for their lives had been only enjoying life together. But the only difference were that the peace could all end in a blink of an eye.
11-09-2010, 07:12 PM
As Venus rested on the ground with her eyes nearly closed, she could've sworn she'd heard somebody scream, but she'd shaken it off. She'd probably been hearing things, because if somebody had screamed, the others would've noticed, and they hadn't seemed to.
Just as Venus was almost about to drift off, the Zangoose, Vibrava, Piplup and Cyndaquil returned with a steaming heap of cooked fish.
"These are for everyone!" The Zangoose declared, before everybody dug into the food.
"Thanks for the food, guys." Venus nodded at everyone who had gathered the food. "I'm Venus, just so you know." Venus hurriedly explained, her eyes widening upon approaching the fish. Quickly scanning all of the fish, she picked up a juicy-looking fish with her mouth, before turning and hopping, landing in her original resting place, before taking a big bite into the fish.
"Wow...this tastes amazing!" Venus grinned, before taking another big bite.

Thorn the Roselia
Thorn sprinted through the undergrowth, completely camouflagued. She knew she had to be getting close. It was like an instinct, or a sixth sense. But, her energy was low, and her concentration wavering. She needed a boost of energy. Slowing to a walk, she took in her surroundings. Aipom playing cheerfully. A family of Pikachu tumbling after eachother down an incline, happy and joyful. Bah. It made Thorn feel sick, all this happiness.
Thorn finally spotted a target. A Golem, confused, lost and scared. She stepped into the path, smiling the same wicked smile she had by the Gloom. There was around ten metres between her and the Golem, so she had time. She whistled sharply, grabbing the Golem's attention, raising one arm in front of her. A small seed emerged, and shot at high speed towards the Golem, embedding in it's shell, before growing rapidly, covering the Golem's boulder like body in thick green vines. The Golem was now mad, withdrawing inside it's shell and rolling at high speed towards Thorn, only to be stopped in its tracks as bright red wisps left its shell, entering Thorns red flower, filling her with energy. Thorn smiled again, a small giggle in her throat. Next she raised her arms, and large, thick roots shot from the ground, wrapping tightly around the Golems limbs and slamming him into the floor. He let out a shout of agony, before being cut short as the rest of his energy left in faint red wisps.
Thorn smiled a smile of malice to herself as the roots unwound themselves from the Golem's limbs, leaving his limp body in the middle of the track. She waltzed back into the tall grass and continued sprinting towards her destination - the centre of the forest. She had a job to fulfill.
Ooc: It's fun being evil. Beware, Thorn is getting closer! >:3
Also, Thorn's moves were LEECH SEED, GIGA DRAIN, GRASS KNOT and Leech seeds effect

Thorn = Azula
Tieren smiled at Venus. "I'm glad to see that you like the fish," he said. "By the way, my name's Tieren." After introducing himself, he returned his attention to the meal which lay before him.
The fish had a profound effect of revitalization on Tieren; they were truly delicious. On top of that, he could feel his HP rising as he ate--these fish were of medical value. They could be used like potions to restore the HP of a Pokemon."Guys, this is great!" he exclaimed as he told the others what he had discovered.
"You know," he said, drawing his claws. "As long as we have these to give us our health, why don't we have a practice battle? C'mon, who wants to face me?"
11-10-2010, 10:53 PM
Cynder smiled at Tieren's offer at a practice battle. He did have a point that as long as we have these fish to replenish our health there is no need to worry. "I'm always up for a good battle, count me in!" Cynder joyously exclaimed. She stood up and walked over a few feet away from Tieren but directly in front of him. She gave a determined smile at him. "Alright let's make this a fun battle. I hope you don't mind if I start things off," Cynder stated. She curled up and began speeding towards Tieren. Then she was engulfed in a wave of flames. Her Flame Wheel rushed at Tieren.
"Good luck Cynder! I'll be rooting for you!" Nate exclaimed. Nate did not like to fight but he did battle every now and then. Cynder was a much better at battling than Nate was. Even though battling isn't this best thing to do right now it is productive. We have to be ready for anything out here which includes being attacked. We have to keep our battling in tip top shape to survive out here. Nero's warriors could ambush us or assault us at any given moment... Nate stood up ready to cheer Cynder on.
11-10-2010, 11:06 PM
"Alright!" Tieren cried as he prepared for Cynder's attack. "Good to see some enthusiasm around here!" He tried to dodge the Flame Wheel attack, but the edge of the fire singed his side, causing him some substantial pain, but not enough to put him out of commission.
He was able to react quickly to Cynder's attack with an attack of his own: while Cynder's Flame Wheel was still right beside him, he tackled the fire Pokemon with Close Combat, tackling it with a combination of his larger body and his sharp, brown claws, hoping to do damage that was significant enough to give him the upper hand, even after the powerful Flame Wheel.
11-10-2010, 11:14 PM
It was too close for Cynder to avoid the Close Combat. She was struck by multiple hits, she was senting tumbling. Nate gasped at the sight of Cynder being hit. Cynder wasn't known to give up easily so she dusted her self off and stood up once again. Nate sighed in relief when Cynder stood back up. "That Close Combat of yours is quite a doozy. Let's see what else I can do," Cynder stated. She jumped into the air and fired a stream of mega hot flames. The Flamethrower was sent at full power to Tieren. Nate just stared in suspense of how this would all turn out.

OOC: For those wondering, Ragnl is pronounced Rag-noul. The 'ou' are pronounced very softly.
Ragnl strolled towards the forest with a grin plastered on his face. He was normally seen with his signature grin, as he was a bit crazy, but today, he smiled for a different reason. He was one of the chosen ones to chase after the group of Pokemon that ran away.
Spotting one of the Murkrow guards who was taking a rest, Ragnl walked over, coming face to face with the bird. "Hey you. Seems like you have enough free time to be taking a rest, so go do an errand for me." The Murkrow looked at the Houndour, immediately standing up with a 'Yes sir.' Putting his face closer to the poor guard, he whispered, " Go and find Thorn. She should be somewhere in the forest, chasing after that bunch of runaways. Tell her to wait up a bit, and to not take all the fun for herself. Now GO! With a nod, the Dark type bird flew away in a hurry.
"Well, I guess I better get going and catch up to Thorn, " Ragnl muttered to himself, before racing off into the dark forest.
"It was a mistake to run away, especially from me. Run away like little Bunearies, run all you want, but I will hunt you down..." Ragnl chuckled as his grin widened on his dark grey face. He stopped for a second, sniffing the ground for the scent of Thorn. The scent of the Pokemon who ran away were faint to follow, so instead, he followed the scent of his 'friend'.

Please welcome new roleplayers Dragoniar blizzard and latisiblings as Ragnl the Houndour and Blind the Gabite (respectively)!!
Tieren watched in awe as the beautiful, deadly flames approached him. Fortunately for himself, though, e was able to react quickly enough to escape from the powerful attack, juat barely diving out of the range of the flames. "That was close," he said. Good job, Cynder, but let's see you try to take this! Crush Claw!" Tieren's claws appeared and he approached Cynder, ready for as powerful a slash across the small Pokemon as he could muster, but he stopped himself.
"That was a good battle," he said, retracting his claws. "But I don't think we need to get hurt any more than we already have. Why don't we call it a draw?"

Thorn was easily camouflagued in the bushes surrounding the group of runaways by now. Her energy had come back to her over time, and she was too busy watching the fight that had been only a couple of meters in front of her eyes to notice the Murkrow approach her side. She gave him a death glare when she interrupted her 'studying', which it was in a way. She was finding out how the runaways fought, in case it was needed in the future. That Cyndaquil could be a problem for her. "What is it?!" she hissed in a hushed voice, so as to not draw attention to herself.
"Ragnl has asked for you to wait a short while, until he arrives." the Murkrow replied back in a shaking voice, quite disturbed by Thorn's evilness, though anyone who knew her knew it was natural. Thorn sighed.
"Fine, I guess I can wait for him. Just tell him to hurry. I'm itching to take these guys out."
"Yes, Ma'am." Thorn rolled her eyes. He'd better not take too long, or I might have to start without him... Thorn though as the Murkrow took off, just as the fight came to an end. Her flowers flared once, the smell of poison faintly leaking into the air.

OOC: Don't forget the quotations in "Blind"! xD
IC: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani444.gif "Blind" the Gabite
Being a top-tier General, Nero never did pay much attention to where "Blind" was. And he'll pay for it with his life, hopefully, "Blind" mused silently. The only thing that kept him back from lashing out for his heart was 1) Nero had nearly overkill defenses, even without getting ready for battle 2) His cronies would start using their brains and maul him. As fast as he was, he couldn't get past a literal wall of Pokemon.
"...will hunt you down..."
The voice brought him out of his own thoughts, and his brain processed it as the voice of Ragnl, one of the new Generals. With a start, he remembered that it was Thorn and Ragnl that were given the task of tracking down the renegades. They were quite capable, of course. He would probably be beaten two-on-one, which was no mean feat. He smelled the scent of a Roselia- that would be Thorn- and a Houndour. The Roselia's scent was fading, meaning that she-
"Oh, no..." He muttered, realizing what it meant. With no time to waste, he accelerated, rushing along with the scent. Hopefully, Ragnl did something that would buy him time, such as sending a messenger to wait...

Ragnl halted. Lifting his black, wet nose in the air, the canine sniffed. Various scents rushed to his nose, most of which he didn't pay any attention to. The scent of Thorn's poisonous flowers weren't too far away, along with those belonging to the escapees. Ragnl's grin widened. His prey were close. Just as he lifted up one of his dark grey paws, ready to head over, the sound of wings flapping caught his attention.
"Back already? I though you were lost. So what did Thorn say?"
"She said that she would wait for you, and..." The voice of the Murkrow suddenly paused.
"And?" Ragnl questioned, placing his sharp teeth infront of the Murkrow.
"And she told you to hurry up."
Ragnl chuckled. Of course Thorn would say that. "Well, I better not keep her and my upcoming meal waiting." Without a second glance, the canine charged forwards, heading closer to the clearing in the dark forest.
Slowing down, the dark and fire type trotted closer to the lighter part of the forest. The dark silhouette of a Roselia could be seen very faintly. Placing his yellow belly on the ground, Ragnl silently crept forwards until he was next to the grass type. "I ain't too late am I, Thorn?"

Thorn felt the presence of the other pokémon before she saw it. She was just about ready to fire an attack, when she saw it was one of her fellow teammates, Ragnl, a Houndour. "Hmmm, you took your time," Thorn stated bluntly, returning her gaze to the pokéon in the clearing. "But, you're here now, and that's what matters. Not that much matters at the moment, apart from drawing their blood," Thorn's flowers flared once more, the smell of poison becoming stronger. "Are you ready for a fight?"
Thorn's eyes scanned her soon-to-be opponents. Or, rather, soon to be victims. Her most tough opponent was going to be, for sure, the Cyndaquil and the Vulpix. Obviously, grass and fire types don't mix. But, the Piplup was oviously going to be the first to be taken down. Thorn smiled an evil smile, already plotting her attacks. It was about time she had a wild environment to fight in. Much more... Tactical? No. But, either way, Thorn much more preferred it. It made her harder to see, and that made her even more deadly. Thorn grinned evily.

"Sure we shouldn't get too into this battle, our strength may be needed later," Cynder stated as she walked off back to be with Nate. Nate shuddered as he had the strange feeling of being watched. Nate decided to not to say anything since it could easily be his insecureness just gnawing at him. "Both of you are quite the warriors," Nate complemented. Cynder sighed," Nate your just as strong as I am so quit the compliments. I know you enough to know when you feel less than others," Cynder scolded Nate. Nate just hung his head and swayed back and forth. "I'm sorry...." Nate mumbled. Cynder just rolled her eyes. Same old Nate, he will never change I just wish he would be a bit more confident.... Nate felt a bit apprehensive because the feeling he was being watched began to frighten him a bit. But he just tried to shake it off, to no avail. Cynder noticed Nate was acting a strange but she decided to ask him about it later. "I think we've stayed here a tad too long, maybe we should start moving," Cynder suggested. Nate nodded strongly.
11-13-2010, 09:35 AM
"Of course I'm ready," Ragnl grinned.
The Dark Pokemon raised his head to peek through the gaps in the bush. The Pokemon in the open had just finished a battle, which he could tell from the small burn on the Zangoose's fur, as well as their heavier breathing. Ragnl's own breathing was becoming faster, as the excitement of his upcoming kill was becoming too much. Calming himself down, he started to think.
Looking at the group, Ragnl started to plan. He wasn't usually the type to plan much, often planning a bit and just charging up ahead to the opponent while they weren't looking. But this time, it was different. Both Thorn and Nero will kill me if I mess it up... Those two weren't exactly the friendliest Pokemon he knew.
Resuming what he was doing before, Ragnl looked at the small group. There was a Lairon as well as a Grovyle. Both were weak to fire type attacks, but he had to be careful with the Lairon, as it probably knew ground and rock type moves. Everyone else shouldn't be that hard, other than the Piplup and Vibrava. At least Thorn is a grass type, so she should take those two out pretty fast.
His thoughts of tasting the blood of his 'prey' were interrupted by a sudden smell irritating his nose. It was the poisonous odour from the flowers of Thorn."Is it possible for you to stop that smell? My nose is quite sensitive... the dark-grey Pokemon grumbled. Hope I'm not going to be poisoned because of her.

"I think we've stayed here a tad too long, maybe we should start moving," Cynder suggested.
"You really think so?" Tieren asked. "I'm pretty sure that we completely threw off Nero's assassins when we got into this forest, don't you? I mean, this place is perfect. It's hidden, it's comfortable, and there's plenty of food."
"No, Cynder's right," Dominic offered. "We shouldn't stay here. As long as we're fugitives, we've got to keep moving."
Tieren was visibly frustrated. "But this place is so nice!" he insisted.
"Yes, but we have to go. I already said that. And I feel pretty paranoid right now, so I'm going to fire a Dragonbreath into the bushes, just to make sure that we aren't being watched."
"No, don't do that!" Tieren cried.
It was a few moments before Tieren answered. "...Just don't," he finally said.
Dominic rolled his eyes. "There's no reason for me not to," he said. "So I'm going to do it." Without waiting for Tieren's response, Dominic opened his mouth and let out a powerful, hot stream of Dragonbreath that encompassed all of the bushes around them.

http://pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani315.gif Thorn the Roselia
Thorn just rolled her eyes at what Ragnl said. If he didn't like it, he just had to get used to it. It was while planning her attacks that she heard what the Zangoose was saying to the Vibrava, and the moment that the Vibrava let out his dragonbreath Thorn had leaped forward, over the attack. As she was in the air, several seeds shot forward from her blue flower, one landing on the Vibrava and growing into thick vines around him almost instantly, and another hitting the Zangoose, also bursting into vines. She landed on the ground with a soft thump, glaring evily at the Vibrava. "Mind if I have the next fight?" she asked rhetorically and sadistically, firing a large purple ball of sludge at the Vibrava from her blue flower. She turned to the Piplup as the ball was still flying through the air. "Hello, child." she said wickedly, white wisps leaving her red flower and heading straight at the Piplup.

Was that Grass Knot? I'm gonna assume it's Grass Knot :P
Also, sorry for the impending long post...
Dominic tried to fly away, but he was snared by the vines and effectively glued to the ground. He began sweating as he tried in vain to escape, fluttering his wings rapidly but going nowhere.
"Mind if I have the next fight?" a Roselia asked as she emerged from the shrubbery.
Dominic grimaced at the foe, then yelled out to Tieren. "See? I was right! We should have left when we had the chance!"
"Alright, I'm sorry!" Tieren replied. "Now hold on..." He drew his long, sharp claws, snapping the vines holding him down. He jumped up before they grew back, ran over to Dominic, and freed him from his own ropes.
Dominic instantly flew up and out of reach of the Roselia. He spotted another Pokemon hiding in the bushes-- a Houndour. "Tieren, watch out! That Roselia's not alone!"
Tieren was staring at the Roselia opponent. He didn't break eye contact with the grass-type Pokemon, but he nodded to acknowledge what Dominic had said before turning to the Roselia. "You're Thorn, aren't you?" he asked. "Don't you recognize me? I'm Tieren. I used to work with you as fellow commander under Nero."
Tieren jumped up and tackled Thorn in order to pin her to the ground. Then he looked out her and uttered in a small whisper, "Listen, whether you recognize me or not, know that I'm on your side. I'm going to lead these rebels right back to Nero. Why do you think I didn't want that Vibrava to use Dragonbreath into the bushes?"
Tieren looked at Thorn for a few more seconds. "Alright, forgive me for this, but I need to act like you're the enemy." Tieren lifted one claw and used Slash across Thorn's leafy chest, then jumped backwards.
Dominic flew down to Tieren. "Follow me!" he said.
Tieren nodded and then chased Dominic through the foliage until they were alone. Dominic rested at the ground and prepared a Dragonbreath attack. "Alright, Tieren, you've got some explaining to do. You should've remembered that Vibravas have overdeveloped hearing. I heard everything you just said to that Roselia."
Tieren took a step back. "Dominic," he said in a hushed voice, "I'm trying to trick her! I'm trying to get her to believe I really am on her side so that I can betray her later in a surprise attack!"
"Right," Dominic replied. "If that's true, then why did you tell me not to use Dragonbreath into the bushes? It wouldn't have hurt anything. You didn't even have a reason as to why I shouldn't have done exactly that."
"Because I knew Thorn was there!" Tieren countered, still with a hushed voice. "I wanted it to look like she could trust me if I didn't want you hurting her. Keep in mind that my hearing is pretty good, too."
"But not as good as mine."
"Maybe not, but you weren't listening as closely as I was. You were too busy talking about how paranoid you were."
"Then why didn't you tell me earlier?" Dominic demanded.
"Because that would sacrifice my mission to get her to believe that I'm on her side!"
"I think you were planning something with the Roselia," Dominic retorted.
"Listen, we don't have time for this!" Tieren replied. "You can be as skeptical as you want later, but right now, there's a battle going on! We have to help our friends!"
Dominic gave Tieren an unsure look, then gave him a subtle nod. He flew off to the battlefield, shortly followed by Tieren. "Get ready to face justice!" Tieren cried.
Dominic frowned and rolled his eyes, but shot a Dragonbreath at the Roselia anyways.
Whose side is Tieren REALLY on? :paranoid:
11-13-2010, 11:39 PM
OOC: Actually, it was Leech Seed, ^^
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani315.gif Thorn the Roselia
Thorn was surprised at how easy the enemy broke free of her leach seed, but that bemusement didn't last long, as she was suddenly tackled to the floor.
"Listen, whether you recognize me or not, know that I'm on your side. I'm going to lead these rebels right back to Nero. Why do you think I didn't want that Vibrava to use Dragonbreath into the bushes?" the Zangoose, Tieren, said to her. She just glared menacingly. "Alright, forgive me for this, but I need to act like you're the enemy." the Zangoose raised his hand and sliced her across the chest, drawing blood. Thorn swore to kill him the moment she could, but he jumped up and disappeared behind the bushes. She stood up quickly. Bright red wisps entered her red flower, the cut disappearing with a red glow, the life energy coming from the Piplup she had fired her attack at.
"Ragnl, as much as I am flattered at how you understand I can take these pathetic peasants on by myself, get out here and get in on the action!" she called to the Houndour still waiting within the burning bushes, probably gaining power from the fire.
Turning, she saw another blast of fire coming at her. Another Dragonbreath attack. She pirhouetted around it, only feeling it's heat as it passed by her. She glared evily at the Vibrava, recognizing him instantly as her first victim. She shot another Leech Seed at him, naturally expecting it to hit, as she fired a Sludge Bomb at the Zangoose. She was heavily outnumbered at the moment, about eight to one. But they were completely outskilled, not having fought in the colosseum for three years. "You're fighting a losing battle, y'know?" she mocked, white wisps leaving her blue flower again, headed for the Piplup once more, but it was horribly off target, and would likely miss.
OOC: I hope Mick doesn't mind that the first Giga Drain hit. It does have a 100% hit chance, anyway, so it couldn't necessarily miss. I'm making the second one miss on purpose, as I don't wanna kill him. And, I hope you don't mind Thorn's fighting skill. She has fought against a huge amount of prisoners, escapees, and even Nero himself (Look at my new history for Thorn...), so I think it's safe to assume she has a considerable amount of fighting skill.
11-13-2010, 11:42 PM
OOC:Sorry for the somewhat short post. Not much for me to do now.
As the Dragonbreath raced towards his direction, Ragnl sidestepped, easily avoiding the attack. Thorn was already attack the opponent, but Ragnl took his time. They didn't know he was there, so he could easily pull off a surprise attack. That was, until the Vibrava called to the Zangoose. There goes my plan...
Another Dragonbreath was heading towards Thorns' direction. He jumped forwards, trying to counter with another attack, but it was too late. Thorn was struck by the attack, and yet, looked more of less uneffected. Show off... The canine thought to himself. Turning the attention back to the battle, Ragnl's grin widened. It had been quite a while since the last time he had tasted the blood of his victims. This was going to be a fun battle, but for him of course. He licked his jaw with his pink tongue, at the thought of his kill. His heartbeat was accelerating as excitement flowed through his body. Now the fun going to begin.
"Get ready to be my prey!" Ragnl grinned, as he howled into the sky, making the sun shine bright. Thorn isn't going to be too happy. Oh well, it'll make her Solarbeam charge up faster. The Piplup's water attacks are also going to be weaker, The Houndour though as he opened his jaws once again, but this time, a burst of green energy rushed towards the Vibrava, aided by the effects of Sunny Day.
11-14-2010, 05:04 AM
dragonair blizzard. I was going to have Dominic use Sunny Day so that he could then use Solarbeam. You've played RIGHT INTO MY HANDS...
Dominic was still flying about in the air when the Leech Seeds approached him; a simple Dragonbreath, combined with gravity, sent the seeds falling to the ground.
He looked up at the sky. "Sunny Day!" he cried, but when the effects of the attacks came much more quickly than he had expected, he realized that one of his opponents--the Houndour-- had already used Sunny Day! This is perfect! he thought.
"Alright then, Solarbeam!" he shouted as he did an aerial flip so that his tail was facing the Roselia. The intense sunlight glinted off his diamond-shaped tail-feathers and formed a powerful beam of light, which he aimed straight at the Roselia.
Meanwhile, the seeds that Dominic has shooed away from him rolled on the ground and captured Tieren. This time, they were much more effective; he wasn't able to break the hold they trapped him with.
"Nobody trusts me anymore," he muttered to himself as he tried in vain to draw his claws. "Thorn doesn't believe me and I don't think Dominic does either... this is bad..."

Roselia felt the power of the sun. It wouldn't help her as much as Ragnl, but either way it'd help nonetheless. She took the full brunt of the solarbeam. It stung a little, but Rose kept her cool, merely shaking it off. "Pah. I'm a grass type myself, you can't take me out with my own attacks." she laughed. Red wisps entered her red flower. It was life drained from Tieren. "Now witness a true solarbeam." she spat out, taking a grounded stance. She stretched her arms in front of her. From between her flowers a swirling ball of yellow energy formed. A large beam of the same yellow energy shot out, headed for the Vibrava. Thorn grinned wickedly.
OOC: Don't mistake it as god modding, please. You did just attack a strong grass/poison (I think...) type with a grass attack... That'll be pretty weak on her...
11-14-2010, 05:28 AM
Dominic didn't have a chance to deflect the Solarbeam, so he fired one of his own. He had become so accustomed to charging the attack that he relished in the chance to fire one with sunlight, as the lack of charging made him feel free-- he could react to the opposing Solarbeam with one of his own very quickly.
The two attacks collided with one another before hitting Dominic, but the collision was, in fact, closer to Dominic than it was to the Roselia. Unfortunately, the collision caused an explosion, multiplying the power of what was once nothing more than sunlight by several times.
The explosion encompassed the battlefield, and just before Dominic fainted from the no-longer-grass-type attack, he only hoped that the explosion was large enough to damage the Roselia as well.

Esther collapsed on the path, panting. She ran harder than she ever had in her entire life. Way too hard. "I..I guess we got far enough, don't you think?" The Kangaskhan asked her companion, who was actually nowhere in sight. Guess I left him behind...I hope he's alright... She silently worried, looking back at the direction she had come from.
As expected, she saw Ulysses charging out from the bushes at top speed, sliding down to a halt in front of his much taller friend. "Ne...Next time, wait for me...okay?" He spat as he panted heavily, trying to catch his breath. "S-Sorry, Ulysses." Esther replied back in an apologetic tone. "Slowing down wasn't my top priority at that moment."
"It's no problem, we're just lucky we're alive." Ulysses snorted, looking at his surroundings. "Looks like we got separated from the others. I guess we'll have to go and loo-"
He was interrupted by a sudden loud commotion not too far away. They could only guess that it was a fight. "Looks like we've found them." Esther faintly smiled, moving away towards the direction of the noise, gesturing for Ulysses to follow.
As if the commotion wasn't bad enough, an explosion erupted from the location, smoke rising above the forest's canopy. "Ooooh, boy..."
11-14-2010, 05:51 AM
OOC: XD Oh well, it'll help my attacks as well. And also, have the others quit this roleplay or something?
Ragnl growled as the explosion took place. He dug his claws into the ground to prevent himself from being blown away with the explosion. Thorn had better not faint. I'm going to be at a disadvantage against so many Pokemon. Since the explosion was quite big, it left smoke hanging around the whole area. Ragnl smirked. Now time for me to shine.
The smoke was thick, rendering his eyesight more or less useless. But this didn't mean that his nose was useless either. Placing his nose in the air, the Houndour sniffed. The smell of the smoke was strong, but he could smell the scent of the other Pokemon, including the smell of the Zangoose. Creeping closer, he could see the outline of the white Pokemon. "I've found you," Ragnl snarled, before opening his jaws, releasing a burst of flames straight towards his opponent.

Good question. =/
I might send out a private message asking people who haven't been posting about their commitment level.
Tieren grimaced as the fire type attack hit him right in the face. He was upset that he couldn't do anything about it, as he was pinned to the ground by the Leech Seeds.
However, one interesting side affect of the fire attack was the Leech Seeds-- they had completely burned away. Tieren stood up, dizzy from the fire and the Leech Seeds, which had taken his health away, as well as the large explosion from the collision of the Solarbeams, which had hit him, but not at full blast--he was at the edge of the radius of the explosion, so it didn't do serious damage.
Nonetheless, the fire hurt, and he felt weak from the blow. He didn't feel fit to battle, so he scampered off to find the fish, which were, thankfully, intact. He quickly devoured two of thing, giving him his vitality back.
Among the many things Zangoose were known for was their ability to sneak up on an opponent without them expecting. Tieren sneaked up behind Ragnl and drew his claws to use a powerful attack. "Crush Claw!" he cried as he jabbed the Houndour in the back.
11-14-2010, 06:23 AM
Ragbl smiled as his powerful fire attack hit the opponent straight on. His opponent scampered away, causing the Houndour to frown. "Running away? Its not going to help you." Just as he was about to run after the Zangoose, he heard a sound behind him. Turning around, he saw Tieren with his large claws ready to strike.
Ragnl yelped from the pain as the Crush Claw of his opponent hit him on the back. The attack hurt, but it wasn't enough to stop him.
The sharp claws had pierced through his skin, causing blood to drip down. "Ah... blood. You made me shed blood. My precious blood. You, you'll pay!" Ragnl barked out. He was quite well known in the army, not only because of his brute strength and the fact that he was a bit crazy, but also of the fact that he becomes more or less beserk at the sight of his own blood.
"Faint Attack! Ragnl's body became enveloped with a dark aura. He spun around, tackling his opponent in the stomach

Thorn the Roselia
The blast swallowed Thorn completely. The power of two fully charged, extremely powerful solarbeams colliding would've knocked her back, had it not been for INGRAIN, keeping her rooted. She fell to the floor with a bonecracking thud. The roots drew up a small amount of nutrients, though, and Roselia managed to get up, though very shakily. She tried to look around, yet there was only thick smoke all around, obscuring her vision. Ragnl ran past her, as red wisps entered her flower, giving her a small amount of energy. She, faintly heard the Zangoose shout 'CRUSH CLAW', and headed towards the noise slowly.

Aero fluttered through the air, not knowing which direction he was going, but he knew he was getting away from that dreaded place. It was daytime out, and Aero wasn't used to flying in the sunlight. He felt the harsh heat against his wings. Did it just get warmer? With his supersonic hearing, the Zubat heard an explosion in the distance. Perhaps others were fighting and needed help? What if it was a trap, and the Emperor's assassins were waiting there, creating explosions to lure in the escapees? Aero had to go see, had to help. If he were to be a Crobat, he'd have to make sure people were all right. A thousand or so wingbeats into the foliage, and Aero witnessed Pokemon battling. A bug like Pokemon with green wings. A white, furry, ferocious Pokemon with large claws. A small, odd Pokemon with two flowers for hands. And finally, a black beast with a few red and white markings all over. He recognized the latter two, seeing them in the Colosseum as Nero's henchmen. The Zubat burst out of a tree's canopy and took flight towards the black Pokemon. Adjusting his throat, he began emitting strong sound waves, a Supersonic Attack, in hopes of confusing it.
Trae stood on a nearby tree's branch, his brown skin camouflaging him with the tree's bark. He observed the fight between his sister, Ragnl, and the fugitive Pokemon. Once the two Solarbeams collided, Trae stepped in to help his sister. He jumped out of the tree and landed in between Thorn and the Vibrava, hands pointed toward each other, forming a ball of energy. "You will surrender now!" the Grass Pokemon shouted, about to launch his Hidden Power at the Vibrava. But before he could, and earsplitting noise could be heard, and covering his ears as best as he could, the Nuzleaf saw a Zubat in the air, causing the Supersonic Attack.

And sorry for not posting, I was just thinking what to write when about 10 more posts popped up xD
IC: "Blind" the Gabite
"Blind" grimaced at hearing the Zangoose whispering to his enemy, then his ally. Most Gabites didn't have acute hearing, but then none of them lacked sight either. They... those types were the worst. Ones that instantly manipulate the trust of their friends at the first sight of danger. He made a mental note to eliminate him- but sadly, excluding the Vibrava, every one of them were 'scum of the world', and for his goals, needed to be exterminated.
He didn't react, of course- that would foil his plans. When he heard the explosion, he didn't react. When he heard the Supersonic- now that was a chance. He was waiting for one of the Nero's Generals to faint, but the Supersonic was a better distraction. He thanked whoever used it silently, and while everyone was covering their ears, he launched out of the tree he was hiding in, grabbed the fainted Vibrava, then ran into the tall grass. He hoped that none of them saw him- he didn't like the prospect of Nero opposing him, not yet anyways.
OOC: If you're wondering how "Blind" knew Dominic fainted, I'll update my SU =P

OOC: Sorry for not posting yesterday I was gone all day on a field trip at the renossaince festival....
Nate was hit by the first attack from the Roselia. But he dodged the second easily due to its bad aiming. Cynder ran next to Nate as they usually did whenever big battles would burst out in the city. They would stick things out together no matter what. "Cynder! What do we do?" Nate asked crazily. Cynder looked around to see nothing but smoke. There were only two big enemies at the moment, the Houndour and the Roselia. "We should find a way to clear the smoke! But how?! Cynder exclaimed. Nate pondered for a moment then remembered how they caught the fish. I know what to do!" Nate exclaimed as he jumped into the air. He began glowing an intense light blue color and raised his flippers to the sky. Then a giant mass of swirling water appeared above his flippers. He threw the Whirlpool at the cloud of smoke. The Whirlpool slammed into the smoke and dissolved it. The field was now clear. "Let me was see what I can do about the Roselia," Cynder stated with a chuckle. She fired a stream of hot flame at the Roselia Her Flamethrower was one of her strongest attacks so if it hit a lot of damage would be done to the Roselia. "That means that Houndour is mine," Nate stated. He fired a stream of powerful bubbles that rapidly headed at the Houndour.

The two pokemon burst out of the foliage, pausing a moment to identify the other pokemon. A large number of the pokemon worked as a group, fellow escapees obviously. The other two, most likely Nero's generals. "I'll take the Houndour, you go take the Roselia! Go!" Without another word, Ulysses charged into the battle, horn pointed forwards, intending on knocking the Houndour into next week.
Esther didn't react immediately, she was slightly dazed by the sudden situation they had gotten themselves into. This isn't the time to stand around! She thought out loud, charging forwards, a Flamethrower attack forming in her mouth...

IKE FIGHTS FOR HIS FRIENDS... "BLIND" FIGHTS FOR HIS FRIENDS...
Tieren smiled. The fight is getting larger... I wonder who will win? he thought to himself.
Hmm... I need to find Thorn again. She's going crazy. As the wreckage from the explosion cleared, a loud ringing noise permeated Tieren's ears, and he suddenly became very confused. "Supersonic..." he muttered out loud. "Ughh..." he fell to the ground in pain and dizziness as he covered his ears, trying to remove the effect from the confusing attack, but to no avail.
As he toppled to the ground, he watched as a Rhyhorn burst into the scene to fight the two generals. "Rein...forcements?" he wondered aloud. Suddenly, a Kangaskhan came from behind the Rhyhorn and fired a Flamethrower at Thorn. Tieren laughed with relief, then fainted. The explosion and the Supersonic had become too much to bear.
11-14-2010, 03:00 PM
Venus had just been peacefully resting on the ground as she watched the battle between Tieran and the Cyndaquil, when suddenly, without warning, a Roselia and a Houndour had sabotaged them, causing absolute chaos. Without a doubt, these Pokemon were Nero's minions. And to top it off, even more Pokemon had joined. Venus wasn't sure whether they were on their side or not, but the Nuzleaf definitely was not. And even though she didn't like fighting, she didn't have a choice if she wanted to survive.
"Alright punk, you want a fight, you got one!" Venus roared as she charged forwards, but before the Flamethrower could even properly form itself in her mouth, she was interrupted by a Supersonic attack. Bracing herself, Venus rolled into a tight, compacted ball and waited for the attack to pass. Seconds later, she unfurled, only to see Tieren had fainted.
Should I check if he's okay? Or should I help the others to fight? Venus thought, her eyes racing back and forth from the battle scene to the fallen Zangoose, before quickly deciding to help Tieren. If Nero's minions took him back, there was a chance they could smell the scent of the other Pokemon on Tieren and detect them that way.
"Tieran!" Venus shouted as she raced towards him, shaking him with her paw frantically upon reaching him. "Can you hear me?!"
11-14-2010, 03:12 PM
Tieren jumped back into consciousness for just a few moments. He saw Venus looking over him with a very concerned look in her eyes.
"Tieren!" she shouted. "Can you hear me?!"
Tieren opened one of his hypnotic, blue eyes and gave her a small smile. "I hear you, Venus... I hear you... get me out of here..." With that, his eyes closed and his head fell to the ground, making a resounding -THUNK- noise.
Dominic awakened slightly to see himself being dragged away by a Gabite. He nearly tried to escape, but he knew he didn't have a chance of fighting what seemed to be a perfectly healthy Gabite. He was still weak from the last battle, and not entirely suited for a fight, especially having just fainted.
He noticed that he wasn't being dragged violently, but with care. He tacitly hoped that the Gabite was a friend, or he'd be getting into a fight that was way over a head.
"Who..." he whimpered. He tried to mouth the rest of his sentence, but he was too weak to get his vocal chords to work properly. Instead, he let his muscles fall limp and allowed himself to be dragged along.
11-14-2010, 04:36 PM
"I hear you, Venus... I hear you... get me out of here..." Tieran faltered in reply.
"Get you out of here?" Venus echoed, her forehead knotted in confusion. But how...? Venus wondered worriedly. Would it be okay to just leave the others without warning?
Venus looked up and glanced around. The others were busy in battle, and announcing she was leaving would cause more problems. So, gently biting Tieren, Venus grabbed onto what she hoped was the scruff of his neck, and dragged him deeper into the forest, until she was completely hidden from the others altogether. She just hoped nobody else would surprise attack her...
11-14-2010, 04:48 PM
Cynder saw as Tieren fell, she was about to go help him but Venus had gotten there first. She took Tieren off into the forest. So Cynder now focused on finding a way to help get everyone away from here and well hidden. "If only there was someway to communicate to the others without the Roselia and the Houndour noticing. That way I could use my Smokescreen to give us some cover and we all run off to meet up somewhere," Cynder whispered to Nate. Nate nodded to communicate with your group while in a battle without letting the enemies hear you sounds almost impossible. Nate looked around and saw Dominic was missing. "Cynder! Dominic is gone! What if one of Nero's warriors took him?!" Nate paniced. Cynder turned his head in different directions and saw no sign of Dominic. "I want to go out and find him but we can't just leave the group to go help one person. And we have no way of knowing which way they took him," Cynder explained. Nate knew she was right so he just sighed. Nate just stood ready to defend Cynder and himself.

Aero watched as his Supersonic confused all the wrong people. A few more Pokemon had emerged to help out their comrades. A brown, leafy Pokemon, standing next to the flower one. A large, gray, rocky Pokemon with a horn, and a larger, bipedal Pokemon with a pouch on her gut. He saw a ball of fire spinning rapidly towards the flower Pokemon, Everyone seemed to be occupied, except no one was attacking the new, brown, leafy Pokemon aiding the red and blue flower Pokemon. Aero prepared his fangs as he launched himself towards him, ready to bite down with all his might, and unleash a poisonous hell on this Pokemon.
Trae saw the oncoming ball of fire. A Cyndaquil's Flame Wheel. He readied his Hidden Power, until he noticed something in the corner of his eye. A Zubat was flying towards him, fangs ready to chomp down. Pathetic, Trae thought to himself. With a quick motion of his hands, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke, only to be replaced by some odd, stuffed version of himself. The Zubat's poor eyesight won't be able to tell the difference, and his sounds will bounce it off as me. As long as Trae had the Substitute, he was completely invisible to the Zubat. Swiftly, Trae ran up the side of tree and launched off it, and smacked the Zubat head on with his Quick Attack. Inexperienced. Peh. He said to himself, as the Zubat regained his flight. Trae readied a Hidden Power, as the ball of ice cold energy formed between his hands.
OOC: Just so you know, Trae's Hidden Power is Ice type. ^^"

Nero The Regigigashttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani486.gif:
Nero sat quietly at the throne of the "Stadium of Death," as it was nicknamed, to watch this interesting matchup: A Lucario facing a Wevile. He wanted the Wevile to win, mainly because if the Lucario did, he'd be free. That was the rule Nero put up-if you were a sucsessful Gladiator for a year and faced a final match against a superior oppoment, then you would be free. It was initiative to fight, and Nero wasn't known for lying...a lot.
Why his advisors chose a Wevile-who was extremely weak to all of the Lucario's attacks-was beyond him. If he was free, he'd kill them all.
Why this Wevile was ice-skating around the Lucario was also beyond him. The Wevile did make a sheet of ice to battle with, but the Wevile itself was still severely wounded, meanwhile the Lucario had yet to take one hit. This was starting to look like the Lucario would win...Although the Wevile did have a strange grin on his face...
The Wevile skated by the Lucario...Then, In a quick motion, the Wevile suddenly did an about-face, slicing the Lucario with it's foot during while it turned. The blow he landed was critical...And it was soon followed by another. The Lucario was suddenly on the floor.
Nero was quick to give the thumbs down, but the Wevile was quicker to kill the Lucario, removing his head before Nero even put his thumb out. A resounding roar from the crowd was heard by all attending a few seconds later.
"This one...The Wevile...Who is he?" Nero was eager to obtain another general, and this one looked fit for the job.
The Advisor nearest to him, a Magmotar, was quickest to answer. "Your highness, he is a Gladiator and a criminal, charged with countless murders, and was in the jails long before you were Emperor."
"His name is?"
"His name is Blizzard, your highness."
"Bring him to the Palace. Midnight tonight."
The Magmotar looked shocked at the Idea. He was a murderer, after all. He voiced his answer certainly nevertheless. "I will see to it immediatly, your highness." He left through the curtains behind them.
Nero gestured to the Warden at the other end of the stadium-a signal for him to bring out the next Gladiators.
(Ooc: Compared to the others, it is kind of long, but I'm all alone, with no PC's to talk to.)
11-15-2010, 07:08 AM
Ragnl growled, as the Supersonic attack came. It didn't exactly confuse him, but the screeching sound was unbearable. Because of the distraction, the Houndour didn't notice the two oncoming attacks.
Ragnl's body was hit with the hard stream of bubbles, sending him toppling away, just before the horn of the charging Rhyhorn could make contact with his body. The water type attack, combined with the Crush Claw from before were taking a toll on his body. Most of his health were drained away, but that didn't stop his will to fight.Where's Thorn when I need her? Ragnl wondered, looking for the Roselia. Noticing that she was only a few steps away, Ragnl forced his body to move over. Thorn! Get up and help me out! he barked at the other general.
Standing up on his unstable legs, the canine stood infront of the grass type general, taking the oncoming stream of fire from the small, fire mouse. His body was getting weaker by the second, even from an attack that was not very effective. He couldn't stay in the battle for much longer. As the fire died away, Ragnl smiled wickedly. His body was engulfed in a red aura. His Flash Fire ability had kicked in.
Another Flamethrower hit his body, but this time, from a Kangaskhan. This time, when the flames hit his body, he felt no pain. Thanks to his ability, he could no longer be damaged by fire type attacks. Ha! That didn't hurt! Pathetic attacks of yours. Now, its my turn! Ragnl snarled, dripping blood from him wounds and mouth. Time for his revenge. He opened his dark grey jaws, firing out a blast of fire in the shape of a five sided star. Aiming his Fire Blast at the Kanghaskhan, Ragnl hoped that it would hit. And Thorn better get up and help me out. The Piplup and Rhyhorn really arn't Pokemon I can take on now.

IKE FIGHTS FOR HIS FRIENDS... "BLIND" FIGHTS FOR HIS FRIENDS...
You, my good sir, win a virtual cookie. xD
But you know, I don't know if "Blind" has any friends, to be honest.
IC: "Blind" the Gabite
He sensed a slight tremble from the Vibrava, meaning that he -or she, he hadn't checked yet, had he?- was awake at last. It didn't seem like the others left behind were going to die either, as he felt panic from both of the Generals. Most of the emotions he could detect accurately were negative, like panic or fear. Maybe it was because those were instinctive emotions? He wondered to himself, not paying attention to the nearly impossible speed he was going at.
They had finally arrived. A cave bigger than a Wailord was in front of them, giving off an aura of slight... evil. It was unnaturally dark inside, even with the daylight shining. The darkness within seemed to consume all light, and with it, positive emotions.
"Not bad, huh?" He asked the weakened Pokemon that he laid down next to him. "The place is one of a kind. Few of the only Magic Caves left in this world- that we can reach, anyways. It'll be the best place to train, at any rate. Your energy will restore faster here, and you'll strengthen faster, too. Of course, none of this is without a cost." He finished mysteriously.
"Oh, and don't worry about your allies"- he used the word 'ally' to call the Vibrava's companions, which obviously didn't go unnoticed- "They're alive."
11-15-2010, 10:10 PM
Dominic became much more alert upon being placed in the cave. He found himself able to stand up on all four of his legs, but he couldn't fly quite yet.
He looked at his savior, whose eyes were closed, even though the rest of his facial expression indicated that they might be open. It was a Gabite, and it seemed fairly benevolent. "Who are you?" Dominic asked. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude. Before I ask that, I should thank you for saving me. I could have died out there if you hadn't evacuated me... I'm also glad to hear that my friends-- allies, I guess-- are okay."
Energy began flowing into Dominic's body very quickly, but he couldn't identify why. Incidentally, he glanced deeper into the cave, but it was so black that what should have been alight was out of sight, almost as if there was a black haze inhabiting the cave. "You're sure that this is a good place?" he asked. "It looks pretty scary to me," he continued, unaware of his savior's disability.
I'll post as Tieren later tonight. Right now, I'm really damn hungry and my writing will probably suffer because of it.
11-15-2010, 10:57 PM
Ulysses skidded to a halt, slightly damaging the ground as he did so. His eyes widened as he saw the Fire Blast head straight for Esther, who seem immobilized in shock. "Esther!" He roared, charging again, this time not towards the Hounder, but to hopefully take the hit of the fire attack.
Esther was shaking, she had frozen up. Why? She couldn't figure out why, standing here trying to think about it wasn't going to-
Ulysses leaped in front of the attack, taking force of it, but being Ground and Rock type gave him the advantage of not being too damaged by it. Before being able to say anything, Esther was interrupted by Ulysses saying: "Thank me after the fight." He muttered under his breath, before rushing off into battle again, this time aiming to ram into the small Roselia...
Esther felt a wave of courage flow through her, subconsciously she began charging a powerful Double-Edge attack. She roared and charged towards the Houndour, her eyes focused on the target.
11-15-2010, 11:30 PM
How could I have been fooled so easily? Aero thought after biting into the Substitute and then being attacked from the side. Shooting soundwaves around the area, he scanned his surroundings once again. The brown Pokemon he was fighting was charging up a blue ball of energy. What is that? he wondered, but before he could find out, a large beast, the one with horn, charged underneath him towards the two Pokemon. Aero thought it'd be best to try and help, and he and he dove after the gray Pokemon, catching up and flying at the same speed it was charging.
About to fire his Hidden Power at the Zubat, Trae noticed a Rhyhorn headed straight for his sister. "Oh no you don't." He said, firing the Hidden Power at the Rhyhorn, and quickly fired another for the Zubat following it. He stood in front of Thorn, prepared to protect her at any cost.
11-16-2010, 02:14 AM
Nate watched as his attack had landed perfectly onto the Houndour, but he felt a sick feeling in his stomach. Nate didn't like fighting and it was now getting to him. He knew as long as he felt this guilt because of the pain he was causing it would be his downfall. "Cynder we must find a way out of here, please!" Nate cried. Cynder nodded and tried to think of a way to get out of here safely. She would just have to take a chance. "Nate I will launch a Smokescreen that will give everyone cover. We will run together in any direction to safety. We will not let go of each others' hands no matter what," Cynder stated forcefully. She took Nate's flipper in her hand as she took a very deep breath. She unleashed a big, thick, black cover over the field. Nate and Cynder ran deep into the forest area as far as they could. They continued onward sprinitng to find some sort of shelter. I hope all the others take this chance to escape safely... Well Nate and I are safe but the others...I do hope they are okay...They went deep into the forest and stumbled upon a cave. It was a huge cave. In the cave there was Dominic and a Gabite. "Cynder look its Dominic! Is that one of Nero's warriors keeping him captive?" Nate asked. Cynder saw that Dominic did not look threatened by the Gabite so she saw no reason to be alarmed. "Dominic! Are you okay?!" Cynder asked worriedly. Nate and Cynder slowly approached the two pokemon.
11-16-2010, 01:49 PM
IC: "Blind" the Gabite
"Maybe I wasn't infamous enough to be known by sight. I believe I'm familiar with you, though- the only 16 years old renegade Vibrava I know of is one called Dominic, kidnapped son of a wealthy but minor politician. If you think hard enough, you might recognize me.
"As for your second question, we won't be going inside the cave. The cave's magic will keep us warm during the night, even when we're outside of it, and we don't want to meet the source of the magic." "Blind" let nothing more slip. If he knew what kept him energized... For now, ignorance was bliss.
"Dominic! Are you okay?!" (OOC: sorry if I got the wrong color... I'm somewhat color-blind...)
"Be silent." He commanded the other Dragon fiercely.
He turned around to face the source of sound. "Ah, you are that Vibrava's ally? In that case, I'll make a deal... You two beat me, I'll let him go free. If I beat you, I'll kill him. How's that?" He said, putting on a completely different face from just a few seconds before.
11-16-2010, 09:22 PM
Dominic gasped, ignoring the Gabit. "Who are you!?" His energy completely regained because of the effects of the cave, he took flight into the sky. "Are you an ally or a foe? You saved me, but now you're threatening to kill me! I don't know who you are, but you evidently know quite a bit about me... ugh!"
Dominic flew almost directly upwards until he was well out of range of any Pokemon. Just as he was an inscrutable dot in the sky, he couldn't make out the exact identities of the Pokemon below him. The only thing he could see was the color, but unfortunately, all three Pokemon had blue backs.
He thought for a little while, then took a nosedive. As soon as he could make out the individual Pokemon, he started aiming for the Gabite until he was close enough to make contact with his Fly attack.
He nearly struck the blue dragon Pokemon, but veered off at the last second so that he could Dominic hover above Cynder and Nate a few feet away. "Listen, I don't care if you had a plan, but I don't like death threats. As the son of a politician, I've received enough of those. I have to get back to my friends, who are probably in some serious danger, and you can come with us if you don't intend to kill me. For now, though, I don't have time for any games."
Tieren awoke to see Venus, who seemed very worried. Looking around, he noticed that they weren't anywhere near the battlefield, which reassured him, as he still felt fairly weak. "Venus..." he said. "Help me find some food. After we eat, we can plan a surprise attack on those terrible followers of Nero. Maybe we can take them out when they least suspect it..."
He turned away to begin looking for food. In the bush beside him, there were a few bright red berries, but he wasn't sure if they were poisonous or not. While he was immune to poison, it was only the venom of Seviper that he was immune to, and he was very careful by nature. "Hey Venus," he called. "Vulpix have good senses of smell, right? Can you tell if these berries are poisonous or not?"
11-16-2010, 10:28 PM
Nate and Cynder took a surprised face as the Gabite changed from peaceful to threatening in a mere blink of an eye. "Come on Dominic we must get you healed up if we are to be of any assistance to the others. Some food may be able to help," Cynder explained as she turned to walk away.. Nate glared at the Gabite as he turned to walk away. "Dominic are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?" Nate asked worriedly. Cynder and Nate began walking out of the cave. I wonder why the Gabite was so quick to change.... Cynder's back flared up in flames in anger at how the Gabite threatened to kill Dominic. If it had been Nate, she would have attacked him right then and there. No one can be trusted out here...he must be one of Nero's warrirors then...if so we probably haven't seen the last of his face... "We should also check on Tieren because he was fainted in battle. Venus took him somewhere to safety but they could've been attacked. I hope they are okay," Nate suggested.
11-16-2010, 11:05 PM
IC: "Blind" the Gabite
"Blind" mentally kicked himself. It looked like he overdid it on the 'death threat-making evil guy' act. Then again, it could help with his plan, on the long run...
"Why, aren't you grateful Dominic," "Blind" said sardonically, "after all, I did save your life back there, did I not? Since I saved it...
It should be my right to take it away again." He charged up a cloud of malevolence on his right claw- Shadow Claw.
"If you wish to know my identity... En garde!" With that, he lashed out suddenly at them.
OOC: sorry if it's short...
11-16-2010, 11:23 PM
Nate and Cynder sensed that the Gabite was slashing at them. Nate swiftly turned around and shot out a blue beam of freezing energy at the Gabite. Cynder let loose a stream of burning flames. The Ice Beam and Flamethrower sped towards the Gabite side-by-side. Both very strong attacks that could do damage, especially the Ice Beam. They stood their ground in front of the Gaibte, they also stood in a defensive position in front of Dominic who was hovering above them. This creep just doesn't give up and what does he want with Dominic... No pokemon has the right to decide who lives and who doesn't... Cynder's flame on her back burned intensley.

Nero The Regigigashttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani486.gif:
Nero sat in his throne in the Palace and was keeping time. It was almost midnight. He looked at the Magmotar advisor to his right.
"Where is he?" Nero asked him. If he messed up, he would crush him.
"Your highness, he will be here shortly."
"It is almost midnight."
"Your highness, if they fail to bring him on time, I will arange that-"
"It is Nero's will that he be here, and if he is not, you will face his wrath!" Nero said with contempt.
"Your highness, he is here!" The advisor pointed torwards the other end of the hall, pointing at the two Rhyperior and the lone Wevile that were there. The trio approached Nero, with the Rhyperior carrying the Wevile. He was a prisoner, after all. They set him down in front of Nero, and made a hasty departure from the hall.
The time was exactly midnight. The advisor was safe...for now. The advisor left the room as well, leaving Nero and Blizzard alone.
"You, Blizzard, stare upon the glory that is Nero, the Emperor of PokeRome!" Nero said to Blizzard. His voice aroused his own glory.
"Yes, and you are glorious indeed. Hail the Emperor!" Blizzard said back. The lack of a "Your Highness" ticked Nero off, but the praise Blizzard gave him was enough that Nero didn't kill him for disgracing his name.
"You, Blizzard, have commited many a crime, and have been imprisoned long in Nero's dungeons!" Nero said to Blizzard. His tone was one to inspire.
"Yes, and I have well deserved it. Hail the Emperor!" Blizzard replied. Nero figured that "Hail the Emperor" was a substitute for "Your Highness."
"However, You, Blizzard, are being offered Redemption by Nero the Emperor unto himself!" Nero said to Blizzard. His voice ringed with importance.
"Yes, and I-Your highness, I pardon?" Blizzard wasn't so ready that time. A criminal like him, being offered redemption? Had they swapped shoes, Nero wouldn't have expected it either.
"You, Blizzard, are to assist in the capture or killing of the Gladiators that escaped when that filthy Toxicroak rebelled against Nero!" Nero said to Blizzard. His tone emphasised the importance of what Blizzard would be partaking in.
"I understand my duties, and will gracefully execute them! Hail the Emperor!" Blizzard was grinning. If Nero had an actual mouth, he would have too.
"Go to the Armory, and say that Nero has requested the finest armor and weapons that they have!" Nero said to Blizzard. His voice was vigorous and strong.
"I will do so immediatly, Your Highness! Hail the Emperor!" Blizzard was grinning even wider. Nero knew it was the chance to escape the Jail cells that spurred this Pokemon onward. Blizzard left the room, Leaving Nero to himself.
(Ooc: I'd like to include a sign-up for Blizzard, if it isn't a hassle. Again, It's long, but I'm alone.)
11-17-2010, 08:21 AM
Ragnl growled at the charging Kanghaskan. His body was too weak from the multiple attacks to move, so he simply braced himself for the attack.
The sturdy body of the brown Pokemon slammed into his own, dark grey one. The Houndour was sent tumbling a few meters away. Darn, I'm going to be punished for this loss. Ragnl grimaced from both the pain and the thought of being punished.
His concious was slowly fading away. His vision was blurry as well, but he refused to be defeated. "You, you're all going to regret this! No matter how strong you are, we have more on our side than there are on ours! You will never be free! Ragnl growled with the last of his strength. There was blood in his mouth, as well as various other places that were scratched as he had tumbled along the ground, slowly draining away his energy.
No longer able to keep his eyes opened anymore, his head fell on the ground. He had fainted, with no more energy to keep on fighting for both Nero and his bloodthirst.
11-17-2010, 02:27 PM
OOC: I might do another character soon... But he/she will be more of a comic character if I do ever make one.
IC: "Blind" the Gabite
He could sense them. He could feel their anger. He detected no hints of fear, of panic, of terror.
Avoiding the Ice Beam, he stepped into the Flamethrower, burning his right claw. His claw still on fire, he slashed at the nearby tree, spreading the blaze. Pain was something he got used to, and it wasn't as if it was a really strong fire attack. He concentrated on ground below him, then smashed his left foot down, creating an Earthquake. Not giving them the time to react, he charged a Dragon Claw and rushed at the Cyndaquil at the speed of a Ninjask, intending to uppercut Him on the lower belly.
"Tell me..." He said, smirking. "What do you fight for?"
11-17-2010, 10:32 PM
Thorn the Roselia
Thorn gave her head a few shakes, clearing it. She had seen the two fire attacks and had froze. Now, she was ready. As Ragnl hit the floor, Thorn pushed Trae out of the way. "Trae, no!", she screamed, worrying for her little brother's life. As soon as he was out of the way she raised one green arm, the red flower glowing brightly. She had a couple of seconds before the Kangaskhan and Ryhorn knew what was happening. A ball of swirling yellow energy formed in the centre of the flower, and steadying her aim with her other hand she shot forward a beam of solar energy. As it raced towards her enemies, both of which were probably unaware of what was happening, Thorn laid down some roots. She'd need as much energy as possible to survive another close range SOLARBEAM, and her INGRAIN would help.
Ooc: I'm on the Wii... So no fancy icon or colors, sorry.
11-17-2010, 11:02 PM
Nate and Cynder had jumped high into the air as to avoid the Earthquake. The Gabite came rushing at Cynder. To Nate it felt as if it were all unfolding in slow motion. He used his Aqua Jet to speed in front of Cynder taking the Dragon Claw's hit for Cynder. Just before Nate was hit he said,"I fight for my friends,". He was sent flying, then slamming into a tree. "Nate! No!" Cynder cried. She turned to face the Gabite directly. She charged at full power as a sphere of burning hot flames. She was going faster and stronger than any time before. The Gabite was right in front of her so it would be almost impossible to miss, so the odds were on Cynder's favor. Nate struggled to rise to his feet, but he wearily did so. Nate was panting softly in pain. Thats one good Dragon Claw that freak has, but I can't let Cynder fight him on her own I must keep fighting... Nate blasted a beam of bubbles at Gabite. Nate's ability Torrent was taking action. The Bubblebeams power was glowing an intense and dark blue color. This attack was mighty powerful. As Cynder was engulfed in a sphere of flame charging at the Gabite she yelled,"I fight for my friends too, like Nate, Dominic, Tieren, and Venus!".
11-18-2010, 12:34 AM
Ulysses was hit hard by the ice attack, which sent him rolling across the ground. Being part Ground, this of course knocked him unconscious, unmoving in the grass.. After defeating the Houndour finally, Esther rushed over to Ulysses, trying to get him to wake up. "I can't carry you, Ulysses, come on!" She growled under her breath, now simply trying to drag him.
From the corner of her eye, she has the Roselia, who's red rose was glowing. Esther pondered waht she could be doing, but she realized far too late.
The beam of energy hit both pokemon directly, knocking Esther clear off of her feet, which in turn made her drop Ulysses back to the ground. She was injured- couldn't move. At least, not much.
Where was everyone...?

"I fight for my friends," the Piplup had said before going off flying, taking the blow for his friend. His eyes widened with shock when he heard the words. Was it possible that they really believed that? His actions... They came from the heart after all. He grinned satisfactorily.
"A good answer," he said, smiling genuinely for the first time. Now, it was time for the final test.
He allowed himself to be hit by the Flame Wheel. It was more powerful than he imagined, knocking him over to the side. A perfectly placed Bubblebeam then hit him directly, causing him to gasp in surprise. Even though the attacks weren't super effective, the power of emotion overpowered his natural defensive typing. He was knocked off to the ground, powerless but not unconscious.
"Go ahead... Kill me... Do I not deserve it?" He asked, coughing some blood. (OOC: sorry for bunnying Mick... But it was somewhat necessary because this reaction would make your post abnormally short)
The Cyndaquil hesitated, and it was all he needed to jump up and knock him down.
"This is why you never let down your guard until your opponent has fainted," "Blind" said seriously. "Now, get up. We have some training to do, and the fire I created before will hopefully attract some of your allies."
OOC: again, sorry for the bunnying. If you don't like it, I'll edit it.

OOC: Its fine just don't bunny me like hugely. And if you must do this kind of bunnying in the future VM me.
Cynder had hesitated and was knocked down to the floor. Nate was enraged by this, he began glowing a dark blue color all around his small body. He rose his flippers upwards and a swirl of water appeared above him. He let loose a Whirlpool at the Gabite. Cynder tried to stand up but then ended up kneeling on the floor. She launched a flamethrower which combined with Whirlpool. It was now a twister of water and fire heading towards the Gabite. "We won't train with the likes of you! Now leave us alone!" Nate shouted in anger. Nate then rushed over to Cynder's side. Cynder slowly stood up with a little help from Nate. "Training doesn't involve threatening to kill others' friends! We must go we have pokemon to help! Dominic let's go!" Cynder exclaimed. Nate and Cynder began to walk away.

Dominic stared at the Gabite with an expression made partly of respect, partly of pity, and partly of fear. "Look, I don't understand you. I don't know your name, but you know mine. I'm not sure what to think of that, but I don't want you attacking my friends, even if you only meant to do so for training purposes. If you really do want to help me, then you'll follow me to the scene of a battle where many of my other friends are in quite a bit of trouble, because right now, I don't have the time to train. I thank you for helping me when I needed it, and I appreciate your offer to train us, and I can't accept it right now. Later, I'd love to, but now is not the time."
With that, Dominic turned around and flew away without waiting for a response from any of the three Pokemon nearby.
In a few minutes, he was at the battle-- it was not difficult to find, for the sounds of the fray could be heard from afar. He saw that the Houndour had fainted, but Venus and Tieren were nowhere to be found, which gave him a substantial amount of worry. Oh my goodness, I really hope that Tieren hasn't kidnapped Venus... what if he really IS evil? Venus could be in some serious trouble...
He cleared his mind and focused on what was at hand-- there was a very strong, very smart, and very evil Roselia leading the fight for Nero's side. Though she was outnumbered, the grass-type Pokemon was maintaining a powerful offense.
Dominic thought for a little while and finally decided what he would do. While Ulysses and Esther were distracting the Roselia with attacks of their own, Dominic flew into the sky and dove with the speed and silence that should be expected from a Vibrava-- though Vibrava were famous for their loud buzzing, they only did so as a defense mechanism, and they could be as quiet as a Noctowl hunting a Rattata if the situation called for it.
With precision, speed, and deadly silence, Dominic's Fly attack came closer and closer until he was finally in range to strike the Roselia, which he did as hard as he could.

Nero The Regigigashttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpiconani/dpiconani486.gif:
It took a while, and it wasn't worth it, either, as no armor would fit Blizzard.
Shame. He'd go without protection.
Nero and Blizzard left the palace, and the city, with an army in tow. Their direction was heading towards where Nero killed the tratior Toxicroak.
They were there at dawn. it was a beautiful sight, but Nero wasn't interested in it. He was looking at the now-decaying body of the Toxicroak.
"Filthy beast. His death by Nero's godly hands was undeserving."
"Understandably so, your highness." Blizzard was quite complementary.
Nero turned his body torwards the army, and put some inspiring language into his voice. "When Nero and his army find the rouges...They will rip their throats out, for the Emperor!"
The army responded with equal initiative. "For the Emperor!"
"Nero and company must find the other generals first! They will be where the filthy tratiors are hiding! The filthy tratiors, that would defy the name of Nero the Emperor!"
The army responded with equal vigor. "For the Emperor!"
One could say this was a inspiring moment. The sun peaked over Nero's body, casting a bright light onto Nero's army. Nero used this to his advantage. "The sun rises from it's slumber-a sign that Arceus himself approves of the death of the tratiors, and Nero's reign of PokeRome! Let this symbol of light and justice last FOREVER!! Do not fail Nero the Emperor, or Arceus the Creator!"
The army yelled a vicious battle cry. Nero lied, actually. Arceus wanted Nero dead. The only Pokemon alive that wanted someone dead more was Nero-who wanted the tratiors dead.
"ONWARD!!!" Nero called to his troops, facing the direction where he felt the Generals were.

Nate and Cynder followed Dominic back to the battle scene. The evil Roselia was still there, her presence was intimidating. Nate and Cynder stopped in their tracks at the sight of her. Nate turned to the fainted Ulysses and Esther. "Cynder look they're hurt!" Nate exclaimed. Cynder gasped at the sight of the two damaged pokemon. Instinctly Nate and Cynder dashed off to the side of Ulysses and Esther. "They've both taken serious damage but they'll be okay," Cynder explained. Nate knew that Nero's warriors were the obvious to blame for this. "They're both too heavy for us to carry out of the battle field. Our only option is to protect them and take out the enemies," Nate stated. Cynder nodded in agreement. Cynder fired a Flamethrower at the Roselia. It was an intense stream of burning fire. Nate used his Ice Beam to put a wall of ice in front of Ulysses and Esther. He then fired a powerful Bubblebeam at the Roselia. As soon as we take care of the Roselia we must find Tieren and Venus. Then we must run far away from here... Where could Tieren and Venus be? I hope both of them are fine. Or maybe they have both run off to safety. I don't really know how I would feel if they did ditch us and run off. I don't know, as long as they're alive it's fine by me...

In short: he screwed up. Like he did about ten times before.
It always turned out like this. This so-called 'wisdom' that Celebi has cursed him with was nothing more than shallow cunning. Effective in war, but useless in peace. Craftiness could never create trust.
He stabbed his claws into his arms. The pain was satisfying, in some bizarre way that only he could understand. He vowed to gain their trust. And for once, he would gain wisdom.
After having his arm healed magically by the Cave, he started to run. No, more like dash. The only way that they'd trust him again was only if he did something drastic. Like taking out the General, for instance. He was somewhat shocked to feel her nearly defeated when he arrived behind a bush. And the Vibrava- no, he decided. He should call him Dominic- was going for the finish with a Fly. If he missed or she detected him, he would provide backup. If he did finish her off, he would reveal himself and be honest, just for this once. It was a win-win either way.
He waited, attentive as ever.
OOC: Darn it Mick, I was just starting to write when you finished! Oh, please don't tell me I have to write it out again...

OOC: Coddleflop; Sorry for any bad Grammar, it's probably all mine. And you might get whiplash from the two characters on one post. :P
Mightydes; Yea, we decided to combine our posts to play out the attacks more effectively. Enjoy. :3

Trae noticed the oncoming Vibrava about to strike his sister, it's wings making as little sound as a Rattata running through a meadow. Thorn herself was a bit confused herself at what to do with the several attacks coming at her at one time from two directions. "No!" Trae shouted in worry, swiftly jumping in the way, taking the hit for her, wincing at the pain. Thorn pirhouetted around Trae to take the fast approaching fire and water attacks.
"Trae!" Thorn shouted shrilly, distracted as the impact knocked him back, and he lay on the ground. Both of the elemental attacks joined together, but fizzled, with only a small amount of fire hitting Thorn, but enough to damage her quite a bit nonetheless. "You'll pay." Trae said malicely with a sinister look in his eyes at the Vibrava.
"I agree." Thorn said spitefully.
Trae's eyes met Thorn's, and he nodded, rushing towards the Vibrava at tremendous speed with a Hidden Power charging up in his hands, Thorn running alonside him. He fired it off at the Dragon Pokemon, then grabbed Thorn's hands and spun around, tossing her into the air, following the crackling ball of ice. Thorn was spinning gracefully, a swirling blue ball of energy charging up in her red rose. It fired after the previous attack, as Thorn followed it, her rose glowing with a slight green tinge, her skin smoldering slightly as the burn took effect. Thorn winced slightly, but remained focussed.
As Thorn twirled through the air, attacking the Vibrava, Trae created a dark ring of energy, the light draining from around it as it literally emitted a sense of evil and hatred. He launched it at the Piplup and Cyndaquil duo, after he saw them tending to the injured Rhyhorn and Kangaskhan. They would be completely vulnerable to the evil attack.
Coddleflop; Sorry about the 'fizzling away' thing, but in real life if fire and water meet all that happens is a fair bit of steam. But, I still let myself get attacked :P
Also, it's a Hidden Power Water that she fired, and is about to fire Razor Leaf.
Mightydes; Trae's dark ring move is Dark Pulse.
11-21-2010, 03:50 AM
The Dark Pulse was approaching Nate and Cynder fast so they had to act swiftly. Nate fired his Bubblebeam at the Dark Pulse. It had not hit in time to completley stop the attack, it only reduced the damage. Nate and Cynder were hit by the dark surge of energy left after the Bubblebeam had struck the Dark Pulse. They grunted in pain as they took the hit, the attack left a dark aura surrounding Nate and Cynder. Nate kneeled abit as he began to feel light headed, he just shook it off for if he fell it could be his last slumber."Leave Roselia to me! Nate you handle the Nuzleaf!" Cynder exclaimed as she charged at the Roselia. She then became engulfed in a wave of flames as she spun at the Roselia. The dark energy from the attack still lingered on Cynder, due to this she was a dark flame sphere about to slam into the Roselia. Nate was a tad woozy but he pretended nothing was wrong. His beak grew in length and began glowing brightly. He charged at the Nuzleaf, readying to pierce him with his Peck. His long glowing beak became a dark spear once it fused with the dark residue from the earlier Dark Pulse. Why can't they just leave us alone?! We did nothing wrong to their dictator Nero! They are stupid to follow such an evil pokemon! What do they fight for? Some stupid king who only seeks to kill! How can they fight to end the lives of others! These are sick and cruel pokemon! We fight to keep ourselves safe and they fight to kill...

Ragnl's eyes slowly opened once again. All the commotion had woken the recently fainted Houndour. Urg... Whats with all the noise?
Looking around, he noticed that the fight was still going on. Thorn was once again up and running, along with her Nuzleaf brother. Looking around, he noticed the Rhyhorn and Kanghaskhan who had hurt and defeated him. Ragnl smirked. Hah, they got what they deserved, he chuckled to himself. He resumed looking around the clearing. The two grass types were currently putting up a fight against Nate and Cynder, the Piplup and Cyndaquil. Domanic was also nearby, but his Zangoose and Vulpix friend were nowhere to be seen. Maybe they're dead somewhere.
Ragnl tried to stand up, but his body was still very weak from before. He growled in fustration, but then an idea came up. If he pretended he was still unconcious, he could make a surprise attack. With the idea in mind, Ragnl lowered his head and half-closed his eyes, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

OOC: this is going to be short cuz I'm tired...
"Blind" felt a tingle, as if someone woke up from sleep. The enemy? He wondered, but he was given no time to think as the fight intensified. There were two Generals now- couldn't tell who the other one was, though. He did feel the Fly connect, so he assumed that it was the Roselia that was hit. Deciding this was the perfect time to appear, he jumped out of the bushes, firing a Fire Blast (blatant pun FTW) at the Grass Pokémon.
