The flow of time brings with it many things. Revolution and innovation, bliss and despair, life and death. So many elements connected by a central point few care to notice in a world full of seeming inconsistencies. But all things are related, in ways most do not or will not understand.

A continent of the West makes this apparent. On this landmass, several different species, connected deeply yet separated by large bounds from each other. Few records exist of the time before Humans became dominant on this continent of the world; oral traditions aren't shared, and most have ascended to mere myth save for those written by the Humans. Under the banner of a family by the name of Harribel, whose leading man and woman were practitioners of the magic of light and darkness, an empire was forged from a settlement in what is now a grand castle. Those that did not join with them were forced into hiding or killed off entirely, and only three small groups remained neutral during this time. Over the course of ten years, what had been a land ruled by lawlessness had been subjected to a brutal takeover, creating order amongst the Human factions for the first time.

Revolutions of that magnitude happen only once in a century, but progress does not stand still for such to happen. Between the one hundred and twelve years that have passed since that time, much has changed. The Human empire has entered the age of industry, and the introduction of guns to their militia has added to their strength, being mixed with training in archery, fencing and other military strengths. The steam engine allows ships to travel against the winds, the new heavy steel of the hull prevents them from being tossed about in the terrible winds created by Cyclos, and the canons mounted on them make them formidable even to the monsters dwelling in the deep. But revolution always occurs when things seem to be going perfectly for those in charge, but terribly for those beneath them.

Angered by the poor treatment of their fellow citizens, a group of knights within the royal guard have broken away from their duties and formed an alliance of dissidents and criminals willing to overthrow the current government. Following an ill-handled epidemic determined to be caused by someone with experience in medicine, a resurgence of species previously thought extinct, and increasingly troubling rumors surrounding the royal family itself, the rebellion has come at one of the worst possible times. Unknown to the revolutionaries, the reasons for these actions is merely because the alternatives would be far, far worse; their attempts to reconcile with the races they previously pushed into hiding is met by violent riot from the people of the cities; the quarantine of a small town for an outbreak of a deadly disease with no name, offering no assistance to the infected of the town for fear of it spreading through the rest of the kingdom, and the apparent death of the king's son go unexplained to the outside world, the truth known only by a select few, forbidden to breathe a word of it.

As revolution boils, however, more distressing rumors continue circulating through the Western continent; the activities of thieves, murderers and rapists have been emboldened; the advancing technology and magic has been turned to malicious use; the world as most know it is teetering on the brink of collapse. Forgotten by most are the old gods of the world, and though most are not concerned with the lack of remembrance, several have turned their hatred against Humanity, Chaos stirring violence in all, Misery filling the hearts of the otherwise satisfied, vengeance being wrought upon those who have done nothing. However, those absorbed in their anger don't see a much larger threat brooding on the horizon; a terrible legion beyond the reach of the steam ships of the Harribel family, planning to conquer the land lying across the seas, against whom the royal army is preparing to hold off. This story is concerned less of them and more of the heroes who will be forged in this time; those who will save the world they know from certain destruction, or those who will lead it to ruin. Only time will tell what strands of fate will be intertwined, time which waits for none to respond to its call...

The world:
Please consult this map for general locales. (http://dalek-master.deviantart.com/#/d2pf2cr) Many more cities exist in the known world than this; feel free to place and name them as you please. Keep in mind that the world has just entered the industrial age; the most advanced weapons are canons and guns with more than one shot. The most advanced technology would be the steam ships and other steam-powered devices being built. Railways have not yet been invented, either. Magic is also powerful in this world, though most are unable to learn how to use it from lack of interest of being cut off from the knowledge to do so.

Noteworthy Races:

Humans: The dominant force, Humans are usually considered by other races to be favored by the gods. Their physical and magical capabilities can range from average to amazing, and their ingenuity allows them to work with situations most other races would have no idea how to quell. Their main strength is in their ability to make items and adapt to most any environment. They use a combination of swords, guns, and other such conventional weapons. Humans are not limited to one field of magic, and therefore have much more potential for picking up multiple disciplines.

Lycans: One of the races that was almost entirely wiped out in the Harribel's takeover of the continent, Lycans are Humanoid creatures with the ability to morph into a single animal, chosen when the being reaches a certain age. Lycans generally have a few features from the animal they transform in to, though this varies immensely between individuals. They exhibit traits similar to their animal forms, ranging from increased strength and dexterity to better sight and speed. They have formed a tentative alliance with the royal family in recent years, and were hit worst by the epidemic from two years ago. They use a variety of weapons, and have a wide range of fighting styles.

Succubi and Incubi: Two different yet similar races living on the islands beyond the mainland. Succubi are Humanoids with bat wings and other generally demonic features, varying from each person but generally consisting of a spade tail and horns in addition to their wings. Incubi generally exhibit more birdlike traits, ranging from merely having bird wings on their backs to having actual talons and tail feathers, though this too varies by individual. Both races are neutral towards the Humans, and are not a part of the Harribel's empire. Both races have a high aptitude for magic use and ranged combat, but suffer from somewhat lower endurance than Humans. They are limited to four disciplines of magic.

Elves: Rumored to have descended from the Angels themselves, Elves are generally classified as beautiful Humans with generally blond or raven hair and sharp blue or green eyes. They live in the forests, though their numbers have dwindled in the years since the Human's assertion of power. They tend to use more elegant weapons and magic than Humans, and their agility and eyesight is superior, while their physical strength is generally lower than average Humans. Elves use bows, katana and magic associated with the forest, but can learn no more than two disciplines of magic.

Fairies: Small, Human-shaped creatures with dragonfly or butterfly wings on their back. They are a peaceful race that lives only in the deepest of forests, and as such many have been disappearing from the known world. They stand, at most, five inches tall and generally emit a light that occasionally reflects strong mood shifts. As they are a peaceful race, they don't use weapons, but have a wide knowledge of the world and the creatures inhabiting it, making them good for information when one can be found. They are also very skilled at magic, being able to learn all disciplines save for Time magic.

Dwarves: Not seen since before Humans attempted to form a government, Dwarves live in an underground city named Abyss hidden in the mountains. The diminutive Humanoids are fairly distrustful of strangers, and have a strong sense of honor. The majority of their society revolves around mining, and though they have few warriors, those who have fought a Dwarf know that just one is a force to be feared. Dwarves are limited to learning Earth magic, and are physically superior to Humans in the way of physical might and endurance, well making up for their limited magic.

Gods & deities: A race of beings that existed in the world before its creation ages ago, the gods are embodiments and controllers of whatever it is they are the personification of. In their own alternate plane of existence, they are unstoppable, but upon traveling to the Human world, their powers are drastically cut, making them weak enough to be taken down by exceptionally powerful Humans and other species, though they remain unkillable. If defeated in the Human world, their bodies turn to dust and they reappear in their alternate plane. Various gods, such as Noir, the god of shadows, and Cyclos, goddess of the wind, prefer to reside in the world of Humans. Compared to all other creatures, the gods in the Human world still have an immense store of power from which to draw on, but they are forbidden from attacking mortals unless in self-defense. Usually, there is only one deity for any particular element or other thing in which they embody, but in rare occasions, there will be more than one (Example; Noir and Nox are both the god/goddess of shadows) for a particular thing. Most of the gods and goddesses are related in some way.

Misc.: Other races exist, and will be allowed within the boundaries of reason. Please give a brief explanation of the race in your SU if you make one up.

Factions:

The Royal Guard: A fighting force of Humans working for the Harribel family. They are well-equipped fighters, but it has been noticed they are stretched fairly thin after the mass desertion. They have access to most of the ships and weapons available, but most do not know how to use magic.

The Rebels: A group of former Royal Guards who learned of the hidden incidents and decided it was time for a change in management. Many criminals have allied with them, as the group was in charge of the penitentiary when they decided to desert. Their fighting force is strong enough to challenge the Royal Guard, and is widely varied.

Neutral: Those with no part in either group. They can be part of a neutral group if you so please; if you do, please give a bit of detail about the group you are making.

Magic

Elemental: Consisting of Fire, Ice, Wind, Water, Earth, and a few unclassified spells, Elemental magic is the easiest to learn and the most widely used. Each begins with one general-purpose spell which can branch out to many others the more you know about the particular discipline. Each one has their own nature much like the deity they are personified by, and as such magic is known to misfire if you fall out of favor of that god. (NOTE: Each element is a discipline in and of itself)

Light & Shadow: The two most powerful sects of magic, Light and Shadow are used for defense and offense, respectively. Alone, they are rather useless, but when combined by a tactical mind, it is by far one of the most versatile and powerful of them all. Light and Shadow magic generally consists of manifesting various things, such as swords and shields. However, they both have an attack spell that takes a random combination branch, which can be devastating to opponents. Mastering these two branches of magic takes years, but its few users have been nearly unstoppable in combat when used correctly. Unfortunately, attacks with Light and Shadow can be separated and deflected easily with the correct observations, effectively rendering it fairly useless against highly perceptive opponents.

Unsorted: There are a few instances where a magic user does not fit in with a category, or has completely unique abilities previously unheard of. Abilities not fitting in an above category should be explained.

Time: INACCESSIBLE Time magic is the manipulation of time in order to influence events. Only the Goddess of Time has access to this magic, and for good reason.

Name: CR-12B

Age: Early twenties

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: ???: A form of magic never seen before and entirely unique to CR-12B. This magic is unique in the way that, unlike most forms of healing spells, it requires direct contact with the affected area, and its exact nature is unknown save for it is capable of repairing almost any wound, though it cannot restore lethal blows easily. The magic also has the ability to direct various aspects of a living being's healing abilities, which range from altering heart rate to inducing a coma. Its full uses are unknown, but it does not seem to have any attack capabilities.

Weapons: Unarmed; various medical tools.

Interesting abilities: CR-12B is considered by many to be the foremost in terms of medical knowledge and skill. His name isn't well known, but he has purportedly cured sicknesses formerly believed to be incurable. Because of his intricate knowledge of how the Human body is arranged, he knows which parts of the body are more susceptible to attack. He is also shown to be deceptively strong for his thin frame.

Personality: CR-12B is a quiet, somewhat withdrawn man in his early twenties. He is very intelligent, and has a lot of medical knowledge, but he rarely shares what he knows. He holds a strong dislike for violence, and as such often refuses to engage in combat unless his life is directly threatened. His only real loyalty is one held to the hometown his fragmented memory can hardly recall and to devoting his medicinal skills to helping others in the best way he can. He tends not to talk a lot, but when he does, his voice is notably timid and uncertain. CR-12B suffers from amnesia to the point he cannot remember so much as his name, though his impressive medical skill and knowledge remain intact. He tends to act a bit cold on first meeting people, but he quickly warms up. Tends to reply to things he finds objectionable with sarcasm.

History: Incarcerated for a crime he does not remember committing, CR-12B was unable to remember his name or much about himself while he was on trial. While at first those prosecuting him believed him to be merely bluffing, it became apparent he had been struck with amnesia. CR-12B was on trial for unleashing a deadly disease into a small town and killing all of its inhabitants, somehow himself surviving long enough to drag himself just outside of the town before collapsing. Nothing could dispute the evidence against him, and his cell number became his name. He was locked away in a special chamber, apart from the other prisoners, and kept effectively in an anti-magic bubble. There he stayed for three years, hardly eating any of the time and contemplating the evidence presented at the trial, comparing it to his own analysis of himself.

Eventually, CR-12B came to see he would need more evidence to say for sure whether or not he had done what they said he had. After a bit of questioning to the guards watching him, it became apparent that he was not only not listed as a criminal, but listed as being a dead man. He also learned that almost no one knew about the epidemic he had supposedly caused. Though CR-12B plotted no escape, he considered this information carefully and decided that, in the event he was let out either by the government or through a riot, he would find a way to investigate for himself what had happened there. Two months ago, fate conspired to bring about the revolution, and the rebelling soldiers stationed at the prison, seeing they needed a medic, released CR-12B from his cell and requested he come with them. His only requests were that the items he had been found with be returned to him, and that he be allowed to do as he pleased once they were secured. They consented, returning to him a ragged, torn doctor's coat, a bag of pristine medical equipment, a set of ruined clothes and a photograph with a note on the back, among a few other odds and ends. The photograph and the note offered little insight to who he was, however, as it is merely a photograph of a girl younger than himself and addressed to her older brother, though it gives no name.

Seeing that his clothes were ruined, he chose to wear the outfit he was given within his cell with the addition of a faded ID tag, taking his supplies and the other things found in his possession with him. He traveled with the rebels for some time, until they had medics of their own, before departing from the group to uncover the mystery of his past and find out just who he was.

Appearance: CR-12B is a pale-skinned Human with slate gray eyes and an incredibly thin form, unhealthily so. His black hair is unkempt and messy, but none of it obstructs his face or eyes save a few strands hanging over his nose. His attire consists of a torn, tattered white lab coat and a form-fitting white outfit with thin black horizontal stripes down it, with black boots that reach up to his knees. He also wears an ID tag that once held his name, but has long faded, and his shirt has two buttons side by side on his stomach. CR-12B is branded on his right arm, hidden at most times by his long sleeved outfit.

Other: Big brother, I know you’re going away today, so I wanted to give you something to remember me by! I’ll keep you in my prayers and hope you get back soon! Your loving sister, Rosalia. P.S., Please get that white coat of yours fixed up while you’re in town; it tore when I was cleaning it up for you.

Name: Noir, god of shadows

Age: Unknown

Race: god

Gender: Male

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Complete mastery of Shadow magic.

Weapons: A spiked cylinder on a chain, used in the way of a morning star.

Interesting abilities: Complete control of shadows; immune to shadow damage; immortal

Personality: Silent is an almost perfect description of the quiet god of shadows. Contrary to popular belief, he isn't malevolent in any sense of the word; he actually spends a lot more time accompanying his younger sister Nox than he does regulating the use of his element. He has a strong sense of justice, and is somewhat over-protective of those he cares about, but despite this he has promised not to interfere with the actions of mortals unless from self defense. he is one of the most 'sociable' gods in the way that finding him and being in his presence is incredibly simple, and he rarely prevents people from doing so. Despite this, instances of him speaking don't happen often in comparison to most. Nox usually knows about what he sees in a situation, and she usually speaks for the both of them.

History: Among the gods, Noir is with little doubt the most mysterious of them. No one quite remembers where he came from, and his lack of desire to speak of anything mostly prevents such information from being gathered. What is known is common mythology for those who remember the stories; he and his younger sibling Nox were supposedly born from shadows, and of the two Noir is rumored to be the stronger. He is said to have taught the first users of magic how to use his element in combat and for other things. He and his sibling are also known for almost constantly being among mortals simply because they are more amusing to watch than their fellow gods. If something interesting is happening in the world of mortals, Noir and his sister are usually nearby to watch, even if they aren't allowed to interfere. While his sister has done more interesting things than he has, Noir is just as prevalent in myths as she is, though he is usually portrayed as more a voice of reason. In all portrayals, he talks far too much, however.

Appearance: Noir is often noted for being unhealthily thin with pale white skin and amber eyes. His slate gray hair is cut short save for the bangs on either side of his face. In general, Noir wears a black sweater with matching pants and boots, though at times he appears to have no legs at all and merely be an extension of the shadows themselves. In addition, he usually sports a black hat, and keeps his weapon of choice wrapped around his torso, though he has displayed the ability to flick it out in a single movement.

Other:

Name: Solaris Harribel

Age: 22

Race: (Half) Human

Gender: Female

Faction: Royal guard (For reasons which should be obvious)

Magic abilities: Proficient in shadow and light magic; mastered fire and ice, low level water and lightning.

Weapons: Closest thing to a weapon she owns would be a parasol.

Interesting abilities: Solaris possesses a pair of demonic wings, usually hidden from view. They grant her the power of flight, but only for short periods. Deceptively strong.

Personality: In terms of personality, Solaris is very withdrawn, to the point that most in the castle's current employ can't remember her showing much emotion at all. If her rulings are to be an indicator, she is kind and just, but these are all there is to go on. From her outer personality, she is fairly distant, though in terms of speaking she is direct, but polite. She is immensely strained by the recent chain of events revolving around the rebellion, to the point it is affecting her mental state, a fact which she is well aware of. She does not agree with some of her father's ways, but deeply cares for him regardless. Her deeper emotions are unknown to anyone still living. She is very persuasive, and seems to have the ability to negotiate any situation in her favor. She is actually quite timid, but hides this behind a direct, polite front.

History: Solaris Harribel is a well-known character of the Harribel family, but not a well-seen one. She wasn't in line with the political end of family business to begin with; her brother, however, was involved with it from an early age. As he was roughly ten years older than she was, he didn't have much time for his younger sister with various duties political and otherwise. Despite this, she still cared for him greatly, and his death when she was twelve had a profound impact on her personality. Arguably, her withdrawn personality mostly stems from this, along with seeing the terrible things happening outside the castle walls when she was forced into politics herself shortly after her brother's death. The added stress of this, her father adopting more questionable methods, and the string of events leading up to the revolution (Including ruling on the case of Prisoner CR-12B) have slowly worn on her health, to the point where she notices something is wrong. One night, Solaris decided to disappear for a while, give herself time to recover from everything that had happened, and the next morning she was gone, with no sign of her even having left from that evening. The incident is being covered up.

Appearance: Solaris is a thin young woman with a shorter-than-average height, not being much taller than five feet. Her hair is a vibrant violet color, accented with a silver tint at its extremities, usually combed neatly in such a way that the left side of her face is hidden, only showing one of her amber eyes. Her skin is pale white, with odd markings like scratches on either side of her face, a small ways below her eyes, which manage to complement her feathery hair. Usually, she sports elegant, yet simplistic, dresses that accentuate her hair color, but since leaving the castle, she has taken up a less suspicious outfit consisting of a black lace-closed top with wide shoulders, dark violet gloves that reach past her elbows, a dark violet skirt and black leggings with somewhat plain black boots to finish the outfit. The shirt has a hood which she uses to hide her face in situations where she could be found by the guard and returned home.

Other: Anything not fitting in the above categories.

Name: Asagi Hokkaido

Age: 21

Race: Presumed Human.

Gender: Female

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Non-elemental-- Asagi is one of the rare few capable of using non-elemental magic. Unlike other disciplines, it is limited in use only by the user's magic aptitude and imagination. It can mimic spells from all disciplines almost perfectly, but without the added element damage. It can also be fired from specially-made projectile weapons to form a solid shot. Using this form of magic is highly disruptive to other magic disciplines, but it can also be disrupted by using the correct spell combinations. When an excess amount of energy builds up, it manifests itself in an aura unique to the user. Asagi's is light blue.

Weapons: Dual handguns-- A pair of specially modified handguns that look fairly blocky and large, but are built to withstand the force of firing bolts of non-elemental energy at targets. Each is capable of loading six bullets per gun, and can be fired as normal weapons, but also have the option of channeling magic energy instead. Durable enough to be used to block close-range attacks, or be used in the way of pistol whipping. An enchantment prevents the guns from breaking apart when hit by sharp or heavy weapons, but only for a short time.

Interesting abilities: Olympic-class gymnast, random fact guru, proficient in hand-to-hand combat.

Personality: Asagi is perfectly captured by the word 'Curiosity'; full of vitality at all times, Asagi is prone to dashing about excitedly from thing to thing, sometimes even cropping up random conversations with strangers and running off before they have time to respond. Despite seeming like a goofball, however, Asagi does have a serious side; she has a strong sense of justice, and won't stand for anyone she sees doing things she considers unjust, be they revolutionaries, guards or otherwise. Another aspect of her personality is her ability to bounce back from deep despair to her usual demeanor in an instant. She is also widely noted for being incredibly courageous, either through not knowing or not caring about the odds she's getting herself in to. She is also incredibly friendly, and unless she's angry with someone, she always has a kind word in reserve for anyone she sees who looks like they're having a bad day. She doesn't often show her other emotions very often, but she seems to bear a grudge against her stepfather for reasons she doesn't feel like explaining. She does not acknowledge the word 'No' when she wants to do something, and isn't afraid of going through a lot of trouble to get whatever it is she's after.

History: Asagi was born and raised on Windfall, a short ways off the coast of the Harribel's empire. Her father was a weapon smith, and her mother a seamstress. She spent most of her time with her father when she was young, instilling in her the tomboyish nature she is known for. When she was ten, a terrible storm hit the island, and her father was killed during it. Her mother remarried fairly quickly, despite Asagi's protests, and she was quickly given a terrible stepfather. He didn't like the idea of a daughter who acted more like a man than a woman, and attempted to beat the 'disrespect' out of her. He quickly found out that his stepdaughter was nimble enough to break his arm in the twenty seconds it took him to threaten her. Despite this, he tried countless times to prevent her from fulfilling her dreams until she finally got fed up with it and threatened to put a bullet through his head. Later that day, she took her father's specially-made handguns and set out for the mainland, mind on adventure. She's been on the mainland for exactly one year now, and she's quickly built up a reputation for herself; a courageous, kind-hearted heroine who would go through great lengths to help others. She is also established as not looking for or wanting a mate, though she is in the market for traveling companions.

Appearance: Asagi is, bluntly, short; she's exactly five feet tall, with shoulder-length blond hair dyed to black at the fringes, with a white hair clip in it. A single shock of her hair refuses to comply with her and remain in place, hanging above her right eye most of the time, partially obstructing her ice-blue eyes. Her skin is lightly tanned, and she is fairly muscular for a woman, usually dressing in a white shirt with black straps over her shoulders, and a white skirt with black short-shorts beneath. Usually, she sports a tattered white jacket with a blue cross on both sleeves and one on the back. She wears black boots that stop at her ankles, and carries her handguns one on either hip.

Other: Anything not fitting in the above categories.

Name: Long Shamar (Great Guardian)

Age: 500+

Race: God Dragon (His race refers to themselves as gods because they are powerful, but by NO means immortal.)

Faction: Rebels however, he despises most humans, dwarves and incubii/sucubii

Magic abilities: Fire/Water/Light Manipulation AKA really good camoflogue and the equivalent of flashbangs/Shape Changing/LIMITED flight

Weapons: Usually no more than what he physically has already, claws, teeth, magic. In human form he carries a naginata

Interesting abilities: With eye contact he can paralyze opponents (like a rattlesnake), and drive people insane with fear He also has a knack for telling fortunes and is very intelligent

Personality: Long Shamar, like much of his kind, is a pompous, prude, and vain creature. He often grooms his fabulous scales and mane. He also has a huge pride and honor issue. Anymn who insults him is practially sentencing himself to death, Long Shamar can hold a grudge for a LONG time. You don't mess with this dragon. He is also backed by about 500 strong yeti warriors that will loyally follow him to the ends of the earth. These are the only humanoids he truly has any compassion for.

History: For a long time, he lorded over a large tribe of furry mountain creatures. Being not too intelligent, they worshipped him as a God and he had a good life. After about 300 years, he got bored. He foolishly left his mountain temple and ventured down the mountain. He encountered dwarves first, they simply were after his fabulous scales so they tried to trap him. He escaped and found the vampiric races. He was disgusted by their slaughter of creatures so similar to themselves, so he left them too. Then he found humans. At first, He liked them and they payed him handsomley to share his great knowledge. However, they began to think about his uses as a war weapon. They captured him one afternoon as he was hunting swans and he was thrown into a power neutralizing cage. He tried to escape, but was unsuccessful. He was kept in his prison for over 50 years. Finally, during the beginning of the revolution, he escaped in a massive seige of the city. A trebuchet destroyed the roof of his cage and he was able too slither out. He then fled back to the mountains he had left so long ago. After a long celebration, He rallied the tribe to jopin him in destroying the humans that had kept him prisoner. Currently, his army is marching towards the capitol with only a medium sized force of mountain ape-men. However, Long Shamar intends to seek help from the elvish peoples.

I can say right now I'm not going to accept anything remotely on a god level. Dragon, sure; god dragon, I'm shooting Death at you from the man canon. I can't allow the messing with the minds thing beyond hallucinations, as well; that's a major godmod ability in my eyes. Just sayin'. Reserved for the time being.

EDIT: By the way, for clarification, I meant that you should specify >what< element(s) from the elemental bracket you can use, not just say Elemental. Leaves it too open ended.

DOUBLE EDIT: Well, okay, deities might show up as NPCs from time to time, but they certainly won't be under anyone's control. Just existing means they break rule number one, so... Yeah.

CAPTAIN EAGLE EDIT: By the way, that picture reminds me of Mushu from Mulan. Just sayin'.

Name: Ophelia Amethyst

Age: 14 (Younger sister of Lupus Amethyst)

Weapons: Ophelia uses two short swords (http://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/DualBladeSword.jpg) in battle, weilding them with a combination of her magic and animal skills to form a lethal dance.

Interesting abilities: Being a Lycan, Ophelia is able to turn herself into a Raven. Unlike most Lycans, however, Ophelia possesses the ability to turn into a half-Raven, gaining black wings, sharp talons, and black feathers all over her skin.

Personality: Ophelia is an odd girl, being very quite and shy. She isn't one for talking, and enjoys the listening approach. Ophelia's favorite time of day is midnight, and she enjoys turning into a raven at night and flying around. When she and Lupus go out, or just she, she likes exploring dark roads and high-up places. Ophelia is a great climber, and loves sitting on top of the tallest trees. Ophelia's favorite color is black, like the raven she turns into, and she only wears black, since she doesn't feel comfortable in anything else. Despite being the younger of the two siblings, Ophelia's knowledge is greatly higher then that of her older brother, despite the fact that her strength is greatly weaker then his. Despite this, Ophelia does not brag about her magic and transformation ability. Ophelia also wants to know how her brother can use his magic in his wolf form, something she cannot do in her Raven form. Ophelia is usually pretty modest about her skills, not liking to tell people about her Raven powers, as the knowledge of her being a Lycan makes her recall horrible things about her past.

History: Ophelia was born in a small cottage in the Fujin Mountains. Her brother, who had been three at the time, took care of her mother whilst she was in labor, as their father had gone off to war. Their mother and father were both Lycans, and so Ophelia and her Brother had the powers of animal change. Ophelia's magic powers manifested when she was 12 years old, two years after her brother's did, however her animal skills manifested at age 12 as well, 2 years before her brother's did. Name: Lupus Amethyst

Age: 17

Race: Lycan

Faction: Night Stalkers

Magic abilities: Lupus can use Fire and Earth magic.

Weapons: Lupus, like his sister, uses two swords (http://img.alibaba.com/photo/11788635/Giant_51_Final_Fantasy_7_Cloud_Buster_Swords.jpg) in battle, however the manner in which he uses them is quite different. Lupus's primary sword is the smaller one, which he can handle with ease, as it is easily manuverable, in succession with fire magic. His secondary sword, in more clashing fights, is the bigger one, which he uses with Earth magic to create huge creavases.

Interesting abilities: Lupus, as a Lycan, can turn into an animal (his is a wolf). Lupus can use his magic in his wolf form, something that most Lycans haven't been able to do.

Personality: Describe your character's personality. A good five lines.

History: What your character has been doing up until now. As a timeline; the Prince died ten years ago, the epidemic was three years ago, and the revolution started two months ago. Around two paragraphs.

Other: Anything not fitting in the above categories.

To be fair, they probably all have an in-between form, but kudos to her for learning how to keep it there... for whatever reason she'd want to be a harpie. Anyways, no problems with it so far; reserved 'till you finish.

*Frowns at the deity statement* 'Niisama, please tell me I'm allowed to use Nox and Kuuhaku? Please? Otherwise...lessee what I can do...

Name: Lunaria "Luna" Valentine

Age: 18

Race: Lycan-She has the traits of a fox

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Luna is pretty much incapable of magic, aside from being able to light campfires with ease, mebbe blow thing up if she gets mad, but she hates using it.

Weapons: Eclipse--steal this pic and burn, I drew this! (http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn73/Mew__Rose/My%20Art/?action=view&current=Eclipse-1.jpg)
An unusual weapen seen these days, Luna is an unofficial master of the heavy blade, Eclipse is about five and a half feet long, six inches being handle, the rest pure metal and that huge gem in the center. It's heavy enough most people continually wonder how she waves it around as though it weighs nothing, but she'll tell you over and over it was a lot of training on her part and years of using the sword. She's also armed with a smaller dagger.

Interesting abilities: Luna can and will shift into a larger than normal snow white fox with black-tipped ears and tail, at the shoulder, she stands about to a average height adult male's knees in this form. She also has a mass amount of poetry memorized that she can racket off at any moment.

Personality: Though Luna was never trained fully by a true master, her swordmanship is hard to find a rival to, and during a fight, she's the one who will focus on keeping her key players safe rather than just hacking and slashing like an idiot. She often seems open and friendly, but anyone who can read people well will be able to see she's also wary of people to some extent, due to her bad luck with relationships, though she does regard her friend Cloud with a certain softness tinged with sarcasm. She also has a soft spot for children, something that's always been present in her, and makes kids love her in the towns she's visited, and people often come to like her more for it because it shows how kind of a person she can really be and that she's not all tough knight on the inside. Luna has a fondness of books, and poetry, as well as singing, though finding her reading is rare, and finding her singing is more rare still. As nice as she is, though, Luna will not take being talked down to by men nor will she take well to you trying to boss her around, especially if you're a man. Otherwise, she has the paitience of a saint on most days, and she loves rain.

History: Luna grew up in a small village of Lycans who went into hiding among the Fujin Mountains, and when the time came for her to choose her animal form, she chose a fox, much like the other members of her family, although her best friend chose a wolf. She was trained by her father in the art of the heavy blade, who was trained by his father, because there were no sons in the family, and no others willing to learn the art to pass it on themselves. When she was twelve, however, a group of wandering soldiers found their home and immediately set about attacking the village, her parents told her to take her sister and go with her best friend, another Lycan by the name of Cloud, out of the village with the rest of the younger residents, which saved their lives, they learned later. Going back to the village a month or so later, they found their home burnt to te ground, with no remaining of those who had stayed to fight. She and Cloud took charge of the children and lead them deeper into the mountains, where they encountered Dwarves, but ensured them they meant no harm, and were looking only for a place to call home after theirs was burnt to the ground. Realizing they were telling the truth, the dwarves allowed them to settle into the deeper parts of the mountains, where the group avoided contact with all species except for the occaisional Dwarf, keeping them safe from the epidemic while they worked hard to build their own new home.

Once she found the work of the tiny group satisfactory, Luna and Cloud set out to find supplies that the group could not and would be nice to have, three years after the burning of their home village. Finding themselves among a world in chaos, the two allied themselves with only themselves, and continued on their mission. They ended up being the root of various rumors about a beautiful girl with fox attributes that carries a huge sword and her enormous wolf companion, and also wound up as mercenaries of sorts, fighting off the occasional troublesome beast for some money to fund their buying for their village.

Appearance: Clickeh--BTW this pic was drawn by ME, use it without my permission and burn in Hades forever after. (http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn73/Mew__Rose/My%20Art/?action=view&current=DSCI0598.jpg&t=1289191925016)(This may change as I am working on a newer pic and am not done yet.)
Luna is an Inui--a half-human, half canine(in her case, fox) creature marked by her ever-present set of snow white ears and tail, which are tipped with black. She has bright blue eyes that always seem to have a haunted look to them and long silver hair as well as pale skin, and a silverly crescent moon mark stands out in the center of her forehead, she's about eighteen, but looks younger, more like she's sixteen or so, which tends to give people more ammo to distrust her abilities and for her to prove them wrong. Though she's a knight of sorts, Luna tends to wear less armor and more normal clothes because she gets even wierder looks when she walks around in full armor and has a massive sword slung over her back--the armor slows her down anyway. This is why she enjoys juxtapositioning the sword with pretty dresses and light hard leather armor under them. She wears a blue teardrop necklace on a silver chain around her neck at all times that was given to her by one of her closest friends. She has a tendency to stand straight-backed and can sometimes look as though her mind is elsewhere.

Other: She often carries Cloud's broadsword for him because he tends to stay in his wolf form.

Name: Cloud Rainier

Age: 19

Race: Lycan-Takes up a wolf form

Gender: Male

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Cloud can heal slightly--as in he can fix cuts and that's about it.

Weapons: Usually, himself, Cloud tends to stay in his wolf form rather than walk around human, it's just what he prefers, and he can fight well as a large wolf--he has a nice mouth full of sharp pearly white teeth and a decent amount of weight he can throw around. If he's caugh in a fight in his human form, he has a broadsword that Luna often carries for him.

Interesting abilities: Cloud can take the form of a massive thunderhead gray wolf with about a million cowlicks in his fur, at the shoulder he comes up to nearly Luna's waist. He also has an impeccable knowledge of plants and their uses, and knows how to use them to treat injured people.

Personality: Cloud is a very laid back kind of guy, not entirely lazy, but not the kind to jump into a fight as soon as he possibly can, either. Honestly, people wonder just how in the world he and Luna get along so well, but it's not anything he can explain well, other than the fact that they've been friends since they were little, nd they both care deeply for little kids. He would rather not be serious, but he can if te need arises, as it often can. He's the kind of guy to laugh at almost everything if he finds it amusing, which gets him "beat up" by Luna often, as they can go back and forth play punching and kicking each other. He, unlike Luna, always has the paitience of a saint, and love little kids as well. He often finds himself being petted by little kids every time he and Luna hit a town because of his liking of his animal form rather than his human form, not that it hinders his ability to protect himself or communicate with those he wishes to, as Luna can understand him and translates when he's too lazy to shift his form.

History: Cloud grew up in a small village of Lycans who went into hiding among the Fujin Mountains, and when the time came for him to choose his animal form, he chose a wolf, much like the other members of his family, although his best friend chose a fox. He took up the art of healing as well as learning how to defend himself with a broadsword. When he was thirteen, however, a group of wandering soldiers found their home and immediately set about attacking the village, his parents told her to take his best friend, another Lycan by the name of Luna, and her sister out of the village with the rest of the younger residents, which saved their lives, they learned later. Going back to the village a month or so later, they found their home burnt to te ground, with no remaining of those who had stayed to fight. Cloud and Luna took charge of the children and lead them deeper into the mountains, where they encountered Dwarves, but ensured them they meant no harm, and were looking only for a place to call home after theirs was burnt to the ground. Realizing they were telling the truth, the dwarves allowed them to settle into the deeper parts of the mountains, where the group avoided contact with all species except for the occaisional Dwarf, keeping them safe from the epidemic while they worked hard to build their own new home.

Once they found the work of the tiny group satisfactory, Luna and Cloud set out to find supplies that the group could not and would be nice to have, three years after the burning of their home village.

Appearance: Though he is often in his wolf form, when Cloud shifts into human form, he looks like a young man with chin length, messy brown hair and tan skin with dark gray eyes as well as the keeping of his ears and tail. Though he's often found smiling and has a face full of kindness, it can often look like his mind is elsewhere, or he can also look wildly furious. He often wears a loose black cotton tunic with a pair of loose blue cotton "pants", and no shoes or real armor because of the infrequency of his human form time.

Other: Nope!

Name: Midnight of the Red Moon

Age: She has no idea(About 16 or 17)

Race: Shade(well...kind of)-Ever read Eragon? A Shade is a llivig person who's been taken over by a group of spirits, usually noted by their crimson hair and maroon(? I believe, can't remeber entirely), as well as their destructive tendencies...well, Midnight's not like the normal Shades...

Gender: Female

Faction: Neutral, since she can't remember which side she was on to begin with.

Magic abilities: Midnight has an extreme affinity for fire magic, it's as though she's made of fire herself with the ease she shoots flames from her fingertips, and she often ends up using the magic without meaning to.

Weapons: She carries a simple sword in addition to er fire magic, but she avoids fights where she can.

Interesting abilities: Personality crisis-at times, the spirits in her body can gain enough strength to take over control of her body, and will, acting so much differently from the Midnight people come to know that it's incredibly confusing for anyone around.

Personality: Midnight comes across as a bit crazy, tending to talk to herself, often referring to herself as 'we', and trying to avoid people wherever she can. She hates it when people yell at her, and her emotions ad actions are partially driven by the spirits that inhabit her body with her. She tries to avoid fights and often flinches if someone even raises their voice or hand while standing near her, though if she does get into a fight, she tends to use her fire magic to allow her to escape. It's hard to gain her trust, but once you do, she will do what she can to protect you, even if it's making you run away. She regards most things with a childish attitude as her memory was erased by the spirits joining her body, and is a very curious individual once she knows she's out of danger. Midnight enjoys playing with er fire magic in her spare time.

History: Originally a member of the resistance against the royal family known as Anya Rayne, Midnight only became as she is now because of the fighting against the two groups. She was easily liked by her comrades and known for her skill with a blade, but that didn't save her from getting hurt. During a fight against the royal guard, she was mortally wounded and left for dead by her comrades, doing the only thing Anya could think to do, she prayed for someone to save her. A group of spirits heard her pleading for help and came to her, in exchange for saving her, she agreed to allow the spirits to hide in her body, away from the world's chaos and magicians who would want to use them. It had an unexpected side-effect, however, and erased all her memories of before amd made her eyes the way they are now.

This was all a few months ago. Ever since, Midnight's been roaming aimlessly, trying to figure out how she can help the situation without getting herself hurt. After learning she could no longer remember her name and the spirits saw their host in a mirror, they began calling her "Midnight if the Red Moon" on account of her hair and eyes. She's been the subject of many calls of "devil" and "witch", and chased out of a few villages on account of it. Since, she's learned to keep her mouth shut, head down, and don't take anything from strangers.

Appearance:
Midnight(Not my pic) (http://media.photobucket.com/image/black%20hair%20anime%20warrior%20girl/Rayne13666/girls/This_Morning_by_StandAlone_Complex.jpg?o=2)
Midnight stands about 5' 9", with long onyx black hair that makes her already pale skin look almost white and bring out her vibrant red eyes, which appear to to flicker like fire itself. She has the body of a fit young woman, covered loosely in leather armor, and no shoes. Though she tends to appear dangerous at first, she tends to wear a facial expression that screams "Don't hurt me, please?".

Other: N/A

Name: Nox, Goddess of Shadows

Age: Few thousand years, she's lost track or her exact age

Race: Goddess

Gender: Female

Faction: Her own

Magic abilities: Near-complete mastery of shadow magic

Weapons: Her magic and Hannibal(to be explained)

Interesting abilities: Mastery of shadow magic, the ability to alter her appearance, immortal

Personality: Nox is often described childish and sweet, if a little troublesome. She often arranges games of tag among her and Noir's servants in the Church of Shadows out of boredom when she's not wandering among the mortals, making her one of the more odd deities, as she's yet to give up on them. She's capable of talking your ear off as her borther's mouthpeice, and often speaks slowy and calmly because of the attatchment to her side she calls a bodyguard. Thanks to him, she acts incredibly motherly towards children, even if she's the Goddess of Shadows, isn't a means by which to judge her attitude. She'd be alot more open about this if she was actually allowed to meddle in the affairs of mortals--like helping stop the stupid war going on, but she's sworn not to. She's quick to befriend people, and protects those she does as best she can.

History: Nox and her brother's beginnings are shrouded in mystery, and she's not willing to talk about it, as neither is Noir. Amoung the younger of the Deities, she has always been protrayed as not near as fond of sitting still and watching and complaining as the elder Gods are, though she's befriended a few, such as the space goddess, Kuuhaku, who has considered the two as her siblings for most of their lives. Though Noir was there to teach the magic users about their element's offensive and defensive uses, Nox was a bit more innovative, and discovered how to transport through shadows. She's always found an intrest to the world of mortals, and if something interesting is happening, she's bound to be there, whether she's watching from a hiding place in the shadows or standing right there.

She picked up Hannibal some hundred or so years ago as a "bodyguard" at the urging of Kuuhaku, who told her it was a good idea to have someone to talk to other than her brother that would watch her back, and he was the runt of the litter that no one wanted. She's taken to dragging him around with her so that he's become a permanent fixture to her side, earning him a place in mythology as the dog of destruction, although he does nothing of the sort. Nox herself often listed as a young helper of those of great importance, posing riddles or questions to them in a way that they might take a hint and figure out somehing the ymight not have otherwise.

Appearance: Nox often takes one of two forms, but her base appearance stays the same, she can easily be identified as the pale girl with short golden blonde hair and liquid silver eyes with a tone of golden freckles covering her cheeks. Her older form tends to show her as a young woman in her early twenties, with wild chin-length hair and often wearing one black dress or another, depending on where she's going or what she's doing, and usually has a slight smile planted on her face. In her younger form, she looks like she's about ten, and her hair is pulled into two chin-length ringlet ponytails and she continues to wear black dresses, but tends to ditch shoes. She, unlike of her brother, looks totslly healthy no matter which form she's in.

Other: She's constantly shadowed by a hellhound by the name of Hannibal, who take the form of a bull mastiff. He stands the size of a fully grown twenty year-old man at the shoulder, with brindle fur and glowing yellow eyes, with a purple-ish aura about him. He also can take the form of a fifteen year old boy dressed in black pants, a white shirt, and a black vest, much like the uniform of a butler, while his skin stays dark(think dark oak wood stain), his eyes still burn yellow, and his hair is a brindle mess. He often ends un carrying Nox around when she's in her smaller form, and will guard her with her life.

Hrm... Well, I was going to implement a system for that so no one took one and ended up being hell on earth for everyone who decided to play a non-god; if you'll have a little patience, I ought to have that set up in a bit. Luna looks good, but you might want to mention any special abilities she has for player reference.

Even if it seems godmoddish, I've got a downside for everything.

ALSO like I said before, please specify what elements (Wind, water, etc.) you can use; I just didn't feel like listing them all individually so I put it into an elemental category. Unless you're a fairy, I don't need anyone running around who can cast all kinds of magic in rapid secession. That'd ruin some of the events I have planned for you guys.

Name: Cinder Maere

Age: 22

Race: Human

Faction: Neutral (He doesn't like Royal guards, but he isn't a part of any resistance)

Magic abilities: Being a Magus, Cinder has incredible magical potential, and he is capable of performing at least one spell from every magical category, but his main talents lie within Wind, Fire, and Shadow magic. He doesn't require his magic to be used much though, intending to trick his opponents often.

Weapons: Cinder has three main weapons: magic, his magic staff (http://chibistarr.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d30i29y), and a dagger he keeps hidden under his sleeves.

Interesting abilities: Cinder has complete control over the wind, if that's what you call intersting. He also seems to be a magnet for anything interesting to happen to him. And, as a trait in his family, his eyes turn lighter or darker depending on his mood.

Personality: No one really like Cinder, except for his brother, and they all have a good reason to. The sarcastic, cynical, self-centered mage seems to not want anyone to like him, and makes sure of the fact. Those three words would seem to sum up his entire character up; he says waht is on his mind and doesn't care what people thinks, and he acts like he's better than everyone and he couldn't care less about their troubles. The one thing Cinder detests the most is failure, since he believes that shows his own shortcomings instead of something else. Even though he is physically weak, he detests any type of help or assistance from others. At times he seems to merely tolerate his brother, who he treats horribly.

And yet it goes deeper than that. Contrary to belief, he's not all the cold, heartless bastard he makes himself out to be. He does have a softer side, although he squashes that side violently and even then it's a stone's throw from being cruel. For those who society has stepped on, an object of ridicule and pity, are the ones who stir his sympathy. It's rare for anyone to see him kind, but those who he turns his sympathy to are lucky indeed, for seeing a such a rare side of him.

History: Cinder and Caron were both born in a small town called Autumnleaf, named for its beauty when autumn rolls around. Whilst Caron had been born healthy and strong, Cinder was the pale, sickly twin who suffered. Ever since birth, Cinder had been cursed with a nearly criplling illness that no healer could cure, it seemed. It prevented him from performing much work and actually kept him bedridden for the first two years of his life while the rest of his family wondered if he would live. However, despite all odds Cinder simply refused to die, but the rest of his family knew that he would be useless for any sort of work.

And so it was a recipe for a horrible childhood. Everyone seemed to think that Cinder had no future ahead of him, he was constantly tormented by other children, and even his stepsister couldn't really figure out what to do with him. That all changed at age eleven though, when a traveling mage happened to pass byt he town. He realized that Cinder had an incredible magic potential around him, and he begged the boy's family if he could take him to cuty where other mages could train him. His father accepted gratefull, finally seeing something that Cinder was good at.

Cinder was a very quick learner and began acing his classes. The other mage apprentices resented him, although they were aso scared of him. They began calling him The Sly One because he had an incredible mind and knew how to manipulate people to get what he wanted. He was more mature than others of his age and kept to his classes. He was an outcast in the school, but due to his studies he graduated with flying colors, which made his classmates even more scared of him. The twins did not really know what to do for money though, they were both eighteen by this time and had to do some sort of work, so they both became mercenaries, Cinder as a mage and Caron as a warrior.

They were often employed and because of the dangers Caron honed his fighting skills and Cinder poured over spellbooks and ways of increasing his power. In years the twins were a force to be reckoned with, and rumors of a pair of twin mercenaries that could not be killed ran wild. Eventually these reached the Magi, the higher-classed mages. They knew they had to do somehting about a powerful mage on the lands, so they called the twins to their tower and offered Cinder the Test to become a Magi, even though he was only twenty-two and most Magi were about twice that age. Cinder barely thought twice at the opportunity for more power and immediately agreed. Even though the Test was difficult and nearly killed him, Cinder emerged victorious and became the youngest Magi ever. But because Magi were so powerful, they were not allowed to engage in acts of war or fighting, so that ut an end to the twins' times as mercenaries. Instead they now travel the lands, doing the requests of the Magi and trying to avoid conflict of the Royal Guards.

Appearance: http://public5.tektek.org/img/av/1011/d20/2342/9f7f899.png Cinder is incredibly pale and incredibly skinny, giving him the appearance of a "robed skeleton", or so others say. Despite this, he wears the iconic red robes of the red Magi, and what draws the most attention to him are his eyes, which a dark gold, like honey when held up to the light. They burn with intensity nd they seem to be the only alive-looking thing about him. Depending on his mood, they can get darker or lighter, although not many people notice it. His hair is a dark brown, almost black it seems, and falls across his forehead and sometimes into his eyes. The one people never see him without is his staff, which he carries everywhere.

Other: His staff controls the wind.

((Finish latteerrr...I got to sleep naoooow))

Name: Caron Maere

Age: 22

Race: Human

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: None

Weapons: He carries around a regular sword, along with two daggers.

Interesting abilities: He has an incredible amount of physical strength, if that wasn't obvious from his appearance. He is also a skilled swordsman and can ive in the woods easily.

Personality: It's very hard to get Caron riled up or angry over anything, while everyone else is losing their heads he's the ones who is thinking the problem over colly and logically. He has a natural calmness and charm that draw people to him, much to the hidden jealousy of his brother. People often go to him for advice or help, because they know he will give it. It seems that Caron is always full of charm and smiles, but people say that he is slow-witted in comparison to his genius of a brother. This is not true; Caron may not think as fast as Cinder, but he has an insight of his own and more often than not he finds himself coming to the same conclusions as Cinder, although it takes him a bit longer. The one thing people value him for is that whenever he thinks over a problem, he looks over it from every possible angle so everyone knows that he has studied the problem thoroughly and that his opinions has some worth listening to.

Even though it seems impossible to invoke Caron's anger, there is one thing that will infuriate him in two seconds and everyone knows what it is. If you hurt or threaten to hurt Cinder in any way when Caron is nearby, then you will soon find yourself on the receiving end of some serious wrath soon. Caron is incredibly protective of his brother (which more often stirs Cinder's resentment than his gratefulness) and will defend him form anything. While sometimes Cinder does not need protection, the twins still fight together and combine magic and metal in such a way that they have developed a fighting style completely unique to them.

History: When Caron was orn, he was strong and healthy in stark comparison to his twin, whom everyone thought was going to die. Because they did not want to prolong the torment of the weaker Cinder, they turned their affections to Caron. When Caron was older and got used to the fact that he had a brother, he began to feel guilty about himself. Maybe if he wasn't so healthy, then someone would pay atention to Cinder instead of him. He helped hs mother and sister take care of Cinder and helped him walk and run and made himself nearly inseparable with his twin. Even though they were young, Cinder always insisted that he could do things by himself, but Caron never quite believed him. The other children that they played with tormented Cinder, throwing rocks at him and calling him names, and Caron made it his duty teach them a lesson. Other children learned quickly that when Caron was around, you wouldn't dare lay a hand on Cinder.

Caron always had dreams of becoming a warrior, although he had no idea how he was going to get the proper training and stay with his brother at the same time. He was really starting to worry when a traveling mage came through the town and requested that Cinde rbe taken to the city to train as a mage. Caron knew that this was his opportunity to train as a warrior as well, and he all but begged to go. Cinder was a bit irritated, but Caron was allowed to come anyway. While Cinder was in school pratcising magic, Caron was under a weapons instructor and another warrior who taught all of the boys in his class how to fight and how to survive in combat against each other. Caron was a natural, it seemed, and by the time he was eighteen he was a strong and healthy young man and Cinder had grduated easily. The problem then came with trying to find money to support themselves. At first they went into show business, performing tricks and feats using both Cinder's magic and Carons strength, but then the life of a mercenary intruiged the twins. They employed themselves under many payers and earned their keep, and along the way they learned how to utilize their own skills to create a fighting style that could combat nearly any foe.

Eventually the Magi heard of the twin mercenaries, and called both of the twins up to their stronghold. Oddly, Caron was requested to come as well. Being twins, the Magi wanted to see if Caron had any magical potential as well, which he did not. Then Caron had to sit back and watch as Cinder went through the Test of the Magi and watched him almost get killed in the process. The warrior began to believe that it was a mistake to evercome to the Magi, but in the end cinder passed and was granted immense magical freedom and power. This ran them out of the mercenary business of course, since Magi were forbidden to go to war of any kind. However, they have hordes of cash stored away and the Magi pay them to go across the country and perform taks for them.

Appearance: http://public5.tektek.org/img/av/1011/d21/2139/38fc466.png If it weren't for the hair and eyes, you would never guess that Cinder and Caron were related. Caron is a healthy, tanned, and incredibly muscled individual in complete contrast to his twin. The two seem to be like night and day, but they both share odd honey gold eyes and dark brown hair, although Caron's hair is slightly wavy and reaches his shoulders. More often than not you'll see Caron wearing casual armor, which consists of a breastplate, greaves, and gauntlets. This allows some protection while the wearer remains more or less agile and less weighed down by heavy metal armor. To conceal his weapons and armor, Caron often wears a long brown cloak that covers his torso and goes to his ankles.

Other: Nope, nothing.

XD As for the Deities discussion, okay. I mean, you know how Nox and Kuuhaku are--they wander among the mortals and go "Wooooooooooow, they're idiots...Hannibal go see if you can find me that witch."

And you do realize Luna wasn't done yet, right?

Unfortunately, I don't think that witch will be showing up this time around.

And she wasn't? Huh; you pulled a Houdini on me there.

On more relevant notes *Ahem*

They ended up being the root of various rumors about a beautiful girl with fox attributes that carries a huge sword and her enormous wolf companion, and also wound up as mercenaries of sorts, fighting off the occasional troublesome beast for some money to fund their buying for their village.

Name: Ryu-Ikimono, AKA Ryu

Age: 712 years, 17.8 dragon years. (40 human years =1 dragon year)

Gender: Female

Race: Necro-dragon (A dragon essentially based around Necromancy magic)

Faction: Currently Neutral

Magic abilities:
Blood Necromancy:
Can call on the dead marked by her necromancy mark to aid her, can ignite her blood into flame to heal herself or harm others. Blood is highly corrosive so it varies and is risky. Able to create a loophole to bring herself back from the dead. The amount of damage varies the length of recovery, possible comatose if very much damage is done. This does not work under the following conditions:
`Heart is removed from her body

`Body is ‘bodyhopped’ which Ryu has a week to have her soul return to her original body.
`Soul has taken far too much damage and can no longer sustain itself.
Note: Ryu does not like to bring marked victims back from the dead. Heavily suppresses her blood magic, can result in berserk form shifting and loss of mental control. Having no one killed and marked by her hand in this land as of yet, she isn't able to bring back souls from beyond the grave.

Mirror Wandering/Shadow Jumping:
Mirror Wandering involves using reflective surfaces to enter the passage of mirrors. The entire realm is completely white. The only thing that is seen are other reflective surfaces respective to there they are in the real world. Shadow Jumping involves the same thing, only using the shadows, and is accompanied by vertigo and she can't see where she is going, can only imagine where she wants to go. As she isn't familiar with the land, she isn't keen on using either of these.
Use of it varies. It is not teleporting as walking is required.

All’s End Form:
Only in All’s End form Ryu can use masses of dark energy, used for obliteration, mayhem, the usual chaos, blah blah blah.

Despite being a dragon, Ryu has no breath. Using her abilities listed above will be used in the utmost of sparingness.

Weapons: Ryu ‘carries’ a heavy large (like FFVII Buster Blade large) chained broadsword. Each blade piece is held together by a spine of dark energy. The sword is called ‘Aldvir’ and is possessed by a demonic serpent of that name. This allows her to ‘summon’ the sword in a way.
Note: See Slayerdramon’s Sword for a reference in basic appearance.

Interesting abilities:
Superior strength and stamina (stamina in regular form)
Flying, she’s got wings, duh
Heightened Immune System
Shapeshifting: Can only shapeshift into forms she has attained through her special method of doing so. Will list forms in Appearance.
Jack of all trades type person, can learn various skills and knows how to do a lot.

Personality: Strong and sarcastic. That sums up Ryu in two words. In more, she is a sharp witted, daredevil, risk taking, ‘check the bill after’ type person. She gets into trouble, and gets out of it the same way she came in. Under all that sarcasm and sharp wit however is a selfless, stubborn as hell and then some, great person, friend and ally. Get on the wrong side of her and you’re most likely staying there. She isn’t fond of kids, at least she’d never admit, as only a very select few of ‘child-like’ characters that have made it onto her ‘fond’ list. Ryu is also not fond of the male variety of, well anything. She never backs down from a fight, never lets those innocent get hurt, even if it kills her. She doesn’t care much about her own well being much at all, only cares about those close to her. She never had a chance to be a kid, even with that, she tries to do her best to fight her destiny that ripped away her childhood. On the deep inside, she's the kid she was never able to be, but there is only one person in the entire world

History: Ryu was forcibly taken by Nothingness in order to become the Harbinger of All’s End. How she escaped is a wondrous mystery, especially at a very young age. Afterwards, she was banished and known as the Renegade Outlander by only those that have seen her be exiled. This place was in a far away land, extremely far from the land she is currently in. A world traveller, Ryu has many skills that she’s taken upon herself to learn and fights the fate she was forced into by doing good for others. She travels alone, looking for a way to bring her one and only true friend back to life. Her life is surrounded by an enigma, as she is extremely unique in every way that makes her seem, even, ‘otherworldly’. She travels alone, and likes to keep it that way, even with the current conflict at hand. As far as she knows, she doesn’t know much about the conflict at all,and is leading on her own mission it seems. Due to her very mysterious...ness, she has multiple bounties on her head, but she is used to this. No one has been able to take her in, or lasted conscious for a week after because of it.

Appearance:
Any and all pictures are made by me and are copyright of me. Art theft will not be tolerated.
Regular Appearance: (http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t100/Saraibre/055.jpg)
Ryu stands at 5’8 and is 12 feet long. Her wingspan is about 10 feet. Though her wings look feathered, there not. They’re special scales laid over a membrane. In this form, her stamina is the best, and her strongest limb is her tail. Her eyes start outlined in indigo and then come to a luminous blue as they reach the pupil. Her body colour is an indigo, and her body markings are all violet. Her wings are jet black with each scale tip in a blue. Her underbelly is a dark lavender, and her face markings are in a midnight blue. The gems on her head are a violet tinted blood red.
Human Appearance:
Ryu gives stamina up for speed and agility. Quite the looker, the one mark that remains from her dragon form is the scythe-like marking over her left eye. Her hair is dark but seems to have an indigo tint to it, even when black. Her eyes remain the same. She wears a long jacket, and a hat, similar to what Van Helsing would wear. A dark blue bandana around her face, black gloves, and a belt for holding various tools she happens to pick up. She stands at 5’7 and only weights just under 100 pounds.
All’s End Appearance: (http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/2885/ryuallsendform.jpg)
This form varies in size depending on what her power level is at. The more massive, the most powerful. The armor is made of foreign material that seems to be a synthesis of bloodstone, obsidian, and a mysterious crystal known as skaelite. Parts on her armor can come off and come together in another version of her sword, Aldvir. The common, or smallest size is a length 15 feet long, 7 feet tall, 18 foot wingspan, 5 foot extension for sub wings.
Necro-blitz Appearance: (http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t100/Saraibre/100_1020.jpg)
This form follows the same colouring as her regular form. On her legs are gems that can shred. This form is only used then her necromancy ability is suppressed too much that it escapes on it’s own. A length of 15 feet, height of six feet and wingspan of 17 feet. Her eyes are a contrasting red when in a berserk rage. She is far more gaunt and thin, making her far less durable in a fight, however she can dish out what she can’t take.
Other: There are certain places and certain actions that will cause a psychological surge in her brain and will make her act suddenly in a different way.

Reminds me of Bahamut for some reason.I'm a bit skeptical about the world-jumping thing and the teleport-ish powers, but I'll wait to see how you play it off. Accepted.

XD Midnight's not exactly a real Paolini Shade, but hopefully you'll allow my variations. :) I've been rereading the series lately(just finished Brisingr Frinday) and playing a little too much Dissidia, so...you'll see.

And I think it'll be more to Nox's relief that witch won't be here.

Don't jinx yourself; I haven't decided whether to use her or not yet XD

And I'll be interested to see what you do with it; take your time.

Blargh, reserve me as a Dragon ^^. I know I talked with you about Elai's stuff; about the only thing I think I'll have to change is her History. You can let me know if it works or not.

*wipes forehead* Phew! Finally done with Midnight and Nox, which should end my character list, since I'm too lazy to SU for Kuuhaku. If she appears as an NPC, she appears as a NPC wit the rest of the unclaimed Deities.

A question before I reserve, are Lycans limited to REAL animals or can they be things such as winged horses, dragons, etc. as well?

We've got dragons, elves, shades and other monstrosities; I don't think anyone will begrudge you for making up an animal of some sort.

Appearance: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs23/f/2008/019/d/9/Dragonatomy_11_by_Elandain.jpg about the length of 2 school buses

Other: Anything not fitting in the above categories

I object to this on several levels. I didn't make the races with the intent of someone villifying their communities and making them into greedy bastards/genocidal monsters/power-hungry conquerers. See, I don't mind you saying things about your own race, but the whole reason I left the wide majority of information about groups and species open were so people who wanted to take them were free to put their own spin to it. AND JUST BECAUSE I SHAMELESSLY YANKED DEMON NAMES FROM MYTHOLOGY DOES NOT MAKE INCUBI/SUCCUBI EVIL OR DEMONS, AS THEY ARE NEITHER.

And then there's your abilities. Being able to strike paralyzing fear into a being through eye contact is too much of a god-mod; if I let you take an ability like that, all you have to do is make eye-contact with whoever you're fighting and get in a one-hit kill. And is it REALLY practical to be TWENTY METERS LONG? At that size, you can basically squish anything.

DE-nied

And on the yeti.... Why the hell are you posting pictures of animals? Not necessary. Not to mention I WILL NOT let you ride in on a wolly mammoth or anything similarly terrible. Unless you're a god-- A GOD god-- you start at the same level as everybody else. And even then, gods aren't allowed to interfere lest they bring about Trenia's wrath.

Name: Ghalm Anvilhand

Age: 34

Race: Dwarf

Gender: Male

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Being a Dwarf, he is only limited to Earth magic. So...He uses Earth magic!

Weapons: Dual Warhammers (http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm161/bezao_campbell/OPEvo/Armas/DwarfHammer.jpg) and a Dwarven Sword (http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs29/f/2008/100/3/c/Dwarven_Sword_by_Bonez18B.jpg) he forged with his own hands and his book, which includes his collection of Earth spells, given to him by his father.

Interesting abilities: He has a specialty in forging and repairing weapons. He's a decent engineer and crafter.

Personality:
Ghalm is honorable and an incredibly serious person. He won't stand for idiocy and ignorance and will no doubt stand up for what he thinks is right. If you ever bully or harm the innocent in front of him, he will become enraged and surely attack you, because if there's one thing he hates, it's harming the defenseless. When it comes to strangers in general, he can be rather wary and won't hesitate on attacking you if you start becoming too suspicious. Of course, there is a streak of kindness hidden under the tough and stern Ghalm. When you become an ally, however, his loyalty knows no bounds. He will aid you to the best of his ability if it is required. Despite his hard exterior, he's smarter than you'd think. In his free time, he reads any book he can find, about anything that interests him. He strives to gain as much knowledge of the world as he can, to be marked famous among his people for someday, maybe, creating something beneficial to all races even. It's near impossible to break his determination and he can damn well prove it to you.

History:
Ghalm was born in a Dwarf clan in the mountains, the Anvilhands. As the name may suggest, they are a clan of blacksmiths, forging armor and weapons for the warriors of the clan. His father was a warrior of the clan, and so Ghalm was expected to take his father's place when the time came. The young Dwarf decided to mix that up. Some days he worked with his mother as a blacksmith and some days he trained with his father as a warrior. He was a determined young man and learned to balance out his studies. When he came of age and mind, his father gave him his spell book, passed down from generation to generation of his family. It had numerous Earth spells, more than enough to catch Ghalm's interest and dedication.

Soon, Ghalm was a formidable blacksmith and warrior, close to surpassing his parents even. Suddenly, news of an epidemic traveled to the Dwarf species. Fortunately, the mountains protected them from the disease, so they continued their business with not too much worry. Now, at present times, Ghalm has left his clan to travel the world that he's always longed to explore. His family had little to no objections, wanting him to carry out his dreams, as long as he returns some day to tell stories of his adventures. After carefully packing his equipment, he set off to the closest town.

Appearance: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs42/f/2009/128/1/e/Dwarf_by_ReillyBrown.jpg
Ghalm is stout and muscular, no much different from any other Dwarf warrior. Unlike the picture above, his skin is noticeably darker. His large traditional dwarf beard is dark gray colored, tied into two separate, thick braids. His eyes are sky blue in color, bright and shining. He's about 4'7" in height and weighs 163 lbs. Like his weapons, Ghalm himself forged his own armor, even painting the design of it himself.

Other:

Name: Ata

Age: 25

Race: Lycan - Tigress

Gender: Female

Faction: Neutral

Magic abilities: Is skilled in healing and fire magic, but usually just uses her weapons as her form of attack.

Weapons: Spear and Shield (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100626195336/godofwar/images/7/73/Eteet_2.png), dual Throwing axes, basic Shortsword.

Interesting abilities: She is rather athletic, so she can be rather fast (and annoying) in battle. She can also fuse her tiger form with her magical fire abilities

Personality:
Ata is sarcastic and rebellious by nature. At first impressions, she isn't really the most lady-like person. She can be a glutton, has little to no patience, and just doesn't really take most things seriously when they should be. Her temper is short and she won't stand for stupid stuff. Basically, she's a child at heart, literally. She can even go as far as sitting off to the side and pouting if she doesn't win an argument. Because of this, Ata usually lives out the forests, away from other people. If you're lucky enough to become an ally or a friend with her, the change in her behavior around you is dramatic. She turns sweet, caring, but won't hold back on the truth if her opinion is asked on the subject.

History: Ata grew up in a small Lycan village with her mother and little brother. There were only few Lycan left after Harribel's takeover, so there were scattered villages in many places on the continent. It was this event that killed Ata's father, who was protecting his family. When she came of age, she began to train herself in combat with a variety of weapons. From the help of her mother, she learned healing and fire magic, though she's never learned to master it.

Soon the epidemic came, which took the lives of both her mother and her little brother, with Ata barely surviving the disease herself. In anger and selfishness, she abandoned the rest of the village behind and began to live on her own in the wilderness, living off the wildlife and edible plant life, occasionally going into town to get her weapons repaired or to simply find a temporary job.

Appearance:
Human - http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs19/f/2007/280/7/e/warrior_pin_up_by_ziggyfish.jpg
This girl puts you in mind of a tomboy. Her eyes are cloudy and gray, her gaze can seem distant. Her fine, wavy, crimson red hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a badly cut bush. Part of her hair is folded over her right eye. Her skin is nut-brown. She is of average height (5'7"), has a slightly wide-hipped build, and weighs about 143 lbs. She doesn't wear much armor, feeling that too much would weigh her down. On certain parts of her body, she has red tattoos and black strip patterns on her face, small traits of her tigress form.

o.o'

Name: Kyu Rakshi
Age: 16
Race: Elves

Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Magic abilities: Elemental - knowledge of Fire and Ice elements. Magic proficiency is at a low tier starting out

Weapons: Short, simple katana sheathed on the back, used as a temporary back-up while magic is still developing. Also armed with a small dagger at the waist. Both weapons are considerably light, which allows easier movement.

Interesting abilities: His intellect is greater than most around his age. Strategic and critical thinker which allows Kyu to love challenges. Kyu is also quite agile with more dexterity than his comrades.

Personality: Although he is almost an adult, Kyu is a kid at heart. He usually has little to say and sympathyzes with almost anyone he meets. His magic elements of choice, being opposites, reflect his conflicting feelings. While he does have a kind heart, Kyu has a short temper that is likely to flare in many disagreements, leaving him with a short period of burning hatred.

History: (Please tell me if this is too static) Kyu's story began deep in the Fujin Mountains. Born of the Rakshi clan, Kyu was to be the leading Brigadier of said clan, but that was years before. Up until now, Kyu had a plain life. He discovered his elemental powers at a young age and has had trouble becoming proficient in either of them. Still, he was comforted by his immediate family. Other members of the Rakshi clan sneered at him whenever they caught sight of him, claiming that Kyu will never amount to anything.

Around seven years ago, a band of warriors appeared in the snowy forest that the Rakshi clan had occupied. It was Elven custom to bring these people to a hospitality greaterthan how they would treat themselves. But this was a horrible mistake. The warriors had no interest in making allies. In only a few minutes, the warriors launched a major offensive against this Elven clan, killing over 80 percent of them, including Kyu's parents and sister. The remainder of the Rakshi fled from the forest. Uesho, a commanding officer, took Kyu and brought him to a safe clearing far from the village forest; however, the officer soon died of illness, leaving Kyu to fend for himself, armed only with his knowledge of magic and weapons. From eavesdropping other citizens, Kyu has learned of the revolt taking place in the nation but intends to stay clear of the clash..

Appearance: Kyu has a height of five feet and eight inches with somewhat pale skin. The bangs of his black hair reach up to his nose, but they are always pushed to the side around his eyebrows. On some occasions, a few faint streaks of brown are found in his hair as well. Unlike many of the Elves, Kyu's eyes are brown, light brown. On his left hand is a light, clear blue ring, on his right a fiery red one, both bands. These are to resemble his magic elements respectively. On his torso is a wool-materialed shirt in the color of black with beige shorts below it. On his belt lays the dagger near his right hip and the katana on his back. His slim build suits his weapons perfectly.

Name: Rosa Moon

Age: 20

Race: Elf

Gender: Female

Faction: Rebels

Magic abilities: Rosa is an adept at using Light and Elemental magic. She is a skilled spellcaster, and is in her element when fighting. She has been known to take down enemies stronger than her, and coming out with barely a scratch. She is not a 'grandmaster', but she is well on her way.

Weapons: A large metal staff, with razor sharp ends.

Interesting abilities: It is said it has something to do with Earth magic, but as long as a wall is made from any form of mineral, Rosa has been able to scale it with ease. She is also very good with Medicine, and is well-known as a healer in the Elven forests.

Personality: Rosa is a strong, independent woman. She doesn't need other people to help her do her dirty work. Capable of taking care of herself, she sees friends as only socializing partners and not much more. Her touch exterior runs deep into her emotions, and it would take the likes of every family member dying to make her shed a tear. She is, however, a caring individual, and despite her independent nature she will help those in need, seeing their suffering as inhumane.

_____

Name: Saeri

Age: 16

Race: Fairy

Gender: Female

Faction: She isn’t too happy with the Royal Army, and tends to favor the Rebels

Magic abilities: Fairies are gifted with all areas of magic, but Saeri is strongest in Nature magic, which is a mostly earth-elemental magic. It might not seem all that useful, but she can control plants and tame wild-life. She has a good hand at healing, and actually has a little control over earth, being able to move dirt, chuck rocks (ha, ha), so on. Saeri actually knows how to do certain charms, such as sleeping spells, dizzy spells, sneezing spells, and whatever else can drive people nuts.

Weapons: Minature bow and arrow that no one takes seriously, yet she tips the dart-like arrows with special herbs and potions often. Even though one sting won’t kill ya, you might get knocked out with whatever she uses.

Interesting abilities: Saeri has a way with plants. She has an immense knowledge of their uses and will use that for anything she wishes. Otherwise, she’s just a silly little fairy.

Personality: Saeri is ever the rebel, very feisty and arrogant. She doesn’t like being told what to do, and prefers to think independently. Saeri tends to be a bit touchy about being a fairy; if people automatically stereo-type her, she lashes out with vengeance. She doesn’t like people thinking that just because she’s a fairy, she’s weak, frail, and flower-headed. She works hard to overcome these stereotypes by acting tough and tomboyish, though often times she can get carried away…

History: This testy little fairy was born in the wild forests west of the Fujin Mountains. There, her people had little dealings with other races, and lived happily and peacefully from day to day. The fairies were content to spend their days tending the animals and plants of their homeland, and couldn’t be trifled with any other concern. And in all honesty, Saeri wasn’t all that content with that kind of life. She was a bit different then her kin, being much more adventurous and restless. She’d often go off exploring and end up in trouble—usually upsetting the forest’s gruffer denizens. Of course, she was rather burdensome to her family, but soon they had bigger problems to worry about then their headstrong daughter.

A lord from Harribel Castle came to inherit the land Saeri’s clan lived on, and he didn’t give it a second thought to clear the forestland to make way for farms and a new town. Abruptly, the forests fell and Saeri’s clan found themselves without a home. They were scattered abroad. Soon Saeri found herself in a tiny group that consisted of her closest family members—all who were distraught. Only she and her sister kept an even head, but when it came to decide what to do next, the two were at odds. Saeri’s sister, who had always been seen as the more mature and even-tempered one, wanted to approach things in a diplomatic way. She wanted to confront the humans and see if an agreeable recompense could be reached. Saeri just wanted to fly in and kick all their butts for being so rude.

Of course, her family decided to go with her sister’s suggestion. They went up to the lord and demanded some repayment for their lost—but they weren’t taken seriously at all. In the end, they were the ones kicked out and mocked. Saeri was infuriated, upset with both the disrespect they received, and the foolishness of her family. She went about cursing the land with her magic, making it difficult for the humans to live there. Weeds grew out of control, and foxes always managed to sneak into chicken pens—no matter what the humans did. Cattle grew sick, ditches overflowed, and roads were overgrown in a matter of weeks. But Saeri and her family left their old home in this chaos, and flew out to face the rest of the world.

They quickly found out how unforgiving it could be. Her family became the victims of several crimes, from thievery to deceit and so on. Saeri’s level-headed sister was actually kidnapped, but in the end these events only hardened Saeri. She grew street-smart and tough, and became disillusioned with the government of the West. Nowadays, she’s started to support the rebellion, hoping to get equal rights for her fairy kin.

Appearance: For a fairy, Saeri is rather lanky and—dare we say it—tall (a whole inch taller than the average pixie). Some would also say she’s not as pretty as one would expect, even with her smooth and nearly perfect complexion. She trims her chocolate-brown hair a bit on the short side, liking to spike it hedgehog-style. Her wings are like those of a dragonfly, transparent, but with a greenish-tint to them.

Other: Don’t eat my left kidney! :O

.....

Name: Dyrikoda

Age: 16

Race: Dragon Succubi

Gender: Male

Faction: Rebel

Magic abilities: Being a Succubi from the Dragon Isles, Dyrikoda has a little talent with Fire elemental magic. Though he doesn’t know too much, he knows enough to ignite the blades of his swords while in combat. After joining the rebels, he started learning some more magic, including the element of Wind. However, he is still young and learning.

Weapons: Dual Dao-like swords

Interesting abilities: Well, he’s a Dragon Succubi, so he has bat-like wings and can fly. Can’t think of much else then that. xD

Personality: Dyrikoda has a bright curiosity about the world around him, and has the thirst of adventure in him. But since he lived in a rather sheltered childhood, he tends to be a bit simple and naive at times. There’s loads of stuff that he doesn’t know or understand, but he longs to learn. At times he can be rather bold, but his bravery has yet to be tested. Still, there’s much goodness in him, and he will remain loyal to his comrades and friends. He’s not cocky, just confident in what he does. He joined the rebels for several reason, mostly because he felt that their cause was just, and because they promised to help him find his father.

History: This Succubi was born on the Dragon Roost Isles, where the race tended to be a bit secluded. Well, maybe a lot secluded. In fact, the Dragon Succubi look down at other races. They were all kinds of prideful, arrogant, and stuck-up folks in his village. Visitors were rarely admitted and closely watched if they stayed too long. For anyone growing up in this environment, it was easy to become just as conceited, but Dyrikoda had the fortunate fate of being raised by a humble and kind Succubi. Though his mother had passed away, his father, named Theynor, brought him up against the teachings of the local folk.

Theynor’s cooler attitude came from his trade as a merchant, and often he had business dealings with the people of the Harribel Kingdom. He saw past all the stereotypes and superstitions the Dragon Succubi had forged of the other races, and grew kind to those he dealt with. He passed on this new-found attitude to his son, and soon Dyrikoda grew a fascination for the realms outside his island. Both he and his father became a little enigmatic with the rest of the village, but they didn’t care. There was wisdom in spreading their gaze farther than what was right in front of them.

One day, Theynor’s latest trade with the kingdom had gone wrong, somehow. He had to go himself to sort things out, and Dyrikoda begged him to let him tag along. He was certainly old enough, and didn’t want to miss the chance to leave his island for a little while. Finally, Theynor relented and the two sailed to Amberground Port. When the seas were spread out all before them, Dyrikoda thought he was going to have a great time; he’d get to see new things, meet new people, and have a tiny adventure.

He couldn’t have been more wrong.

They made port, and found an inn to stay until Theynor could sort through his business. Dyrikoda—despite being told to stay at their room—ventured out into the streets and wandered into the marketplace for some time, getting his share of new things. He stayed out later than he meant to, and thought for certain as he made his way back that he was going to get in trouble with his dad, but when he got back to the inn, his father hadn’t returned yet. Dyrikoda thought it a little strange, but he made the excuse that perhaps things were taking longer than thought. So he waited. And waited.

Not once during that night did his father return.

The next morning, Dyrikoda woke with panic. What could be keeping his father? What was going on? The feeling of dread rose and rose within him until he couldn’t take it any longer. He left the inn and went down into the ports, seeking out the people who his father had been dealing with. He asked left and right, but no one knew who he was talking about—if they didn’t outright ignore him at first. Fighting discouragement, the boy searched all day with no success. He returned to the inn alone and frightened.

The next day, he did the only thing he could think of: go to the authorities. He went to the guards working beneath the Port’s nobleman (or however that works ^^’) and pleaded his case. He felt yet another disappointment when he received no help. The lazy guards merely said they weren’t obligated to search out for foreign riff-raff who had nothing to do with their kingdom. They also warned the boy that he’d better stop messing around, or they’d arrest him. Disgusted that they refused to help him, Dyrikoda left them and wandered around the streets hopelessly lost.

That’s when the rebels caught wind of him. Someone among them saw how the guards had treated him, and knew that they could score another potential recruit. These rebels, working secretly within the port, befriended Dyrikoda. They ended up being the ones who helped the boy scour the rest of the port for clues, and also gave him a place to stay when the inn finally kicked him out. In time, they revealed their cause to him, and Dyrikoda felt it was right. Though they hadn’t found out anything his father, the rebels promised they would continue the search if the boy joined him. And in the end, he did.

Appearance: Dyrikoda’s tall and lanky, not seeming to have much muscle to him. Of course, this might be because he’s a Dragon Succubi—with bat-like wings, dragon tail, fangs, and amber eyes. Yet as typical of his race, there’s a certain handsomeness behind these draconic features that makes him as handsome as any modern fashion models: a smooth, strong-jawed face, crisp brown hair falling just below his pointed ears, and an disarming smile (even with the fangs). Despite all his good looks, however, Dyrikoda’s as oblivious as a little boy.

Other: A lot of these island names seemed to have come from the Wind Waker LOZ…

Feel free to ask me any questions. She isn't as crazy as she seems at first glance.

Character is copyright of me. Any similar theft, use, duplication will have heavy consequences.

FINALLY
I'd like to add a new form to Ryu's arsenal:

Eclimancy Form: (http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t100/Saraibre/100_1078.jpg) Picture is mine, steal and you die
A cross of Alls End and Necromancy, this form was specifically made to vent out the powers of Nothingness and her blood magic of Necromancy. This form is slightly larger than her Necromancy form, and she is capable of spit-fire, basically shooting viscous violet flames that become stronger the more damage that is done to her, as it is ignited by her blood. This is a more rounded, and more sane form. Ryu can be bipedal or quadruped, and her armor is hard enough to give her some endurance. Yes, she has spikes on her arms and her tail is often used to slash or spear her enemies.

Very good, very good; now go post!

And another one from me.

Name: Argos Valentine

Age: 28 (Roughly)

Race: Lycan; a chimerical cross between humanoid features and demonic ones, animal of origin undeterminable, may have been a vampire bat.

Gender: Male

Faction: Independent; Prefers to do whatever is necessary for the situation in the interests of his species as a whole.

Magic abilities: High proficiency in Shadow magic, can fire concentrated bursts of energy from his hands with sufficient magic power.

Weapons: Claws; A pair of black gauntlets that seem fused with his hands, they are as sharp as any sword, and these are usually considered more deadly than some of his other weapons.

Dark Memento; An ancient black sword with thin green runes running up the blade. It looks to be stone, and flares out into a rounded two-pronged shape at the end. Once belonged to Luna's father.

Black Shadow; A black handgun modified to have three barrels and store up to thirty shots before requiring a reload, it was forged with the intent of close-range combat despite the two foot barrel. It can weather sword blows well, and packs a powerful kick, but at the cost of being extremely difficult to use and having a lengthy reload when it is out of shots.

Interesting abilities: Possesses the power of flight, but keeps his wings hidden in the form of a cape (How he accomplishes this is unknown). Also possesses the ability to cook well and has above-average melee fighting skills, to the point where he can use his gun to similar effects as his sword or claws.

Personality: Argos is most often described as being somber and a bit quiet, though he doesn't mind conversing with others. He is friendlier than his looks would lead you to think, and unlike some of his species has no qualm with humans further than what they bring upon themselves. He sticks to the moral side of things most of the time, but he has shown before that he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty if that's what it takes. He prefers not to make strong relationships with people after a previous event in his life, but those who have befriended him on some level have found out that he holds a fierce loyalty to anyone he deems worth his effort to defend. He doesn't use humor too much, but when he does his preferred vein of it is sarcasm, though he does give occasional jokes. He is oddly energetic despite acting so much like he doesn't care.

History: Argos Valentine was the younger brother of Luna Valentine's father, and grew up in the same village. He was considered a bit of an oddity because of his choice of such an unorthodox animal, a vampire bat, to transform in to, but that didn't stop any of them from being friendly to him or liking him. He was a bit more well known than his brother because of his strange choices in weapons, fighting style and even trade, but the two got along as well as two brothers could. Argos didn't marry, or even search for a wife, while his brother did, and his brother raised a family while he was perfecting his fighting style and pursuing work as a guard of the town. However, a change in the demeanor of the people in town led to them starting to hold Argos in contempt, accusing him of several crimes he didn't commit, despite him being elsewhere when they happened. He was actively involved in helping raise his niece Luna when she was born, and was around just as much as her father, if at different times. He was happy for his brother, even if the rest of the small village seemed to be hating him for so much as existing for reasons he couldn't wring from his former friends. As it turned out, one of the town elders had learned of a prophecy that said that ruin would befall the village if someone matching Argos's description took the form of a bat at his coming of age. Though Argos had no idea, no one seemed willing to give him the benifit of the doubt-- In fact, they thought he was going to bring it about.

Years passed, and Argos put up with the treatment, finding a place of refuge at his brother's home and helping to raise his niece as best he could-- Mostly in helping her mother with various odd jobs and keepign the young girl entertained with stories and games. Eventually, this came to an end when, roughly twelve years after the people of his village had begun to resent him, a band of roving warriors happened upon their village and attacked. Argos did the best he could to help hold off the soldiers, but there were too many for their villages small fighting force to hold off, and the town ended up burned to the ground. Somehow, he wasn't killed by the attack, and when the soldiers had gone, he regained consciousness to find most everyone dead or dying, including his brother. Before he died, his brother passed on the family heirloom, a black sword that had survived the fighting, to him and request that he find and look after Luna, who he had told to run away when the fighting started. Argos agreed, and though he searched for his niece for months, he couldn't find her anywhere near; the trail had gone cold, and had been marred by the passing of animals, preventing him from getting a bearing on where she might have gone. Disheartened, Argos gave up after a year of searching and finding nothing, wandering south until he came upon the human settlement of Amberground. There he 'fell in' with the company of a pair called Neon and Hyde, a pair of postmen who served as a combination of a first defense and a postal service in Amberground alongside the rest of the post. They were Lycans, similar to he, but they didn't quite have his problems. Though he hadn't noticed it at first, he found he couldn't turn into his animal form any longer, instead exhibiting several traits from different creatures he couldn't place, which included his claws (And even he can't tell if they're gauntlets or his actual hands) and wings. He decided he would say he was simply a chimera when asked about it and move on, without much further mention. Argos has remained in Amberground since then, and helps defend the port city against various creatures and threats. Some tried to get him to side with the rebellion, but he has no interest in the human civil war beyond people will get hurt and need to be kept safe. Unknown to him, he's almost found his niece quite a few times, but ended up not finding her because of the changes brought about when he was struck down interfering with his ability to track her by scent in animal form, and likewise it probably prevented her from discovering him as well.

Appearance: Argos (http://media.photobucket.com/image/darkrai/tru1337geek/Gijinka/Male/Darkrai1.jpg?o=763) is a lithe young man that wears a red shirt and white tie beneath a black cloak and pants. His hair is naturally white and had grown to be quite long, and he has a dark red cape that is actually his wings carefully folded over each other. He has greenish-blue eyes that bear slit pupils.

Other: Anything not fitting in the above categories.
