Eh, I consider it more like they saw something in him. He is more animalistic then others - he growls, squeaks, whimpers, roars, hisses, chirps...Lol.

Interesting note is that his story self (who is 33, not 28) was afraid of canines for a while because he was attacked by a wolf when young XD His counterpart, Nazo (in my story Dark Storm. He was the "original"), still suffers from that fear...Despite the fact he has immense control over darkness XD

Although if you have bad aim...Well, I think a lot of the characters around here wouldn't want getting a foot long shaft buried in their hide.

This is not really true. Yes, a bow and arrow are light, but there is much more to archery than that. Every bow has something called a draw weight. This tells you how many pounds of pull you use to bring the string to it's full length. These days, one can get incredible power without so much draw weight with the use of recent advances in the technology of bows. But even with this technology it still takes a lot of strength. Unfortunately, people during the time period that this rp is set in did not have this luxury. Most bows, at least those used for warfare, were longbows. These bows could be larger than a full grown man and weigh only a few pounds. Those few pounds are nothing, but once you consider that a longbow could easily reach 180+ lbs of draw weight then it's not such an easy task. This means that you need to be able to exert, and hold for an indefinite period of time, at least 180 lbs of pull on the string to bring it to it's full length. Not only that, but an experienced archer could loose about 11 arrows per minute. This means that in just under 6 second you would have to string an arrow, draw the string, aim, and release and you ought to be hitting your target otherwise you just wasted 6 seconds and an arrow.

There were short bows during this time but they still require a lot of strength to get the maximum power out of them.

Random fact: archers were, at first, the lowest rank in an army. It's rather ironic when you think about it: archers often did more damage than the knights who were one of the highest ranking members of an army.

Admittedly this is an rp and we already have a few crazy weapons but a bow is certainly not a weapon for someone with low arm strength. Your average longsword weighed a tiny amount compared to the draw weight of a bow. Most longswords only weigh 2-4 lbs. They still require a lot of strength since you will be slashing, cutting, and whatever else with it but it still weighs noticeably less. In fact, a longsword is usually held with 2 hands which means you've got about 2 lbs per hand. It's really not much when you think about it.

If you want a light weapon that fits the time period then your best bet is probably a small sword or a very small bow. A small bow isn't worth much though in terms of fighting. You can fire faster but you lose a ton of power as well as range...which kind of defeats the purpose of attacking from a distance.

It's a good thing the one character I have that uses a bow (in my story) has tremendous strength, then 0o'

I like Pit's (Kid Icarus, also in Smash Bros Brawl) bow. It's small, fires arrows of light, and can separate into two daggers <3 AWESOME.

And don't worry Nova. Skye doesn't know any fire spells (his Master Shinto does, however...). Her fear is better - rather be paralyzed with fear of fire than go berserk at the sight of blood 0o'

Wow, forgot about this XD

So, yeah, the village is saved right now. I just forgot to clear something up about Skye - his Past Sight only works on objects, or non-living things.

So yes, a body would count. Seeing as it's no longer "alive", it's just an object. That's how he found out what happened to Cryo. His gloves protect him from accidentally activating it and passing out during battle.

Another interesting note is that he can't use an axe. He freezes up if he touches one (and is a little more clumsy when around one). He still has the axe he used to kill his grandfather - it's twisted from dark matter, but still an axe. Weird thing is is that the Past Sight only activates once for a given object, but this axe activates it every time he touches it. He can hold it, but if he lets go and touches it again - BAM. The same nightmarish scene of him chopping his grandpa to bits @.@

I've been off and on, lately. Sorry about that everyone; living in New Jersey now, and I have to apply for a job soon...Not to mention college. I've been thinking of areas, though...

Second orb - Mountain Ruins (Destroyed)
Third orb - Volcano Ruins
Fourth orb - Whirlpool Ruins
Fifth orb - Sky Ruins
Sixth orb - Underground Ruins

Oh, a mystery orb? I wonder...

So yeah, I'll update this as places are destroyed and what not. And I already know where they all are <3
