From games we often get the impression that a game will be much better than it turns out to be, im curious to see what people expect to be GOTY 2011.

Just to name a few I'll be looking forward to: SCII: Heart of the swarm, Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, Diablo III.
I'm not too interested in MW3 for some reason. Maybe because Cod4 still outdoes any COD to date in my eyes.

Probably Catherine; Atlus has never let me down. It should be Skyward Sword, but I just can't trust Nintendo 3 after Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. The mandatory use of Wii Motion Plus just seems like a terrible idea that will no doubt drag the game down since it isn't actually 1-1 movement, and you have to constantly recalibrate the controller.

Hmm, Mass Effect 3.(Trailer had me tearing up man)

Also, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Bulletstorm, and Duke Nukem Forever.

Minecraft Complete. It's not even finished yet, and already it's being nominated for awards.

Duke Nukem Forever. Come on, guys. Just the fact its actually getting released after so long and so many doubts is something to celebrate.

It's gonna be a three way tie between Uncharted 3, Skyrim, and Mass Effect 3. All three are all but guaranteed to have no flaws. Though I'm definitely looking at InFAMOUS 2 to be incredible.

- Mass Effect 3: The culmination of an amazing series, whose gameplay is catching up to the epic nature of its story. With the kind of set up the end of 2 gave it (epic ending), how can it go wrong?

- Skyrim: Bethsheba (sp?) creates amazing open worlds, and Skyrim looks to be taking a step forward in all categories.

But, my pick goes to Old Republic. Bioware is an amazing company, the KOTOR series is the ship, and they're going to be voice acting pretty much everything in a bloody MMO. Oh, and it's Star Wars.

Im raging at old republic cause I didnt get a beta slot as far as I'm aware, which displeases me.

It's down to Mass Effect 3, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Duke Nukem Forever for me. Love all three series, and I'll give the slight edge to Mass Effect due toTalithe fact that Bioware has yet to let me down with their games, while a few characters in MvC3 are "do not want" for me, and who knows how the new Duke Nukem game will be (although I doubt I'll care, like Neo said, the fact its happening is amazing enough).

Bioshock Infinite or Skyrim.

Bioshock Infinite or Skyrim.

BioShock is slated for a 2012 release, so I don't think it will win GOTY2011. :p

I somehow doubt that Catherine work make 2011, but it will certainly be a contender for 2011/2012 on the merits of its literary prowess that hasn't been seen since Bioware.

ME3 a definite contender as well.

SC2: Heart of the Swarm is unlikely going to be out in 2011 as well. 2012 sounds more like it, and it would be GOTY that year. I'm totally not biased at all. ;)
