Twenty years have passed since Pharaoh Atem separated from Yugi Moto and returned to the spirit realm. Kaiba Corp has just finished the construction of Duelist Academy. In honor of this grand opening, Seto Kaiba hosts a tournament in which his son participates. In the final battle, Robert Kaiba and Yugi's child face off, but something happens. As the powerful energies of the Winged Dragon of Ra and Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon collide, a rift opens up, pulling several people into a strange new world.

This new world is filled with strange, power-wielding creatures known as Pokemon. But these creatures are not the only mystery. For each duelist, they find that the one card each one holds closest to their hearts has become real and can speak and act of their own accord. While they can still use their dueling disks to battle, only the realistic monsters can actually fight and interact with the environment outside the holograms.

Pokemon World

A strange darkening cloud has spread out over the land of Sinnoh, and seven rays of golden light shoot out, each one landing in different parts of Sinnoh. Each one was a golden artifact, each one holding a mysterious power. Professor Rowan found one item, the Millennium Puzzle, while Griffon, leader of the newly reformed Team Rocket, has come into possession of the Millennium Necklace.

The other five artifacts would be found by various trainers, and each would discover the power of the items. They would also find one or more of the duelists from another world. Only two of them would know the truth about the items: Robert Kaiba and Yugi's child. For Team Rocket, finding these items have become top priority as they hold the key to untold, forbidden power. For the duelists, they are the only means of returning home.

Your Role

You can play as either a duelist from Earth, or a trainer from the Pokemon World. Original cannons from Yu-Gi-Oh cannot be played, but their offspring can be. Cannons from Pokemon can be played.

For duelists, your most treasured card monster becomes your traveling companion. While all of your other cards have no effect outside holographic duels, your bonded card monster can be effected by equipment cards or spell cards that can cause them to 'evolve' (ie. laying out two holographic Blue Eyes and using Fusion to meld them with the real Blue Eyes will evolve it to Blue Eyes Ultimate). Your companion monster can be summoned and recalled in the same way as Pokemon, only using the card instead of a Pokeball.

For the trainers who find the millennium items, here is a list of the items and their power:

# Millennium Eye - Allows holder to look into another's surface thoughts
# Millennium Ring - Acts as a compass to the other Millennium Items as well as can turn wearer invisible
# Millennium Scale - Allows the user to decern truth from lies
# Millennium Key - Allows user to look into the souls of others; renders the user unconscious when this occurs
# Millennium Rod - Allows the user to command the minds of those who are weak-willed. Also allows the ability to telepathically communicate with others.

The Millennium Puzzle is in the hands of the Professor. Since the soul inside was freed, it acts only as a key for opening the portal once the other items are gathered, and will only work at a specific place. The Millennium Necklace, in the hands of Griffon, allows him glimpses into the future.

1.> No Godmoding.
2.> Keep romance PG-13
3.> Only the bonded card monsters can have any effect in the physical world (ie. Dark Magician can hurt a Dusknoir with Dark Magic attack, but your other cards are simply holographic and will only effect other dueling holographs)
4.> No legends. Also, you cannot use any of the God Cards or Exodia as your bonded monster. Your bonded monster must be at it's lowest version if it has other versions (ie. You can have Red Eyes Black Dragon as your monster, but not Red Eyes Darkness Dragon without using the appropriate cards)
5.> Upgrading bonded monsters only last for a battle. After the battle, they revert to their normal form (ie. You upgrade Dark Magician to Magician of Black Chaos to fend off a horde of Beedrill, but when the battle is over, he reverts to Dark Magician.)
6.> No more than 2 characters per player: One duelist, one trainer
7.> Remain active. Post at least 2-3 times a week.

Name: Robert Kaiba
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Deck Theme: Lockdown
Bonded Monster: Blue Eyes White Dragon (Dragon Form (http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll138/yamiyugi_01/167x33.jpg) / Spirit Form (http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l76/HikariRaAngel/Yu-Gi-Oh/Kisara/ygo47.jpg))

Personality: Like his father, Robert has a sharp mind and level head. Unlike his father however, he is more capable of making friends and admitting when he's wrong. He's loyal to the friends he does make. He is also very shrewd when it comes to business, often able to barter well and come out on top of business deals as his father had taught him. in duels, he's every bit as cunning and ruthless as his father, but like his father's rival, he puts his faith in the heart of the cards.

Bio: Robert was born to Seto and a fire-starter of a mother named Julia, a duelist from America who was able to give Kaiba almost as great a challenge as Yama Yugi did. Robert was raised to be a businessman and a duelist of top caliber. However, Robert didn't let all the sternness sink into him. He still enjoyed going to school and making new friends. He also enjoyed dueling for fun, taking losses as experience. Much to his father's slight displeasure, he became friends with the Moto family and Seto's eternal rival Yugi. His father more strongly disapproved of him spending time with the Moto and Wheeler families, but Robert did so anyways because he enjoyed their company.

Robert eventually became known as one of the world's top duelists, along with young Moto. The two were fierce rivals, but unlike Seto and Yugi, they were also close friends. During their last duel in the tournament held in honor of his father's Dueling Academy, Robert ended up getting pulled into a strange portal that was opened when his Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon was locked in combat with Moto's Winged Dragon of Ra. When he awoke, he found himself in a strange land. Even stranger still was that the creature that woke him was his Blue Eyes White Dragon.

Pokemon: None ATM

Name: Max
Gender: Male
Age: 15

Millennium Item: Millennium Eye

Personality: Max is your typical Know-It-All, but he's also very friendly. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and alot of courage. he'll do anything for his Pokemon and his friends. he can be very cocky however, though his Gardevoir keeps him in check. He can also be a bit of a show-off, and tends to get into fights with his sister May from time to time. However, he loves his sister and is always willing to help her out or cheer her up.

Bio: Max is the son of Petalburg's gym leader Norman. When May brought Ash to the gym, Max decided to mess with Ash's head for a bit. When May told her parents she was leaving to travel with Ash, Max decided to go along with them.

During his journeys, he made alot of new friends, both human and Pokemon. The three Pokemon he had perhaps the strongest connections to were the Ralts he saved, Deoxys and Jirachi. When he finally became a trainer and received Treeko from Professor Birch, he went straight to the Pokemon Center where he saved Ralts and reunited with her. He eventually ran into other old Pokemon friends: namely Shuppet and Mightyena.

Eventually after coming in 16th place in the Hoenn championships, Max traveled to Sinnoh. On the way, he helped out a school of Lapras that were being attacked by poachers. The youngest of the herd joined Max's team. Upon reaching Sinnoh, he battled and captured a Shinx.

On his way to Hearthome City to watch his sister compete for the Grand Festival, a storm came from out of nowhere. His Gardevoir drew Max's attention to the lights in the sky. One of those golden lights landed right at his feet with a brilliant golden flash. The storm had ended as soon as it began. The item looked like a strange eyeball made of gold.

Pokemon: Gardevoir, Shuppet, Grovyle, Luxray, Lapras, Mightyena

I've decided against my duelist, but here is my trainer.

Name: Jason
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Millennium Item: Millennium Ring
Personality: Jason has always kept to himself. He grew up with no real friends other than his Pokemon. He does not interact with people if there is a way around it. He has little real regard for humans, but he doesnít go out of his way to hurt them. He can be surprisingly outgoing and helpful towards Pokemon sometimes, though. Heís very serious and little phases him, but if you mess with him or his Pokemon, heís likely to snap. If he does, he will lash out at just about anyone near him. Luckily, Sophie is always there to calm him down.
Bio: Jason grew up in Olivine City with no real friends other than his Pokemon. He didnít mind being by himself. His parents where murdered in front of him when he was nine. After that he became even more secluded and was sent to live with his Uncle in Ecruteak City, who didnít want him and was an abusive drunk. He just tried to avoid his uncle and was rarely home. One night when he was 14, he came home to find his uncle in a particularly bad mood. Sophie defended him and was hurt badly. This sent Jason over the edge and he killed his uncle. He took Sophie to the Pokecenter and was out of town by morning.
With no better ideas, he went back to Olivine. He lived on the streets for a few months and then ended up joining Team Rocket at the recommendation of another boy he had met on the streets. He quickly made himself well known amongst the Rockets. Though he was offered promotions he never accepted any extra responsibility. Despite this he was often given important jobs. When he found the Millennium Ring he kept it to himself. Griffon doesnít know he has the ring but was told to look for more of the powerful items.
Sophie F
Sophie is very caring. She keeps Jason in line and calms him down if he gets to angry. If it wasnít for Sophie, Jason would probably be an insane serial killer.
Jasonís family found Sophie as a baby less than a month after he was born. The two of them quickly bonded and are always together. When Jason joined Team Rocket, Sophie wasnít too happy but still went along with it. Sheíll never leave Jason, but would love to see him leave Team Rocket.
Nitrate M
Nitrate is defiantly the not the brains of the group, but heís got the brawn to make up for it and is fiercely loyal. He would die protect Jason or any of his Pokemon. He trusts Jason completely.
Jason found Nitrate as a Nidoran outside of Ecruteak City. He battled and beat him and Nitrate has given him the utmost respect since then.
Zeke M
Zeke is obnoxious and tends to be a bully. Heís extremely stubborn and will go against Jason if he thinks he should. He tends to get in over his head, but Sophie beats him into line.
Jason caught Zeke after he tried to steal his food. The mischievous Quilava tried to steal his pack but woke Sophie in the process. After a short chase through the forest and a battle, Jason caught the reluctant fire Pokemon.
Minerva F
Minerva, or Minnie as she is much more commonly called, is very cheery despite the hardships her first trainer put her through. Sheís not the best at battling, but she always tries her hardest to please Jason. She sees Sophie as a protector and mentor.
Jason found Minnie while he was stealing something for Team Rocket. She belonged to one of the guards who hardly took care of her. After knocking the guard unconscious, Sophie insisted on taking her with them. Zeke tends to pick on her, but Sophie always defends her.
