Round 1
The bout began with no time to delay, as Snivy began to charge its grass energies. Snivy's cry filled the stadium as its eyes began to glow a tint of green. Suddenly, wind began to below within the stadium, as Snivy summoned Leaf Storm from what seemed like all corners of the field, and beyond. The leaves violently swarmed around Snivy as the wind grew stronger, giving Snivy quite the menacing look. Togepi, unafraid, smiled and began to wiggle its two arms back and forth. As it slowly wiggled, its tiny paws became enveloped in a orange tint. The stronger the tint became, the brighter the sun began to shine, as if Togepi were summoning the sun. [Togepi: -13 Energy] While Togepi danced to the sun, Snivy attack grew only stronger before finally, the Grass type cried out and threw its arms forward, sending the storm of leaves at Togepi. The wind that carried them attacked Togepi viciously, trapping the Baby Pokémon in a frenzy of leaves, slashing at the Normal type enveloped in the assault. As quickly as it came, the attack dissipated, leaving Togepi battered, but still fighting. [Togepi: -11 HP/Snivy: -1 SPATK, -14 Energy] Snivy had no plans of letting Togepi rest, as it began to charge across the leaf covered field, its tail glowing a bright green. Togepi wasted no time either, opening its mouth and gathering Fire energy for an assault. As Snivy closed in on its target, it swung its tail fiercely, slashing directly in the center of Togepi's shell - it's weak point. [Togepi: -14 HP/Snivy: -12 Energy] The Spike Ball Pokémon slid across the grass, reeling from the strike, but had not lost its focus for its Fire attack. Suddenly, a bolt of Fire let loose from Togepi's mouth, and with no time to dodge, Snivy was hit head on, as the bolt exploded into a flaming star, engulfing Snivy and the field around it. [Snivy: -18 HP/Togepi -17 Energy] The fire quickly died down as Snivy was left facing Togepi, still smoking as it stared down the battered Normal type.

ROUND TWO

Tsutarja began to rip up stalks of grass, knitting them with some skill into a rough outline of a shape like its own. She then opened her mouth, pouring energy into the white smoke that came out of her. It gathered into tendrils of ethereal white, which in turn formed into a white sphere in front of her. The sphere floated down into the Tsutarja skeleton, filling it with life and color and turning it into what appeared to be a shadowy, somewhat grassy copy of Tsu – the grass giving it a ‘backbone’, so to speak. Tsutarja leaned forward, giving a heavy pant as the life force she’d put into the doll caught up to her.
Togepi reviewed her conditionals for a few seconds, then decided a boost was appropriate and began to focus all her darker thoughts together; a pang of hate stole through her as she watched her opponent bending down to rest behind her little decoy. Togepi had wonderfully awful thoughts about things like Garchomps munching the grass snake, and she gave a grin of dark satisfaction at the fantasy.
Tsutarja straightened, ready to once more go on the offensive. She begin to focus her energy, concentrating it into the ordinarily flimsy leaves on her tail. The aforementioned foliage began to glow bright green, becoming flat and rigid...
And sharp. Very sharp.
Tsu rushed forward, moving with surprising speed for such a stubby-legged Pokemon. She leaped into the air, flipping, and came down with her tail poised like a cleaver at Togepi. The little egg-monster let out a high-pitched wail as the sharp tail cut her, trapping her against the razor edge and the floor. She tucked her feet in and skidded on the arena floor, feeling indignant.
She stood up, glaring daggers at the Tsutarja as several of her more attractive fantasies floated into her mind. She concentrated on the fiery, burning feeling of this rage, and within seconds she could feel flames bubbling up in her stomach. Her body heated, her mouth feeling raw as the fire singed the tender skin within. She opened her slim jaws, letting out a surge of crimson flame. Tsutarja leaped quickly to the side as her decoy stood faithfully to absorb the dire flame. When the fire faded, the substitute and the floor beneath it had a fine coating of black ashes, but they were both unharmed.
“You mad?” Tsutarja mouthed at Togepi with crossed arms as the ‘sweet’ little thing gave her a look that could have given a Trecko pause.
This fight was still just getting started.

Tsu coughs twice, appearing for all intents and purposes to have something stuck in her throat. This, however, is false. In reality, she is pulling a thick purple goop from a sac hidden near her stomach. The poisonous sludge gathers in her mouth, pooling at the base as she hocks up more and more, before finally cocking her head back and spitting it out. Unfortunately for her, Togepi has been carefully watching this entire time, and is already tensed and ready to move. The moment Tsu lets the Toxic fly, she dives to the side, retracting into her shell and rolling several yards away. The toxic puddle lands harmlessly on the ground, killing a large patch of grass before dissipating.

Togepi pops out of her shell, using one stubby hand to halt her momentum. It's her turn to go on the offensive. She pushes herself to her feet and channels energy to her mind, tapping into the latent Psychic powers that many non-Psychic types, even some humans, possess. Her eyes glow blue as she latches the strength of her mind to Tsu's life force. The Substitute's power automatically redirects her hold to the double, but Togepi has as much of a grudge against the manikin as she does against the real deal. The Substitute's outline glows the same azure shade as Togepi's eyes, and an invisible force lifts it up into the air a good few meters, before a swift chopping motion of Togepi's hand sends it crashing into the ground. The glow fades from both Togepi's eye's and the Substitute's body, as Togepi can't actually hold the power for long, but the damage is done. Though the double is able to stand up, its body is laced with cracks, and a portion of its skull is missing, revealing the hollow interior.

Annoyed by both the state of her Substitute and her missed Toxic attack, Tsu runs forward, straight past the copy designed to protect her, and leaps into the air. Her leafy tail glows a brilliant emerald green and grows several inches longer, while thinning out at the base to form a long blade. Her body spins, and the tail strikes directly across Togepi's midsection, scoring it and leaving a long scratch. It doesn't cut all the way through though, meaning that the only additional trouble caused is the need to buff out the scratch, but the attack still hurts and sends Togepi on her backside. With a satisfied smirk on her face, Tsu returns to her former position with three increasingly high backflips.

Togepi pulls herself to her feet, glaring once more at her foe. She copies Tsu's actions from the beginning of the exchange, coughing and hacking to pull a toxic poisonous substance into her mouth. Tsu, watching this and knowing exactly what happens, just smirks even more, her eyes narrowing in a fit of absolute pure smug. Togepi grins evilly, and lets loose, sending her Toxic attack flying. It sails perfect and true, headed directly towards Tsu's face... and then hits a different Snivy. Specifically, Tsu's Substitute, who has jumped in the way. It hits the manikin between the eyes-or eye, rather, as the other one has broken off-and seeps into its body, completely useless. Togepi stamps the ground in a fit of rage uncharacteristic of its species as Tsu looks on, feeling so very superior.

Tsu smirks at her opponent, lifting her thin, delicate arms to face her. Her palms face towards Togepi, and glow, surrounded by two bubbles of green energy. Thin tendrils snake out of the bubbles quick as a flash, but Togepi is ready for them. She withdraws into her shell and performs a similar rolling maneuver to before, anxious to get out of the way. Unlike with the Toxic though, Tsu is still in command of this attack. She twists her body slightly, utilizing her advantage in speed, and the energy responds swiftly, chasing after Togepi's rolling form. They easily overtake her, and push through her shell in a manner that the Japanese would find extremely interesting.

A rush of energy surges through Tsu's body, repairing some of the damage that has been done to her. She grins, and jumps. Her tail glows and morphs into her green blade. She curls into a ball and spins, coming down hard on Togepi's body. She bounces off and lands a distance away from Togepi, looking over her shoulder with her smug eyes.

Togepi pops out of her shell. Her face has lost its expression of rage because by now there's really no point to being angry. It's not worth the energy by now. She coughs a little, pulling a bit of Toxic slime up. She knows already that she won't hit Tsu, so instead she just spits it directly at the sub, nailing it in the chest. This does nothing. Predictably. Togepi sighs. This is not going well.

Both Pokemon continue their peaceful rest. They both breathe in and out slowly, heavily. Fortunately, their previous round's rest had calmed down their nerves quite a bit--their breathing was not shallow any more. They knew they had to make the most out of the action's rest, knowing that right afterwards they would have to face off once more. They knew they would attack each other again, so they tried their best to soothe their body. They continued this for a few more moments before standing up with renewed strength. [Snivy +6 Energy/Togepi +6 Energy]

Being the faster of the two, Tsu gets to move first. She jumps, full of energy, her power surging towards her tail. Her tail glows a bright green color, the aura transforming it into something shaped very much like a blade. She then quickly charges towards the Togepi, going as fast as her little legs could carry her. The Grass Snake Pokemon curled into an orb, except for her tail which stuck out. And, just at the right moment, she seemed to have jumped up into the air, uncurling herself in the process. Gravity pulls her down, her blade-like tail slamming harshly onto the opponent. [Snivy -12 Energy/Togepi -14HP]

With that, the grass type jumps back--not all the way back to her area, but quite far enough, she thinks. Togepi starts shaking off the pain that the Leaf blade had caused. She was surprised at how much damage it had inflicted, it seemed like it was twice what it had been two rounds ago. Perhaps Tsu had gotten stronger over three chills? Or not...

Anyhow, the Spike Ball Pokemon started initiating her attack. Its beak, as well as the surrounding areas, started glowing brightly white. Her stubby short legs started to move; started swinging into motion. As more energy traveled to her mouth, her feet were propelling her swiftly towards the Snivy. At exactly the right time, according to her, she leapt forwards. Her beak crashed roughly into the Snivy's Substitute, pushing the enemy's clone back, tearing it to shreds. The force of the attack managed to break the sub, making the Snivy vulnerable to future attacks. [Snivy's SUB -7HP, SUB Breaks/Togepi -11 Energy]

Both Pokémon were barely hanging on to their consciousness by this point. By some miracle, Tsu managed to stand up straight between her deep inhalations and observe the field around her. She could see Togepi, who was preparing some sort of attack to hit her with. Remembering her trainer’s orders she set to work trying to find a way to dodge the attack; since she had been given no orders on how to dodge it, she decided to go down the most straightforward route and use Protect. She created a shimmering green shield in front of herself – now she would be safe from whatever the enemy was planning.

The enemy in question was preparing to level the field a little. As she remembered all the times the Snivy had hurt her, her stubby arms began to glow a violent red. Angrily, she swore that her opponent would be paid back for all the hurting that she felt now. She charged at the wavering grass type, who was trying desperately to keep her shield up. As the red hands collided with the green shield neither Pokémon wanted to be defeated, but one had to be. Eventually, the amount of energy needed to keep the shield up became too much for Tsu to bear. She collapsed into the grass and didn’t get up. Togepi looked from her fallen foe to her glowing arms, which were now dimming considerably; she felt cheated of her kill but was glad that the whole ordeal was over.
