i've heard that if you get a certain amount of launches you get to go into space and catch Deoxys or Jirachi.

Not at all. =P To my knowledge, the space center is of no real importance. In Emerald, you stop Team Magma from doing something. That's the only thing that happens there.

I hear things like this all the time. Usally if anything like that was to happen in any game, honestly, don't you think it would be pointed out somehow? It cant be true because there is already a way to catch these pokemon.

Whoever you heard that from is on some serious crack.

Deoxys can only be obtained through a Nin Event, and Jirachi from pre-ordering Colluseum. :oops:
