Now, I'm playing through White and decided I needed a replacement for gurdurr since I don't got any pokemon playing friends who got B/W and my wifi security is too high for my old ds lite.

Current Team:

Samurott Lv. 56
False Swipe

Samurott got unresisted STAB and is my lead mon.
False SWipe is for catching purposes.

Lilligant Lv. 54
Own Tempo
Quiver Dance
Petal Dance
Sleep Powder
Giga Drain

Imagine this scenario: Lilligant comes in, sleep powders on first turn. Quiver dance till opponent wakes up and the sweeps the rest of the team with petal danc without confusion

Krookodile Lv. 50
Rock Slide

This is one of my many sweepers.
Dig is until it learns EQ and crunch is second STAB.
Rock Slide for coverage against those pesky flying and ice mons who tries to kill it.
Sandstorm will be replaced with either stat booster or coverage move.

Braviary Lv. 60
Sheer Force
Shadow Claw
Rock Slide

My favorite pokemon, and another physical sweeper.
Don't ask about the hm's, they are STAB and works well.
the other moves is for coverage.

Eelektross Lv. 54
Flash/ U-turn
Wild Charge

Wild Charge is for Stab and the others is as usual Coverage moves.
I switch to Flash during cave exploring.

I go for Type coverage and then looks. Stats is just a bonus.
I don't IV breed or EV train, and will never do.
Items are not decided yet, I need some help with that too.

Type coverage attacking list:

Normal: only one SE and that is Revenge.
Fighting: Braviary STABs with Fly and Eelektross Acrobatics is SE but non-STAB. Krookodile's got SE STAB Dig too.
Flying: Braviary and Krookodile got non stab rock slide, Eelektross STAB Wild Charge.
Poison: STAB Dig. Nothing else.
Ground: Samurott and Lilligant STABs 'em to death. Did you know flying wasn't SE? I didn't.
Rock: Same as above but with the addition of Krookodile.
Bug: Braviary STAB's or non-STAB's. Krookodile can also non-STAB.
Ghost: non-STAB crunch from Krook and Tross.
Steel: Non-STAB revenge or STAB dig.
Fire: STAB Surf, STAB Dig or non-STAB Rock Slide.
Water:STAB from Lilligant or Eelektross.
Grass: Flying, STAB or non-STAB, maybe U-Turn.
Electric: Dig 'em till they are defeated.
Psychic: STAB or non-STAB Crunch.
Ice: Revenge or Rock Slide. No STAB's.
Dragon: Neutral Attacks only.
Dark: Revenge or U-Turn, neither is STAB.

KEY: Neutral=neutral:100%
SE: super effective:200%
DSE:double super effective:400%
NVE: not very effective:50%
HNVE: halve not very effective: 25%

Type coverage Defensive list:
Normal: all neutral
Fighting: 4 neutral, 1 SE
Flying: 1NVE, 3neutral, 1SE
Poison: 1NVE, 3 neutral, 1SE
Ground: 2immune, 1NVE, 1neutral
Rock: 1NVE, 3neutral, 1SE
Bug: 1NVE, 2neutral, 1SE
Ghost:1immune, 1NVE, 3 neutral
Steel:2NVE, 3neutral
Fire:1NVE, 3neutral, 1SE
Water: 2NVE, 2neutral, 1SE
Grass: 2NVE, 1 neutral, 2SE
Electric:1immune, 2NVE, 2SE
Psychic: 1immune, 4neutral
Ice: 1NVE, 1neutral, 3SE
Dragon: 5 neutral
Dark:1NVE, 4neutral.

That's about all, ell me if I should add anything.

If this is the Elite Four your facing, your good. Their levels are around the high 40's-low 50's, and the highest level you'll face is level 54. They've got no hope against this team, Gurdurr or no Gurdurr. You can swap him out for Reshiram when it's over.

If that's NOT where you are, PLEASE SPECIFY, So I can help you out with that. I can't help if I don't know where you are and what your facing.

meh, thought I wrote that. Anyway, I'm after the first E4 encounter, caught some legendaries and almost explored everything. Trying to beat E4 a second time.

Been thinking about Bisharp but it might be bad with a double fighting weakness with no one to switch in for less than neutral damage.

If THAT'S the case...Have you caught Kyurem yet? The thing is at Level 70 or something like that, and as it has high attack power in both offensive stats, it can help loads. If you didn't know already, the E4 this round are going to have no Pokemon lower than Level 70.

Otherwise, I think your best bet would be in a Dark-Type Pokemon that doesn't take super-effective damage against Fighting-Type Moves. If you can get it, Honchkrow is probably the best bet here.

can't. however, maybe a ghost/dark to eliminate fighting weakness and still be dark type?

EDIT: Probably catches a Sableye in Challenger's cave or sumthing. Thanks for the help!

Stick Megahorn on your Samurott and you'll see him rise through your ranks as he eats two of the 4 alive (Dark and Psychic).
To get that move on your Otter, you have to go to the Move Tutor in Mistralton and trade her a Heart Scale.
The ONLY monster Samurott seems to fail against in the E4, in my experience, is Jellicent, but you have an Eelektross to destroy that with.

My Bias is showing through here with my love for dragons, but either a Haxorus with Aerial Ace should do wonders for your team against Fighting Types.
Reuniclus is good too, but very slow.
