I couldn't believe it when I came across this. I just finished mopping the floor with N and Ghestis, and headed over to the Transfer Station so I could finally move some Pokemon over to Black from Diamond. As the professor was about to connect the link, he said this:

"Well, let's begin! Allons-y!"

He used 10's catchphrase! I'm sure David Tennant would get a laugh if he played through this part of the game =P

Nothing can escape the clutches of Doctor Who! It is a great show by the way!

I'm British and my girlfriend doesn't understand how I don't like Dr Who.
"But you're a Brit? You should love it!"
She's originally from Massachusetts.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't get any better than what N said in terms to Reshiram.

BURN, BABY, BURN!

Well, not all brits like DW, just like not every american likes Superman. The Doctor is just a popular superhero that became a british icon, much like Superman is a USA icon.

Yeeeeaaaah... Let's just ignore this and assume that Satoshi Tajiri is a fan of The Doctor.

Wouldn't even be him, it would be whoever was responsible for localization of the games. :eh:

Can you go shut up and stop picking out tiny flaws in a post that was meant just to be fun. Stop making a federal case out of everything and take a chill pill.

The point is it's not a direct reference. It's a fun observation, but I can tell you, having been using allons-y for longer than Nu Who has existed, that it is not solely one of the Tenth Doctor's catchphrases. Now, give me something about Daleks, and then I'll buy a direct reference.

It seems someone already pointed out that it was just a french predicament lol. I was going to point that out but it seems it was already stated. :)

And while it was pointed out, we can all simply ignore kill joys and assume, once again, that the creators did it out of love and honor towards Dr. Who. Kapeesh? I think so.

We can also assume that N doesn't really have hair and instead has a plant sprouting out of his skull.

Try and oppose me, killjoys!
