This thread is for those grades you want to share. I got my progress report at school and got ALL A+'S. I failed the Lincoln test though because I put Tic-tac-toe three in a row Lincoln got shot by G.I.Joe his momma called the doctor and the doctor said:Oops Lincoln`s dead shot in the head.

We don't use grades like you. We use numbers, 1-6. Six is the lowest.

I got good grades last year, Lots of 1's lots of 2's four 3's two 4's no 5's one 6. I got the six in P.E =P

The grades I remember are German (Reading - 1; Listening - 2; Writing - 1; and summit else - 1), Tech (Technology - 1; Technical - Wood Work: 1 Metal Work: 1; Graphics - 1), Art (1 and 2), PE (Swimming - 3 (im blind without me glasses xD); Other - 6 (xD)), PSE (1), RE (*cough*4*cough*), Home Ec (Sewing - 3; Cooking - 3; Practical Work - *cough*4*cough)

Thats all I remember. But I got more classes like Mod Studs, Geography, History, Maths n all that stuff I'm terrible at.

My comments for Home Ec;

"Louise failed her sewing driving test first time with 8 mistakes, and she failed it the other 3 times with 5 mistakes. She isn't very good at her practical work, and her noise level could improve."

xDD I'm loud, I failed sewing. Wheres my comment for bad cooking? =O I burnt my whole hand in Home Ec last year, I'm scarred with it. Its Cameron's fault for not helping me with taking out the rock cakes. Knowing where he'd hid the oven mitt's wouldda helped.

I use grades like those too. But the one im proud of is 4 years ago I went to my conference and the teacher said that I got The highest test scores in the Aims test. 586 and the average is only 300 and that`s for the nation!

ROTFL! that's a good one. I gotta try that.

I don't know yet. =P Report cards come out Monday.

I do know that I made a 26 on my last ACT test. I scored higher than 90% of the Juniors and Seniors (who took the same test) in the nation (USA). And that was last year. 7th grade.

(NOTE to ppl who don't know what Juniors and Seniors are: ppl in 11th and 12th grade who are about to go to college)

I got my Science test and French test back today. I got a 26/29 (which is like a B+ I think) and a 78% for the French test. It's not bad seeming I didn't start studying my French until 5 mins before the class.

Grades are pointless numbers and letters idiots brag about to try to "prove" their intelligence.

Honestly, quite a few *truly* smart people I know are B/C students. Then there's a bunch of semi-smart people stretch their brains to the absolute limit to get straight As. They also usually say "I didn't study at all. Wow, I thought I'd fail. I'm so gifted." after you watched them read a textbook for all of lunch period.

Of course, there are smart people with straight As too, but in reality grades don't really mean **** besides you actually bothered studying 30 minutes or so before a test. It might have been easier for you to learn the material if you were actually smart, but other than that it's more of an "I had the time to study and/or do hours of homework I already basically understood" grade.

I got some As, some Bs, and some Cs... just enough to keep myself from getting kicked out of some school clubs.

EDIT: lol, P79.

I dont study and when I was on Netbattle this kid asked me some questions about a computer(I dont know why he asked me instead of calling Dell or something:rolleyes: ) When I gave him the answers he asked me how old I was and I said 15 and he said "oh" you sound smarter than someone at your age. That`s just one time people just ask me one question and they end up asking me my age and get shocked.

Yet another useless rant by D that just wasted 15 seconds of my life by reading.

Lemme guess, D. You're angry at all these "useless numbers" because you're failing 2/3rds of your classes? I doubt you have some As, some Bs or any Cs you dumb wench.

Please, teach me your magnificent, yet oh so humble, ways UU.

X, I'm allowed to believe I'm smart. :( :( :( And I'm not failing 2/3rds of them, it's more like 2/1ths, which is no where near as bad. ^_^

You forgot to add "...that get you 60K/year jobs as engineers"

Honestly, quite a few *truly* smart people I know are B/C students.

And those braniacs are bagging my groceries...

Grades don't prove intelligence dude, they prove drive. Drive is what matters in life...

I got some As, some Bs, and some Cs... just enough to keep myself from getting kicked out of some school clubs.

If that were true, all them Ph D. guys that get 4.0's without studying must have a lot of drive. -_-

Grades on your level doesn't show intelligence, grade on mine actually reflects, to a larger extent, your intelligence (and the commoners* fall in the 60% zone).

*commoners defined as guys/gals with drive, but doesn't have the intelligence to back it up by the end.

That I agree.

My friend knows a guy with an IQ of 150. That same guy is also serving you fries. Intelligence wasted. :(

yeah wasted talent is a real downer....myself..I base my school life around the 90% principle, that is if I can get a 90% exactly and do the minninmum work required of me to get that grade than ive acheived something spectacular....because an A- isnt worth any less credits than an A+ so why bother putting in the extra work? see real life revolves around getting the max output by putting in the minnimum effort....

on study habits...eh depends on the class...history I can listen to the teacher lecture and thats all I need, english same way. math and science require a bit more work on my behalf.

got my progress report in also yesterday..fairly pleased

Ap art history: A-
Ap english lit: B+
Marching band A
Pre calculus B-
Creative writing A
Ap govt A

all over pretty good, although I think I could make that B in english turn into an A, and chances are the B in pre cal will become a C, but ah well screw it
