FIFTEEN YEARS AGO

The government of Unova established Xexan as a biomedical research and development firm, which started off with government funding to sponsor its activities. Located in a private location a few miles north of Undella Town, the operation was kept silent from the public, knowing a few unethical sacrifices would have to be made to ensure Xexan was able to create medicines, procedures, and technology. Unova’s government, knowing there would be protestors about the operation if it were made public, kept it quiet, feeling that the research created by Xexan would benefit the greater good of both Pokémon and people, and in the end, Unova didn’t feel guilty in the slightest as they took a utilitarian mindset. For the sacrifice of a few wild Pidoves and Patrats, humans and other Pokémon could live longer and healthier lives as a result of conclusive testing. To Unova, it was a sane and responsible choice. No one needed to know about it.

FIVE YEARS AGO

In time, the government lightly benefited from Xexan’s research, but nowhere near what they were expecting. As a result, the Unova government demanded that Xexan fully disclose their research and produce something feasible and useful, or the Unova government would cut their funding. When there was no response from Xexan, several Unova investigation agents traveled to Xexan’s confidential location. Three days later, they lost contact with the agents and no one knew anything about their whereabouts. All communication with Xexan had been cut.

Xexan had gone rogue. By the time the Unova government had assembled a Special Weapons and Tactics force to infiltrate the location, they found the Xexan headquarters as a derelict. However, because the scientists they hired to manage and run Xexan’s operations had left in haste, they found some pieces of evidence that suggested Xexan’s activities were out of control and were beyond anything the government wanted. Detailed notes about experiments and tests revealed how absolutely deranged and psychotic these scientists had become, from decapitating a Miltank in order to run an experiment to see how long they could keep the severed head alive to exchanging limbs between humans and Pokémon to see if they would be able to function. The more they dug up, the more they realized how grave the situation had become. Missing trainers and their Pokémon were experimented on in the most inhumane ways, but they knew… this was only a fraction of what Xexan was doing… only just pieces of whatever mad science they had been doing just to please their dark, diabolical curiosities.

However, even after investigating everything in the derelict laboratory, they had no idea where Xexan was operating now or what they were doing. For the last five years, Xexan had been operating with stolen money, and selling their findings to new… more unethical buyers, including two terrorist groups the government only knew about in speculative rumors, Strangled Cross and Second Dusk.

…Meanwhile, the trail had gone cold for Federal Bureau of Investigation of Unova. Everything in the Xexan Undella Town location was a dead end. They needed answers, and the long list of now missing individuals was becoming the material of fear and hysteria…

PRESENT DAY

Xexan has been operating for years, still undetected by the Unova government. There are one of three paths you can take, each with their own role in the storyline. What happens to Xexan, the missing trainers, and the Unova Investigation is now up to you…

THE UNOVA INVESTIGATOR PATH

For years, you’ve been working as an investigator for the Unova Federal Investigation Bureau, still trying to find anything about the missing trainers, and trying to separate the facts from the false urban legends. You know that Xexan has been hidden for quite some time, and you’ve been looking for leads and trails, but for the last five years, you’ve found nothing, and neither have your colleagues. Other FBI agents believe it’s a cold case and that Xexan is dead. Maybe there was a time you also believed that for a short while, but something’s wrong, you can feel it from the missing persons reports. True, sometimes Pokémon trainers plunge into deep trouble on their journeys, but fatal outcomes and long-term cases of trainers missing were rare. But for the last fifteen years, it’s been rampant, and you just have the hunch there’s a connection. You need the proof, but you need a lead. They’re out there… somewhere.

Before long, a dossier is handed to you, a classified order from the Unova government itself. When you open it, you’re immediately aware the government is deadly serious about completely eliminating Xexan, and its clear the don't believe the rogue organization is just an urban legend. The missing persons report revealed some rather alarming statistics, more than the Unova government was willing to tolerate. The connections were there, but at the moment, there was no means to draw a line between point A to point B… wherever point B was hiding.

Eliminating Xexan has become a high-level government priority, involving multiple branches of the Unova government, including local law enforcement, the National Security Agency, the Unova FBI, the Unova National Guard, and several other government entities. After reading how dire the situation has become and that Unova is willing to spend any sum of money to ensure Xexan is eliminated, you read that deadly force has been authorized.

Something big is about to go down, and you have a feeling you’re going to be right in the middle of it…

NOTE: You are also free to play the roles of police officers, NSA agents, FBI agents, and any other government operatives that would be involved in the operation.

THE VICTIM TRAINER PATH

Project K1-A3.

You were just another Pokémon trainer like all the others, with goals, hopes, and dreams of your own. It was all cut tragically short when you were attacked from behind, and never saw what hit you. When you woke up, you found yourself in a laboratory… somewhere inside Pinwheel Forest… or the laboratory south of Chargestone Cave.

Those next seven days were hell. Mutants, hideous juxtapositions of creatures that only vaguely resembled humans with Pokémon-based appendages and features had been your captors. Many of them still wearing their white lab coats, you immediately concluded these were mad scientists that had completely lost their minds, turning themselves into Pokémon monstrosities. You saw other trainers, like yourself, and their Pokémon, brutally experimented on, often resulting in their death… or worse. Meanwhile, the research obtained from these vicious experiments resulted in what the scientists were creating for themselves, piecing parts and powers of Pokémon unto themselves to do the unspeakable.

You were selected for Project K1-A3, the experiment you thought would be your death sentence. They left you with only one of your beloved Pokémon, and took away the others, wailing and crying as you knew you would never see them alive again, sounds that would traumatize you for the rest of your life. Before they injected anesthetic into you, they asked you one brutal question…

Would you die to save your Pokémon?

Like any good trainer, you said you would, but you knew they would take it the wrong way. Instead of taking your response seriously, they used it only for a statistic, as they had no intention of ever releasing your Pokémon regardless of the response you made. Shortly after, you were put to sleep, almost certain you would be waking up in whatever afterlife had been intended for you. But no… no, that’s not what happened…

You found yourself waking up surrounded by nature, seemingly free from the nightmare you had witnessed moments ago, only the escape you thought you miraculously achieved had been twisted. You found yourself in the body of the one Pokémon they left you with before you were separated from the others. Somehow, Project K1-A3 had actually been a success… they had managed to transfer a human’s mind and consciousness into the body of one of their own Pokémon. Immediately, your first thought was to run… run as far as your new body could take you and hopefully get help and tell someone about the horrors you witnessed, but you realized one hideous flaw. You could no longer speak and articulate English words, and there was virtually no evidence that said you were a human trapped in the body of your own Pokémon. If you were to come into contact with other humans, they would so easily mistake you for a wild Pokémon, and might even try to catch you. But you knew about Xexan, knew something had gone horribly wrong. Someone had to know. Someone had to stop them before the madness continued.

In the meantime, they were monitoring you with an implant device, one that could track your location, vital signs, and even your emotions, stress and tension levels, and brain wave patterns. That was the reason behind Project K1-A3 after all. To see how differently humans would behave as Pokémon in natural environments. To you… it simply meant you stepped out of one nightmare and into a whole new one…

THE XEXAN SCIENTIST PATH

They would never understand.

They thought you were mad, but you were able to separate the genius from the insanity. There was nothing mad about extending one’s lifespan, nothing insane about granting power and strength to oneself, and nothing daft about going beyond imagination if it could vastly benefit all of mankind. Xexan was founded on the belief that some sacrifices needed to be made to benefit humanity. You were one among many of Xexan’s members that believed Pokémon were present for mankind’s purposes, whatever purposes mankind desired to fulfill, whether it was for researching them, training them, battling them, entertainment, experimenting on, or whatever purpose mankind saw fit. The bounty of research that had been created once all the rules were pushed aside was worth everything. The government wouldn’t understand… and neither would the trainers or their Pokémon. The sacrifices needed to be terminated, buried, and forgotten about. But the byproduct of the research… it would soon be your gift, your new age to be unraveled before the public.

Like your fellow colleges, you used the research to benefit yourself, perhaps splicing your DNA with a Pokémon become to turn yourself into a hybrid of sorts, called a Pokémorph, or perhaps used multiple Pokémon to become a Chimera, to achieve this goal. Meanwhile, the power, the potential you tapped into was beyond imaginable. You were able to do things you never dreamed of before, able to play god even for a short while. It was clear technology could rule over nature, and you and what you created were living proof. When stifling rules were pushed aside… anything was possible.

But you had to protect this vital research, guard it from the ignorant fools that would seek to destroy it simply on the basis of morality. Life everlasting and power overwhelming was worth the cost of a few lives, but they would never agree… not until they were forced to agree, forced to behold the power of what Xexan was able to accomplish, forced to experience it themselves… or die. You refused to let this bounty of knowledge and innovation be wasted, especially after all it’s been through. And you… you would use all the powers and potentials at your disposal to ensure the experiments continued, even if the cost was high. To lose everything Xexan worked on for years would be a deplorable waste of energy, innovation, and potential.

They would either let Xexan continue with its experiments, or they would die. There was no alternative…

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PATHS

As an Unova Investigator/Government Operative

At the current moment, the Unova government has made it crystal clear they want Xexan terminated, but they don’t know where they’re located or what horrible things they've been up to. Meanwhile, you have very little in the ways of evidence and trails that would lead you to where they’re located. Trainers have gone missing all over the region, and witnesses have almost always been unreliable sources, never having a clear idea of what might have caused the abduction or when it happened.

“Deadly force has been authorized” are the words that have been on your mind. The Unova government has some pretty bad feelings about this, and you can’t say your thoughts are all that much different.

► Find the two hidden Xexan locations in Pinwheel Forest and south of Chargestone Cave, along with any other locations or safehouses Xexan may try to establish if they know they are being pursued. However, you have zero evidence at the RP’s start that suggests they are there. You need confirmed proof without getting yourself into trouble. Trainers aren’t the only ones that have gone missing, and you don’t want to find yourself falling into the same horrible fate that has befallen countless trainers and Pokémon already.
► Find and apprehend or terminate all Xexan personnel and activities. If possible, rescue anyone you can. Your only warning is to be ready for anything. The Unova government has no idea what to expect and can't guarantee the safety of anyone.
► Be on the lookout for anything that doesn’t seem normal or appears out of place. It may be the only lead you’ll get.

Unova Investigator/Government Operative Sign Up

Name: <First and last name of your character>
Gender: <Male or female>
Age: <How old your character is.>
Government Role: <Your character can be a member of the Unova Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, National Guard, police officer, or any similar role that would be directly involved with the operation.>
Description: <What your character looks like. Pictures are allowed, but may only be used to supplement text description.>
Personality: <Your character’s emotional attitude and emotional intelligence.>
History: <Background history of your character.>
Pokémon: <1-6, what Pokémon your character has. No legendaries.>
Other: <Any miscellaneous details not included above, such as skills, traits, equipment or other personal belongings your character may be carrying.>

As a Victim Trainer

Right now, you’re still very unused to being as one of your own Pokémon, but for the most part, you can move, walk, attack, and behave just as a normal Pokémon would. You still have your memories and you seem to be in good health despite what happened, but you’re unable to articulate and speak English. Meanwhile, you can actually understand other Pokémon and they can understand you, something that might be helpful in your mission. The problem is, right now, you’re perfectly aware that if any human were to spot you, they would easily mistake you to be a wild Pokémon. Somehow… someway, you need to prove you’re not the pure, wild Pokémon they think you are, and you’ll need to somehow alert them that something horrible has happened. However, you know that you’re being monitored at the same time. The people you may be trying to alert and communicate with could very well be the next victims if you’re not careful enough, and if they find out about what you're trying to do, you and the others of Project K1-A3 may be in serious trouble. Meanwhile, there’s no way to remove the implant unless you’re taken to a Pokémon Center where surgery can be conducted. Also, the implant is under your skin, meaning there’s little means to reveal its presence besides the small bump in your skin and the surgical incision and stitching that is located there.

► Find and alert someone about Xexan, but it has to be done in a way that doesn’t require direct vocal communication. Humans won’t understand you (their Pokémon will, however), but you can still use body language and gestures. Meanwhile, you still have your human memories and knowledge. Somehow, someway, you’ve got to let someone know.
► Stay alive and avoid getting captured. To an unsuspecting human trainer, you’re a wild Pokémon that can be caught. You can’t do much to stop Xexan trapped in a Pokéball…
► Avoid letting yourself become a lure to entrap other human trainers and making it too obvious to Xexan that you're trying to expose them. While Xexan may be monitoring you and have a fix on your location, don’t let the human trainer you were trying to alert be their next victim…

Victim Trainer Sign Up

Name: <First and last name of your character>
Gender: <Male, female, or genderless (if implanted into a genderless Pokémon)
Age: <How old your character is.>
Pokémon: <The Pokémon your character’s mind and conscious has been implanted into. No legendaries.>
Description: <What your character looks like. Also mention the non-obvious place where the tracking implant is located.>
Personality: <Your character’s emotional attitude and emotional intelligence.>
History: <Background history of your character and the Pokémon they’ve become that was once their companion.>
Other: <Any miscellaneous details not included above, such as skills, traits, and so on.>

As a Xexan Scientist

Xexan is the most important thing on your mind right now, and so is keeping it alive and operational. The government, the trainers you’ve operated on and the Pokémon that were necessary sacrifices… you know that you’re doing it for their own good as a species. Even your newfound powers, potentials, and aspects speak for themselves regarding the benefits that have come from this research. To you, the cost is worth it, and necessary as well. However, you know that they’ll be after you, and as a loyal scientist to Xexan, you know you need to do everything in your power to stop them. Right now, you’re more powerful than humans and even their Pokémon, but the research needs to be protected, and the operations need to continue.

► Protect the Xexan organization at all costs. If lives must be sacrificed to do so, then it must be done without question or hesitation. Xexan has come too far to lose everything and give up the discoveries and innovations it has uncovered. To lose it all would even be a disservice to all of the Pokémon and humans that were sacrificed to discover these innovations.
► Continue Xexan research. The more that is uncovered, the more it can be used to benefit mankind, and allow it to evolve to become the prime species. Possibilities beyond imagination may be only moments away from discovery. You must continue to uncover what you can and not be too distracted from what the government is trying to do.
► Keep Xexan operations secret. The world isn’t ready to know about what you have unraveled here, but someday they will, and the new world will be one of perfection, power, and incredible potential.

This seems good please reserve me for a Unova Government Operative. I am also hoping that I can be like the advance investigators. You know, like the one's who would be investigating another 9/11 so if I can thanks and if not I'll just be a F.B.I person. Also the group would be called United Investigative Bureaua of People and Pokemon Alike (U.I.B.P.P.A).

Master Zorua
04-04-2011, 11:29 PM
Name: Robert Zidane
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Pokémon: Zorua
Description:
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk5/NaraSaya/Zorua_by_Tyltalis.jpg
Robert's microchip is located near the prescapular lymph node on the right cranial side of the body

Personality: Robert is outwardly friendly, though his intentions could be easily concealed in that happy-go-lucky personality. He is cunning and crafty. However, at the very core, he is a good person and would go out of his way to help those in need.

History: Robert knew nothing of his parents. From a very early age, he was dumped in a garbage can by his mother, a drug-addicted harlot. Fortunately for him, someone heard his cries and delivered him to the local police. The mother was arrested and Robert was given to an orphanage.

However, no foster would take him and no one would adopt him. He wasn't a very attractive child, he always appeared to be anorexic. It wasn't that he wasn't eating as his appetite was often compared to that of a Snorlax, but rather he had a fast metabolism. As a result, he was made fun of and beaten on by bullies.

Those only ones that treated him with respect and compassion were Pokemon, along with a few human friends and a few grown-ups. But eventually, he became tired of living life as an unwanted punching bag and ran away from the orphanage.

Robert learned how to survive on his own. He learned how to pick pockets, live off of wild fruits, shoplifting and getting free meals at Pokemon Centers. One day his found himself caught for pickpocketing and arrested. However, Officer Jenny listened to his story and came upon a solution. She turned Robert over to Professor Juniper, feeling that perhaps being given a task to gather information on Pokemon and living the life of a trainer would put him on the straight and narrow.

Robert arrived at the Pokemon Lab and Professor Juniper gave him a rather unique starter: a Zorua. The Zorua was rescued from a group of Pokemon Poachers as was also known for causing mischief. Right away the two of them bonded.

Robert began taking on the gyms by storm. Between Zorua's ability to generate illusions and the multiple strengths of the Pokemon he had captured along the way, things were starting to finally go right for Robert. He was gaining respect and popularity, and Zorua was always at his side, out of his Pokeball. To Robert, his Pokemon were his family.

However, he could not foresee the even greater tragedy that awaited him. He was jumped in Pinwheel Forest and knocked unconscious, only to awaken in what would soon become a living hell worse than anything he ever endured. In the end, he was left only with Zorua. He did everything he could to protect Zorua, and made several escape attempts, all of which ended in failure. Finally, they asked the question. For Robert, his life was misery with only a few bright spots. If his death meant Zorua's freedom, he was willing to die. But that wasn't what the scientists had in store for them.

When Robert came to, he found that he himself was a Zorua. What was worse was that he then realized that the body of the Zorua was in fact his first Pokemon. Now he was truly alone. He had no family, and those he considered family were now dead, even his beloved Zorua, who he had now become. He knew he couldn't let himself be caught, he couldn't speak his own language anymore, and he knew that there was, somewhere in his body, some sort of microchip, thanks to the fact that the scientists explained it all before they bambooshkahed out of there. Robert fled into the forest. He needed to do something to stop the mad scientists, but now danger was lurking everywhere.

Other: Robert can use his Illusion ability to become human, but in human form he has his tail, which if squeezed, reverts him to Zorua form (as per Master of Illusion Pokemon movie) However, even if using human illusion form, he still cannot speak human and other Pokemon will identify him as a Pokemon.

Name: Yune Scio
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Government Role: Intelligence Mercenary
Description: Scio is a 5'6 athletic female with near black hair and grey eyes with a hint of blue in them. Her face is usually partially hidden by her hair, despite having the most of it tied back. She wears a form fitting black T-shirt and a custom made combat vest in a dull dark tan specially build for sneaking around, and a small back pack to carry whatever her vest can't. Special grade military boots that look as if they were regular shoes to the average person. On her hands it looks like she wears fingerless gauntlets however it's only a glove with a wrist bracer to prevent her from straining them while climbing. Outside of work, Scio loses all but the boots and gloves for her mercenary work, and switches to one of her old back packs and a long grey jacket. Occasionally she's known to wear a trench hat though some people think with it on, she's plotting something.
Personality: Preferring to go by her last name, Scio is a very intelligent and analytical person with an eye for every detail, be it obvious or not. Scio is very technical about things and tends to nit pick, but without it, she wouldn't of been where she is in the first place. She never comes back from doing anything she sets her mind to until she gets it done. She goes down the levels from using her head to using force and tries to refrain from using unethical or derogatory means of accomplishing her goal if she has to. She is strong minded, sneaky and can be an underhanded SoB that everyone claims as their new pain in the ass. There is next to no hiding anything from her, as she will find out about anything and everything should she want answers for it. She can be charming and seductive but that end up in two ways: one lands you in a hospital bed a week later, one ends up you bringing in much pain wishing you were in a hospital bed and knocked into next week.

Scio's impulsiveness is wat make her a good CQC fighter, and her creativity is what makes her good at gathering intelligence. Her intellect is what gets her into the most trouble as she is too smart for her own good. You give Scio a problem, she'll finish it in five minutes. She does simple things within seconds it seems, and is always looking for something more complicated. She's a bit hardened after spending time in prison but of course, a young girl has to defend herself around a place like that. She takes crap from no one and anyone who tries to throw it at her is going to end up in a world of hurt.

History: Scio was your average computer using teen, always on there looking at everything there was to see, doing various things under an alias and just living the dream on the internet. Having her own blog page by sixteen and being well known for her in depth thoughts on the world. She was the average trainer and did fairly well for herself, occasionally leaving the house for an adventure or two. It was on one of those adventures that she heard rumors from a quaint little town with no name about disappearing trainers and Pokemon. Wanting to know why rumors were going around, she went right back home and started to investigate.

Months of looking and digging things up about disappearances on the net, she then started to find something very peculiar. As time went on, he dug deeper and deeper, and now by natural habit, posted such things on her blog page. The deeper she got, the closer she got to the truth, it took months at a time, but those months were slowly starting to become weeks. Weeks of theorizing and analyzing every bit of information she could get her hands on. At one point, it almost became an obsession. Soon she got close to figuring it was a government conspiracy with some unknown group.

That's when the front door came to it's end and Scio put into cuffs and dragged off to prison for conspiring against the government. It was a long sentence, and Scio was never more adamant on being to the truth. What irony this was when it was only a few months before the group Scio couldn't name went rogue on the government.

Scio spent the next five years in prison, dealing with unruly thugs and those who thought they could intimidate her. Scio at first had a difficult time getting by, even with classes to help give the prisoners therapy in the slim chance they were released early, or on the even slimmer chance they were reformed. Scio knew the truth, and knew that the government knew it too. However, she was just another lost cause in files and wasn't seen by them again. She spent her free time training herself and reading up on the human body, finding her style of fighting best suited for minimal striking and getting it in the right place and hitting the right nerves to cripple anyone who dared to try and push her around. She tried it on various other inmates that pissed her off, and she got quite good at it, and also a lot of solitary time for being such a nuisance. In that time, she thought about the conspiracy, trying hard to figure out what she couldn't. Without resources, it was hard.

Then they came to her.

The same government that put her away for fake crimes came to hr one night and asked her for her help. Almost in disbelief, Scio said no at first, telling them it was karma for being stupid asses in the first place. Then, after explanation of what was going on, the information that she didn't know, Scio finally agree'd on the terms that she be given her freedom and compensation for being falsely put into a hell hole. After some military training, and getting back to her technology, she was given anything and everything she needed. She became an excellent interrogator, being able to read micro expressions, and even do something similar with words. She was capable of fighting off a few grown men twice her size thanks to further training and was capable of hacking an average computer in under thirty seconds. She was only to respond to the higher ups and work on her own unless told otherwise. So her own mission to end Xexan was about to begin.

As a result, where his legs used to meet his body is now a thick dark blue steel disk, ringed by four massive metal legs that end in a sharp point. Unlike a true Metagross, his lower body features are smooth and rounded rather than rough and faceted, possibly as a result of the roundness of the other two Pokemon of which he is a Chimera of outweighing this one feature. His upper body is mostly normal, bearing the muscular torso and arms of an athlete that had never dreamed he would become a scientist. A pair of additional limbs identical to the ones on his lower body protrude out from his upper back, making shirt-wearing a daily challenge. His head is rounded with a thick jaw, and he has a sharp nose with a well-defined mouth. Two small mandible-like structures line the inside his cheeks and are visible when he opens his mouth. His hair is cropped short and black, close to the skull, and his eyes bear a peculiar ring-within-a-ring pattern of black on purple.

Personality: As one might expect out of someone who decided to change the world regardless of its will, Aur displays a sense of hubris. Confident almost to the point of arrogance, he can often be seen with a haughty smirk on his face. Aur has no trouble believing in himself like so many of those other little heroes in fiction start out with (which he sees himself as similar to). This pride, however, is arguably justified, if not exactly kind. Even from a young age, Aur displayed an amazing degree of intelligence, the same brand of logical yet creative thinking that got him not only into the Xexan project but into its deepest depths in its early days, allowing him to become one of the driving forces behind the project, shaping it into his own vision of what Xexan should be.

Despite his haughtiness, Aur is not prone to fits of rage and prides himself on self-control. He takes setbacks and even defeats quite well for one with such a bubble of pride, knowing that there will always be another chance. And he is an opportunist; Aur enters any situation quietly, observing and learning about both the larger scheme and the smaller details before deciding to make a decision. Although he prefers not to take on responsibility, when others make it clear that they are incapable of leading Aur is more than happy to shove them aside and take power for himself. Other people often find Aur unsettling to meet. He gives off an air of justified superiority and a mind that knows more than others, and many people are left wondering what the man is scheming after meeting him.

History: Aur was born in Castelia City, living most of his childhood in the housing projects on the north side of the city where the urban poor dwelt. His father had once been a highly successful businessman and his mother a doctor at the local hospital, but a series of poor investment choices ultimately led to several lawsuits and a malpractice case against his family that left them destitute. His father endlessly preached to him the virtues of the Morose family and how Aur was going to be even more magnificent than him. Consciously, Aur never put much stock in his father (after all, if he was all that they wouldn't be living on gruel waiting for the next paycheck), but all the encouragement must have made a mark. At school, Aur kept his family's past secret; bragging would only get him laughed at. Although he displayed a sharp mind with an aptitude for science and math, his real passion was for high-school wrestling and was made captain of his team. His high-school wrestling career never amounted to much, but it eventually did get him a small scholarship to help him pay for his arrival to Castelia University.

It was during his sophomore year in undergrad that Aur found his calling. He fell in love with the biomedical sciences during his introductory biology course and wanted to become a scientist in the field. There was no question of his mastery of the subject, and soon he was working for a notable professor in the field doing research into the similarities between human and Pokemon genetics. After graduation he continued to work in that research department at Castelia University, soon unofficially supplanting his professor who had secretly confided in him that he was "getting too old for this." Aur made key breakthroughs in utilizing Pokemon genetics to cure genetic diseases in humans through viral carriers, was published in scientific journals around the world, and soon was considered a renown expert in the field of human-Pokemon genetic engineering. His own Pokemon, given through donations to his research laboratory at the university, were acquired at this time, and he spent most of his free time raising them. Aur was often physically engaged in the training, helping to keep up his strong physique.

His expertise did not go unnoticed. Soon the newly-formed Xexan institute came recruiting. Although Aur did not initially want to accept the offer, Castelia University seemed indifferent to him leaving so he took it. Aur was a powerful personality within the young research laboratory, helping to mold its future and in fact was one of the major proponents of the idea that they should cut themselves off from the government altogether. He found the capability to have his research be released from ethical issues to be quite exhilarating and also, for the first time, found himself working with many other scientists as brilliant as himself, something that he had long since longed for.

When the time came to abandon the original Xexan laboratory, Aur had already transformed his body into its current form. Using his newfound computational powers, it was child's play to invest in the stock markets. After a few years he purchased a large stake in one of the major internet service providers and had it set up a home for him in an old underground server farm near Nacrene City.

Powers: Enormous computational power and thinking speed, ability to directly interface with computers, ability to climb on walls and ceiling, very powerful extra limbs, ability to download himself into cyberspace.
Other: He has three Pokemon, a Porygon-Z, Volcarona, and Galvantula. (if scientists can't have Pokemon I'll change this)

Robert Dinkins JR. , (U.I.B.P.P.A)

Name: Robert Dinkins, JR. (First time I am using my real name)

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Government Role: United Investigative Bureau of People and Pokémon Alike (U.I.B.P.P.A)

Description: Looks ( http://ts4.mm.bing.net/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=560980963667&id=bcd7ab1ac1c03679d30ea756846741d1&url=http%3a%2f%2fs3.envato.com%2ffiles%2f88759.jpg ) He is 5 foot 10 and is very muscular. He has a short cut and brown eyes. With tan skin he is a lady killer and is very noted for his looks. Over the suit he has a long black trench coat.

Personality: Robert is often very serious when it comes to situation. Some people even say he has lost his sense of humor from working too seriously. Unlike his co-workers he is highly intelligent with an I.Q. of 325. Robert can look at a problem and create five quick outcomes in his brain to how he should react. Robert is also very quick to learn things. He is very brave, careful, and smart.

History: Robert was born in the beloved Unova Region. At a young age he showed his genius by creating many things. He was far better than all his classmates, being able to read a 600 page book in a day. One day as he was traveling he saw a poor Oshawott on top of a tree. Quickly he climbed up and brought the water Pokémon down. The two became the best of friends, since the Oshawott showed a high potential to become a great Pokémon.

At the age of 13 he graduated from High School. He then decided to go to the Police Academy even though everyone told him not too. At the age of 18, he graduated being the youngest person ever to do so. At the age of 19 he skipped through the ranks and became a Detective for Special Victims (Sex Crimes).

At the age of 21 again he was promoted to go into the F.B.I. After two years he received a letter from a company called U.I.B.P.P.A. He accepted the position as being an investigator. But since this job only took on the most serious, Robert became a P.I. With a record of 99.9% success in cases, he was feared by all defense attorneys. Soon he received a letter from the U.I.B.P.P.A.

The letter was talking about a disappearance of Pokémon and trainers alike. He knew that one of his friends had even disappeared. Quickly Robert took the case. Preferring to work alone he told U.I.B.P.P.A HQ to send him all of the files about these mysterious disappearances. After a week locked up in his home, Robert memorized all the files and took key notes and had a spiral notebook full of them. Once he was told he transferred all of the data to his comp and was ready for action.

Robert then went to the city where Xexen was located. There he befriended a young trainer named Justin. Justin relayed all of the information to Robert and even offered his help. Robert knew the young lad shouldn’t get involved so he turned him down. Two days Robert was missing a small piece to the case; if he could put it together he would be able to stop all of this nonsense. He then traveled to U.I.B.P.P.A HQ to go and search through the archives when he couldn’t find anything he decided to go and ask Justin more about the case. Yet when he returned he found Justin’s mother in tears, for Justin had disappeared. Instantly Robert took it personal and promised the lady that he would catch these people and bring them to justice.

Name: Cetna LaKuu

Gender: Female

Age: 20

Pokémon: Haxorus

Description: http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd452/Pokemaster89/Game/Gym%20Leaders/Unova/Iris/612Haxorus.png
Nothing too special about her, just a normal Haxorus. Her Chip is located at the base of her spine.

Personality: Cetna is a wildly emotional girl. In every situation, her emotions are what takes over and what she listens to. And while she often leads her life this way, it has gotten her into so many bad situations that she is sure the number is in the hundreds. She is an adamant believer in protecting her friends, and has thrown caution to the wind when wanting to save her Pokemon. She also has a terrible attention span and trails off mid sentence, and has even been known to stop battles half way through because she forgot she was in them. Her pet peeves include, but are not limited to: Being interrupted, being yelled at and people who make fun of her stutter, jokingly or not, and will go ballistic if someone gets on her nerves too much.

History: Cetna grew up on a small island outside of Nuvema Town. Here, she learned quickly that family is important and everyone you loved was apart of it, not just the blood relatives. Even Pokemon were included in the belief. It was here that she learned that if you love something, you have to fight for it. She received her Axew when she was 5 years old. Seeing as how the Pokemon had just hatched from its egg, it made sense to pair them together.

When Cetna was 10, She and Axew traveled Unova together. They caught other Pokemon, fought Gym Leaders, did some contests, basically put their hands in every cookie jar. Over the next ten years, Cetna grew into a pretty good trainer, and all the while Haxorus never left her side. Haxorus had gotten used to her crazy behavior now, and it seemed that she would no longer listen to another trainer beside Cetna. They made a perfect team.

Maybe too perfect. Cetna was starting to lose her competitive edge. She was starting to lose focus(more than the normal amount of focus lost) as nothing excited her any more. Unova had become boring, and having been everywhere made that horrible fact even more true. Even the trainers were boring. Haxorus was too powerful now, and all of the elite four members could not hold a candle her anymore. Then Cetna heard about these boats. The boats could take you to new regions in far off lands. It sounded so romantic! Cetna rushed to docks by running through Pinwheel Forest. She remembered entering, and then black screen.

Over the next seven days, however she had no idea how long or how much time had passed, she went in and out of consciousness. She would awake to a dark room with pokemon or people over her. Or Poke-People. Or monsters. It was so frightening that she would faint out, but be woken up by sharp pain. they made it a point to keep her awake as the prodded her and moved things around. The most vivid memory was a single question, "Would you die for your Pokemon?" She could only mutter a yes as a light came on and showed her Haxorus on the other side of the room. She looked like she was in as much pain as Cetna was. Another shock, then a gas mask, then black screen again. The next thing that she remembers is being in a forest.

Other: Nothing to report.

Unrealistic? I suppose that's one way to put it XD Considering the highest recorded IQ ever was only 200-something. He'd need a mental age of 206 in order to have that IQ at 26. Oh well.

Yeah, I didn't know what the Guinness world record for that was, but I know even having something over 140 is extremely high already. As long as the guy doesn't turn into a Gary Stu kind of character, he's fine with me.

IQ's more a measure of how good you are at taking IQ tests than your intelligence anyways, it's a bad idea to use it to prove how smart you are.

su is done yay....

Name: Alyse (pronounced: Aleez) Hadder (often miss pronounced ‘hatter’)
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Pokemon: Arcanine
Appearance: Alyse is a middling five foot seven inches tall. She won’t tell you her weight unless you want your arms broken, eyes plucked from their sockets and your privates, well umm let’s leave it at that mmk? Needless to say she isn’t overweight or overly skinny, she is a middling weight. I won’t say more because she’s already looking at me with that look in her eye….. anyway, she has pale skin that seems to glow, dark waist length, red hair that she always keeps in a ponytail and an old top hat. The top hat was actually her fathers, given to her before he passed away. It is a special hat, it served as a sort of weapon. When she pushes it down, thin blades come out of the rim, and it can be thrown or used as a circular blade. Her eyes are a dazzling sky blue, and she wears brown leather boots, pale white khaki pants, a rustic red leather jacket and underneath the jacket a plain charcoal black v-neck t-shirt.
She carries a drawstring pouch on her back that holds all her essentials, extra food stuffs, multipurpose knife, flashlight with extra batteries, extra pokeballs, and the such. Her pokemon she carries in their balls on her belt except for her Arcanine. He hates it inside his pokeball and always has. Not only that, he is Alyse’s main mode of transportation. She rides him everywhere she needs to go.

That was until her consciousness got transferred into her beloved Arcanine. Now she has the appearance of the fierce wolf-like Arcanine. Across the left eye is a vertical scar that her Arcanine had received when fighting a ferocious Feraligator. She has her transmitter concealed right behind her left ear. She has no idea that she’s being monitored however. When at top speed, she looks like a blur and she can keep at it for well over 4 hours. Alyse has nutty endurance :>

History: Alyse grew up in a small town in the kanto region with her father, Maddorian Hatter. She never knew her mother as she died during child birth. All she knew is that her name was Alyse, her own. Her father gave her the name because it was startling how much the little baby Alyse resembled her mother. Everything from her beautiful pale skin, to her sky blue eyes, was her mothers. Everything except, oddly enough, her hair. Her hair was a sleek dark red, just like her father, Maddorians. While Maddorian was torn up after his wife died, he loved Alyse with all his heart until the day he died. The town in which they lived, Maddorian was known as the best hat maker around. He had the nick name, The Mad Hatter, because in his later years he did go a bit odd.

Alyse nonetheless loved her father as much as he loved her. After that day, she did go mad for a while until a loyal growlithe found her lost and broken. The pup himself was orphaned, but seemed to want to care for this poor lost girl. With his help Alyse became herself again, and while they traveled across many different regions, she never decided which path to choose; that of the Pokemon Trainer, or that of the Pokemon Coordinator. She won a few badges and ribbons here and there, but never enough to enter the regional league or grand festival. She got close, but it was always due to her indecision of which path to choose.

It wasn’t until she reached Unova that she finally decided that she would go for the glory of being able to challenge the greatest trainers of the world. She entered into the Unova league. She was traveling through the Pinwheel forest for a few days, having gotten lost as usual, when she something snuck up on her when she and her Arcanine were sleeping, they knocked them out and took them to the Xexan laboratory hidden in the forest. There she had found a new meaning for the word ‘hell’.
Within those seven days she felt the old madness she had when her father had died, rise in her again. This time no one was there to bring her out of it, when her captors came to her with that final question, she answered somehow knowing that she would still never see her family again. When she next woke and found herself as her Arcanine, she howled, she let her emotions pour out and became lost in them.

Personality: She’s intelligent, light hearted and caring. She won’t fight unless it is absolutely necessary. However, she is be a bit vain as well as a bit mad at times, two traits unfortunately handed down to her by her father. At times it can be a bit hard to work with Alyse because she does go a bit mad at times, and it can be difficult to be around her.

She has a morbid fear of wild, uncontrolled fire. Alyse never understood why her greatest fear is fire but whenever she encounters fire, she clams up and it was usually up to her arcanine to whisk her away. She likes to be around Pokemon and those she has called her friends. Since her father died, she’s traveled around too much to call any one place her home.

Other: props to those who made the connection to what book I got the names out of :P

This SU's for a Xexan scientist. Prepare for a very long post.

Name: Fennel Yew/Hilda Livinal

Gender: Female

Age: Technically 109, but has the body of a 16 year old.

Pokemon Forms: Ninetales and Mismagius

Description: Young, Strong, Beautiful...The words to describe 'Hilda.'

Hilda stands at 5-foot-4, with beautiful and flawless skin in a cream color, and dark brown hair in a graceful, S-Shaped, extra-wide and extra-long ponytail, with a few additional locks of golden hair also evident. Even then, Some of this black hair also dangles down in two locks of hair that are nearby her face. Her Crystal-Blue eyes, deep as an ocean, along with a perfectly sized nose and a smile that lights up the whole room, all without any facial flaws like zits or pimples, make for a face that even married men could stare at for hours. She wears a hat, Pink and White with a PokeBall descripted on the front. Upon her neck, and seamlessly intertwined with it as of fact, is a chain of cherry-red orbs. A pink hair clip with a flower pattern on it is upon one of the locks that dangle down near her face.

Albeit a purple and black 'dress' of sorts covers the upper half of her body, she wears a white sleeveless shirt with a black sleeveless jacket, making evidence of her physical power and her body's near-flawlessness. Two sweatbands are upon her wrists, and on the left sweatband is her red Xtranceiver. Her nails do look like claws, and her whole lower body is coated in a near-invisible, yet innumerable amount of golden fur. She wears short-short jeans, with a white fluff of fabric coming out in a stylized fasion, again showing off her muscles. Her boots are flexible enough for running, and have a print of PokeBalls and the Pokemon Munna.

However, one feature can easily be classified as inhuman-the obvious presence of the nine tails of a Ninetales. Each one has a different coloration; The 1st and 9th tails are the same as any other Ninetales'es tails-gold with brown tips. The 2nd and 8th have slightly darker coloration, with black tips over brown. The 3rd and 7th tails are brown with black tips, the 4th and 6th tails are indigo with black tips, and the dreaded 5th and center tail is black, spiky, and has both red and indigo tips.

Of course, this isn't Fennel's actual body. Her actual body was that of a centurian's-old, wrinkled, deprived of all strength, beauty, and youth through the cruel hand of time, with only the insanly long hair to identify her from other old women. This body is actually unconsious, and technically dead. After the proceedure that put Fennel's mind inside Hilda's body, the scientists at Xexan left the literally mindless body of the old Fennel at their abandoned Undella location.

Personality: Like all of her fellow Xexan scientists, she firmly belives that the motives can justify the means; However, unlike most Xexan scientists, she also belives that sometimes, there is such a thing as going too far. Sure, it is compleatly sane and very acceptable to attempt to find a way to acheive everlasting life, obtain powers that would benefit all of humanity, invent objects that could change the world for the better, and other things like that, even if innocent and unwilling Pokemon get harmed. However, to see if, persay, a Miltank's head would stay alive and consious if separated from the rest of it's body is unnesicary and cruel. Of course, in the very rare case scenario that Xexan manages to get a hold of a willing participant to do a mildly dangerous experiment that could greatly impact all manners of living for the better, well, you can bet that she'll be feeling nothing but jubilee, and would most likely be a part of it. Minimal cost, maximum benefit: What she likes in every case scenario. The numbers themselves don't count, the difference between them does; she doesn't care how much she harms, so long as she produces far more good than bad.

That being said, she can tolerate a lot of bad if the potential good is far too great to be ignored. It is a possibility as to why she lended a hand in making the technology behind K1-A3; to allow a person to 'body-jump:' Taking the consious out of one being and placing it in another, which could allow for multiple practical uses, once one thought about it for a while (Including transferring human minds to Pokemon Bodies). It is equally a possibility why she transferred her mind to Hilda's after the latter's own mind was separated from her own body, and placed into her Dewott's. She also lent a hand in the discovery of how to properly splice genes to create Pokemorphs and Chimeras, believing it could increase one's ability to defend oneself from attacks by Wild Pokemon, and potentially grant the release from specific genetic disorders the genes of specific Pokemon would remove, and of course, used it on herself after she was inside Hilda's body.

Of course, considering her real age, she's very smart, and has incredible amounts of IQ, a reasonable amount for someone that is compleatly devoted to the study of Pokemon Biology-a very hard topic requiring extensive knowledge of the subject and many others. However, this isn't too apparent. What her appearance doesn't immediatly mask, the mindset she adopted from being a teenager again keeps this almost impossible. She's has the attitude an overacheiver, but can be a flirt at times, and can seem to care less about her research, and more about her renewed strength, youth, and beauty. In truth, she cares more for the former than the latter, though both have a lot of leverage, and it's obvious that whenever the chance pops up that says she could give her further longivity, immortality, everlasting beauty and strength, so on and so forth, she'll pounce on it.

That being said, it isn't all about her and Xexan. The Pokemon she's had for most of her life, and the ones she 'inherited' from Hilda, and even Hilda herself, imprisoned in the body of her Dewott, with an error in Project K1-A3 wiping her memory and her Dewott's memory clean, are all very precious to her, and she would rather be experimented on if it meant that she'd save her Pokemon from it, too; Fortunatly for her, the steady flow of Trainers and their Pokemon are keeping her Pokemon safe from experimentation, for now. An added blessing is that Xexan's scientists probably wouldn't do it anyways, as they would feel the wrath of her, and the pain of the 1000-year curses those tails have been embedded with, had they been experimented on without her consultation.

History: Fennel Yew was born in Castelia city, and lived there for most of her childhood. She had a Munna as a youthful friend at an early age, and they both grew to be close as best friends. Her parents were proud of her: She was already proving to be a very smart and strong girl, and was beautiful for someone so young. She was the head of the class, picked first in sports, and boys had crushes on her, even in elementary school. She was already being the overacheiver she would always be.

In Castelia High, she got herself onto the A honor roll, and was one of the top ten students that ever attended the school. She was also a prominent figure in Women's basketball, Tennis, Soccer, and Volleyball. At prom, she would have been the most asked-out girl there was, had it not been girl's choice.

It was in Castelia University that Fennel started wearing her glasses, but nevertheless was as beautiful as ever. Her Munna evolved into a Murshana, and the very nature of Evolution, after seeing it for the first time, fascinated her. She took Pokemon Biology as a Major, which was a course that was very hard, as it took mastery in several fields to be able to work in her field. However, she eventually excelled, as usual, and managed to become one of the best students ever enrolled, second only to Professor Juniper.

After Graduating, and with 6 extra years of studying, she finally decided to start on her Pokemon Journey, taking a Oshawott as her starter. Fennel was a incredible trainer mopping the floor with the Gyms of Unova...All the while tinkering with various peices of machinery, and studying various concepts of Pokemon that were previously untouched...

She finally defeated the last gym of Unova, and obtained all the Badges she could from the region. She could have gone all the way, too-Taken the Leauge on, defeated the Elite 4, and claimed the title of Champion. However, before she could even get to the badge gates, she made the discovery of a lifetime. In fact, it was the discovery that made her famous.

The Portable Dream Machine, a device about the size of a labtop, able to view the dreams of Pokemon, a previously unseen device at best. Pokemon Dreams were a highly controversial subject, mainly because of the prevailing question: If humans were to have dreams of things that are impossible to them, then what are Pokemon to dream of?

Fennel discovered quite quickly that Pokemon dream of the same thing. She called it the Dream World, mainly because it was the absolute nexus of the Pokemon's mind, and was truly the thing that made Magikarp equal Arceus. Moreover, she soon came up with another, less known device-The C-Gear, able to warp people to Entralink, a space made of a Pokemon's dreams and a Person's memories. She discovered the Dream World Pokemon, Pokemon that are born in the dream world, and appear in the Entralink if a Pokemon in the dream world, owned by a trainer, befriends the Pokemon.

And she became famous. Very Famous.

However, over time, it became apparent of something else. She once thought that she might have been able to resume her quest to defeat the Elite 4, and become Champion, and be the very person that everyone would talk about...But she had to settle for being a very famous inventer. It wasn't her health that gave way, she was at least 28 at the time. It was two things.

The first was Team Plasma. The very words they spoke shook Fennel's soul. Humans abusing Pokemon? Many nights, she wondered if Pokemon Battles did more harm than help. Over time, and even after N came back after 4 years of traveling all over the world, stating that he was incredibly wrong to begin with and was compleatly fooled and led astray by Ghetsis, she stayed away from Pokemon Battling, and kept to studying the Dream World.

However, the second came unexpectedly, and was even more violent and destructive. It made her question everything.

Her Murshana, her loyal Murshana that had been with her for years and years, had caught a Pokemon-specific illness that had a 100% death rate. It would start with painful headaches and flu-like symptoms, then turn into severe nausia and mental instability, then having the virus multiply to the point where the host partly becomes a virus, while having the victim's insides basically turn to liquid, to culuminate in literally, a bloody explosion of guts and bodily fluids, both turned a sickening black from the virus.

She decided to check her dreams one last time. It would be the last before she would have to be locked up to prevent other Pokemon from catching the disease in question, and to keep humans from becoming carriers of the disease, spreading it to Pokemon unwittingly. While the Murshana of Fennels in the real world was suffering greatly, the Mushana inside the Dream World she looekd at wasn't sick in the slightest, and went about as it pleased. It broke Fennel's heart to see her beloved companion's last dream before death, and broke it even more to see her Mushana in such a good condition there, while having a highly painful condition in real life. Such was the greif, that she did something that would cease it in a method that, at the time, she would NEVER have considered.

It was a minor mix-up, something that anyone could have done in the moment; Fennel simply pressed a fast abort button, a button used in the case of an emergency, if the Pokemon needed to wake up right then and there...But she forgot to release the saftey lock, which kept her Mushana from waking up and having a vomiting spree.

Fennel was truly afraid of the stupid move she just made-this could kill the poor Mushana early, and it was definatly not good to do it while it slept, having the last minutes of happiness it ever would have. She immediatly disengaged the saftely lock, and quickly looked at the codes on the screen of the Dream Machine, appearing in ways Fennel never saw before.

Her Mushana woke up just fine-No pain was delivered to her because of the mistake Fennel made, and no problems with her health were recorded from then-on-in...Which, considering that said Mushana was currently inflicted with a virus that had a 100% Fatality rate in Pokemon, was indeed, odd. Further research concluded something Fennel was suprised about. In fact, she was scared of it. It was amazing and terrifying. Mortal men wasn't supposed to see this kind of thing.

What did she do? Far from causing Mushana any harm, she seemed to reverse it-From the Dream World, an antibody seemed to have been forcibly injected without pain into the Mushana in the real world, literally drawling out the power of the dream world into the real world, which was unheard of outside of the Entralink (Which technically wasn't real, even then). She kept the notes and the codes that were present to herself. This was something she'd keep secret.

She noticed something else, too. Whatever she did, she also added a considerable amount of time to Mushana's lifespan, and in fact, the Pokemon could now exist to double it's lifespan (A Mushana's lifespan was 10-15 years more than a Human's, making this quite powerful). Again, Fennel was thankful that the accident gave out a posotive outcome, but at the time, she wasn't exactly ready to accept that it was good to have done it at all.

Time passed, and those two events kept nagging at her mind and soul in ways that most people didn't have to deal with. Fifty years passed, and it seemed like Fennel would be dying any day, her age now at 89 at best. It was then that Xexan started recruiting, and what was a scientific company to not consider a world-famous scientist as a employee? She joined as one of the oldest scientists in the corporation, and was one of very few to have been around for the Plasma incident.

She worked hard, studying inside the bounds of science, albeit she did shutter whenever blood came into the picture...And those questions that kept bugging her since they were first conceived were always put into greater emphasis after each day working there. Meanwhile, she became older and older, and no longer showed any of her former beauty and strength. Her vitality was almost all gone.

And then came the question for all of Xexan: Would they shove aside morality, and remove all guidelines from their path, to truly delve into science at it's strongest, and uncover the greatest secrets of all mankind? It was a question that was at first highly unliked by a great deal of the company, mainly because no current scientific document was known in which the scientist who made it overstepped the boundaries to produce a highly beneficial result.

And here Fennel was, with detailed notes of the codes from the incident that saved her Mushana's life. The questions were finally answered one night, written down on paper in a condo she had bought with the money she had. The writing looked like she was shaking violently.

"For such a long time, I was contending with the question if the limits the government set down were truly what kept mankind from discovering the big things. Where was our stem cell research when people needed it? Where are the cures to cancer? Where are the cures to disabilities? Why aren't we being helped? Those questions joined many others, others that I dare not put on paper. But one kept coming back. One that kept coming back, with the knowledge that I have cured my own Mushana of an uncurable disease that was also one with no hope of survival, with a simple-yet compleatly accidental-step out of the boundaries of legal science. And ever since, the question haunted me, and had I not found the answer, It would have haunted me to the grave.

Why were those people suffering?

And I have at last decided upon what to do. I found the answer. I will overstep those boundaries, for they are nothing but what slaughtered millions already, and could slaughter millions more. The Government has kept people from living. That is a crime-no, an abomination-that must immediatly be solved. And I know how to solve it."

The next day, she presented the text of what happened during the incident.

The new, much more malicious experiments immediatly began, with most of the company convinced that it was the right way to proceed. Fennel became a part of it, and in time, she grew less prone to the cries of help, the crying and wailing of Pokemon and Trainers, and the sight of blood that originally made others cringe.

And She invented many things. She helped create the devices that would allow for the genetic splicing of Humans and Pokemon, and was a critical player in the creation of Experiment K1-A3, and the technology behind it.

One day, another Pokemon Trainer was captured. She had a Dewott. Fennel was reminded of the days when she traveled with Mushana and Oshawott, and was reminded of how the latter died-peacefully and without great pain on Fennel's part. And she was reminded of her former beauty, her former strength, her former youth, her former glory.

She would later realize that this trainer's name was Hilda Livinal, and that she would be one of the first to be subjected into K1-A3. She had all her Pokemon but her Dewott taken from her, and when they were about to go into kennels, awaiting their own Experiments, Fennel stopped the Scientist that was carrying them, asking if one or two could be her own.

The Scientist shrugged. It really didn't matter, it would come out of her pay. He handed over a Drilbur and a Petilil, and put the others in the storage. She quickly walked back to the site of the Experiment.

She watched the monitors with eyes that were sharper than they ever were for the last few years. However, she was told that she was the one to ask the question. She walked over to Hilda, now just being given the anesthetics.

"Tell me, would you die for your Pokemon?"

Hilda feebly answered yes. Before she went under, Fennel said one more thing.

"How kind of you."

That was the last of Hilda Livinal. Walking back to the monitors, Fennel realized that although Hilda's consious was there, the consious of the Pokemon she owned-which should have been wiped out entierly before her mind got in-was still present. By the time she yelled "NO! STOP THE EXPERIMENT! ABORT!" It was too late. The eradication of both minds was swift, undifferentiating, but wasn't complete. The Dewott awoke, but with no memory whatsoever. Nothing worked. This use of K1-A3 was a failure. However, Fennel managed to keep Hilda/Dewott for herself.

And then she would look at Hilda's old body. It was there. Ripe for the taking. She looked at her own, wrinkled hands.

She asked the scientist if it was possible for a human (specifically her) to have their mind transplanted in another human's (specifically Hilda). The scientist said 'yes.'

The experiment started at once. The use of consious-destroying neurotoxins was unnesicary, considering Hilda had no consious at all, so it was much safer on Fennel's part. Fennel would never forget the feeling of being shot with the anesthetics, going unconsious, only feeling a kind of rushing sensation, then to awake inside Hilda's body, now her own. Fennel Yew was born again.

And the feeling that came after she realized it was a sucess was unlike any other. She felt the happiest she felt in years.

She was so happy about the fact that she had her youth back. Twice was a risk taken, twice was the reward far greater, with almost no cost. It wasn't her choice to have Hilda's actual mind eradicated, but with her body free for anyone afterwards, it wasn't morally burdening to have taken it.

This particular day was when the squad of investigators were dispatched to their location. They successfully subdued the captives, who coughed up the information about the Government clamping down on them.

They fled, they fled in haste, and they forgot to take Fennel's old body. But that wasn't of importance. Fennel got her important research papers and all her Pokemon together for the rush out of their Undella Location.

They would settle down, later, and build in secret their new laboratories. Fennel/Hilda would pick the Pinwheel forest location to reside in. While there, she decided to alter her genes and become a Chimera. Her technology resulted in it, after all. She picked a Ninetales and a Mismagius for the Pokemon in question she'd use to splice her genes.

The Scientists work was good, and again was Fennel rewarded for taking a risk. The scientists not only managed to give Fennel a vastly increased lifespan, but also gave Fennel/Hilda powers that she could only have dreamed of. The best part was, she finally realized that sometimes the boundaries were superficial and meaningless. And all three times she herself took a risk, accidentally or on purpose, she found out that those barriers were superficial and meaningless.

Powers: Thanks to the Ninetales genes within her, she now has a 1000-year plus lifespan, along with nine tails to forcefully subject curses into unsuspecting foes that dare touch her tails. Friends can touch it without harmful effect, and she herself can most certainly touch it without harm, but enemies, no, they would feel the full force of the powerful, millennia-long curses. She may also chant incantations, an ability granted by being part-Mismagius. These incantations could bring about severe headaches when being used to cause harm (at their strongest), or be used to heal and disinfect minor to moderate wounds (at their strongest). Due to her genetics, she is also immune to-and in fact, is given additional power upon contact with-fire, and the Moves of Normal Type and Fighting Type Pokemon, along with regular meele attacks from humans, are almost compleatly ineffective against her.

Pokemon: Hilda the Dewott, Spiral the Ecxadrill, Rosetta the Lilligant, Mushana, Swanna.

Hilda the Dewott: A mistake in the technology that gave birth to the K1-A3 experiment caused Hilda's memory, along with the Dewott's memory and conscious, to be eradicated, with absolutely no hope of recovery. The result was merely a Dewott that had very few instincts, but was smarter than most other Dewott. Fennel's influence as a senior member of Xexan allowed her to obtain Hilda, who she raises lovingly and tenderly like any of her other Pokemon. She isn't willing to tell Hilda the truth yet. She is afraid that she wouldn't understand. She probably never will understand. Nevertheless, she is a loyal companion of Fennel/Hilda.

Spiral the Excadrill: A Pokemon that was once Hilda's, Fennel obtained it prior to Hilda's unfortunate memory loss, and Evolved it after settling down in Pinwheel Forest. Spiral knows about what went down, and knows that Fennel didn't intend for it to happen either. He is loyal and trusting of Fennel/Hilda, and Fennel herself treats Spiral just as she would her own Pokemon.

Rosetta the Lilligant: A Pokemon that was once Hilda's, Fennel obtained it prior to Hilda's unfortunate memory loss, and Evolved it after settling down in Pinwheel Forest. Rosetta knows about what went down, and knows that Fennel didn't intend for it to happen either. However, although she is trusting of Fennel, and Fennel cares for her like her own Pokemon, Rosetta still harbors resent towards Fennel.

Mushana: A Pokemon that Fennel had since Childhood, and the Pokemon that she would unwittingly and accidentally cure of a incurable and 100% fatal disease, the bond between her and Fennel is beyond almost anything that Trainers have seen: They act like sisters. Sharing an equal amount of experience as Fennel/Hilda, Mushana would lay down her life for Fennel just as much as Fennel would lay down her life for Mushana. She knows about the body swap, and was present to witness it.

Swanna: Fennel obtained this Swanna from the Entralink, and this Swanna has the Ability Hydration as such. Swanna was a Pokemon that Fennel used often during her late campaign through Unova, and also was the Pokemon she used to participate in her only contest, which she won. Swanna and Fennel treat each other like close friends, and Swanna was present for Fennel's body swap.

Other: As a genius, Fennel has information on just about anything, and is a very very very smart person, with a PHD in Pokemon Biology and Dream World research. She has upgraded her Xtranceiver to do a number of things, including hacking, serving as a Pokedex, and other functions. Fennel/Hilda's physique is very good for her age, and does pose a physical threat to the unprepared. She carries 2 Encrypt 143 Pistols with sights and silencers on her person at all times, in case of emergency, and she is a good shot.

And did I mention that this is the longest SU I have ever made for one character?

Working on my SU. If there is anything I have to change, tell me.

Name: Aldous Crizier
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Pokémon Forms, if any: Alakazam, Sigilyph, Beheeyem
Description: Having been morphed into a Chimera of three Psychic Pokemon, the first thing that stands out is his glowing green eyes. Although he hides those under his glasses, it is extremely unnerving for people and even scientists that work with him. His hair is a mess of brown, and he has an unhealthy, pale face. His body is extremely fragile, almost like a twig that can be snapped. He has a Sigilyph's wings on his back; his lab coat have holes to fit them. His lab coat is interestingly not white like most lab coats, but has chaotic symbols resembling a Sigilyph's body that is decorated in various colors.

Personality: Aldous is a true example of a psychopath. Sadistic and insane, he enjoys others' pain, even his ally's. He is prone to occasional bursts of random anger, and because of his powers, it can prove to be very dangerous. The main expression that will be displayed on his face is an unsettling grin, but it is sometimes replaced by frenzied rage. He is supremely arrogant, and won't listen to people regarding science. This arrogance can lead to underestimating his opponents. The haughtiness is somewhat justified, in that he has never lost in anything he did. He treats Pokemon as nothing more than tools for advancement of humans, viewing them with hatred and fear. While he is a genius, he has an emotional intelligence of a five-year-old with a machine gun. If a fellow scientist makes a mistake or even worse, annoys him, he will throw tantrums that can be fatal.

In fact, the only reason he's still in Xexan is because he is brilliant. His foresight on these matters have been groundbreaking. When he is conducting research, he is a bit more calm, but only a tad bit. He prefers to research alone instead of within a group, because he believes that people just slow his performance down.

History: Born in the rich, heavily populated city of Nimbasa, he was born as a son to a rich businessman and his wife. His father was away mostly, and his mother raised him since birth. Ever since he was a child, he was exceptionally gifted in science and logic, defeating the 16-year-old Chess champion of the city when he was 6. Noticing that he was different, his mother sent him to a specialized academy with a dorm- dorm that was more like a hotel. There, he learned from professors that were not as famous as Professor Juniper but certainly on the same degree of intelligence. Studying with the less prodigious students made him look down at others, and he started to hate working with people. Soon enough, he was gaining fame as the prodigy of Nimbasa, with many people wondering which career he would take. While his major, Pokemon Biology, was expected, they never expected him to join Xexan, the government corporation. His parents argued against it, but he eventually prevailed.

The reason he joined Xexan was because he could impose his brilliance on the project from the get-go. Assisting the K1-A3 Project, he was among the first to be tested, and certainly the first to have his brain fused with a Pokemon. He volunteered himself to fuse with his Alakazam, hoping to gain Psychic powers and enhanced intelligence. The experiment was a success; however, it left him with a much more fragile body and mind. The developoing project ultimately caused madness in him, but he didn't care, and wanted even more Psychic power and intelligence. The second testing with a Sigilyph was done a few weeks later, and his mind further snapped from the power. He turned even more chaotic than before, and grew wings. Finally, he fused with a Beeheeyem, finishing off his control over the human mind. It worked, giving him control over memories by looking at a person's eyes. But all the fusing made sure he wasn't a human anymore, both physically and mentally. He lost morality and compassion, and have devoted himself to science and destruction to all who oppose him and Xexan.

Powers: Psychokinesis (the ability to move objects by the power of the mind), Eidetic memory (the ability to memorize anything by looking at it for 30 seconds), control over memories, levitation, the ability to conjure hallucinations for enemies. All this is offset by his complete craziness and fragile body.

Pokémon:
Porygon-Z
Magnezone
Electrode
Eelektross
Electivire
Gallade

Other: None

Done. Also, is it just me or are all Xexan Scientists really, really powerful?

Awesome, looks like a good start. Just let me know when its done, I'll check it out.

Name: Chris Logan
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Government Role: FBI Agent

Description:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/Ultradyne/DeathNote2.png

Chris stands 6’2” and weighs roughly 190 pounds, keeping a considerable athletic build geared more toward endurance and stamina than physical strength. Meanwhile, he has a fair skin tone, short black hair, and a slightly visible beard and goatee. For clothing, he wears the typical FBI agent attire of a gray business suit over a white flannel shirt accompanied with a brown tie. He also wears a metallic watch on his left wrist.

Chris also likes to keep himself clean, but if things get rough, he doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty.

Personality: Not a whole lot affects Chris emotionally as others who know him will often attest that Chris probably never even cried as a baby. He also keeps a confident and focused air about him, feeling as though things have a way of working themselves out even if not everything goes according to plan. Meanwhile, on the job, he only makes assumptions if he feels there’s no other way to draw the line from the evidence to the conclusion. Very often, he feels asking “what if” may very well lead him to the right path even if the evidence doesn’t. And if it so happens that he wasn’t right, he knows how to backtrack and cross out the impossible from the possibilities.

During investigations, Chris is very rarely frustrated, instead looking at difficult investigations as more of a challenge to become more knowledgeable and experienced. Even as a child, he liked solving puzzles for entertainment, and a lot of his work is comparable to that, even though with investigations, he may not have all the pieces he needs. But, he also believes not every piece needs to be found, just enough to make a conclusion backed by evidence. He doesn’t, however, like to deal with witnesses or suspects, as they never really give him a straight or reliable answer the way physical evidence does.

With regards to the recent case with Xexan, he feels Xexan’s scientists are nothing more than lab rats that simply lost their minds and went out of control. What he does find concerning is how many trainers have been reported missing due to what the government believes is from their unethical operations, and how they’re being used as lab specimens. Chris always felt science was kind of a grizzly subject at times, but when it goes out of control, he doesn’t want to imagine what kind of things can be done with it in the wrong hands.

While Chris is also a Pokémon trainer, he doesn’t battle his Pokémon too often. He’ll often keep them aside for companionship and protection. Though Chris often works with other agents, police officers, and other government operatives, he feels more at ease with his Pokémon. Sometimes, his Pokémon have eyes and ears for evidence that Chris may overlook, and Chris won’t deny that sometimes it was thanks to them that he found that last, crucial piece of the puzzle that made all the difference.

History: Chris was born in the big city of Castelia, growing up and enjoying city parks, the docksides, and the entertainment. As a child, Chris wasn’t a braggart, but he did show confidence in his accomplishments. He also liked to explore new ways to do the same things, never really liking routine for that matter. “Mixing it up” was a hobby of his, as he felt living the same day again and again is how things just get boring.

When it came to traveling with Pokémon, Chris was often casual about it, not taking it so seriously like some people did. Instead of cheering wildly for catching a new Pokémon, Chris summed up the experience with just a smirk. Also, he only caught Pokémon he really wanted and needed. While he was given a Pokédex to fill up, Chris returned it three days later, saying “it’s just not my style.”

Chris also battled gym leaders more for curiosity’s sake, not really intending to compete in any leagues. He also didn’t battle with brute force, enjoying a little cat and mouse before bringing down his opponents. After a year of traveling, Chris returned to complete his education, only getting six of the eight badges of Unova’s league. Some people have asked if Chris would ever try to complete the league, but Chris always replied that he had other things to focus on now, though his Pokémon have always stayed with him throughout the years.

He returned to Castelia City to attend college, where he earned a Bachelor’s in criminal justice. After graduating, he went to the academy for additional training, where he was then brought on as an agent of the Unova Federal Bureau of Investigation. Jason Walker, his mentor, saw a lot of potential in Chris that he hadn’t often seen in new agents fresh out of the academy, so he allowed Chris to accompany him and learn from him as a kind of apprentice when it came to heading out in the field. Walker realized that Chris was quick to adapt to the new position, never once feeling squeamish around blood, dead bodies, or crime scenes.

Technology was also one of Walker’s weaknesses, but Chris had a knack for the newest operating systems, and had considerable IT experience while Walker was mostly old school when it came to getting to the facts and conducting investigations. Chris was often there to help him get caught up with the newest innovations, showing him how the newest types of analytical software were useful when it came to catching references that the naked eye couldn’t always make out.

In terms of Xexan, Chris was brought onto the case and the investigation team only relatively recently, being two years into looking at all the details. The so called “witnesses” have neither been helpful, consistent, or even cooperative when it came to trying to get the answers he needed to piece together the facts. Often, witness testimonies lead him completely in the wrong direction, and since then, he’s been doubtful that they’ll have much of a role to play when it comes to finding out where Xexan is now located, and what’s going on there.

Xexan has always been a tough challenge for the FBI, but Chris has never once considered giving up.

Pokémon:

Zephyr the Emolga – Zephyr is probably the closest companion Chris has, and often takes the role of being the eyes in the sky. Very often, Zephyr can see what Chris may miss by heading upward and looking down, getting the full overview of the scene. He’s also a very good pathfinder and scout, something that Chris wished he was better at, but Zephyr does a great job where Chris can’t. Zephyr also shares a lot of Chris’s personalities, being cool and collected, confident, and doesn’t let a rough road bring him down.

Crash the Arcanine – Crash is more on the wild side, liking noise and would be quite the party animal if he were human. Fun, impatient, and playful, Crash also rarely gets depressed. However, when things get rough and dangerous, he can be one of the most loyal and determined fighters out there. He also doesn’t take too kindly upon people who are purely malicious.

Indigo the Espeon – Chris knows there are lie detectors around, but he finds nothing works better than a strong, reliable psychic Pokémon like Indigo. Often, its not easy to separate suspects from witnesses either, but Indigo can peer into the minds of both humans and Pokémon, and use what she learned and relay signals back to Chris.

Other: Chris carries a Sig Sauer P250 full size. He also has strong IT and analytical skills.

If second characters are allowed (since I saw no rules posted), I'd like to bring in the comic relief =P

Name: Atrus Gumshoe
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Government Role: Pokemon Cruelty Investigator
Description:
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/9/92450/1517128-gumshoe_01_super.png
Atrus stands at 6ft tall and has a moderately muscled build, although he looks a bit on the heavy-set side. He has short black hair with a few hair spikes on the front center. He has some chin stubble and sideburns, and is often seen with a bandage one the left side of his face along the cheek-jaw-line due to a recent surgery after being nicked by a bullet. He dresses up with a green trench coat, brown dress shirt with a red tie, black slacks and black running sneakers.

Personality: Atrus is, when not on duty, a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He loves handing out with his Pokemon and can't resist the cute ones. On duty, he's serious and puts on his game-face, though he can at times let his personal feelings get in the way. He's often referred to as the Bumbling Genius, because while he might not have the best of luck, he always seems to come across vital pieces of evidence without even intending to. He has a strong hate for those who abuse or abandon their Pokemon, but he doesn't let it interfere with his job unless he needs to get himself involved immediately.

History: Ever since he rescued a young Vulpix from an abusive trainer back before he even got his own Pokemon, Atrus has always wanted to keep Pokemon safe from bad trainers. While many trainers were good people that took good care of their Pokemon, there were always those that treated their Pokemon like tools of war, some even going so far as to physically beat them for losing or even outright abandonment. After completing his own Pokemon adventures, Atrus enetered into a new division of the Police force: Pokemon cruelty investigations. These investigators were often called upon to deal with people who stole the Pokemon of others, cruel trainers and abandonment cases.

Atrus grew in the ranks, and while his methods have been sometimes unorthodox and othertimes shown him to be a bumbling oaf, his knack for finding vital evidence and bringing about great successes earned him a spot as a top investigator. Everyone in the police force often referred to him as the lovable scruffy guy, because it was rather difficult to stay mad at him, and he was friends with everyone on the force.

When trainers and their Pokemon began to go missing, the police volunteered to have several members of the Pokemon cruelty investigations squad assist, with Atrus as the head of the police team. Now, Atrus's skills and luck are going to be put to the test.

Pokémon:
http://i536.photobucket.com/albums/ff323/Nines-Tempest/038.png
Ninetales (female)
Ability: Flash Fire
History: Ninetales (A Vulpix back when they first met) was Atrus' first true Pokemon partner. When she was beaten by a Patrat, she was then further beaten by her Kanto-region trainer. Atrus stepped in and laid his own fist-fueled beatdown of the kid. The kid surrendered his Vulpix to Atrus and has since then been his tried and true partner.

http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l561/tails_the_fox1/Cinccino.jpg
Cincinno (Female)
Ability: Technician
History: Atrus won this Pokemon Egg from a game of Treasure Hunt sponsored bythe Pokemon Breeders Association. Ever since she hatched as a Minccino, she had always been a prankster and diva. However, she's faithful to her 'daddy' and always enjoys showing off. In battle though, she is cunning, clever and a touch sadistic.

http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc431/mrkevn001/serperior.jpg
Serperior (male)
Ability: Contrary
History: When Atrus turned ten, although he had a Vulpix, he was allowed to choose a starter from the local professor, and thus chose Snivy. Since then, Serperior was been one of Atrus' heavy hitters and has been very protective of Atrus' other Pokemon. He views himself as a sort of royal king, and will only listen to Atrus or Vulpix. While he's got a big ego, he will still listen to his trainer.

http://i924.photobucket.com/albums/ad90/onpu_zoey/audino.png
Audino (Female)
Ability: Regenerator
History: Audino was Atrus' first real capture. She has since been the 'mother' of the Pokemon group. She breaks up arguements between the others and nurses them back to health when they're sick. She's a decent combatant, but Atrus doesn't like bringing her out to fight.

Whimsicott (female)
Ability: Infiltrator
History: Atrus captured this Pokemon in Pinwheel Forest as a Cottonee when he got lost in the winding part of the forest (instead of going through the straight pass like any normal guy would). Whimscott is a powerful combatant and very skilled, but she loves cheering the others on more than she enjoys fighting.

http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/ad35/dudedog2589/All%20Unova%20Region%20Pokemon%20English%20Names/Braviary.jpg
Braviary (Male)
Ability: Sheer Force
History: Atrus was given a Rufflet as a present from his parents after he beat the 8th gym (even though the win was by sheer luck). Atrus raised the little bird until it evolved during the first battle of the Unova league. However, Atrus never made it past the second round. Still, Braviary has proven to be Atrus' most pearsome Pokemon in battle and Strus considered Braviary to be his trump card Pokemon.

Other: Atrus is decently skilled in computer hacking, mostly due to the police's need to hack and track certain criminals. While he does end up bungling things up sometimes, there are times when he'll come across vital pieces of evidence for related cases or for different cases, sometimes without realizing it until someone points out the significance. He has pretty decent deductive skills and he's very skilled in street brawling and sharp-shooting.

Xexan Scientist

Name: Masekios Prieto, goes by Maite
Gender: Female
Age: 28
Pokémon Forms, if any: Houndour, Crobat, and Sandshrew

Description: Maite has dark hair that goes to about mid-back, bronze skin, and brown eyes. She has a slightly angular face accompanied by a strong jaw. Standing about 5' 10", she is also fit and agile, only partially due to her self-experimentation with Pokemon.

She did not adopt very obvious physical characteristics from her transformations. Her backbone protrudes slightly more, as do her shoulder blades, and her skull is a bit more obvious underneath the skin of her face. Both her finger and toenails are extremely resilient. They are not, however, claws, they only grow tougher.
Her jaw has also become much stronger. Similarly, her teeth are more durable, and almost all of them are canines now. They are not razor sharp. She has also grown a small pouch underneath her tongue.

She wears a half-mask in the shape of a skull that covers from her eyebrows to the end of her nose, as well as wide, fitted white bracelets and anklets. She does this in resemblance of Houndours. Otherwise, her clothing is simplistic, and is usually hidden under a lab coat. It consists of a black, fitted, half-sleeved shirt and black pants. She does not wear shoes because of her toenails.

Personality: Maite is rather serious and usually takes conversations literally. Most of the time, she appears to be only partially paying attention, as though the one she is interacting with isn't worth her time. When the person is someone she perceives to be better, she focus intently on everything they say.
Maite is constantly looking to do something, and doesn't enjoy standing around. If made angry, she will vent her emotions on the cause, usually in a physical fight.

Despite this, she doesn't usually announce her presence, and instead skulks around with a mission in mind. She has a strong sense of loyalty that has only grown with her transformation, and is content to take orders from those she deems worthy.

History: Maite was born in Mistralton City. As a child, she would always be playing in either Chargestone Cave or the surrounding wilderness. She watched the wild Pokemon, often for hours at a time.
As such, she didn't have many friends; most of the children would be playing elsewhere. She didn't mind though, and soon began to note the differences in the Pokemon she watched. This slowly snowballed into full-fledged scientific observation. Her room would always filled with journals of her notes, as well as samples of various Pokemon related items she had collected, from feathers to broken teeth.

In school, she was fascinated by the life-sciences, and often tested her knowledge on unsuspecting wild Pokemon. The Pokemon were not likely to get hurt, but those who did she caught and took to the Pokemon center. After they were healed, she was likely to release them, though she did keep a few.

When she left the city at age 14, she wandered much of Unova, still noting all she could on every Pokemon she met. She didn't have a steady source of income, but she was able to buy just enough food and journals with the money she earned from beating over-eager trainers.
She found herself selling off her observations to various laboratories before she was finally offered a job at one. She worked within the department for analyzing the genetics passed down from Pokemon to their children through breeding. She was in charge of the controlled environments as well as obtaining the genetic material from the newly born Pokemon. As such, she had to be quick, since many parents didn't want to give up their children. Eventually, she moved to the department that worked with the differences between Pokemon and Human DNA.

For several years she worked there until she heard something interesting from one of her colleges. There was a research facility the government of Unova had been funding to make medical breakthroughs concerning humans and Pokemon. At that point, it had already been running for several years. Miate lept at the chance to take her pursuits further, and was soon a lower researcher at Xexan.
She was awed by the opportunity to throw ethics out of the window, since she had only ever come close to that as a child. Soon, she was in the thick of things, and performing experiments that would surely be breakthroughs for both man and Pokemon. Miate experimented on herself as well, splicing herself with several of the Pokemon the trainers brought through. Though the effects were seemingly minimal on the outside, her attitude became decidedly more animalistic. Still serious and calm most of the time, she now did not hesitate to fight and attack whatever was in her way.

Her attitude towards the trainers and Pokemon was rather indifferent. She believed in sacrificing the few for the many. She mainly experimented with splicing two different Pokemon together, starting with different evolutions of the same species and working her way to combining two Pokemon of entirely different attributes. Many of the experiments were failures, but there were promising signs. After all, if humans and Pokemon could be combined, why not two Pokemon? The possibilities of what it could mean for people to be able create new Pokemon species themselves was unfathomable. She is bound and determined to see a complete success, and will go through as many Pokemon and trainers as it takes to get there.

Powers: She has good endurance, and heightened senses of smell, hearing, and loyalty. Her nails and teeth are extremely durable. If she loses a tooth, no matter how many times, it will eventually grow back, and she is able to tear through leather with ease. She must file her nails down by tearing hard materials apart every so often. When the pouch under her tongue is rubbed, it will secrete a dangerous substance that she can mix with her spit. It can be deadly when ingested or exposed to an open wound, though it would take a large amount. Maite is immune to her own poison, as well as her Gloom's.

Pokémon:
http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t201/Tisiphoni/poke/chandelure1.png
Chandelure (Female) Shyama
Ability: Flash Fire
History: Maite found Shyama as a Litwick while visiting Celestial tower on one of her amateur research trips. The Litwick was getting forced from an Elgyem's territory. After getting her needed notes, she captured the weakened Pokemon and brought it back to her home town's Pokemon center. Her travels with Shyama factored into Maite's loss of sympathy for her experiments. Shyama is loyal to Maite, and only takes the souls of those Maite approves. Shyama used to remove the spirits of certain experiments before the mind removing neuro-toxin was perfected.

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t201/Tisiphoni/poke/gloom5.png
Gloom (Male) Royce
Ability: Chlorophyll
History: Royce is one of the few Pokemon that Maite has kept from the trainers that were experimented on. Oddish were rather rare in Unova, so Maite kept it for further study. Eventually, Maite decided to simply keep it, impressed with its abilities. Maite spent so much time around him, that by the time Royce evolved into a Gloom, Maite was already immune to his poison. Royce enjoys scaring other out of the area with his smell, especially if they are people Maite doesn't care for.

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t201/Tisiphoni/poke/PinRS302.png
Sableye (Male) Almas
Ability: Keen Eye
History: Maite found him trailing a fellow researcher, though for what reason, Maite did not know. She followed Almas for some time before the Sableye turned and attacked her. She fought back with her current Pokemon, but was defeated. Almas ran off, but Maite was persistent. It took her three months to finally track down and capture the Sableye. Almas is a sadistic joker, worse than Gengars or any of its pre-evolutions, but he is also Maite's strongest Pokemon.

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t201/Tisiphoni/poke/persian4.png
Perisan (Female) Lavimi
Ability: Limber
History: Lavimi was obtained as a baby Pokemon at Maite's first lab job. Maite raised the little Meowth to observe which traits she had inherited, though she soon came to count on the Pokemon as a companion. After Maite's transformation, Lavimi was the one teaching her partner the art of stealth, as well as proper care for her nails and teeth. Lavimi is usually the calmest of Maite's Pokemon, though she happily acts as bodyguard/assassin for Maite when needed.

Other: Maite is good at unarmed combat, mainly dodging and disarming. She always carries a device for storing, retrieving, and sharing information with other members of Xexan. She has the Pokeballs for her Pokemon, but rarely ever keeps her partners inside them.

I'm going to edit it some more, mostly for her Pokemon, but is this okay thus far? =]

Name: Jalen Yono
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Pokémon: Riolu
Description:

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa129/Trake345/jalentheriolu.png

Jalen does not look different from any other Riolu, except his eyes are a shining silver rather than a red. The tracking device is under his right arm.

Personality:

Jalen is probably the most light-hearted person you'd ever know, there's always a smile on his face, he knows how to cheer people up when they're down, he can make it seem as if there never was anything wrong in life and everything was just as it was. His optimistic personality makes him the person to go to when people are down or when everything seems bleak and going in the wrong direction. He expected less from others and less from himself, so there were fewer disappointments from him. Small things cheered him up and brightened his mood. You’d think that whenever he did become saddened, he’d be easy to cheer up, but just the opposite. He almost never did, but rarely he’d break into sadness himself. It’s really hard to turn him around at that point, and only time helps him get over what is upsetting him.

History:

Jalen lived in Nimbasa City all his life. He was the generic kid any sporty dad would want, always running around with a smile on his face, playing outside and being endlessly amused by the simple game of catch. He was a little less observative in his earlier years, but that soon sprouted by the time he had turned six. Most children cannot think of the future until fully matured, but Jalen was different. Jalen was widely known for his motto - "it takes 13 muscles to smile, and 42 muscles to frown." Not necessarily a physics geek, his motto wasn't about the physical effort it took to smile or frown, but the mental effort. If you think about it, it's easier to be cheerful and happy than to be a sad downer. He was born into a family of optimists who raised him intending for him to be a good, positive-thinking person. He lived with good people who went on to be great people and the same was expected for Jalen once he had matured. He had his future on his mind at all times, and unlike most people at a young age, by age eight he already had it all planned out. He wanted to throw himself into the world of Pokemon by becoming a trainer at age ten as soon as possible, then, after experiencing it for a few years, he wanted to start a sort of entertainment with the use of his Pokemon, where he’d show off trained tricks by himself and his Pokemon. He lived in Nimbasa City of the Unova region, so he was already seeing entertainment like he wanted to do in his future every day. When he was ten, he ran off with his Riolu which had turned into a partner and a friend from previously being a pet, now that he could train Pokemon for battle. He caught many Pokemon and had even gotten the Unova badges up to the Bolt Badge before he was taken away while looking for a Scraggy in the deserts of route 4. For a long period of time, his seemingly-endless fuel of happiness had been depleted and replaced with an enduring sadness. He was scared of what was to come, paranoia overwhelming him. He couldn’t stand being in the facility he was left in, but when he was freed, it was like walking straight out of hell with hell tagging alongside him.

Other: Jalen has inherited some sort of speedy, athletic trait from his dad who was a traceur - which has led to him being extremely agile.

Much better than your last one imo ^_^

Pokémon:
Porygon-Z
Magnezone
Electrode
Eelektross
Electivire
Gallade

Other: None

Necros
04-10-2011, 09:09 PM
Name: Alexander Devlin

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Government Role: (WHAT?! He’s on the GOOD side?) Unova FBI ‘Special Consultant’

Description: Alexander looks young and short for his age, only standing at about 5’6”. His body is of slim, but lean build, fit but not overly so. His small size and lean build are not to be underestimated though, for the teen is incredibly agile and fast, almost inhumanly so. Possessing thick, neatly combed, dark hair that falls down to almost the base of his neck, Alex’s skin is quite pale, no doubt the result of staying indoors for most of his life, not really being the kind of kid who would go out and play with others in the sun.

Generally, the teen tends to wear rather understated, unremarkable, casual clothing, usually consisting of a simple long sleeved shirt worn underneath a short sleeved one and comfortable fitting cargo pants. His undershirt is usually black in color, while his top one is white, going for a simple contrast. The cargo pants range from black, to dark khaki, to very light tan. In colder weather, Alexander can be seen wearing a knee length coat, dark violet in color, with a hood to pull over his head when it rains or is otherwise foul in the weather department. Though simple in design, his clothes are carefully fitted to allow for greatest ease of movement and are very adaptable to any situation, also allowing for several kinds of weapon or item to be stashed away for future use.

Personality: Alexander was never what you would call normal. He was never quite what you would call stable, either. But then, this was quite understandable considering he was one of many children that was born with a latent psychic ability, much like Sabrina of Saffron City. As such, he always acts like an outsider, outcast and removed from the rest of society, though the way he does so differs. Sometimes it is out of arrogance, feeling superior to everyone else, other times it is just plain frustration that no one can possibly hope to comprehend the way he sees the world. (Why isn't he on Xexan's side?)

Outwardly, the teen is generally helpful and kind to those he comes across, ready to smile, offer a helping hand or a kind word to those that need it. It is a very convincing act that fools most people, aided in part by Alex’s clairvoyance, which allows him to partially determine what it is someone wants to see and hear from him.

Inwardly, Alex is twisted, cold and mildly psychotic. He has a skewed way of looking at things, finding ways to make even the most horrible and barbaric of crimes seem not only reasonable, but as acts of goodness and benevolence. He is selfish and devoid of any real compassion, thinking only of himself. In his dark nature, the young teen often treats humans and Pokémon alike with something akin to contempt, seeing them as beneath him, placing himself on an even higher level than they, regardless of the truth of the matter. He also has a lust for violence and bloodshed, regarding such things as ‘the truest form of beauty’. (Seriously, why isn't he on Xexan's side?)

History: Alexander had a relatively privileged childhood considering the kind of prejudices he would have faced as a psychic, his parents still loving him for what he was and caring for him as warmly as they could, trying to get him to come to terms with the rest of his peers, to fit in. Even with a little sister, he still got the greater share of the attention and the small community he lived in was also bent on welcoming him as much as possible.

Unfortunately, such a kind and nurturing atmosphere did absolutely nothing to help the boy. Instead it just helped to confirm to him how stupid and single-minded normal people were, assaulted by their simple thoughts and small dreams. Growing more and more introverted, Alex spent most of his time shut away in his room, reading and honing his psychic abilities, barely talking with anyone, even his parents. If anyone did try to get him to open up, they would often find themselves on the receiving end of humiliating exposures of their personal secrets at best, and a painful mental attack at worst.

One day though, on his tenth birthday, Alexander was finally coaxed out when his parents bought him a very special gift, his first Pokémon. It was a relatively young Nidoran, of the male gender, which despite its tough and wild nature, seemed to take a liking to the boy almost immediately. It was probably the only time Alex had ever thanked his parents, before running off with the Nidoran, presumably to play with and train it.

At first his parents and the whole town seemed pleased, happy that the troubled, brooding child had finally found something to connect with, to be a proper kid with. Then they began noticing some disturbing things. First of which was that the Nidoran had evolved all the way into a Nidoking by the end of the week…yet there were hardly any wild Pokémon or indeed Pokémon trainers in the area with which Alex could have fought against. The Nidoking himself, once having happily run up to his trainer whenever he called, now essentially cowered and whined any time the boy came near him. Also, the Pokémon didn’t seem to get Alex out of the house after all, for once it had evolved to its final point the boy returned inside, back to his books and notes, reading rather voraciously. Jars of the Pokémon’s poison were collected. Then the Nidoking vanished one day, and Alexander approached his parents, demanding another, different Pokémon.

Seeing the dark look in his eyes and feeling the ominous aura radiating from the young psychic, his parents decided not to question him, deluding themselves into thinking their son had finally found a constructive activity, even thinking they might see him go on to be a brilliant Pokémon trainer. After all, he had managed to not only evolve one past two stages in less than a week, but he had also controlled it and made it obey. So they happily provided him with whatever he asked for, and the same pattern kept repeating itself. Happy, trusting creatures soon became stronger, yet deathly afraid of him before suddenly disappearing once again. At the same time, families and friends seemed to suddenly leave the village without warning, leaving only a note behind in their vacated house.
It was on his thirteenth birthday that the fateful night happened. Alexander’s mother, growing more and more concerned for the boy, overcame her fears of her son and went to confront him about what it was he was truly doing with the Pokémon they were providing for him. Pretending to listen to her concerns and worries and love for him, Alexander simply nodded when she finished speaking, smiling widely.

“If you’re so worried, Mother, then why don’t you help me with my latest one?”

As she was directed into the room that her son spent all of his time with his Pokémon in, she caught the overwhelming stench of blood and chemicals. Her eyes widened and she almost cried out at the sight in front of her before there was a sudden sharp blow to the back of her neck and everything went black.

Some time later, not having seen his wife for a while, Alex’s father went to confront the boy as well, deciding he wasn’t putting up with anymore of his nonsense, psychic or not. After tearing through most of the house, looking for him, he came upon the same room, slamming open the door.

What greeted him was a scene of sheer, unadulterated evil. The floor was stained with blood, gouged out from scrabbling claws and the stench of burnt flesh, sweat and utter misery assaulted his nostrils. Hanging from the ceiling, on silver hooks, like some grotesque Christmas decoration, were severed limbs, organs, strips of skin and hide and bone, both of Pokémon and human origin. His eyes widened as he beheld the multiple cages lining the walls of the horrific laboratory, each one containing a hideous, grotesque mutation of a creature, barely recognizable as either the Pokémon or the human it once was, crying out in anguish.

“Yes Father…I’ve been busy with all of the little pets you’ve been so generously giving me…experimenting, reconfiguring, applying my power. One can only do so much with a Pokémon though...most are too simple and weak to work with. It’s so much easier when you start with a human…” came the cold voice of his son, the smirk evident even in his tone.

His father could only watch in horror as he brought out his latest victim. He had been given a Ralts as his latest present. Now it seemed it had evolved all the way into a Gardevoir. But the man knew the horrifying truth now, from his son’s words, from the scene of carnage around him. All he could do was stand there, eyes wide, on the verge of throwing up.

“I think I finally did it this time. A fully evolved, enhanced Pokémon with human intelligence and knowledge. Also completely obedient too. Responds to my every thought…but I guess I have a slight advantage in that field, no?” laughed the boy, tapping his head slightly. “Finally stable…not running off to go kill itself or go rabid like the rest of these reject stock,” he sighed, looking at the mutations within the cages.

“Alex…how could you…? Your own mother…” choked his father, sinking to his knees, staring at the Gardevoir with tears in his eyes, looking for some sign of recognition in her. There was none.

“I know! Isn’t it wonderful? I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner! A blood relative would respond to my treatments much better than one of those wretched neighbors of ours,” laughed the boy. “Makes me so confident…I feel like creating another…”

Four years later, Alexander still possesses the perfect results from that night. A Gardevoir and an Alakazam. It only made sense to use psychic types after all…they were the ones that responded to him the best, could understand him the most. After all, they were related… (Alright, this is getting ridiculous, why is he on the government's side?)

Then came a rather long and painful ordeal in which Alex had chased down a certain group of five teenagers. He managed to kill one, dissect another and drain a third of energy before his luck ran out and he was finally caught himself. He was arrested by the police and kept in a special isolation chamber, reserved for only the most dangerous criminals on the face of the planet. He was also placed on a strict diet of drugs and suppressants to negate his psychic powers.

In spite of this Alex was not a sore loser. He graciously accepted his punishment until one day when there was, against all odds, a knock on his door. An investigator from the Unova region was let into his cell, looking so desperate and confused that Alex didn’t even need to be psychic anymore to see what was going on inside his head. He listened to the man’s pleas, that some sort of secret organization was carrying out a pattern of abductions and presumed experiments. People and Pokémon were going missing on a grand scale, and the government was getting desperate. With Alex’s past history being well known amongst the world of the law enforcement, the Unova Federal Bureau of Investigation turned to him for help.

Alex calmly listened to all of it, while secretly plotting inside his own mind. There were opportunities for revenge to be sure, but there was more at stake here than just personal satisfaction. There was the insult that such an organization would exist without his knowledge and expertise. There was the fact they were in all likelihood bastardizing HIS research, using it for the utterly useless goal of advancing the human race. They didn’t appreciate the beauty behind what he was doing. What his ultimate goal was. If only he’d managed to succeed before, then none of this would have happened.

Agreeing to assist with the investigation on the condition his Pokémon were returned to him as well as his materials shipped over from what was left of his lab, Alex set out to completely annihilate Xexan. And he’d do it whatever way he could. (Oh. Guess it kind of makes sense now...)

Pokémon: Gardevoir and Alakazam, all that is left of his parents combined with a Raltz and an Abra. They are essentially mindless drones to him, controlled by his will and obeying every command, yet still possessing a fierce human intelligence and cunning without any of the compassion. Neither of the Pokémon can speak, be it human speech or Pokémon, and when coming into contact with other Pokémon, it is clear that there is something very, very wrong with them.

Other: Having lost his psychic ability due to his treatment while imprisoned, Alex is not quite as quick to throw himself in the thick of battle. However, an offset of this is that his mental defenses are near impenetrable, making him practically impervious to any form of mental attack or screening. He still possesses the knife made from his Nidoking’s horn, as well as his stockpile of syringes and medical equipment and poisons. He can use them to a high degree of proficiency.

Necros, sorry, but I've got to reject that, there's no way the government would negotiate with a criminal like that. They wouldn't trust him as a reliable source, and they wouldn't put him in any position where any other investigators would need to rely on him for dependable information and for support.

Seriously, make him a Xexan scientist, it would make a lot more sense.

(Alright, you asked for it then. Have two characters in the place of the psycho that is Alex.)

CHARACTER #1: XEXAN SCIENTIST

Name: Tiffany Devlin

Gender: Female

Age: 12

Pokemon Forms, if Any: None.

Description: Tiffany stands at about four feet tall, thin, with long, pure white hair combed straight back all the way down to her thighs. She lacks any sort of bangs whatsoever, and her hairline is clearly visible running over her forehead. Her skin is very pale, much like her brother’s, and her eyes are a dull grey color.

She wears a simple, well-kept grey suit and skirt, the buttons black and her shirt underneath a plain white. Around her neck and tucked into her buttoned up jacket is a solid black tie. On her feet she wears a pair of black flat-soled shoes, with small silver buckles fastening over the tops of her feet.

Personality: Those that knew Tiffany would say she was cold or distant. Those that didn’t would say she was downright creepy. She is slow to react to anything anyone has to say or do, and she speaks in a kind of serious monotone for most any conversation, only a change in volume indicating whether she is feeling a specific emotion or not. Having come from a family that largely ignored her in favor of her older brother, Tiffany’s reluctance to open up to anyone can be easily understood by anyone who knew her history. She always seems uninterested, unenthusiastic, and generally indifferent to anything that is going on. She is remarkably intelligent and some say ruthless as well, but the manner in which she proceeds with every task as if it were the same exact thing is what marks her utter lack of a definable personality.

Outwardly she can, with some effort, produce what would be expected of a normal twelve-year-old girl, smiling and giggling and speaking in a happy, childlike voice.

Inwardly, she’s almost as insane as her brother, but in an entirely different way. Her apathetic behavior is a byproduct of the number of suppressants she is currently on. Her personality shifts dramatically with each level of her disease that manifests itself:

Level 1: Normal and stable and completely in control.
Level 2: A bit more animated, a bit more reactive, and a bit more paranoid.
Level 3: A lot more animated and reactive, and incredibly paranoid. Developing aggressiveness.
Level 4: Incredibly paranoid, delusional and violent. Signs of self harm beginning to manifest.
Level 5: Terminally insane and unreasonable. If left alone for too long, she will end up killing herself in some gruesome way.

History: Tiffany’s history is rather different to her brother’s, though no less steeped in bloodshed and violence. With her brother being favored over her due to his psychic ability, Tiffany did not have a happy beginning in the world. She had to grow up fast, learn to do things herself. Knowing her brother was rotten from the start, she regarded him with disgust and hatred and resentment for how he so easily manipulated her parents, but did nothing, as she was absolutely powerless against him.

On her six birthday a distant relative of the Devlin’s, some grandmother of hers that she never actually met, ended up having Tiffany taken away from the Devlin estate. She was shipped off to a boarding school in Unova where she wouldn’t have to worry about the ties to her family in Johto. Tiffany enjoyed the school very much, made a lot of friends, and seemed to escape the horrible fate that would later befall her parents and everyone else in her hometown.

Then, when she was nine, she contracted a bizarre illness, the likes of which had never been seen before. It caused her to hallucinate, to make her think everyone was out to get her. She ended up causing severe injuries to several of the girls in her dorm, not to mention massive amounts of property damage to the school, before the authorities were able to catch her. At the time, hospitals were baffled at her condition, not knowing how they should deal with her. Xexan stepped in and offered to take her off their hands, claiming they could develop a cure if they studied her, saying that even if she died, they’d at least be better prepared for it if such a disease germinated in more people.

Tiffany saw Xexan as a savior at first, a treatment for her disease soon developed using samples and tests from both human and Pokémon subjects, allowing her to become lucid again. She didn’t realize the only reason they didn’t let her die was because of her value as the only specimen infected with the disease, and so she offered to help them with their research on it. Humored by the scientists at first, they soon realized she had an uncanny knack for getting results, coming up with tests and experiments that they, perhaps limited by their adult minds, could not even begin to comprehend. Encouraging the poor girl even further, all while keeping her dependent on them by providing her with her treatments, Tiffany soon grew to be a driving force in the organization. In that environment, she also began to lose any sense of morality that had developed during her brief, happy time at school.

When Xexan went rogue, she went with it, not having any reason to return back to civilization. She participated rather actively in the K1-A3 project, finding it ‘cute’. Whether she actually meant it, or was being sarcastic was anyone’s guess. Still preoccupied with her own disease, however, she found out that by administering treatments from various psychic Pokémon that she could bring out her own latent psychic abilities as well as strengthen her will over her illness. Developing a power to rival her brother’s, she intended to head back to Johto and confront him, still harboring a deep grudge against him.

This unfortunately happened right at the time when the government started actively trying to find and destroy Xexan. Not wanting her only means of staying sane and hope of eventually being cured to be taken away, still feeling like she owed her life to the organization, Tiffany now devotes her time solely to making sure they aren’t discovered and developing her own research. Revenge on her brother could wait.

Powers: Tiffany has very strong ESP and can perceive anyone or anything living within five hundred meters of herself. She also has an ability to produce a hexagonal formed sphere of energy around herself as a barrier to attack, not even needing it to be all or nothing. She can shield only the area in which she is threatened and leave the rest of the barrier down, thereby saving energy. As for offensive abilities, she has the rather nasty option to release a heavy wave of psychic energy that can fry the brain and nervous system of any sentient creature that gets in its path.

The downside for Tiffany is that owing to the sheer number of suppressing treatments she has to take to keep her illness in check, she is remarkably slow to react. While she may have a ton of power, it often takes her several seconds to decide how and if she’s going to apply it. The other problem is that if she uses too much of her mental energy, she’s liable to provoke the illness into moving up a stage, and thus rendering her more dangerously reactive, but a lot more vulnerable. She can lower the level if she gets a treatment injected in time or forces it down through sheer willpower, but often her paranoia sees even this treatment as a threat.

Pokémon: A Liligant named Helen. She doesn’t really use it much.

Other: When in her more insane stages, Tiffany tends to carry around some form of weapon, usually anything she can lay her hands on. In her sheer desperation to defend herself, using wild and deluded instinct, she can often wield them with terrifying, unpredictable potency. I will be detailing the level of her disease at the beginning of each post too along with name and location and affected RPers, if that is permissible.

Name: Damon Bunker

Gender: Male

Age: 13

Pokémon: Krokorok

Description: Like a normal Krokorok. Pink belly, black markings, tan scales, black eyes and bipedal. His implant is embedded in his right thigh where the black marking is.

Personality: Damon is rather tragically naďve and unassuming, believing that everyone at heart is a decent person to be friends with. Upon discovering the wonderful world of Pokémon when he went off on his own journey through the Unova region, he actually despised battling and treated any Pokémon he caught as if it were a person, often letting them out of their Pokéballs for extended periods of time simply to keep him company during the day. Such was his dislike for training and battling Pokémon like slaves that he avoided as many battles as he could and didn’t set a foot anywhere near any of the gyms. He only caught those that he thought needed his help and protection and companionship.

As a Krokorok, and after the whole K1-A3 incident, he’s understandably a little less trusting at first, but it doesn’t take much to win him over. He’s a bit clingy to those he finds friends in, a little less than worldly when it comes to everyday conversation, but all around generally happy and forgiving to the point where you have to love him, even if only to punch him in the snout a moment later for being such a kid. He’ll fight if he has to, but he could never kill or hurt anyone seriously, even someone from Xexan. He is fiercely protective of those he cares about however, not wanting to make the same mistakes he did as a human.

History: Damon’s trusting nature comes from the fact that unlike most people, he was raised in an incredibly loving and nurturing environment with two parents that spoiled him just enough to make him always grateful to them. He attended a day school, which just so happened to have a boarding school section with a certain little girl in it, but he had already left on his Pokémon journey by the time she made her mark on campus.

Disliking the nature of the Pokémon Journey from the outset, Damon first tried to convince his Snivy starter to go run off into the wild somewhere. When it wouldn’t, and he realized that the Snivy liked it more being safe and looked after with him rather than out in the unpredictable wild, he made a renewed effort to find Pokémon that were abandoned or mistreated. Amongst the few he caught was a starving Sandile that he personally nursed back to full health, having spent more time in Pokémon Centers watching how they cared for the Pokémon than actually going out into the tall grass and battling them. With much care and attention, he actually managed to evolve the Sandile into a Krokorok without any battling whatsoever, only strengthening his belief that Pokémon battles were pointless and cruel.

Heading back towards his home, intending to tell his parents he wanted to go back to school and study to become a doctor of both species, Damon had the misfortune of being in Pinwheel Forest at the wrong time. Xexan had been cautious in approaching him, for he kept all of his Pokémon out of their pokéballs, observing his behavior from afar before moving in and pretending to sympathize with his hatred for battling. They even convinced him to follow them willingly into a more secluded area of the forest, claiming they had a nice shelter all made for abandoned or injured Pokémon. Damon didn’t suspect a thing right up until the moment when he was knocked out.

Going through what happened next was more hellish for Damon than it could have been for any other trainer. These Pokémon whom he’d sworn to protect and care for had been handed over to people who’d do far worse things to them than any trainer ever could, and it was his fault. Every time he heard them cry or scream in agony, he felt as if a piece of himself was being wrenched out of his chest. They left him only with his Krokorok, and when the inevitable question came, there wasn’t any hesitation in his answer. He’d do anything to protect the only one that was left, the one he’d saved from death when he was an abandoned Sandile.

Waking up in a hideous twist of fate as that very Krokorok made him both bitterly mourn his lost friend and strangely accepting of his fate, feeling that in some way this was an atonement for not protecting the others, being forced to live out their life just as unprotected as they were. Fighting the tears, determined to survive, Damon set out into the forest to try and find some way of letting the truth be known. All he wanted was to stop Xexan’s cruelty. He didn’t care what happened to him ultimately, so long as he saved the Pokémon from that horrible fate.

Other: He'll be more of a clear character once I actually rp him a bit. Understandably I'm more invested in Tiffany ^^

Gender: M

Age: 25

Government Role: Secret Service

Description:

http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x284/monkeybones1989/Gundam%2000/139.jpg

A green-eyed, wavy haired blonde, Spencer has looks perhaps a bit younger than he actually is. He has a thin, athletic build that is the result of his boot camp and subsequent secret service training. Covering the expanse of his body is a small host of scars, each with their own elaborate stories.

His wardrobe is filled with suits of all kinds, the normal garb for his duties in protecting his high profile marks. He works out and jogs in old military garb, kept from his boot camp days.

Personality:

- Brash and headstrong.
- An individual who is used to working alone or with other secret service agents, his opinions on the other agencies differ from indifference to annoyance
- Has an intense loyalty to both his duties and those he is sworn to protect. As such he takes his job incredibly seriously, and dislikes anyone who wastes his time, gets in the way, or insults his job.
- Dislikes medicine.
- Tends to be a controlling and strict leader when it comes to his Pokémon, like they were his soldiers, but there is a respect both ways.
- Tends to be on the arrogant side.

History:

- Came from a family of lawyers, his mother a criminal defense lawyer and his father a prosecutor. As such he has a strong sense of the law and justice and an interesting point of view on what it truly means to be guilty.
- Despite the fact that he did great in school, had an above-average IQ, and he was pushed towards moving in his parents footsteps he instead signed up for the military right out of high school.
- Posted boot camp best scores for all ‘Protect the Target’ training drills. Led his troop in a great many other drills, except for those for leadership, where he was simply middle of the pack.
- Had a variety of different groups looking at his progress, from the army Special Forces to government agencies like the NSA and the FBI. However, his high protection training drills drew the attention of the Secret Service, who snatched him up first.
- Signed with the Secret Service at an incredibly young age, 22, and went into specialized training. Learned quickly, living up to his high potential.
- Was put on and is still taking part in an on-the-job training, partnering with a veteran Secret Service agent.
- Went with the veteran Secret Service agent on his task to guard Kate Lincoln, daughter of popular Elite Four member Caitlyn, on her Pokémon journey. Spencer was going to get the food, Poké balls, and medical supplies while the others went on an overnight Pokémon catching spree. They disappeared.
- His frantic search for what might have happened to the two dug up other such disappearances in the surrounding area, all linked to the mysterious corporation Xexan. He demanded to be let into the loop, in the hopes of finding his partner and Kate Lincoln alive.

Victim Trainer Sign Up

Name: Becca Halliel
Gender: female
Age: 16
Pokémon: Luxray

Description: http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k469/kpop10/not%20my%20stuff/luxrayf.jpg
As a human, she was fairly tall and fair-skinned with short brown hair and pale green eyes that needed glasses. Forced into a Pokemon, she now has the body that was once her Luxray. The spiked mane and rough fur, shorter than a male Luxray, normally are slate grey or black. Her fur is dark navy. The shorter fur around her face, waist and legs is darker than the usual sky blue. This also makes her eyes and yellow points really stand out brightly. There is a bite taken out of the star that tips her tail, the fang marks making it look almost like a butterfly. Becca’s chip has been implanted under the rough fur of her left shoulder, directly behind her leg.

Personality: Becca has always been a nice girl, good to those around her. Sometimes this could be troublesome since there are those who would take advantage of that kindness, but for the most part, she easily makes friends who like that about her. Not really shy, she does not make any attempts to stand out though, preferring to simply say what she feels needs to be said at the time. Becca is the listener and referee. When two friends would be arguing, she was the first to call for an end when things got heated. Not always sure of what to say, she will patiently hear out problems. Unfortunately, she is also quite easily heartbroken. Hearing of another’s difficulties will trouble her. And if you hurt her, expect her to feel it for a while, even after she seems to move on with things. Something of a bookworm, Becca knows a good deal. You could not call her a genius of any sort, but she is intelligent and clever in taking care of herself most of the time. She knows enough of technology to get by in the world. Most of her own knowledge is in the base of nature. She loves the natural world and has always liked to travel, seeing new things and learning is a major part of her life. She became a trainer in fact to travel to new places.

Confidence has always been one of her major weaknesses. While she was never really confident about her own abilities, she loved the Pokemon she met and enjoyed the time spent training them. She believed in the things they were capable of and they became her confidence. Thinking about never see them again is the worst pain she has ever felt, her best friends are gone. They had needed her, and she needed them. She cannot stand the thought of her fate occurring again to someone else. Even in the body of one of her toughest Pokemon, her confidence has been broken. Suddenly having the Luxray’s power is unsettling and disorienting to her. Holding on to electricity is tiring and her ability to see through objects has been involuntary causing her further stress. Feeling lost and unsure what to do, she knows she needs to move, but finding the strength is difficult.

History: Born in the small community of Sinnoh’s Celestic Town, Becca grew up learning about the past and how Pokemon related to people through it. There were not many her age in the small town so they were all fairly close. She was usually the one reassuring others or interceding when there was a dispute, and everyone liked her kind attitude. Despite all her encouragement for others though, she was often rather discouraged herself. She could have every confidence in the world for her friends, but they did not always need her in order to know what they were capable of. This made her somewhat timid in her own abilities, and perhaps even a bit lonely. Even when the oldest of her friends set out on the League Challenge, she was thinking that there was not much chance she had what it took to compete.

When it came she was old enough, despite the assurance of others, she declined. And she declined the next year as two more left. And the next. It wasn’t until she was thirteen, when the last of their small group was getting ready to leave, that she was finally convinced to take the chance. The promise of seeing new places was the biggest factor in her decision however. Becca still did not believe she could take on other trainers. So, receiving a young Turtwig, she set out towards Eterna City. The first place she always wanted to go see was the library at Canalave City. The trip was not going so well for her though. Being a trainer, she was of course challenged to battles. Not wanting to always back down, she would accept. Unfortunately, her Turtwig, now named Bramble, was terribly shy. Battles with other trainers started out as disastrous failures since Becca often second-guessed herself and it made Bramble even more timid in his attacks. She managed to catch a Hoothoot in Eterna Forest, but where Bramble was very shy, Mistral was quite arrogant. He did not listen well which only served to further Becca’s uncertainty.

It was nearing Floaroma Town that things began to change. She had Bramble out walking with her in an attempt to ease his shyness when a pair of trainers came off a path onto the main route, talking about the Pokemon that managed to get away. They were apparently surprised and one seemed angry that it had beaten off his Pokemon and broken three pokeballs despite all the damage done to it. When the other asked why he just left it there, he said that it was too stubborn to be any good anyway. Hearing this distressed Becca. Nothing deserved to be dismissed as no good. Taking the path they had just left, she began searching for the Pokemon. Thoughts that she was being silly, if it was that tough it could be gone already, and there was probably nothing she could do if she did find it kept buzzing through her mind. Bramble followed as she could not stop looking.

Becca finally found what had to be the Pokemon, a young Luxio. She was lying under a bush, breathing heavily and looking a mess, her tail starting to scab over from a bite wound. All around the area were claw marks in the earth, singed grass from electric attacks and possibly fire attacks from the trainer’s Pokemon, and broken plants. As soon as the Luxio realized someone was approaching, she let loose a flurry of sparks. This startled Becca enough that she sat down when she stepped back. They watched each other for a minute. Despite her obvious exhaustion, the Luxio was defiant, still ready to protect herself and fight. It was enough to impress Becca, and remind her of her own short-comings. How could she ever expect to face trainers of any kind when she could not stand up for herself? This time it was the Luxio who was surprised when the human sitting on the ground began to cry. She was not crying hard, or loudly, but tears dripped down her cheeks as she let out small sobs. Her Turtwig, who had run back onto the path when the Luxio sparked, stepped out watching his trainer in confusion. Becca found herself asking out loud where she could find confidence like that. She looked at the Pokemon, still breathing heavily and covered in a dozen small wounds and more scratches. Even if the Luxio did not want her help, she needed it, and Becca had to try. Whether the Pokemon had understood her, Becca did not know, but she did not try to attack when the girl approached her again.

She did not leave while the Luxio was being cared for in the Pokemon Center. After she was released, Becca was surprised to find her waiting outside. She seemed rather reluctant, but somehow willing to follow the fretful trainer. Things began to turn around from there. Becca named her Roxie, and when she battled, no matter how much the trainer second-guessed herself, the Luxio fought with certainty. It was far from an automatic change, they still lost many battles, but it did get better. After a while, Becca began to realize how much her Pokemon were capable of and how much they needed to know she was behind them. She found that while Bramble was incredibly shy, he also had a great deal of strength and could unleash that if guided the right way. Mistral had an uncanny sense to know when he needed to attack and when he needed to wait. It took a while to get past his arrogance, but with a little patience –and a little reminder from Roxie when he got out of line- he also opened up to his trainer.

Over the next three years, Becca’s Pokemon evolved and she added to her team, loving every one as she learned the different traits of each. Those first three were always with her though, as her strength. She needed them, and they needed her. Roxie had become the closest though. The now Luxray never ceased to amaze her trainer with the courage and confidence she always shared. It was just recently that Becca had arrived in Unova to stretch her horizons further. She loved traveling and seeing how things were different from place to place. She may have decided against this region had she heard more about the disappearances before arriving. Still, she joined up with a small group of trainers that had taken the advice to travel together. As long as they were in a group and had their Pokemon, they were safe, right? It was one evening on Route 6 that they found out this was wrong. The group was separated by a herd of Deerling and Sawsbuck. Becca and Roxie were trying to find everyone else when an unknown shape slammed into the Luxray. Before Becca could even turn to see what it was, something seemed to explode against her head and the world went black.

Becca woke to a terrible headache and horrible sounds. There seemed to be cries all around her, some further away were more distressed than those nearby. Looking around, she and her Pokemon were in a cell of some kind. Her pokeballs and her gear were nowhere around. There were others and she could see one of the trainers she had been traveling with in another cell with his Pokemon as well. She was about to call out to him when someone who looked like a doctor walked up with something that suddenly filled her with terror. It was a tall human -at least he used to be human- who had features of an Arbok, like the flared hood on either side of his neck, and a Zebstrika. She could not find words to even ask what was going on. Roxie and some of her other Pokemon growled as the two looked over those in the cell. After a moment, the human chimera nodded at the other and they walked away. It did not take long for the other “doctor” to return though with some other strange people to begin taking her Pokemon away. One by one, they were dragged off screaming, sounds that broke Becca further each time. Her Camerupt was killed in front of her, given so many tranquilizers to stop her rampaging that her heart stopped. She watched as the same thing happened to her friend, each of his Pokemon disappearing through some door. One day, he was pulled from the cell, the two Pokemon left behind attacking the barred door to get at the ones taking him. Becca tried to block out the screams she began to hear, which then stopped all too suddenly. After a while, a stretcher was carried through with the lifeless trainer laying across it, all she could see were fried wires embedded into his arm. Becca could not help but wonder what they had tried to do to him...and what else they might be planning.

It felt like she had been there forever, but it could only have been a week. The day after her friend died, they came for her. Only Roxie was left with her. The Luxray was tired from staying alert constantly and thinning from refusing to eat anything they brought. She still sparked and growled dangerously as the scientists approached. Becca was clinging to her, her last remaining strength. She was scared as powerful Pokemorphs put restraints on the Luxray then dragged both of them from the cell. Roxie fought the restraints until they began to draw blood as her trainer was strapped down and a needle pushed into her arm. Then came the question...

Would you die to save your Pokémon?

Through the growing haze, she could see and hear her closest friend fighting so hard to get to her. To protect that, of course she would. How could they expect any other answer? For the second time in a week, the world went black as she was uncertain of what was to come.

Other: X-ray vision rocks, dude! With the Luxray’s vision, Becca is able to see through objects.

Had too many distractions to really sit down with this and figure it out. Only finished at 3:20 this morning, so please excuse any funkiness that might appear near the end. ^^;

It's awesome, no funkiness in sight. Nice job, you're definitely in. Enjoy the RP!

Spike never N E V E R had any parents, and no, he WAS NOT born, he was a science project by an old dead and closed company in Sinnoh called Zulao. Spike was supposed to be an angel in which could bring pokemon and humans back to life, the experiment failed, all they did was made a normal old trainer, at first it was confused, what was it, a he or a she? Then the doctors told him, he went to the pokemon lab looking for something, they had ONE pokemon left, but it was a pokemon they just recently caught, after being a darn good trainer he sailed to Unova and him Absol and his other pokemon were going to catch all the pokemon!

When he got hit behind he didn't get scared, do to the fact he wasn't human, either way he was left with one pokemon when they asked him the question, Spike didn't answer, because he knew this was different then he found himself in his pokemons body thinking

I'm back...

Name: Gregory Crick (do not call him "Greg")

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Government Role: None. Works independently as a detective that the government has hired, however.

Description: Gregory stands at 6'2", with a thin build. He has slightly tan complexion. His face is oval shaped, with dirty blond hair covering the top. He is clean shaven, and has piercing eyes that act as though they are x-rays. His irises are browner towards his pupils, and greener away from them. The green vaires in relative size, so his irises look not unlike kalaidescopes.

Gregory does not generally look impressive, usually wearing a plain, red, short-sleeved T-Shirt on top of ordinary blue jeans. He always wears a white cap, which never leaves his head and stores his Pokeballs. He is never, however, seen without a book in his hands or somewhere similar.

Personality: Gregory is an awkward young man, never fitting in, and yet, remians fairly idealistic. He believes that no matter what, humans and Pokemon are basicallly good, and that evil comes from motives twisted as opposed to perversity. However, this does not stay his hand if his opponent has crossed te so-called "Moral Event Horizon".

However, what stands out most about Gregory is his intelligence. It is quite nearly impossible to hide anything from him, as he is able to "Sherlock-scan" better than Sir Doyle's himself. He has an M.D. and two Ph.D.s (biochemistry and mathematics), and he knows of many more random things. Because of his intelligence, he is usually out of it, trying to figure something out. However, when he is in the game, he plays hard.

Gregory has a quirk that has behooved him on many occassions: no matter the stress in a situation, he always remains calm. This is not an act; he does not feel stress the way most people do, and thus reacts as such. He still has emotions, just not anger.

Gregory's main weakness, however, is social cues. He cannot read a person's emotions at the moment for his life, and any attempts to do so will fail. If someone is clearly enraged with him, for example, he will think they are annoyed - at something else.

History: Gregory was born to a loving mother, a Nurse Joy, and a nurturing father, an engineer in charge of the water supply, in Nimbasa City. He had no siblings, but that did not matter. From an early age, he had been raised with Pokemon, weak, strong, beautful, ugly, strange and charming. He was always entraced with Pokemon, and couldn't wait for his tenth birthday.

On the evening before this important date, Gregory went out for a walk with his mother. As
they walked, he noticed something odd. Two mushrooms poked out of he ground, howeverr, they were identical, and, more importantly, were trembling. He called his mothers attention to the situation, and, when they investigated further, they found a Paras, bruised, cut, and burned. Gregory and his mother ran to the Pokemon Center with the Paras, where it was treated and revitalized. When Professor Juniper came to Gregory's home the next day, Gregory declined a starter Pokemon from her, starting his journey with Paras. He put Paras in a Pokeball, but was stopped by his mother before he could leave. She was impressed with the way Gregory handled the situation with Paras, and gave him a Happiny to take with him also, a rarity in Unova.

Gregory, not wanting to miss out on his education, took classes via his Xtransiever, where he excelled as he journeyed further. He evolved his Paras and Happiny, and caught and fully evolved four other Pokemon over the course of his journey. He and his Pokemon calmly, cooly, and slightly viciously obliterated every Gym in Unova and, as he journeyed further, Hoenn and Sinnoh, he declined each time , however, to face the Elite Four and Champion, saying, "I don't want the fame. Fame is a burden that is too heavy for anyone."

Gregory's intelligence carried him far, and he finished all his current degrees by the age of 17. Over the course of his journey, he learned much about many different things, which lead to his not-lightly-taken analytical ability. However, he decided to take off for a year, and went to Pinwheel Forest, meditating, learning, watching. His affinity for Pokemon, already excellent, had peaked, and he developed sharp senses as well.

Gregory sat, at peace away from people. Two things occured after 5 years that took him out of the Forest. One, he decided he learned all he could from there. Second, he was attacked from behind. Fortunately, his incredible senses warned him of the attack before it happened, and his attacker was dispatch easily.

Gregory found out that there were rumors of similar attacks when he went back to civilization, and decided that theey could not be tolerated. He opened a detective firm in Castelia which gained an impressive reputation over the course of 2 years. He offered his services to the Unova government to solve the case of the disappearances (for free). This offer was accepted.

Pokémon:

Parasect (male): His first Pokemon, and his best. It is perpetually happy, and much more powerful than the average of its species.

Blissey (female): His second Pokemon. It is very motherly, kind, and able to hand anyone's asses to them, particularly if Gregory or his other Pokemon are threatened.

Skarmory(male): A Pokemon with a bit of an inflated head, though Parasect is often there to stop it before it gets out of hand.

Claydol (-): A Pokemon who usually does not see the front lines in battle, preferring to assist as opposed to attack.

Dusknoir (male): A conniving, ruthless Pokemon that serves as Gregory's Poisonous Friend.

Vaporeon (female): A Pokemon that is Gregory's main way of crossing "aqueous terrain". She
has zero tolerance for B.S.

Other: Gregory always has two concealed secret weapons on his person at all times, which vary in position and type from day to day.
