The Masuda Method is pretty simple. It's when two Pokemon are bred together normally, but are from different country game cards. So you breed a Male Teddiursa from a US game, with a Female Teddiursa from a Japanese game. The only benefits this provides is that the chance of a shiny is greatly increased, however, it's still a very, VERY small chance to obtain one, but if you're trying to breed a shiny, it's the way to go.

tl;dr: breed two pokemon from different countries for higher chance of shinies hatching.

It's a 4th gen only thing though, the coding was not included for this in Black and White.

I have a Ditto, but the OT name is in English and the Ditto's Nickname is in Kanji.
As the OT name is English, does it mean the Ditto is English?
