Gaining Fans In Emerald...

In Emerald, how do you get all of the Fan Club people to revere you? I was told by someone that you just gotta battle the reporters alot, but I've been battling them 6 or 7 times a day and I still only have 3 fans out of a possible 8.

Over 100 times now, the only thing I haven't done is beat the battle frontier and these people still think that Steven and Wallace and Norman are better than me.

And yes I have beaten Steven, and been checking in regularly to see if he'll battle me again, and yes I've beaten Norman more than once, I've gone through the gym leaders 2 or 3 times each now.

Are these people just programmed to be retarded or am I doing something wrong?

anyway, you have to beat the people who the fans say are better than you over 50 times.
this is extremely difficult in ruby and sapphire, but easier in emereald, which i have:biggrin: unfortunately, it's corrupt :sad: oh well, life gos on:happy:

Well I've beaten Wallace over 100 times, cuz he's the League Champ, I don't know if it's possible to beat Steven 50 times, and it takes a long time for Norman to recover from my destroying him each time.

OR... sneak into game freak at night, steal the master cartridge, alter it, plug it into your game and get all the fans :shifty:
