Seeing as my Summer is coming to an end, I've been wondering, when does yours end? School means Less Activity, therefore, we should be more inactive than ever, or maybe not ever, but you know. :(

So what month do you start school back?

I start back on August 9th ;(

This right here.

Us Brits go back in September. I also go back on the 8th. The summer holiday is only 3 (or 5, if you count the recent weekend) days in for us. :p

I start classes this month, on the 26th.

I'm glad I'm going back to school so I can actually use my brain for once, but I'm not looking forward to the textbook costs. Those are a killer.

lolololololol I'm nearly finished school. I end in about November... Well, actually, my classes end near the end of October, and my exams are in November. If I wasn't in year 12 this year and I was still at school (rather than moving on to uni next year), then I'd start at the end of January. Because I'm from the Southern Hemisphere. xD

It makes a lot more sense to start at the BEGINNING of the year, not the end. xD

I finish at the end of October this year, don't start back till March 1 next year. FOUR MONTH HOLIDAY HOORAY. I'm going to get insanely bored again.

... ... ... ... ... I do not understand long summer breaks. Back when I went to local German schools, we had like 5 weeks off and then we went back to school. I have gone to an American high school for four years though, and the summer vacations are freakin' 2-3 months long. O.o

We get like 2 months off. 3 months if the Winters are good!~

Well your average school around here (until college) has a 2-3 month summer break. But us Uni students finish earlier than other schools, and start a month later. Hence the four month break. xD

Seriously, the first time I had that long off last year I wanted to pitch myself off a cliff. IT'S TOO LONG, MAN. It's like you spend a third of the year doing nothing. D: Life wasted.

Here, we offer intersesion and summer courses, so that problem is minimised. However, the choices are kinda weak and inflexible so...

My vote should change to January. In the end, I'm not going back to high school, but by time everything played out, it was too late to get into Uni this semester. Going to have to wait until the winter...
