I recently started playing Pokemon Blue again out of sheer boredom, and I only have one more badge to get. But the problem is, I have raised my Pokemon very badly and have ended up having one strong Pokemon and lots of weak ones. So my current team stands at:

Charizard L58
Farfetch'd L15
Nidorina L33
Hitmonchan L30
Lapras L15
Aerodactyl L30

I don't know how it got so bad hehe... I've tried training them up, but it just isn't working and I know I can't face the elite 4 with just one strong Fire Pokemon. Any advice?

P.S. I have a Pidgeotto in the daycare centre who was at L36 when I last saw him.

If I recall any pokemon in the daycare doesn't get a any stats when it's leveling in there. But I can't see how you could so far with just a fire type, but try training your pokemon aginst higher lvl pokemon, not extremely high but a little bit higher. Also make sure you have lots of hyper or super potion (depens of hp) and use ti when they really need it.

That's how I raise my pokemon.

pidgey lv.3
oddish lv.13
diglett lv.15
drowzee lv.12
lapras lv.15:biggrin:

i won because i wound up training my Kangaskhan. Realy wanted to see how dizzy punch worked.

Um if you want to beat the elit4 I would suggest just sticking it out and training against wild pokemon. You could always use the Missigno. glitch. Or try catching some of the legendary birds.

Ok I just found out what will be good trainning, but it will take a LONG time. When you battle your pokemon's stats will rase slightly, but you won't see it untill it grows a lvl. Each battle it'll raise so fight lots of weak pokemon so get a huge stat boost, and DON'T USE MISSINGNO!!!!! How many times must we say it, don't use missingno! If you do your game is screwed!!

I'm probably a little late on this, but I'm a Red/Blue/Yellow smartass, so...:D

Try the bait and retreat method in the Cinnabar Mansion(Put your low level Pokémon at the top, and as you encounter a wild Pokémon, switch it with the higher level Pokémon and cream it. Your lower ranking Pokémon will get half the experience... though I'm sure you know all this already). Worked in my early days of training for my Kabuto. Perserverance is the key, brother.

Oh, and no Rare Candy(They suck), and no Daycare Center(They suck).

But wouldn't it be better to have a high lvl pokemon with high stats? If no one believes me catch two of the same pokemon with the same lvl and stats, train one and lvl it extremely fast. Then train the other slowly on weak pokemon to the others lvl, you will see a big difference in stats.

O.o As it seems nobody has cared to help the lady out yet....
And I don't know; Personaly I think you should just train them.

That Charizard should be enough to slap around the Elite 4. Provided it has a decent variety of moves. Flamethrower, Swords Dance, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Body Slam/Slash(lol, i dunno), friggin Wing Attack for Bruno(). Pack some Ethers and Elixers! It can be done. I'd save before and after every battle.
