Begin your countdown calenders, Zelda fans, because the release date for the next adventure has been announced for the Wii! Right in time for the holiday season:

Europe -- November 18th, 2011

USA -- November 20th, 2011

I'm super stoked, guys, how about you? Recently, I been playing through Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, and it's only serving to make me all the more excited to see what Nintendo has worked up for us this time. So far, from what I know of the story of Skyward Sword, it sounds quite intriguing, and the gameplay looks fun! Not to mention the beautiful animation! :D And... riding birds = awesome epicness!

So, guys, how 'bout you? Are you looking forward to this new Zelda game?

It is kind of strange that Nintendo is still releasing and hyping games that are coming out for an older system when their next system will be released soon. Odd.

Anyway. I might buy it, depending on if I can find another job or not. -.-

GameInformer said they're trying to get as much as they can out of the Wii before it dies. I'll probably keep mine because I have Star Fox Assault, and the WiiU doesn't have GC capability. Plus, I also have Luigi's Mansion().

That's great! I've been waiting for this.
Now I can start saving up for it.

I don't play my Wii at all anymore, so I could care less about it coming out.

I don't see why they didn't move it onto the WiiU, it would've still had the hype, and probably, even more.

I'm hoping they'll also release it for the Wii U. Twilight Princess was released for the Gamecube and the Wii, even when it was brand new, but they differed only extremely slightly differently.

Personally, I also like the idea of being able to play while someone else uses the TV. Genius.:cool2:
