In ancient times, no such buffers kept the larger World divided; there were no walls of light enclosing each smaller world the way they do today. Nothing prevented one from physically interfering with the next.

At that time, the World was filled with light, and a great many Keyblade wielders. But without buffers, the worlds began to squabble over ownership of the light. You see, they learned of the Keyblade’s true use. War broke out as each of the Keyblade wielders struggled to lay claim to an almighty entity known as Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts could be described as an aggregate of hearts. Worlds, too, have hearts, just like people; each world’s heart is concealed from sight, beyond a hidden door. By gathering all the hearts of all the worlds in a single place, one may complete Kingdom Hearts.

-Xehanort’s Report 3

The course of history has greatly shown that with great power comes great corruption. Greatness springs from the heart that bears that burden with humility and control, yet darkness is born from the weaknesses of men who fall into temptation’s path. Such was the case of the legendary Keyblade Wielders. At one time, they were as common in the wide World as the stars in the sky, each chosen by the strength of their heart or by inheritance from a true master. They were given the keys to wondrous powers of peace… or destruction. For a time, the light of the World was protected by the wielders, but soon darkness was born in the hearts of greedy men. With all their power, the key bearers could not stop its spread, and some became corrupted themselves. After all, they, too, were only human.

A great and terrible war erupted, devastating the World of Worlds. Those who remained loyal to the light clashed against they who had accepted the darkness, yet either side was giving in to the thirst of power. Equally matched, no victories were made. The only thing the Keyblade War achieved was the separation of worlds, and the near-destruction of the bearers themselves. Eventually the war was brought to an end, and its account slowly faded from the pages of history. With their numbers diminished, the Keyblade wielders chose to fade into the background. Much knowledge of their own potential had been lost, yet what was remembered was silently and secretively passed from one generation to the next.

Within time, the numbers of the Chosen began to steadily rise once again, but there was a shortage of Masters available to teach the new wielders. Realizing this new dilemma, a group of veterans decided to come together and create a place to foster learning and growth, a place where it would be easier to teach large groups of hopefuls. Together, they searched the stars for a place they could give their vision a home, and found it in a world covered in vast forests. It seemed uninhabited by intelligent life-forms, the perfect place to keep their work secret.

The Masters dubbed the world Everlastia, in hopes that the ways of the keyblade would last ever onward there, then set to work building the Keyblade Guild. Not long after they laid the foundation did remarkable things occur. A peculiar tree with leaves of white and bark of silver sprouted at the heart of the Guild. At night, its boughs were alive with light, which the founding Masters took as a good omen for their future. From then on, it was called the Tree of Blessings, and it was shown to reflect the spirit of the people who resided there. Yet this world did not cease to amaze its new occupants. The other trees surrounding the Guild grew massively large, but when made into paper and bound into a book a special magic was born. Any who read an Everlastian book could be literally whisked away to another world. The founding Masters saw much potential with these books, ways to aide them in the continuing battle against the darkness.

After becoming firmly established, the Masters’ vision became a reality. New keyblade bearers were recruited by Seekers venturing through the books to other worlds. These students were given training on a general level, then paired with a Master for personal instruction. Once they were proficient enough, the students were allowed to use the books to travel to other worlds to fulfill what the Founders thought was the best way to combat the darkness: find and seal the worlds’ keyholes. When the time would come, the student would be examined for the Mark of Mastery; should they pass, they would become a full-fledged Master, and have the choice to stay and train others, or leave to fight the darkness on their own initiative.

The Keyblade Guild thrived for several decades, even after the Founding Masters passed away. The torch of the Keyblade Wielder was passed from one generation to the next, with knowledge growing and their light growing stronger. Yet all could not remain peaceful, as the hunt for more knowledge and power continued. Light casts shadows, and darkness found a way into the hearts of few. As the one hundred year anniversary of the Guild’s founding approached, a great division occurred within its halls as a handful of Masters began to question the old ways. So much was still unanswered, forgotten in the tides of the great Keyblade War. Was it truly their calling to fight the unending darkness? Surely, there had to be more to the Keyblade then that. With such questions in their minds, these Masters began to believe that there was no real way to eradicate the forces of darkness. Some thought that it could only be kept at bay, and that the best way to do that was to somehow control it. The Elders and those undeniably allied to the light flat-out refused these notions, and banished the dark wielders from the Guild.

Despite their departure, seeds of corruption had already been sown. The apprentices of the dark wielders secretly continue to practice what they had been taught under the noses of the Elders, and rebellion is growing in their hearts. Doubt and distrust are quickly spreading as darkness begins to thrive within the Guild. The Elders and Masters are finding their hands full these days as they discover that a new threat is endangering the order of the worlds: creatures of the shadows known as Heartless. They have started appearing in other worlds, threatening the lives of the peaceful natives, and it seems that the Keyblade is the only way to defeat them. Though problems are starting to grow within the Guild itself, the Elders are sending Masters—and even Apprentices or Recruits—to other worlds to investigate this disturbing outbreak of monsters.

Yet on the home front, things will never be the same. For so long, the keyblade bearers were fighting the darkness in the outside world, but they never expected the darkness to be spreading within their own. The time is quickly approaching when the bearers will be force to pick a side. Will you fight for the light? Or will you join in the pursuit of power?

Note: In regards to the Kingdom Hearts timeline, this RP occurs after the events of Birth by Sleep—but before Sora’s first great adventure.

The Keyblade Guild
Faces and Places

http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m399/PowerCampGal/Renders%20and%20Backups/KeybladeMap.png

The Guild is built like a series of mini castles, crafted from white marble. Circles represent towers (except for the Tree of Blessings, of course), and the left and right side of the Guild are surrounded by forest. To the north lies the Training fields, and to the South is the Journey River—which can only be crossed at the main bridge leading into the Great Hall. Down that river one can find the quiet village known as Ryverton, where some of the world’s non-wielder citizens live.

The Great Hall: This is the main entrance to the Guild, just across from a bridge that spans over the Journey River. Here, one finds the ballroom and the throne-like Council Room where the Elders often work. On either wing of the Great Hall building are classrooms where both Apprentices and Recruits alike are taught. Unlike modern classrooms, these studios are wide and roomy, used for both lectures and fencing practices.

The Library: Across the courtyard directly behind the Great Hall is the massive Library. Two stories tall, the entire building is dedicated to the books leading to other worlds. Most of its halls remain empty, still waiting for books to be crafted to fill their shelves. Currently, both floors on in the middle section are full, while the west wing houses some non-magical books for the enjoyment of students. The Library’s solitary tower is strictly off-limits to students, being the private housing for the Elders.

Mess Hall: Here one can find the cafeteria, food stores, kitchens, and so on. It’s one of the newer buildings in the Guild, and lacks the castle-like design of the other buildings.

Armory: Sitting before the field students call “the Arena”, the Armory is run by—you guessed it—the Moogles. Here, weapons, armor, and such are forged for wielders young and old. The Arena is a field where students can practice sparring, though most often it is used for rivalry challenges. Other fields are cleared around the Armory, used for instructions and obstacle courses.

Dorms and the Apprentice Halls: These buildings are the housing for the students, and look quite cathedral-like in architecture. New recruits who have yet to gain an apprenticeship reside in the dorms, while apprentices live in the halls. Rooms are assigned three students apiece. Masters who stay within the Guild live within the towers, getting much more private rooms.

Rankings:

Within the Guild, wielders are separated into several different groups. New students are given the rank of a Recruit, and after becoming apprenticed to a Master they can achieve several other titles: Supporter, Locker, Seeker, Master, Keeper, or Bookbinder. The highest group is the Elders, who are basically the main staff of the Guild.

--Recruit: The entry level. Students in this category have just been discovered by a Seeker, and are new to the ways of the Keyblade. Here, they receive education on their newfound abilities and other matters surrounding the Keyblade in a formal classroom setting. Those not experienced in swordplay are given basic training in that area.

--Apprentice: The second level. Students in this rank have been apprenticed to a Master (who must formally ask the Elders permission to train this student), and are expected to learn how to apply their new knowledge. The Master personalizes the next level of teaching to his or her pupil, so that their inner abilities may be discovered or unlocked. After being through enough training, the pupil can go to other worlds to assist in locking the keyholes or seeking new recruits.

--Seeker: Apprentice or Master task. Seekers, well, seek. They are sent out to search out the worlds when a new Keyblade bearer is detected by the Elders. After finding them, they are responsible for bringing the new bearer back to the Guild. Most often newly fledged Masters who have yet to take on an apprentice are given this task, though some of the oldest, most experienced Apprentices can be picked as well.

--Master: Highest level granted by the Guild. After being examined for the Mark of Mastery by the Elders (and hopefully succeeding), these wielders get the fancy title of Master. They have been taught everything the Guild can offer about the ways of the Keyblade, and are thus able to act on their own initiative—so long as they don’t interfere with the Guild’s order. They may take on their own apprentice (they can have several at a time), or pass the key to someone they find worthy. Now and again, they might be given assignments from the Elders of the Guild to lock keyholes, seek new students, or investigate problems with darkness. A group of Masters known as Keepers stay to defend the Guild from harm, or take care of its land, or work within the Library.

--Elder: One of the leaders of the Guild. The Elders make up a council of seven who dictate and manage the many aspects of the Guild. The oldest, wisest, and most experienced of Masters, these men and women are granted authority over the Masters who stay within the Guild. They have the last say in every matter, save it be the Bookbinder’s choices.

--Bookbinder: Mysterious craftsmen within the Library. They are secretive and rarely seen, but it is they who create the books and choose Lockers. Bookbinders are usually Masters, and they can have apprentices, but usually they keep to themselves and their work.

The Books of the Library

As years passed by, the art of book-making became a well-kept secret within the Guild. Those responsible for creating those books became just as secretive—most rarely being seen by the rest of the Guild. When a new book to a new world is crafted, the bookbinder seeks out the keyblade bearer they feel is best suited for locking the world’s heart. Since they prefer to stay unanimous, most don’t actually hand the books over in person. Rather, they leave the book some place where they knew the chosen bearer will find it. On rare occasions, younger apprentices may receive a book, but the Elders never question the bookbinder’s decision (even if they don’t like it).

After the world’s heart is secured, the book is stored in the ever-increasing Library, where they can be accessed again with special permission. Most often, it is the seekers who re-enter books, though Masters are allowed to use them as they please. Nowadays, the books are being used to investigate the spread of the Heartless by bearers of all ranks. However, it is utterly forbidden for wielders of any rank to interfere with the affairs of these worlds. Indeed, they must interact as little as possible with the inhabitants. Librarians working within the library regulate the usage of the books, though are not affiliated with the binders.

The books’ magic activates as soon as one opens their pages. Anyone touching the book’s holder at that time joins them as they jump to another world. The world’s book itself travels with the bearer, and when the Keyblade wielder’s task is done it can transport him/her back to Everlastia. Bearers are warned to keep a close eye on their book, because if they lose it they have no way to return back.

Name: Rush Peterson

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Alignment: Light

Rank: Recruit

Appearance: Rush may be a bit short for his age, and as a result people often mistake him for being younger. He doesn’t have much strength to speak off, being a little on the frail side, but he can be quick when it comes to it. Though he’s adjusted to certain fashions of this new world he found himself thrown into, he retains the look and feel of a typical Pokémon Trainer, with a street-worthy jacket barred black, white, and red. Because he’s required to, he wears a bit of armor in the form of finger-less gauntlets, but he won’t be giving up the black ski cap that he hides his shag-style blonde hair under. His sapphire-blue eyes sparkle with a keen eagerness to please.

Personality: The ideals and principals of the Pokémon world stuck with Rush when he entered the world of a keyblade bearer. Gentle and caring, Rush is ever the pacifist. He isn’t overly fond of fighting in any form, and would prefer to avoid it completely if at all possible. Because of this, he has little confidence in his ability as a keyblade bearer. Though he longs to do good, he just can’t quite get with the program. How could weapons solve anything? With a questioning attitude like that, Rush has been faltering with his training—the sole reason why he has been stuck as a recruit for so long. Once bright and optimistic on the outside, the boy now deals with discouragement and fears. Still, Rush finds comfort in the friendships he has gained within the Guild. He places great trust in them, and would be willing to give anything for them.

History: Rush came from a world we are all very well acquainted with, a world that for so long remained far and separate from the others dotting the grand expanse of the universe. Yet when he was still quite young, those protected borders fell apart, thanks to research into Shadow Pokémon and their hearts. Heartless were attracted by the darkness unleashed in those creatures’ hearts, and it caused all sorts of trouble for the locals. Trainers were unable to fight against them, since they quickly figured out that Heartless couldn’t be captured by Poké Balls.

Luckily, a book was forged back in Everlastia that allowed the keyblade bearers to come to the rescue. They were able to fight the Heartless back, find the world’s keyhole, and prevent the darkness from prevailing. The Legendary Pokémon took over once their work was completed, restoring the order and rebuilding the barriers. Life returned to normal in all the regions, and finally the research done on Shadow Pokémon was destroyed. They keyblade warriors disappeared, and were quite forgotten… until the Elders of the Guild sensed that a new bearer had surfaced.

Rush grew up in the region of Almia, where it was every lad’s dream to become a noble Pokémon Ranger. Adventurous and energetic Rush, too, desired to become one, and was happy to let everyone else know it. He and his close friends would often play-pretend Ranger games, waving sticks around like stylers or performing “Target Clear!” ’s. The Ranger School—where the heroes and heroines were trained—wasn’t very far from his village, and his parents were close friends with a few of the teachers there. The pathway to his dream was clear, every bit as possible as the air he breathed. That is… until he fell unexpectedly ill.

The sickness struck him suddenly and without warning. One minute he was a happy, playful, ten-year-old boy, the next he was struggling for life. All he can remember from this time in his life was the high fever that muddled his thoughts, the coughing fits he never thought would end, and a dream… a strange, strange dream with stained glass and darkness. In the few weak moments he could remember being awake, his mother or father had been watching over him with great concern—and someone else, just behind their shoulders. Who this person was, he wasn’t sure, but he felt like a stranger.

As days turned into long weeks, the doctors didn’t expect Rush’s condition to improve. One after another, they started to give up, but not Rush or his family. They sought for some way to heal their little boy, though it seemed every path they followed led to a dead end. Then one day, someone came to them with an offer. She was dressed very strangely, seeming not at all from their world, and even the way she spoke was peculiar. Eventually, she revealed herself as a Keyblade Wielder. For some time, she had been on the trail of a new bearer, and finally realized that the frail and sickly boy was indeed the one she had been looking for. The strange dream he had been through was in fact his Awakening as a wielder. Being gifted with magic, the woman offers a way to heal Rush of his sicknesses—with a price. Rush would have to come with her back to the Keyblade Guild and learn how to master his abilities.

The choice was difficult for his parents to make. Either way they chose, they were most likely going to lose their boy. In the end, they decided that it was more important to preserve Rush’s life, even if it meant a heart-breaking separation. The Keyblade wielder then took Rush from the Pokemon World, bringing him back to Everlastia to recover from his illness. With her magic, he was able to recover, but even after he tended to be frail and prone to sicknesses. Yet that didn’t discourage the Masters of the Guild from pounding lessons into him. They taught and taught, and he trained and trained… but he had difficult time learning. Years passed by to this very day, where Rush is still a mere Recruit, dreaming of one day returning to his own world.

*******

Name: Vanessa Garrick

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Alignment: Dark

Rank: Master

Appearance: Seductive and beautiful, Vanessa has all the looks of an elegant supermodel. Her fine, porcelain skin is utterly flawless, with perfect red lips standing out on her artfully angled face. Above her unnatural amber eyes, her raven-black hair cascades down past her shoulders gracefully. She stands a little taller than most men, even without her classy black high-heels, and wears a flowing, feminine cloak over figure-fitting combat attire. Her smile is disarming, always hiding a scheme or two.

Personality: Confident and ambitious, Vanessa knows how to use her charms to get what she wants. One word could describe her perfectly: vain. Always hungry and never satisfied with her lust for power, she can be very cunning and manipulative. She treats those below her with condescension, but will appear silky-sweet to those that she believes she can use. Having no fear of the darkness, she will use it as she will, and believes it to be yet another useful tool to get what she wants. Towards the Elders and the “goody-two-shoes” of the Guild, she acts contemptuous and seeks to gain her revenge against them. When angered—which happens often, as she has a short temper—she holds grudges for ages and hasn’t been known to ever forgive her enemies.

History: In her world, before she came to be a keyblade bearer, Vanessa was one of nine princesses of a very wealthy kingdom. Yet the reign of the king in her day was not as extensive as in the past. The Royal Family was more or less an icon for their nation. Nonetheless, they were lavishly rich, and somewhat of a celebrity group to their people. Being the youngest princess, Vanessa was especially spoiled. Since her early days, she was told that she could have whatever she wanted. And that, she took advantage of.

However her mother, the queen, didn’t want her daughter to grow up a spoiled airhead. She whetted Vanessa’s cunning, helping her to realize that having power over others was indeed a desirable gift. Early on, the child learned to deviously manipulate those around her. Vanessa grew to like power—maybe even became obsessive over it. For now, the people thought her harmless, sensing no real maliciousness in her antics. Yet.

When Vanessa reached the age of twelve, she was discovered by a Seeker from the Keyblade Guild. This stranger explained to the king about her potential gifts, but the king would have none of it. It was, after all, improper for a princess to become a warrior. But Vanessa had seen for herself what a keyblade bearer was capable of. If she could wield that same power, then why deny herself the opportunity? Deceiving her family and the keyblade Seeker, Vanessa convinced the stranger to take her back to the Keyblade Guild.

Once there, Vanessa never looked back. Though she missed having the influence she had in her old world, she quickly gained popularity and followers. She hungrily gleaned all knowledge she could gain from the Masters, rising quickly through the ranks. Perhaps the one things she kept from her old world was her mother’s advice. She saw everyone around her as mere tools in getting what she wanted.

Towards the end of her apprenticeship to Master Theron, however, she was growing tired of the Guild. They seemed a little too careful for her liking. Why were they so cautious about the darkness? That she could never understand. Luckily for her, she would get a chance to find out as Master Theron started researching in secret. The old master never sought to gain control of the darkness—rather, he wanted to better understand it, to better combat it. His experiments would later give him great cause for grief… He realized to late the seeds of treason he planted in Vanessa’s heart.

No one within the guild is sure of what happened, but eventually Theron’s experiments ceased. Vanessa passed her Mark of Mastery examination, by some strange means, while Theron was promoted to an Elder. The relationship between the two seemed especially distant during this time, until the day when Master Vanessa unexpectedly disappeared. It wasn’t uncommon for newly fledged Masters to go off on their own, granted, but Vanessa vanished with the slightest trace.

A year passed before Vanessa finally—and suddenly—returned. Yet something seems different about her now. No one in the Guild can exactly place it, though. Regardless, they accepted her back into their ranks, welcoming her as one of their own. The Elders even granted her an Apprentice, at her request. But they never expected the dire consequences for their blind trust…

Can't believe I forgot to mention the amazing visuals ^_^

Name: Iolanthe (she'll usually introduce herself as Ione though) Moreno.

Gender: Female

Age: 16 and a half

Alignment: Light

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Ione! (http://i729.photobucket.com/albums/ww295/Nuit_de_la_lune/IOLANTHE.png) I drew this, please don't steal it!

Personality: What could have been? Parents of criminals and rebels sometimes mutter those words pondering on the future their child might have embraced. Iolanthe never robbed a bank, knifed the innocent, tortured anybody. She, however, is tormented by this question, uttered by her elders at every corner. It may not be obvious at first, but Ione is not like the rest…

Darkness should, by all means, rule her heart. Some think it does, which is the reason behind the fear, rejection she’s faced almost all her life. In reality, there are glaring signs something is wrong. Iolanthe’s negative emotions are powerful, overwhelming, almost to the point of being destructive. When she gets sad, expect buckets of sorrowful tears. Rage will usually bring about screaming, crying and sometimes even full on violence. Random outbursts of frustration are not uncommon, though they have decreased in frequency since she’s been fighting Heartless. Feelings of fear, abandonment and shame run deep within, hard to keep checked. If one looks at her purplish grey eyes in the right light, they’ll most likely see traces of loneliness, Ione has few, if any, real friends.

However, unlike the common belief, there is an internal light to the girl. Iolanthe is a fair person, she dislikes cheating and will try to fight honest whenever possible. An average bystander would note that she is a pretty patient person, who can tolerate long waits with ease. Ione is also, shockingly enough, rather compassionate when given the chance. If someone at the till was short a dollar, she wouldn’t hesitate to give one to them. It may also be a surprise that the girl hates torture in all its forms, seeing others suffer greatly upsets her.

While this goes unknown by even Iolanthe, it is important to note that she cannot allow herself to become too immersed in her own negativity. She is basically, one major depression away from allowing the darkness to overtake her strained heart as it had her mother. So far, her grimmer feelings have been kept in check, but, her strong will only needs to falter once…

History: Ione’s tale really begins six months before her actual birth, the day her father died. During the following weeks, her heartbroken mother began to dabble into Darkness, hoping it would somehow ease the pain. However, the woman was soon overwhelmed by the sheer power it gave her, and began to take things too far. Little did she know the toll this would soon take on her heart, and that of her unborn daughter. Like radiation, Ione’s developing heart was exposed to intensive amounts of Darkness, which, over time, started to warp it. The light she naturally possessed was, luckily, able to minimize the damage she was taking, which is why the girl isn’t badly corrupted. The same cannot be said about her mother, who just weeks after giving birth, was engulfed by Darkness.

Nobody around seemed to know what to make of Ms. Moreno’s disappearance. It, in fact, took a few days before it was discovered she was missing, a worried neighbour entering the unlocked house to find baby Iolanthe crying in her crib, all alone. Books on black magic littered the living room floor, bizarre concoctions taking up much of the cupboards. Evidence of Lucina Moreno’s involvement with darkness was almost everywhere, although few knew the implications of her melding. Being that her parents were both dead and her late husband’s family was unable to take her, Ione ended up staying with the neighbours.

At first, this arrangement worked well, although they never loved her like their own, the couple took decent care of the girl. She often slept, cried plenty and rarely displayed any feelings of joy, a glum expression usually pasted on her young face. As Ione entered the toddler years though, things started to change. She would throw temper tantrums that would last hours, for no real reason. Violent bursts were not uncommon, combined with loud, piecing screams. This seemed like somewhat normal behaviour, but only intensified as time went by. The couple no longer knew what to do; Iolanthe was a nightmare in human form. She was never really happy either, making tolerating her antics even harder. After long talks, they decided to try and see who else would be willing to take her. However, before they could act on their choice, a mysterious character appeared, offering to relieve them of Iolanthe. It did take them a little while to give her up to him, but ended up letting her go.

Half way through her fourth year, Ione was taken from her home world of Radiant Garden to the Keyblade Guild. She hadn’t yet displayed any talents that would indicate her ability to wield the Keyblade, which wasn’t protocol, but that hadn’t stopped her future master from taking the girl in. He reluctantly lied to his elders, telling them of the potential he saw in her, and claimed he would be the one to train her. They knew of her mother’s antics, however, forcing some concern, but ended up letting him go ahead.

Not wanting to have his true motives discovered, young Master Wyn blessed Iolanthe with the capability of utilising the Keyblade’s awesome power. He cursed himself for it half a year later though, when his student exposed her dark magic for the whole guild to see. She’d lost her temper, through a massive fit, and ended up unleashing a blast in sheer frustration. The elders came close to banishing Ione, but realised the dangerous situation they could be putting the outside world in by releasing her in that state. She knew of the guild, was capable of powerful black magic and could wield a Keyblade. It ended up being decided that Wyn would have to somehow tame the recruit he brought in.

Wyn never really had taken to Iolanthe, despite the love he secretly harboured for her mother. None the less, he worked with the girl, isolating her from the others and attempted to break the darkness within. Little did he know this was the wrong approach, that the dark force was connected to her heart. There was no way to make it disappear...

Years would go by, with little progress made. The Master was growing tired, torn between his guilt and the lack of hope he had for Iolanthe. Half a decade was a long time to go without much improvement, and that, Wyn knew. Soon the Elders would start inquiring, which couldn’t end well. He still didn’t see much in his student, but feelings of fault forced him forward. Lucina, she could have been saved…

They couldn’t see it, Iolanthe herself had never really felt it, but there was an inner light to the girl. This part hadn’t seen corruption, the last remnant of who she should have been. One protective urge, the will to save the only person in living memory who’d ever given her a chance, was enough to provoke the weakened white. She leapt forward, drawing the power of Fading Nightshade for the first time, and took a swing. The large cinderblock exploded into thousands of harmless shades, showering Wyn as they fell. Luckily, Twilight Town was at rest, no witnesses to this bizarre event. The holiday from heck ended on a bright note…

For the first time, Ione sampled ice-cream, mint in flavour. Her Master was impressed and thankful; he’d been dead if it would have struck. Still, Wyn always felt detached from the growing girl, despite the progress she started to make. Signs of a more positive being began to surface, patience, fair play and even hints of kindness. Iolanthe would soon handle proper lessons, downing the information thoroughly.

Of course, she still wasn’t normal, not by a landslide. Fits of frustration and unprovoked rage still manifested, keeping Iolanthe from the classrooms. Too dangerous, Wyn had been told. She was often plagued by negative emotions, anger at first, although this would shift to abandonment and shame later on. Ione was now aware there was something wrong with her…

The fear and rejection she met would only grow worse when the Heartless started popping up. Any chance Ione would ever have at acceptance had vanished into thin air. A minor investigation was conducted, although it failed to draw any connection between her and these evil creatures. Unlike them, the young teenager was capable of “good” emotions, despite the considerable darkness lurking within. Black magic only grew stronger, despite attempts to push it away, and Iolanthe was soon capable of creating a portal of sorts. She knew what it was capable of, but acting on instructions, never used this.

Finally at the age of fourteen, Wyn was given a slight break and Ione was allowed to attend public classes. Her Master decided her excellence with the Keyblade, decent knowledge and progress was enough to deem her Apprentice. The Elders were extremely hesitant, but couldn’t deny the facts, and reluctantly let it slide. However, Ione was forced to take certain recruit classes, having never been able in the past.

Ione, for the first time, started to feel lonely. Others had “friends” what this meant, she had no idea, but they seemed to share a positive bond. Being afraid of the “human Heartless”, her classmates wanted nothing to do with Iolanthe, and the teachers never forced them to. Better times were spent with Wyn, blasting the vile abominations into nothingness.

Still, to this day, the situation hasn’t changed much. Lack of progress at the recruit classes have halted any advancement Ione was making. Not that she’d ever be given much leash anyway, people still look at her with much distain, the Elders remembering her former antics and classmates, simply fearing the darkness she harbours. Still, the teenager doesn't give up, choosing to fight the dark and the expectations...

*Ask Iolanthe to describe anything before Fading Nightshade appeared, and she won’t really be able. Her darker memories seem to be eroding ever since she suffered a blow of light magic during a friendly duel a few months back… *

Name: Ailith Lior

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Alignment: Light

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Ailith (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn73/Mew__Rose/My%20Art/DSCI0820-1.jpg)*My cam is so crappy and it's not in color, but it's still MINE! I will hunt down stealers and feed them to my bull mastiff.
Ailith is beautiful young woman who stands in at about 5' 9" and has a lean body that often decieves people into believing she is fragile when she is not so at all. Her skin is lightly tanned, suggesting that she spends a deal of time outside, and her large indigo eyes often give you the impression she can see into your soul as much as they can project hers(it's pretty easy to tell how Ailith feels about something--just look into her eyes) while often seeming gentle, her pale blonde hair is often haphazardly hanging everywhere, little wings and curls and pieces that simply refuse to stay down and hangs so down to her mid back, giving people the idea that Ailith herself is a bit uncivilized and wild when in all truth it doesn't matter what she does--her hair is just like that. She is always seen looking like she is ready for battle, as she has basically refused to get rid of certain parts of her armor, as she swears angel-made armor is unparalleled in it's ability to withstand...well, anything. Most prominent or the pieces she refused to get rid of is what she passes off as a top, which looks more like the torso section of a suit of armor, consisting of of one single piece that wraps around her chest and multiple scaled/layered pieces under it the allow her to bend more easily and she swears it is the most comfortable thing she has ever worn, though she has taken to wearing a gray camisole under it and 'puff sleeves' seperate from the armor itself. With it she wears a slightly puffy looking skirt that starts out white at the top, fading to a soft pink that fades to a deep indigo color at the bottom and is held to her by a pink ribbon that ties in the back, and she has taken to wearing what appears to be a pair of brown hiking boots with it all, as well as gloves, which are white. Oh--and then there are the delicate-looking white wings that protrude from between her shoulder blades, which are often barely stretch much further than her shoulders, she can expand them to their full size at will, but rarely does because when she has no need to fly, they tend to get in her way.

Personality: Ailith is very much as tomboy. She's incredibly friendly, but at the same time she is all for going out and eradicating the Heartless as best as she possibly can. In fact, she regards them as "the bane of worlds" just as the demons of her homeworld were. Born a warrior, Ailith will remain a warrior to the very last, firmly believing in good, bad, and the line between them that defines you as being on one side or another, as well as firmly believing in the cause she fights for, which was quickly made clear as she entered combat training and easily surpassed basic training without much effort, and continues to focus on combat. Her courage is astounding, Ailith isn't afraid to fight anything as far as anyone knows, even if it could mean death for her--she would gladly give her life so that others might live to fight another time and day when they are stronger. She can come across as harsh and even mean at times, probably because Ailith isn't afraid to tell you the truth, be it you've done something wrong, you're being an idiot, or you're simply in her way. However, when the situation doesn't require it, she loses her seriousness and takes on a more energetic, childish personality that is curious about everything and loves sweet things--particularly a treat called pocky. Ailith will protect both her friends and the cause she fights for with her life, and is as trustworthy as you can get in spite of her drastically different personalities at times.

History: Ailith came from a more recently discovered world(or worlds, there's almost a layered series of them) where angels and demons quite literally battled it out against each other, sometimes with damages to the human world below, although that was advised to be avoided as much as possible. She resided in her kind's main city, known as Sanctuary, a sprawling city on what appears to be a cloud. Ailith was born here into a large family known for producing exceptional warriors, so Ailith has been trained since she was young to uphold the family standard, and she personally trained herself hard because she was stuck living in the shadow of her older brother, who at thirty is already a high-ranking officer among the warriors. Even at a young age, Ailith strove to become the best and pushed herself beyond the already difficult training she was put through as a member of the Lior family. To do this, however, Ailith was not allowed to grow up as any other child would have, leading to the development of her two radically different personalities--she is incredibly serious on the battlefield, but once off of it and out of danger she suddenly becomes more childish.

Ailith rose through the ranks of the warriors, easily surpassing most others in her age group to join one of the more elite demon extermination squads. Ironically, this is what sealed her fate as not one of her number, but as a member of the Guild. Her squad was sent to dispatch a group of demons who were trying to ambush their way into one of the residential areas near the edge of Sanctuary. During the fight, she was grabbed by a demon and both fell off the edge, though they kept fighting, determined to kill each other or die trying. During the fall, Ailith finally managed to kill the demon--just before slamming into the paved street on the world below, right before her soon-to-be mentor, who had been tracking her at the time. It appeared to be a somewhat lucky coincidence, because without her mentor's help, Ailith would probably have died, but she was basically recruited without her permission. Thankfully Ailith was more thankful to her mentor than unhappy, and willingly joined the Guild. She's been fighting darkness ever since.

Keyblade: Fear Not Falling(REDONE!) (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn73/Mew__Rose/My%20Art/DSCI0821.jpg) I hate my camera and my scanner for being to sucky. And may I warn you now that that bow the make up the guard has it's uses? Make Ailith mad enough and she'll shoot it at you, and as a former archer, I don't advise you make her shoot it at you.

Other: Apprenticed to Xaia, Xin's twins sister and the more compassionate of the two. Xaia is known for her hate of darkness as well, but more often known for being one of the most easily startled of the Masters when she's not in battle, as she seems to have her head in the clouds...a lot.

Alllll right, guys, those are looking awesome! ^^

Sorry I didn't have Celeste up right away, but here she is now! ^^ (Beware: Long history ahead xD)

******

Name: Celeste Piper

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Alignment: Light

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Of average build and height, Celeste doesn’t stand out too much in a crowd. Some people would think she looks pretty plain—not strikingly beautiful, but not ugly either. She has long, auburn hair that hangs below her shoulders, which she only pulls half-way out of her face. Sideways bangs hang down over hazel eyes, bright on her slightly freckled face. Unlike her Master (Siros), who favors bright-colored robes, Celeste wears a simple, dull-green cape over a simple outfit. Her special piece of armor lies at the point where the cape meets under her chin—circular with a graceful heart set at its center.

Personality: Though some might find her rather admirable, Celeste doesn’t consider herself to be anyone significant. In fact, she thinks she’s rather ordinary—as far as Keyblade Bearers go. Celeste genuinely tries to best just to be like the average teenager. She works hard to get her assignments done for school, then in her free time she enjoys just chilling out with friends. Like other teens, she can be stubborn and a little defiant at times (even to the Guild leaders).

However, she can’t help but be a little extraordinary in some ways. Celeste is quite the hardy individual, having withstood much greater trials then other teens. Very independent and proud, she thinks for herself, and knows how to use her head. She isn’t easily influenced by others, and keeps her own opinions on various subjects.

Granted with all her powers, Celeste certainly has a sense of responsibility, especially to those around her (doubly, since she’s the Healer’s Apprentice). She can’t stand injustices, and will fight for her beliefs. Celeste will work hard to maintain peace and balance, both in the greater world, and with her friends. But sometimes, she works too hard. Often, she runs herself to the point of exhaustion, and even then she’ll refuse to stop.

Unfortunately, she can at times cause even worse problems, given that she is impatient and short-tempered. She easily becomes defensive, perhaps even mean when she feels wronged. This often leads her to say things she will later regret. With anything, she tries to be realistic, and will only step up to lead if called upon.

History: Celeste and her father both knew what she was destined for, even at the tender age of six.

The girl grew up in a world not unlike our own. People went day to day with complete ignorance of the paranormal powers surrounding their universe. They lived simple, uncomplicated lives, with little fear or change. Worries didn’t involve survival—rather, they coped with finding a balance between family, work, school, and the future. Celeste’s story began with a similar, mundane pattern, but she didn’t mind it. After all, it was peaceful and secure. But little by little, she realized that her family wasn’t so ordinary.

Her mother was a keyblade bearer.

That woman was everything a little girl could look up to, even if she was a little different than other mothers. Rebecca was brave, strong, and very kind. While Celeste felt content in her little world, she wouldn’t find out later that her mother was having a hard time staying in one place for too long. Though she dearly loved her loyal husband and doting daughter, Rebecca’s heart still longed for adventure. Being a keyblade bearer, she had an innate sense of wanderlust that she couldn’t deny for long. She stayed as long as she could, until she couldn’t take a predictable life much longer.

The day came when she finally deserted her family. Though the memory of her departure is somewhat clouded with the passing of time, Celeste still remembers that night. As a little girl, she couldn’t understand (and never would), and for the first time, she faced an uncertainty that made her fearful. Rebecca, full of love for her child, could see that she was scared. And so, she offered a gift and words of encouragement.

“In your hand, take this Key, she spoke those fateful words, offering the hilt of her keyblade to her daughter. “So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, its your wielder one day may be. And you will find me…”

Thus, the keyblade was passed on to Celeste, though she wouldn’t earn it until much later in her history. Rebecca disappeared that night, and years have passed without any sign of her return. Celeste and her father were left to fight a lonely future alone. At first, Celeste felt buoyed by her mother’s gift, but as she grew older, she became bitter. Her shattered family faced staggering trials, and she couldn’t help but question her mother’s honor. Why hadn’t she returned? Where was she? Why would she just abandon them? Gradually, Celeste became convinced that her mother had been a coward. She wanted nothing to do with her—and certainly, nothing to do with the keyblade.

Trying to wipe Rebecca from her memory, Celeste did everything to live like an ordinary teenager. She got involved with all kinds of school activities, and worked hard at part-time jobs. Luckily for her, she found a great model in her father, who, despite losing his wife, remained strong. They worked together to get the bills paid, bellies fed, and a home made.

Unfortunately, she had a sad lesson to learn: the life of a keyblade bearer is never their own. The paranormal always finds them, even in the most ordinary of places.

One day, when she was fourteen years old, a Seeker came to their door. Fresh from the Mark of Master, the Seeker was eager to bring his first recruit into the Guild, but Celeste was going to give him a run for his money. She flat-out refused. No matter how hard he tried to convince her otherwise, the Seeker couldn’t get her to change her mind. Eventually, he gave up, and, disheartened, returned to the Guild. Celeste hoped that that would be the last she would ever hear about keyblades. Destiny had other plans.

Months after the Seeker left, monsters started appearing in the streets. These enemies weren’t easily slain by bullets or modern weapons. For every fiend shot down, several more would take its place. Nothing could stop their advancement, and quickly the peace of a simple world was shattered. Inch by inch, the chaos came to Celeste’s neck of the woods.

Her school was put in a lock-down when they came. Cowering in a dark corner with her trembling friends and classmates, Celeste felt a fear she had not felt since the night her mother left. The shadows around her shuddered, and slowly, the Heartless began appearing. Her classmates screamed, but they had nowhere to run. The Shadows began attacking, and Celeste watched helplessly as hearts were ripped out of innocent people, letting them fade into darkness. She was utterly terrified—until a rising anger overwhelmed her. What was she doing? She had to save her friends! She couldn’t let any more lives be needlessly lost.

She had the key. She just needed to use it.

In a brilliant flash of light, a keyblade appeared in her hand. Hardly realizing what she was doing, Celeste slashed through the Heartless, hacking at every last one until the classroom was devoid of them. But she didn’t stop there. After making sure her friends were alright, she raced from the school, looking for the one last person she wanted to save: her father.

Out in the streets, she saw the complete chaos that was befalling her hometown. Her world was literally falling apart. Darkness was slowly closing in around it, destroying everything familiar to her eyes. Though her thoughts were filled with concern for her father, Celeste quickly became overwhelmed with an army of Heartless. She tried fighting her way through, but the sheer number of them was staggering. Just when she thought she was a goner, just as the darkness was closing in, figures jumped in protectively around her, wielding weapons of light. The Seeker had returned, and he brought friends this time.

The next thing Celeste remembers, she woke up within the Healer’s Wing of the Keyblade Guild. Ill news awaited her: the Seeker and his friends had been unable to save her world. Everything she knew… everyone… was gone. And now, she was truly alone.

But perhaps not as alone as she had thought. Though she was a real mess when she first arrived, people were making a genuine effort to befriend her. Celeste discovered that many of the keyblade bearers were good, honest people, despite what she had earlier assumed with the bitter departure of her mother. Though the loss of her world still pains her, Celeste came to grips with reality. She had nowhere else to go, no one else to turn to, and so she agreed to train with the Guild. She had been given a gift, and whether it was a blessing or a curse, she realized that she had to learn to use it. Deep down, she wants to make sure that no one else has to go through what she did—and more so, she wants to find out if there is a way to bring back her father.

The Guild is her only key.

Other: She is apprenticed to Master Siros, one of the Guild’s most skilled Healers. NPC friends include Locke (strong, sturdy, and ever serious), and Shasta (quirky, bubbly, and ever happy).

But did the fall really happen just a year after the events of BBS? Idk any more :/ What do u guys think?

I'm working on it. ^^''

As for the Radiant Garden thing, I think Leon said it was taken over nine years before the first game. I'm not completely sure, though. :\

Edit: I am putting Kaelie's SU here because I consider the later part of this to be the Discussion part. ^^''

Name: Kaelie Arueken

Gender: Female

Age: 11

Alignment: Dark (For now. If she defects to the Light I have an idea for a replacement who won’t. >:3)

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Kaelie is a boyish looking girl standing at 4’11 with dark skin (naturally, not caused by the Darkness), and keeps her short purple hair in a messy boy cut. Her eyes are a darker hue of red, with a yellow ring from back when the Darkness was corrupting her Heart. Because of her training there are countless scars covering her body, though none significant enough to stand out. She will only wear boy’s clothes, most of the time consisting of a hoodie, t-shirt, jeans, two different colored socks, and boots.

Personality: Kaelie has adopted a really boyish persona in order to protect herself from others. She isn’t comfortable about people knowing she’s a girl, and won’t tell anyone unless they are really close to her. If someone even suggests that she’s a girl she’ll turn into a mess as she tries to convince you otherwise to the point where you’ll know for a fact that she’s a girl.

Despite what you would believe because of her using the Darkness, Kaelie is actually a good person. She likes to play with other (often sports or sparring) and often makes jokes. Things like murder, torture, or senseless violence would out you on her hate list. Alas, she is blissfully unaware that is exactly what Masters Konran and Vanessa are causing, and is also unaware of the effects which the Darkness has on people.

She will only acquaint herself with people with a decent amount of Darkness in their hearts, not wanting to be “blinded by the Light.” When somebody with very little Darkness in their Hearts tries to talk to her, she will be detached and try to end the conversation until they just let her leave. This is made worse by everybody knowing that she’s a girl, although as long as that’s not brought up in a conversation she won’t think about how common the knowledge has become.

History: Kaelie comes from the World Dajonel, specifically the city Bakuren. There women were treated little better than livestock under the rule of the overlord Jerald Itami. They would be beaten for looking at a man wrong, and murdered without a second thought for stepping out of line. In order to feel safer in such a deadly environment she adopted the persona of a boy. Looking back on these times, she feels mixed feelings about the woman from that world; on one hand they were beaten or killed and what was wrong, but on the other they didn’t even try to defend themselves which made it hard for Kaelie to sympathies with them.

When she was away from home one day a woman named Konran came to her house and killed both of her parents. When Kaelie got home, Konran stopped her and offered to give her the chance to never have to fear anything again. It was an offer that Kaelie didn’t even need to think about, accepting it and being taken away from her world without ever learning that her parents were killed, or that she would have met the same fate if she had said no.

She quickly learned that Master Konran was a slight sexist having only taken in girls as apprentices, but she wasn’t nearly as bad as Jerald was. Even if she was, Kaelie wouldn’t care; she doesn’t know how good a lot of woman have it on most Worlds, and had even made it her goal to go to other worlds to help the women get better status in society. Some of the apprentices have told Kaelie that their Worlds weren’t that bad, but she remains skeptical until she gets to see them for herself.

The closest of Master Konran’s apprentices to Kaelie was the vampire girl Zalla Skullcrusher, and they were quite the pair. They are undoubtably the most kind of Master Konran’s apprentices and certainly being the most harassed; Kaelie for her boyish persona, and Zalla for her agelessness leaving her only physically 7 years old.

One day during training Zalla got into an “accident” where a Heartless managed to land several blows on her which would have left Zalla bleeding to death if Kaelie hadn’t found her. Kaelie instantly knew what had to be done; the vampires from the World Zalla was from had the unique ability to regenerate fresh wounds completely if they drank enough blood from a human. Kaelie passed out from the blood that was drank, but Zalla successfully healed most of the injuries except for her destroyed eye which would have involved killing Kaelie to fix.

Kaelie did indeed suffer long term effects from that, but she didn’t quite care about them. To be honest, they were all beneficial for her. Augmented strength, better eyesight at night, immunity to the Darkness corrupting her Heart, and even a new form for her Keyblade that she’s been using ever since were all benefits she gained from saving her friends life. She noticed that after that a few of her Master’s apprentices disappeared; it was said they went to another World where Master Konran was based.

One day a small amount of Darkness slipped out of Everlastia, and Master Konran jumped at the chance to act on it. Her Master was banished from that World, so she held some lingering resentment for the place. She decided to send her most competent weak apprentice to spy on the World, and that honor went Kaelie.

With the help of a Master from Everlastia named Vanessa, Kaelie was easily able to infiltrate the World. She’s gained quite the reputation there; because of her inability to pretend to be worse than she really is she is considered a prodigy by most of the Masters. To her peers she’s the “weird anti-social girl who dresses like a boy,” but to her amazement quite a few of them have accepted that that’s just who she is and don’t keep picking on her like Master Konran’s apprentices. Kaelie wasn’t going to fall for it, though. Master Konran had taught her about how those who use the Light act overwhelmingly nice in order to blind you from the truth, and she wasn’t going to fall for it. There were a few anomalies on the board which confused the girl, but aside from those there wasn’t anything on the World she felt like she could trust.

Keyblade: Pact of the Condemned: Surprisingly, a Keyblade from the Realm of Light. The guard is made up of two bones bent to create a complete circle around the x-shaped hilt which took Kaelie a whole year to learn to use properly. The blade looks like a bunch of blood pouring out of the hilt with two vampiric fangs emerging out of the blood. The Keychain is yet another fang.

Unlike any of the wielders who learned on Everlastia, Kaelie is capable of converting her Keyblade into a Glider. In this form it takes the appearance of a jet pack with three natural-looking boney wings sticking out each side of it. She has also mastered another ability that is scarcely seen in Everlastia; the ability to gauge how much Darkness is in other people’s Hearts.

Between Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts

Hollow Bastion was once a glorious castle towering over the Radiant Garden and owned by a respectful king, Ansem the Wise. Much of the history of the castle is unknown, other than that Ansem ruled from it. However, eventually Ansem's apprentices led by Xehanort overthrew their former mentor, and remodeled the castle to include mechanical components. The result was a twisted bastion; half beautiful castle, half distorted factory.

According to Leon, Maleficent invaded Hollow Bastion's world with her Heartless nine years before the events of Kingdom Hearts. Some residents managed to escape, many of whom ended up in Traverse Town. However, the youngest known resident, Kairi, was sent into the oceans of the worlds by Xehanort and ended up in Destiny Islands. During her reign in the castle as one of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness's minions, it is probable that Maleficent either created or remodeled the castle's keep, which has decorations and models of roses and her thorned plants.

Hmm, the manga did suggest that they were kids when Cid took them away, huh? Hmm...

Okay thanks moonlight. I intended for this rp to occur sometime between BBS and kh I so... I guess that hollow bastion currently reigns ^^

Cool, I think that the fall of the "Capital of light" could be explored or mentioned sometime during the RP?

And that means Traverse Town exsists also ^^

Name: Kokoro Maimi

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Alignment: Light

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Kokoro is what you might call pretty, tall and fit, she's got a definite tan, although fading from the deep brown it used to be. Her face is framed by long, milk chocolate brown hair and among it all are startling bright blue eyes, thickly lashed and as expressive as a child's. she can often be found wearing a plain, thick-strapped black tank top under a halfway zipped pale blue sleeveless hoodie along with a simple pair of shorts and beat up black high top shoes. She wears a braided leather bracelet around her left wrist and chain-link necklace with a tiny wrought-iron looking cagelike heart charm, both are things the treasures. Because armor is required, Kokoro can be found wearing a pair or artfully crafted vambraces over black gloves.

Personality: Kokoro is one of those girls who tries her hardest to get along with everyone. Friendly and kind, she's often described as being a bit of a mother hen, towards people in general, but at the same time she's also rather energetic and at times can come across as a bit odd. She hates staying still for very long, hence the reason she's known for taking up all kinds of odd jobs around the Guild, be it tutoring recruits and apprentices, acting as a sparring partner, cleaning, etc outside of training and learning from as well as going out with Xin on missions. She cares greatly for all her friends, but Kumori tops that list--she would do almost anything for him, which is why she refuses to let him cut himself off from her. Aside from that, she's known him since a young age, which is why she claims to know him better than anyone else in all the worlds and most likely the biggest factor in her ability to talk him down from one of his freak-outs. She also has a very deep love and respect for nature.

History: Kokoro was always an odd child, only for her to come to find out it's because she was basically adopted. She has memories of a glowing, beautiful world full of trees and light and warm as well as laughter and a sense of being surrounded by loved ones--but she cannot remember faces or names, time has obliterated them. Then she rememebers the fear and the sadness and finally the pain--the only time she had ever been outright lied to in that time. And then she remembers waking up in a pretty little bedroom in a pretty little house in a lovely little world called Radiant Garden with her mother sitting in a chair by the bed at age five. Unable to explain her memories to the people who would become her parents, Kokoro claimed to have no memory of where she was from at all aside from her name and age. Having no family come to claim her, Kokoro was taken in by the Maimi family as their daughter and she lived a fairly happy life in Radiant Garden. She was allowed to run free with the children of the town, but at the same time, she was not part of them, she did not like causing trouble or playing pranks and such, opting to hang around the gardens and draw the flowers she saw there. That was how she found Kumori.

When she was eight, Kokoro had been exploring the gardens one day when she came across a boy who appeared to be her age lying unconcious on the ground. He looked beat up and even when she shook him and tried to call out to him, the boy refused to wake. Worried about him, she ended up picking the frail boy up and carrying him home, where her parents took the boy in like they had the girl herself three years ago. Unwilling to let the boy out of her sight for fear that he might wake up alone and the simple fact that she wanted to be there when he woke, Kokoro spent a few days by the boy's beside, barely leaving, and if she did leave, it was only for the briefest of moments and only for things absolutely necessary. When the boy who called himself Kumori finally opened his eyes three days later, she was there, waiting for him, and was surpised when his first words were "I heard you calling." From there on, the two became inseperable. Kokoro came to find that unlike her, Kumori had absolutely no memories of the world he came from other then pain, lots and lots of pain and darkness. She didin't mind in the slightest when it came to the boy's fears and switches in attitude and bouts of pain, she talked him through all of it, never leaving his side until the ordeal was over, she just figured that was what his old home had left him with when he had been forced to leave it, part of who he was, and kept living her life.

The two became part of the Guild fairly recently in their minds, compared to the years they had spent living together as adopted children in the Maimi household. It was shortly after the Heartless had begun to appear in Radiant Garden and it was becoming dangerous to go anywhere alone, Kokoro had gone out to go buy a few things that their mother needed for dinner and Kumori had insisted he be allowed to go with her to "protect" her even though she knew he was wildly afraid of the shadowy little beings who ate hearts. The shopping trip went fairly well, and it was on their way back home that they were attacked. Kumori saw them first, and prompted Kokoro to run, advice they both took, but it quickly became that would not work, as they were chased into an alley. It seemed that they were going to fall victim to the Heartless like others had when three women came to the rescue, two who looked almost exactly alike(whom Kokoro swore she recognized), and a girl with blonde hair and wings. Once they cleared out the Heartless using weapons that looked for all the world like keys, the one who introduced herself as Xin explained that she was looking for two people who could possibly become able to use weapons much like theirs--they would be able to join the Guild and help other worlds with these weapons...the keyblades. The two quickly hopped on board, both wishing to protect others and maybe learn of their pasts while they did. They have since been apprenticed to Xin and been with the Guild from that point on.

Keyblade: Deception (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn73/Mew__Rose/My%20Art/Deception.jpg)*MINE! Steal and die. :) ...I really need to update this pic, lol...

Other: Apprenticed to Xin, one of a pair of Master twins who are known for their rather strong hate of darkness, as it destoyed their homeworld, with Kumori. Of the twins, Xin is the more strict, but she still cares greatly for her apprentices. Kokoro also has a very strong sense of knowing when she's being lied to--it causes her physical pain.

Name: Kumori

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Alignment: Light(Although he's not too far from falling off the deep end if provoked...)

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Kumori isn't exactly what you think of when you think any kind of bad guy...or even a hero for that matter. He's as tall as Kokoro, but otherwise he's her polar opposite, with surprisingly pale skin, snowy white hair that hangs messily down to his chin, and cold, dark gray eyes. He tends to surprise his opponents with his strength due to the fact he looks very much like a gust of wind could knock him over ninety percent of the time. He is often seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt that's too big for him that has a widened neckhole along with beat up jeans and tennis shoes. Because of the armor requirement, he is seen wearing a pair of pauldrons. One might also take note of a thick ring around his left hand's middle finger in the shape of a dragon curled up, asleep around his finger. Try to touch the ring and you might just lose a hand.

Personality: Kumori can be a puzzling individual, often baffling people as to why the Guild thought of him as bearer material. He often comes across as fragile and shy, afraid of anything and everything that goes bump in the night, and he clings to his best friend, Kokoro. However, once you see him serious, it's not hard to see that Kumori wants to help everyone he can in spite of all his fears, some much darker than others. He's a bit unstable, however, in times of stress he can completely change personality, becoming crazed and violent without care of who he hurts in the process until he comes back to his senses. Because of this he has tried to distance himself from others, though Kokoro and Xin(about the only people who can talk him down from one of his episodes) refuse to let him pull away from them, though they are the ones he's most scared of hurting, especially since he's started having nightmares of doing exactly that, and almost hurt Kokoro on more than one occasion, and can be subject to bouts of currently unexplainable pain. He values the dragon ring he wears more than anything else he owns.

History: Kumori remembers nothing of the world he comes from, nothing but darkness and pain, and Kokoro's voice calling out to him at intervals. If it hadn't been for that voice, he feels like he might have been stuck whereever he had been forever. When he woke up, he found himself in a nice little bedroom, in bed, with a girl about his age looking back at him. The moment she spoke, saying "You finally woke up..." As though completely shocked, and he knew at once that her voice was the one he had been hearing from time to time, hence his first words being "I heard you calling." Even at nine, he knew he owed the girl a lot and he also knew that he knew there would be no way he could ever repay her as more pressing matters developed. Set free upon the world with Kokoro, he realized his many fears, under stress his personality seemed to switch and he would have no recollection of it, and then were the bouts of pain he kept enduring, all with Kokoro by his side, talking him through it. He resolved himself to at least try to protect this girl with all his strength, seeing as she was all he really had since he woke up, and even that had been with her help. He attached himself to her side, and seemingly refused to leave, not that Kokoro wanted him to go in the first place.

The two quickly hopped on board, both wishing to protect others and maybe learn of their pasts while they did. They have since been apprenticed to Xin and been with the Guild from that point on.

...And then the dreams started as his keyblade seemed to help ease the pain and help give him the strength to fight off his personality switches.

Keyblade: Lost Memory (http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://images.wikia.com/kingdomhearts/images/a/af/Lost_Memory_KHBBS.png&imgrefurl=http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Lost_Memory&usg=__Xpn8y0RbrpYc744KtoPOImDSCUE=&h=128&w=128&sz=12&hl=en&start=2&zoom=1&tbnid=MDlMjpAYJp7LMM:&tbnh=91&tbnw=91&ei=0kt9TtTGH5S2tge0wJBm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dlost%2Bmemory%2Bkeyblade%26um%3D1%26h l%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1R2ADRA_enUS378%26tbm%3Dis ch&um=1&itbs=1)-Yes, it's linked to it's Keyhole page because there are basically no other pics of it I could find and it ironically fits Kumori pretty well. :)

Other: Apprenticed to Xin with Kokoro because Xin quickly realized how important the girl is to him and worried that under another Master without Kokoro, he might come totally unhinged. It's believed part of the reason he was considered keyblade bearer material is because of his resolve to help people and to help mend his heart from whatever damage it must have sustained before he was found by Kokoro.

*Looks back at her older posts and winces* Okay, I am NEVER using that iTouch to do forum posting AGAIN xD

@Moonlight: LoL, oh yes. I have something planned >:3

And yep! ^^ Good ole Traverse Town! :D

And yay, more charries! ^^ Yeah, Masters can have more than one Apprentice ^^

They may take on their own apprentice (they can have several at a time), or pass the key to someone they find worthy.

YOU! Your RP is stealing my RP's attention! You cruel person!

Reserve me for this though. Just be aware, I have no knowledge of KH games and the canon, so my character is actually going to know just as much about this RP as I do.

In exchange for me trying out your RP, can you perhaps try out mine (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=115939)? Or at least frequent my IA (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=115741)? I've been trying to keep them *not dead*. So far, my plan is barely working for both.

I SORRY I SO EBIL Dx I really don't mean to be stealing attention :o

Oh, so fresh meat, huh? Well, if ya have any questions, please to ask ^^ Also, checking out The Keyhole (http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts_Wiki)might help ya out too. ^^ *reserves*

Hmm, zombies aren't my forte, but I'll give it a look ^^ And I'll check out the IA as well

Also... not to distract from sign-ups or anything, but I'm curious: What do you guys think of the KH3D so far? The Dream Eaters look... very interesting xD

Lol, I totally missed that! XD Sadly I got hit with a better idea--Twin Masters I'd totally forgotten about. XD

It's not canon, so you shouldn't have too many issues...might need to KH Wiki the worlds, though.

About 3D, all I have to say is YEEEEEES! WE GOT NEKU!!! I don't like Riku's hair now, tge Dream Eaters make everything look trippy, and is it just me, or does anyone else think Sora's new clothes look like his...I think it was Valor Form outfit? Oh--and I wanted to see more Kairi. But otherwise, it looks AMAZING!

EDIT(Cuz I just saw it): Yeah, designing the keyblade is fun, but Fear Not Falling(what I keep leaning towards calling it) has been a freaking BEAR. I've finally got most of it done, but the guard keeps giving me problems now... Should be done soon, though.

LoL, my reaction was/is similar.

Fading Nightshade is the first Keyblade I ever designed. T'was fun, but a little stressful, since I wanted to work two completely differant elements into it. Fear Not Falling is a pretty cool nice name ^^

@NES: I'd also check out the pages on light and darkness, that might come in handy ^^

I think I've taken on as much as I can handle, but I'll check the IA out soon!

Whooo hoppin on board with this cause this seriously epicness covered in awesomesauce and all nicely wrapped up in pure win to make Double Rainbow sushi.

I have no idea what I just said XDDD

Name: Anastasia/Isataxansa/Ranna (she doesn't remember her last name)

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Alignment: That's hard to say. Anastasia is Light while Ranna is Dark, and Isataxansa is Neutral. It depends on who is in control of the body.

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv290/KuroYuugiri/ghfhfhfd-3.png?t=1302918379 Her bangs are actually longer than this, but the stupid thing didn't have the right hairstyle. Her yellow eye is supposed to be completely covered in an emo-fringe hairstyle. Her other eye is an odd light grayish-blue. When she transforms into Ranna, both of her eyes turn yellow; but when Isataxansa takes over her left eye completely disappears, leaving an empty socet behind.

Normally she wears a sleeveless black shirt with two belts crossing over her chest (clipped to the belts are potions, hi-potions, ethers and whatever) On her right arm is a cobalt blue pauldron and rerebrace, both decorated with elaborate silver lines. Her pauldron sweeps out into spikes in an almost winglike fashion and give her an air of beauty and deadliness. Her pack holds all of her extra stuff is a simple dark blue gym bag, one of those bags that you can cram three times as much stuff in than you would think by just looking at it. It's always slung securely over her back, this way her movement isn't restricted when she fights. Below she wears a pair of knee-length jeans and a pair of black military boots that go all the way to the bottom of her knees. A thick black belt is looped through her pants, where a few other things are clipped in as well as her weapon.

The yin-yang necklace is pure, deliberate irony.

Personality: Anastasia seems like a very sweet and lovable person. However most say she is paranoid, for lack of a better word. The first odd signs you would notice while being in her presence was her constantly looking around, as if she thinks there is someone behind her when no one is there. Second is that she is constantly muttering to herself, and sometimes she looks as if she's on the verge of a breakdown. It is the talk of all the other Apprentices that Anastasia is totally cracked in the head, and in an ironic way she is. Anastasia herself is kind and sensitive, altohugh she's very easily hurt and offended, but despite this she tries to always do what she thinks is right. She would so anything for a friend or comrade, even if they treat her badly.

And then there's Isataxansa and Ranna. Both of them are two separate entities that share living space inside Anastasia's head. The twist is that all three of them are the same person. But Isataxansa is cold and cynical and cares nothing for others. She is extremely conceited and self-centered and everything she does is always something that would benefit her. Despite this, she is the voice of reason and is by far the most intellectual of the three. The most infuriating thing is while Isataxansa comes off as cruel, her decisions are usually the right ones.

Ranna is a whole different ballgame. She also has little regard for others, but for entrirely different reasons. Isataxansa believes herself to be better than others, and Ranna sees others as little more than a snack. Her way of thinking is primal and fragmented, but her more instinctive reasoning has her seeing the truth of things much quicker than the others. She is the voice of intuition and has saved Anastasia in times past. She is very quick to anger and she reacts swiftly to her anger--which is, in other words, beating people to a senseless pulp.

History: Anastasia's past is a bit twisted, to put it lightly. She used to be a kind, friendly girl going through her life. She wasn't overly special, or at least she didn't really thin so. But for some reason she was, or maybe she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time when a Heartless got hungry and attacked her. Needless to say, she stood no match against the creature and she lost herself in the darkness.

She split then, into a Nobody and Heartless. Her Nobody was much like herself, except she looked older and she was much more cruel. The Nobody also called herself Anastasia and retained a human form for herself, which eventually led Organization XIII to her. It was just in its early stages and not even all of Ansem's apprentices had fallen yet. Xemnas "recruited" her and gave her a new name, Isataxansa, but ultimately she looked after herself. She was never dedicated to the Organization's cause and was more likely to wander off and do her own thing than follow orders. It was because of this that Xemnas never gave her a true number and just referred to her as Number X (the X being literal here, not the symbol for ten) She retained all of her memories of her previous self, but she never felt the sense of loss as her comrades did. Rather, after a year of living as a Nobody, she started to welcome the change and feel more comfortable in it.

On the other side of the split heart, Ranna wandered as Heartless are wont to do. She also retained a human-looking form, although it was a bit more vague. She had a head and torso, along with two yellow eyes and a widely grinning face, but below the waist was nothing but a mass of shifting shadows. Unlike Anastasia, Ranna had much longer hair that always drifted behind her and four tentacle-like appendages growing out of her back. She had no desire to gain back the rest of her heart either and was content to just live out her life hunting others. It's this mindset that led to so much trouble later on.

One day, the Nobody and Heartless inevitably met. It was quite by accident, naturally, but the moment they looked at each other they immediately recognized the other for who they were: the other half of their split heart. Rather than feel elation, as some might have, they were instantly repulsed by each other. They attacked without a second thought. Isataxansa knew that her Heartless had the power to reunite them, since she was the one holding the heart. She thought that is she could kill the Heartless then her heart would disappear--she was not a Keyblade weilder, so her heart would not go to Kingdom Hearts. Even though they were both good fighters, Isataxansa eventually won through her spells and power. However, instead of disappearing, as she hoped, her heart immediately raced back into her and united the Nobody and Heartless.

Anastasia woke up with only the scattered pieces of memories to give her any clue as to how she got there. What happened next was an even bigger shock: a Keyblade materialized next to her, and she grabbed it as if it were the only thing that was keeping her alive. One of the Masters of Everlastia happened to be nearby, and he felt the presence of another Keyblade and raced to find the source. There he found the girl clutching the weapon to her and murmuring to herself, unresponsive to anything he said. He took the delirious girl and brought her back to Everlastia; shortly afterward she came down with a high fever and spent many days tossing and turning and murmuring to herself as if there were other people there. You would think that with her heart back everything would be fine and dandy and filled with cotton-candy unicorn dreams, but that was far from the case. Isataxansa and Ranna had grown so fond of themselves and what they had become that their minds refused to merge together, even if their bodies did. The result was three separate minds crammed into the same body. Anastasia was usually in control, since it was her body after all, but ever since she was reborn she has always had the voices of Isataxansa and Ranna whispering in her head in a neverending stream of background music. Her memories of her times as a Nobody and Heartless are disjointed and often unclear, and she shies away from those memories, thinking them to be too terrible to contemplate, so she only has a general idea of what happened in the past two years of her life.

When she finally awoke she found herself in a strange, unfamiliar world with all of these people staring down at her. They asked for her name and she gave it. Then they aske dhow she came to weild a Keyblade. Anastasia had no idea what it was, but when it was explained she fearfully--and truthfully--admitted that she had absolutely no idea. The Elders were skeptical about taking her in, but they did so for two reasons. One was that the Keyblade had chosen her and they could not turn her away, and two was that they could sense something strange inside her. Somehow, Darkness and Light seemed to have acheived some sort of tenacious balance between each other, and they felt that she would be a perfect Master in the sense that she would understand the dangers of darkness and avoid it.

IT didn't quite turn out that way though. It was really two against one with the Light deal. Anastasia had her Keyblade to help keep Ranna and Isataxansa at bay, but they constantly hounded at her every day, trying to chip away her sanity. In the rare times that all three of them worked together they were unstoppable, which was why she was deemed an Apprentice so quickly. Recent murmurings of darkness has been turning in her mind however, and she finds her control even more precarious than before.

Keyblade: Divided Heart. (http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv290/KuroYuugiri/001-1.png?t=1316922373) I drew this myself, and it took me forever, so any stealers shall make me very, very unhappy. Divided Heart is special because it can sense the presence of Heartless and Nobodies and one half will glow according to which is near. It can also be wielded by Isataxansa or Ranna, but Ranna absolutely refuses to touch it.

As for special powers, Anastasia herself has nothing particularly special about her, except for one thing: she can relinquish control of her body and let Isataxansa or Ranna take over. When that happens she turns into whoever is in control.

Isataxansa had control over the element of Decay when she existed (and this could indirectly let her have control over Poison as well) If she wasn't reeling in her power then her mere presence would cause everything around her to decay: wood rotted, stone crumbled, and metal rusted. If she touched someone and let loose her power then they could shrivel up and become a sack of skin and bones in a matter of minutes, the same went when she uncoveres her eye. She doesn't do this as often as you would think, since it makes the terrain quite difficult to traverse afterwards. Also, whenever she weilds a weapon it immediately becomes poisonous.

Ranna can move in and out of shadows as easily as a fish moves through water. Because she has no legs, she can also move inhumanely fast. Because she is surrounded by shadows, she can also manipulate them to some extent, flaring it out like a cloak or wings. Her main use is her tentacles, which can stretch out to ridiculous lengths and grab onto anything with an unnatural strength.

Name: Daniel Conleth

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Alignment: Undecided

Rank: Recruit

Appearance: Like most humans in his world, Daniel's form is normally humanoid but distinctly block-like in nature. He has medium length brown hair, and light blue eyes. His skin is slightly tanned, due to his numerous years spent in the wilderness. He wears a beige t-shirt and blue jeans, slightly torn from his work. He has a set of iron armor he dons when he is on any kind of mission that involves combat. All of this is covered in a healthy layer of soot and dust, due to his frequent dives into the caverns of his homeland for precious minerals. These minerals are stored in a leather backpack, along with a plethora of other tools.

However, Daniel takes on a more standard and detailed appearance for a human being in the world of Everlastia. His general features have become much more organic, his features becoming more human like in nature. Overall there is no indicator of his original form, and he only reverts back to this original state when he visits his own dimension, and any of the other dimensions that the Overworld connects to. It must be noted, however, that his items and armor do not change state and remain in their blocky shape. This includes the objects inside his inventory pack, which By some form of enchantment however, his armor still fits him.

Personality: Daniel is first and foremost a survivalist. Due to the nature of his previous nature, he believes that all things must be done for a given purpose, and that all things must be used in someway. He hates waste, as he sees mostly everything (except gravel) has a purpose.

A jack of almost all trades, Daniel is among other things a miner, farmer, builder, and fighter. Among other things, he claims to have slain at least 100 Creepers, exploding creatures whom most in his world would not dare go near. While this may be exaggeration, it is true Daniel is skilled with both the blade and the bow. He is also somewhat adept at the arts of enchantment, but magic was never one of his strong points.

History: The world of Minecraftia is a vast, endless plane created from blocks. In this world one can travel through endless deserts, wander through massive forests, scale tall mountains, and fall into the darkness of caves leading below. This world is the world Daniel comes from, a beautiful landscape that stretch outward to the horizon.

But Daniel didn't experience this world until he was 15. Before he came to be an adventurer, Daniel lived in a small village called Chandur. Formally inhabited by a mysterious peoples known as the Testificate, Chandur had been abandoned when they migrated to another land years ago, and later discovered by a group of travelers whose former home had been destroyed by raiders. Deciding to resettle the town, Chandur quickly grew into a renowned village, it's fields known to be some of the most fertile in the land. Daniel Conleth was born to Chandur's blacksmith and his wife, and for a good amount of time he lived peacefully in this town.

Until of course, the incident. Unlike most heroes, born of traumatic incidents that could not have been foretold or prevented, Daniel created his own demise and his own tragic pitfall. At the age of 15, Daniel had been given by his father a solid iron ingot to either sell or use for his birthday. Daniel decided to use the ingot, but in a dangerous manner. Deciding he was going to do something exciting, he decide to make a flint and steel, a taboo item in the town of Chandur.

Heading into the woods outside Chandur, he decided he wanted to light a small fire, just enough to watch it burn and then quickly put out. But when he lit the flame, things quickly went awry and the fire spread, until the forest was engulfed in flames that were impossible to put out. Fortunately however, Daniel got out before there was any present danger. By the time rain came to put out the flames, half of the woods were now a charred wasteland. This disaster was one of the most infamous in Chandur, and the wasteland sections became known as "The Barren Hills".

Eventually Daniel's role in the destruction of this pristine land became known, and it was decided almost unanimously that Daniel should be punished with banishment into the wilderness. His parents tried to defend him, but they were powerless to stop what had become of Daniel. And so, a week after his birthday, Daniel set out from Chandur and into the wilderness.

The first few months were harsh ones. Over the next few days Daniel managed to make a warm and comfortable home, but it required him to spend the first week fighting off the undead hordes and the horrid beasts of the land. These were hard times, and food was sadly sparse for him. But with resolve, Daniel managed to survive, and by the end of the first month Daniel had in place a farm, pens for livestock, and a large home with plenty of storage and rooms. He continued to work nonetheless, but there was enough surplus to last him through hard times.

The next few years had Daniel adapt to his loneliness and overcome it, and soon he found companionship in a wolf he had tamed in the forest. He named the wolf Dawn, as she was discovered during that part of the day. He also managed to accumulate tons of mineral wealth, allowing him to boast a stash of redstone dust, iron ingots, gold, and even a few diamonds. He had also travelled to the Nether in order to obtain among other things Netherrack and various magical ingredients. It was with these items that he later built the Spirit of the Tunnels, the idea coming to mind four weeks from his turning 17. He built the blade and enchanted it, and found it to be of more power than thought possible. It was the first step towards his eventual discovery of Everlastia, which would occur on another of his fateful birthdays.

The day he turned 17, Daniel saw no significance. He made himself a cake, but that was only a minor occasion and took up only a small amount of time. Instead, he decided to go out into the wilderness for a few days in order to find some new caves to mine. Packing some goods, he took Dawn with him on his journey.

Trekking out, Daniel found few significant caves with good mining prospects. However, he found something much stranger. Indeed, Daniel found, for the first time, a Stronghold. He knew the myths about these mysterious dungeons, the numerous myths told about the treasure and dangers hidden inside. Daniel had indeed crafted Eyes of Ender for such an occasion, but had thought he would never use the items.

And so he slowly cleared the dungeon over a few days, and surely enough, he found the portal room. Preparing for the tumultuous moment, the day he would see the end, Daniel prepared his items and opened the portal. But instead of a blackness signifying a portal to the end, the portal glowed a bright yellow, unlike anything Daniel had seen. Curious as to the adventure that awaited this strange portal, Daniel jumped in and was transported to his destiny, the land of Everlastia.

Keyblade: Spirit of The Tunnels (http://s3.postimage.org/bv0l3u2kj/Minecraft_Keyblade_Sprite.png)

Daniel's keyblade, unlike most others held by recruits, was not found, but built. Since Daniel lives in a world where all things are crafted, the keyblade manifested itself at first as a thought, a blueprint for an effective diamond sword.

Unlike other swords from Daniel's realm, the Spirit of The Tunnels does not decay over time, but can be used infinitely. It's the material used, diamond, makes the blade very sharp, to the point where a good slice can break a rock. As a result, Daniel used the weapon as an all around tool at first, using it as a pick in the mines, an axe in the forests, and a shovel and hoe in the fields.

Other: The Nether (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/The_Nether), while a hellish dimension, is not in itself a part of the Darkness or tainted by it. Endermen (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Endermen) are also like Heartless in certain aesthetic aspects, but are largely passive until disturbed and therefore have no relation to the Heartless. The End, the dimension from which all Endermen come, also has no relation to the Heartless or the Darkness. Therefore, Daniel isn't essentially corrupted by his use of elements obtained in these manners or from these places.

Finished!

Your guys' knowledge over armor is incredible o_0 *feels dumb cuz she had to look terms up xD*

But anyways... Winter, your charries are accepted! ^^ (W00t! Our first finished entries other than mine! :DDDDDD)

Chibi... I have no idea what you just said either, but I Rofled! xD Other than needing the Keyblade pic, Ana is good! :D It's nice to see her again--she was such an interesting character in Sabi's RP ^^

@NES2-- Hmm, that link isn't working for me currently, btw. Also... I think that all keyblades are "found", not built. Keychains that change the shape of the Keyblade can be built, but most often the Keyblade reflects the heart of its bearer ^^

Lol I was rambling XDDD And thanks for the compliment, I did adore my psycho.

I have this giant book in my house that talk about different types of warriors over history and it had one page that listed all the types of a knight's armor. My house has random useful stuff lying around it XD

Yes, I will get to work on that Keyblade. I know what aspects I want it to have, but getting them all to fit together is the hard part.

XD I've been stuck on Barthandelus on FF XIII, and you have to break the faces on his shoulders, labeled pauldrons, to get to him, so I Google imaged them. During that search, a whole buncha other terms showed up, and so I ended up Googling vambraces afterward and so that's where my knowledge came from. Don't have so much blind faith, lol. Something tells me Chibi knew, though.

Anyway YAY! *worked my butt off yesterday to get them done*

And it didn't work for me, either.

As a side note: NES2's image won't work for me either so your computers aren't all out of whack.

Lol I did have my suspicions ;P I would have wiki'd them myself but then I remembered that giant book laying somewhere around the house so I found that XD I trust it more than Internet sources.

Iolanthe is nearly accepted--I just need you to clarify something in the history (BTW, Iolanthe is a gorgeous name ^^)

The transition between these two kind of confused me :o

EDIT: WAIT A SECOND, Moonlight sent me a clarification--and now my slow brain gets it xD Very nicely done, the sign-up in general ^^ Accepted! :D

I'm liking the character turn out as well, though Ailith's taking on a life of her own due to boredom. Name: Kian Locke

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Alignment: Light

Rank: Ex-Apprentice

Appearance: Standing at around a meter and a half tall, Kian has dark grey hair which spikes backwards, giving the appearance that the wind has had enough strength to force his hair back. His eyes are a pale blue, resembling that of an ocean on a foggy morning. He wears a grey jacket over a purple shirt, the hood of the coat-like overwear usually up over his head when he wishes not to be noticed. He wears trousers cut off three-quarters in, black lined with purple tribal-like markings, as are his boots.

Personality: Kian is a quiet boy, tending to keep to his-self and his magical studies. Only when longing for social interaction will he be bold enough to try and speak to others, yet he fails to as his confidence does not give him that extra boost. When he is being sociable, however, he tends to be nervous around girls, due to the fact that he is worried about offending the opposite sex.

Kians weakness is the lack of friendship - giving him no drive to fight on some occasions, meaning that he is in danger of falling in battle. Friendship would push Kian into protecting those he loves, yet, at this time, he would still protect those he doesn't know - without the strength friendship would give him.

History: In a world where Magic dominated all, Kian was born into a a mighty family filled with mages. Over the time he grew up within that world, Kian was soon able to surpass all, his abilities more powerful than the King of their realm. This enraged the King, knowing that his time on the throne was soon coming to an end, and he was about to call for the death of the young boy, who was only 12 at the time. However, before the order could have been given, Heartless had rained down from the sky, slaughtering all they came into contact with, the King included.

After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents, Kian ran towards the Aura Plains, large fields in which magic seeped out into the atmosphere. That was when he was surrounded by a horde of Heartless, the beasts ready to pounce and steal a young heart. Before they could attack, a Keyblade Warrior had appeared from no where and had cut them down, Kian saved from death.

Explaining that the young boy was amazingly gifted in magic, the Keyblade Warrior, named Kaan, persuaded Kian to accompany him back to the Keyblade Guild, the boy too shocked and fearful to turn him down. Upon finding his way within the Guild itself, Kian was swiftly accepted into their ranks, the Elders pairing him with Kaan who, too, was a gifted Mage who had much to teach the young child.

Over the years spent under Master Kaan's teachings, Kian had learnt that his teacher was a wielder of the dark magic, a forbidden taboo within the Guild. Many times had Kaan attempted to teach Kian the dark ways, and many times Kian had refused, only accepting to learn small parts of dark magic out of curiosity. Finally, Kaan had been found out by the Elders, and he was banished from the Guild and branded an "outcast". From then on, Kian was never given a new master, the Elders worried that he may be influenced by another dark wielder, as well as possibly influencing others - this hurt Kian deeply.

Oh well, if I didn't mention it before, I'll mention it now--Ailith almost always has a stick of Pocky in her mouth(don't ask where she gets it or how she never runs out of it--it's like those guys in animes with the cigarettes that never seem to run out, or the lollipops that never seem to run out). ...Weird, been dead silent since about halfway through reading your first post... I'll have to check the weather after dinner and see if I can post. ...And Char, lightning doesn't make a sound. XD

She probably wouldn't even bother sneaking it. Look dead at the teacher and stick a piece in her mouth, then go back to taking notes.
"Yeah...no. I don't share...unless Master Xaia wants some on occasion, and that's just because she's my master."

It just occurred to me--how do lessons work for apprentices? *imagining a massive sparring match between Kokoro, Kumori, and Ailith* I see the twins(Xin and Xaia) as being rarely apart, and tending to train their apprentices together...

... er.... sure it does--it's called thunder *shot*

xDDDDDDD Now that's a funny picture xD

Oh, and the lessons for the Apprentices... it all depends on what the Master wants to do, how they can best teach their students. Some will stick their pupils in with other classes--if they think they need a bit more schooling--or they might pair up with other Masters and teach them together. Or, they could have sparring matches, magic lessons, or other types of one-on-one teaching (Masters will need to reserve classrooms, but it works as a studio if they want to train in the Great Hall. Otherwise, the Training fields are open to them). So, if you'd like to start out with a massive sparring match, go for it! :D

I noticed a disturbing lack of Masters in this RP. I shall remedy this.

Name: Doctor Caesura (pronounced 'KAI-sura')

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Alignment: Light

Rank: Master

Appearance: He is the blond dude in this comic. (http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs47/f/2009/149/1/e/1eec40796746885f3bb7c01833af4672.png) No, the pic is not mine, but ever since I read this comic I cannot get the blond-Doctor mental image out of my head.

Personality: Doctor Caesura is a quiet individual, although not from shyness or low self esteem. He simply does not like to raise his voice or make overly dramatic overtures. The Elders say that they have rarely seen a man who is kinder than Caesura; the Doctor is gentle to everyone and everything, save for people he believes are his enemies. He has been known to bring in and shelter nearly anythng, whether it be kittens or a near-insane girl he found lying in the streets of Tranverse Town. Many of the scorned people find a friend in him. Caesura does not discriminate and he actually seems to welcome uniqueness. One of the defining things about him is that he does not try to force training tactics on his Apprentices, nor does he try to mold them after his own style like many othe rMasters. Instead he teaches them tricks and techniques, but for the most part lets his students find their own way of fighting.

True to his title, Doctor Caesura is, in fact, a doctor. He's one of the few in Everlastia and is also one of the best. He also has a bit of veterinary knowledge as well, so he has many people pestering him to take care of their sick animals/pets. He loves to travel and has jumped into many of the Library's books, however he does not have many Apprentices. The one he dotes upon is the raving girl he found in Traverse Town: Anastasia. He is one of the few who never says a harsh word to her and always encourages her to try her hardest at everything. Ana sees him as a second father, since her fuzzy memories makes her forget her own family sometimes.

History: Caesura originally came from a world where magic was abundant as water and air. This is called the World of Mana by many since there are few recordings of the actual name of the world. It's inhabitants never knew of Heartless or any such weapons as the Keyblade, but they were very aware of the forces of Light and Dark and magic. Caesura was studying to be a doctor when a mysterious woman showed up one day. She said that he had a special heart, one that could summon a powerful weapon known as the Keyblade. He had no idea what she was talking about, and in the middle of their conversation a black creature appeared and tried to attack them. The woman easily fended it off with a key-shaped weapon and tried to explain the concept of Heartless and Keyblades to the teenager.

He was shocked and terrified. His beloved world was in danger of the Heartless, which had begun to invade, and he begged the woman to take him ni when he realized that they could destroy his home. He did not need to worry, because he was accepted immediately. Knowing that his world was in danger, he trained as fiercely as he could in order to get to the top of his class and be promoted to a Master rank. It took him years, but this is the main reason why he is so young and a Master. He joined in the fight to save his world and helped lock its heart away from the darkness, and with it out of danger he returned to Everlastia, here he continued his training as a Doctor.

Caesura loved to travel and learn, so he spent a lot of his time hopping from book to book, learning new skills of trade and techniques fromthe people who lived in them. Once he was on a visit to Traverse Town and he felt an extraordinary rush of power, one that he had never felt in his life. Then moments later he sensed the presence of another Keyblade. Running down the streets, he found a girl laying on the ground, babbling to herself and clutching a Keyblade to her chest as if her life depended on it. He tried to talk to her, and then heal her, but when neither worked he picked her up in his arms and returned to Everlastia with her. The other healers gave her a bed and watched over her and he never left her side. When the Elders came to investigate he answered their questions but refused to leave the room when they interrogated her. He offered to train the girl when she got her wits back and treated her with the utmost kindness ever since. But not even Caesura knows Anastasia's secret, which she guards fiercely.

Keyblade: Winner's Proof. (http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Winner%27s_Proof) It is not his original Keyblade, but one that he won from Mushrooms. He likes it because it increases his magic ability though.

The good Doctor is a heavy magic user, and you won't see him in a battle where he doesn't cast at least one spell. This is because where he comes from magic is a very powerful and useful weapon and it was just how he was raised. However he is also good at regular combat so don't try to exploit his excessive use of magic to your advantage.

Other: If the Doctor had a theme song, it would be A River Flows in You. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-4wUfZD6oc&feature=related)

Alright... for now... *makes Hope's Destruction disappear in a cloud of darkness* (LoL)

But anyway, great first posts, guys! ^^ I like how in your post, Moonlight, you compared people to words. It's so true, and I think it was a fitting beginning for Ione. It was so interesting as well, with the book... Mind if I do something with it? >:3

And Winter, I laughed a bit at the beginning when the Xaia was wondering if letting the students spar was a good idea. I imagined this intense fight going on in the background while Xin's all like, s'all cool xD

@Chibi: YESH!!! A new Master! Looks great, tis accepted! ^^ Pretty neat to have another Healer/Doctor on board--he'll probably be familiar with Celeste's Master, Siros, as he's a trained physician as well. And actually, that gives me a great idea with how to do Celeste's beginning post! :D IT'S A WIN-WIN!!!

Lol, yeah, that's why I like them. Xin's more of the tomboyish, easygoing until angry type and Xaia's the girly, worried mother kind. They're facially identical, but their personalities are NOT alike, nor are their clothes. XD

And something tells me my group is going to be quite familiar with Doc as well(think Neon/Lag(though definately more Neon than Lag) and Thunderland familiar), lol.

Enkaku_Kumori
10-01-2011, 03:11 AM
XDD I can totally imagine people bringing the Doc stray kittens and such and being all "can you fix them?" with puppy looks on their faces. It seems as if Caesura is already quite popular and he hasn't even showed up yet XDD

Winter
10-01-2011, 03:17 AM
XD Probably. But seriously, I mean what with Ailith's stunning entrance into the Guild and fear of sudden falls as well as Kumori's dark side being a sadistic manic and hurting not only himself but others(usually Kokoro) in the process, they can't not be familiar with the healers. Xaia knows a few patch up spells, but she can't fix massive damage.

'Sides, if you haven't noticed, I have a thing for doctor characters. I swear my chars always end up buddy-buddy with the doctor if there is one(Neon, Hyde, Midnight...), or they are one(Artemis). ...Or better yet, their parents are doctors(Aerys/Niki, and Dante and Cerise from Kikuchi.

*****

Name: Chase Owens

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Alignment: Dark

Rank: Ex-Apprentice

Appearance: Chase stands at exactly six feet, though there’s nothing extraordinary about his build at that height. But don’t let his lanky form fool you—he can be overwhelmingly strong and swift when called into battle. His skin is rather pale, as if he had for most of his life hid from the light of day. Emotions rarely express themselves on his gaunt face, but his keen, unnerving yellow eyes seem to acutely take in every detail around him. People unfortunate enough to attract his gaze swear that they feel like they’re being watched by a cunning predator—watching and waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce. As such, it’s very rare to see anyone with Mr. Owens…

When it comes to apparel, Chase’s favorite color is black. Most likely, you’ll spot him his a dark leather jacket decorated with all manner of silver studs, spikes, and chains, around a seemingly countless amounts of pockets. The jacket is usually undone, exposing the gray, skull-printed t-shirt he wears underneath. He also wears a long, baggy pair of black jeans that similarly have chains wrapped around his legs. Despite all this metal covering him—Chase rarely makes a sound. People very rarely hear him coming before they sense his unnerving presence…

It would be interesting to note that Chase is a gifted Shapeshifter. He inherited this ability from his home world, and takes great advantage of it while at the Guild. His forms (all black in color) include a rat, a raven, a dog, and a fire-drake (lion-sized reptile from his world resembling a wingless dragon). There may be more forms, but the only people who know about Chase’s abilities are those who are on his side. Not even the Masters and Elders of the Guild know what he is capable of.

Personality: Chase is quite the mystery, an enigma within the Guild. He very rarely speaks, unless spoken to, but always seems to be observing. His extreme patience is to be admired, but at the same time this very aspect of his character is what unnerves people the most. Why? Because they have no idea what he’s waiting for, nor what he will do next. This silent, stalking personality makes him quite unpredictable, especially since he very rarely expresses emotions of any kind. Even his fellow students secretly pursing the Dark Arts are never sure if Chase is really on their side. Nevertheless, he is obedient to the orders of the Masters who contact him outside of the Guild, and carries them out with great efficiency. Yet sometimes one wonders if something much more menacing is going on in his little head.

Needless to say, others don’t especially like spending time in his presence…

The young man seems to have a morbid curiosity about people, especially those who struggle to fight their own darkness. His gifts in magic allow him to secretly spy on his persons of interest without detection, and since he currently does not have a Master within the Guild, he has had plenty of opportunity to do so.

History: Not much is known about Chase’s background, since he very rarely shares anything of his past to anyone (not that he has had much opportunity to do so). But his world was one that was full of much fear and darkness to begin with. There, arcane and black magic ran amok. Witches and terrible warlocks terrorized the lives of superstitious peasant folk; feral beasts roamed forbidden places, devouring those who strayed from straight paths or placing curses on those who were lucky enough to survive. This was a world brimming with werewolves, vampires (not the sparkly kind :P), goblins, and spiteful fae—a world we only dream about on Halloween night.

When he was just an infant, Chase was taken from his family and replaced with a changeling. While a stranger grew up in his rightful home, Chase was raised by a prickly old hag who was more interested in experimenting on him with magic than caring for his needs. The boy learned how to take care of himself eventually, but the experimentation and abuse from the witch continued. It was her tinkering that gave him the ability to Shape-shift, but the gift had its repercussions. As time went on, Chase started to act less like a human and more like… something else. Some of the witch’s attitudes about other creatures were instilled within him as well; thus, he gained that morbid curiosity of his.

With darkness wreaking havoc in that world of his, it was inevitable that it would fall one day. Yet for some reason, Chase didn’t disappear with it. Instead, he was incarcerated into a stone that was sent out into the wider universe. Eventually, the stone was picked up by a Wielder of the Keyblade. Through his arts, he was able to call Chase from out of the stone.

This Keyblade Master became greatly intrigued by Chase when he discovered the boy’s Shape-shifting skills. Finding him as a suitable pupil, the Master passed on the keyblade to him and took him back to the Guild for training. The boy took to it well—especially when his Master began dabbling with the powers of Darkness. Chase seemed especially eager to learn more about these powers, but unfortunately his Master was discovered one ill day. He was thrown out of the Guild, while Chase remained… but now, as a nineteen year old, he works with some of the other Apprentices who are continuing their search for control over the Darkness.

Keyblade: Chase wields two keyblades: Fatal Cres (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110108205213/kingdomhearts/images/thumb/e/e9/Fatal_Crest_KHII.png/357px-Fatal_Crest_KHII.png)t, and Silent Wing (similar in color and design to Fatal Crest, but with a skeletal dragon's wing instead of a head)

Other: Like Riku and Zexion, Chase has the ability to “smell” darkness. (And no, he’s not a Nobody)
But he is… A CREEEEP—PAAAAAAAH! [/end inside joke]

Lol, that's not a word wall-- when you're forced to make a two-post reply(though they were intros and for six chars), THAT'S a text wall.

Poor Rush. XD He's in for a big surprise, considering Kumori's a bit of a scaredy cat, Ailith's afraid of sudden falls, and Kokoro's as patient as can be with either... Though IMO, Ailith is the more pretty one, Koko's more of a tomboy, but it also depends on what you find pretty. XD

Doodle, this is soooooooo far out of the way of canon that I seriously doubt it. We don't even have canon chars in here, you might get a little history knowledge like info on Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion backstory, but most of that gets explained through Ansem reports in KH2(I dunno about KH1, still haven't beaten it--haven't even gotten past Agrabah), it's not really what appears to be a big priority, though, so I dunno.

Dooooooodles! :D Yeah, like Winter says, this is a bit out of canon, plus it happens after the events of Birth by Sleep but before KHI, so I think you'll be okay. Mostly, it's about the keyblade bearers themselves--we might get to radiant garden, in which case you might want to look up it's history, but pretty much all you need to know is about the keyblade and the properties of light and darkness, which the first game covers pretty well ^^

It still slows, but yeah, it's MUCH better. I just had a busy weekend (Saturday shifts are long and tiring) and today was... ugh. Should have something Monday though!

Hmm, okay, then. I'll have to think about what to do... *slaps on thinking cap/monocle/fake beard*

Welcome to the group! :D

I've been a ninja in the shadows

I've been delaying my post for a bit because I felt that I should let others post before I make another xP I'll get one up tomorrow if that's any consolation :)

Yes.
Name: Norland Black

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Alignment: Light

Rank: Seeker

Appearance: Black skin, white hair, reddish eyes. He tends to wear modern-ish clothing, which is how his world's people dressed. He wears a black jacket, red shirt, and grey pants. His jacket has a hood.

Personality: He's kind(despite his combat tendencies) and likes to help. However, he despises betrayal and has sworn to kill anyone who has betrayed the order. He can be somewhat arrogant at times. His fighting style varies. Against friends(as practice) it's more playful. Against enemies... he's flat out BRUTAL. His favorite move against a Heartless is to get the saw on his Keyblade spinning really, REALLY fast then shove it down on its head. Thankfully, he's never done it to a living being.

History: Norland came from a distant world, not close to any other. He was raised by his father and taught in swordsmanship for most of his life. Eventually, he got so good that he once defeated all of his friends in a fight with only wooden swords. However, that would not prepare him at all for what was to come. At ten years of age, he had an odd dream where a mysterious black hooded figure gave him a scythe-like blade. When he awoke, he found he was holding a keychain that had a scythe at the end. He decided to go out for awhile to figure out what it was.

About a mile into a nearby forest, he was attacked by a group of Shadows. They swarmed him, almost killing him. At the last second, there was a bright flash. When it went away, one of the shadows was impaled on the same weapon he had seen in his dream. Using his skill with a blade, he wiped out the rest. He returned home to find it was gone. Suddenly, the ground shook violently. The sky went dark, and he could hear unearthly screams. Then, everything went black.

Fortunately, the Keyblade Wielders had already sent someone to get him off his dieing world. He was nursed back to health and informed of the Keyblade Wielders, their purpose, and what had happened to his home. He was handed over to the teaches and quickly rose from the rank of recruit, to Apprentice, to Seeker. He has devoted his life to defending the worlds so that noone else would have to suffer the loss he had felt.

Keyblade:Reaper's Edge
Abilities: Decent reach, excellent power, and a bronze saw that allows some pretty, um, creative ways to kill enemies. Can also transform Shadows(the weakest type of Heartless) into dark energy that can then fuel dark magic spells. He also owns an emergency Keychain that he only uses when he loses Reaper's Edge, which thankfully has never happened.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack! :D And I'm super pleased to see some posts! :D Though I'm quite jealous of seal's ninja powers xDDDDD (Oh, but I understand--I also don't think that I gave you much to go off of with Theron, but I'll fix it eventually.) Also, Doodles? ... can I borrow that fake beard and monocle when you're done? :D

LoL, sorry, being super weird right now xD

BUT TO THE NEW SIGN-UP!

Description's a bit sparse, but I'm excited to see a Seeker! :D Though, I have to ask, as a Seeker, is he still an Apprentice? Or did he reach Master rank? (seeing how a Seeker isn't really a formal rank?) I stamp this sign-up with a seal of approval! *stamp*

BTW, Chibi, uh... can you maybe explain "Mana Magic"? *feels uneducated*

Like I said--that's if she's referencing what I think she is. And I'm clueless on the mechanics myself, so yeah... I want to say it's an old Squaresoft game, though, so it's possible they might be less hard to understand than one might expect. I really can't remember--this was years ago.

Yaaaaay! Pie! *produces hot apple pie from nowhere*

You really didn't give us much to go off on ^^' Plus, I think I said in the rules that posts need to be a healthy two-paragraphs long. One word does not count as a paragraph, in my book ^^'

No joke; I wouldn't be hated by over half of Central Yuusari on the grounds of stealing food to feed kids on the street if I could do that. Ah, well. I have a job now and am trying to change my public image. Stupid, stubborn well-off people.

Ailith: I'm still confused as to how I even came to obtain pocky in this universe. It made sense elsewhere, but...oh to heck with technicalities...

Well, by "Mana" magic I'm referencing to the type of magic used in the Mana games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_of_Mana#Printed_adaptations) XD The type of magic we're all used to seeing in the KH universe (Fire, Thunder, Cure, Stop, all that good stuff) is all Final Fantasy magic. Mana magic works differently though so I was wondering if it was allowed.

(If you really want me to explain how it works and the mechanics of spellcasting and all, I will, but I didn't think they were that important.)

*bounces in* Here, Char. You can have the monocle and such. I'm done with them.

Name: Freya

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Alignment: Light

Rank: Master

Appearance: (Will probably pull up some picture later, but for now I will use a description.)

Freya is tall and athletic looking. Though not fat, she's definitely not a flimsy little thing- she's actually quite muscular for a woman and is rather broad shouldered. She has reddish-auburn colored hair. Her skin is tanned and she has a few freckles and some scars, though most are fairly minute. Freya has long-fingered hands with sharp fingernails, and her teeth are sharp and more suited for for a carnivore. Her eyes are brown and the pupils seem more catlike than most, and become even more so when she is angry. Her most noticeable characteristic, though, is probably her long tail. It is reptilian, with brown scales. Mostly it's a medium brown, with darker brown stripes on top and a lighter brown on the bottom.

Freya tends to dress plainly- she wears tan pants, and a white tunic with a brown belt at the waist. She also wears functional brown boot, light armor on her torso (which is white and embellished with gold color) with chainmail underneath her tunic and brown fingerless gloves that go up to her elbow.
Personality: The first thing you should know about Freya is that she is determined. The second thing you should know is that that is probably the understatement of the century. She's well known for fighting with injuries that could bring down monsters several times her size- and winning. She's loyal, noble, stubborn as a mule and with a sense of self preservation measuring in at about zero. She's short tempered and is easily irritated- most find her unapproachable and hard to work with, thus she tends to work by herself. Freya doesn't mind this- she's a loner by nature, though not because she's shy. She has a bad tendency to think herself better than most everyone- mostly in fighting capabilities. Also, while Freya isn't stupid, she's not smart either. She sometimes lets her emotions get the better of her, and does or says things she'll regret later (or someone will, anyway.) She's also very blunt, and she doesn't dance around truths or sugarcoat bad things. Despite her rough nature, she's a good person at heart, and if you befriend her, she will never betray you.

History: In Freya's world, there are many different species, most with some level of magic. There was one particular species known as Dragonkin, which while were not dragons, had many skills similar to dragons. They could all perform dragon magic, and some could breathe fire, have enhanced strength and speed, and- while this was rare- some even possessed wings and could fly. Freya is one of these creatures- a dragonkin.

Freya was a knight back at her home- or, at least, she was training to become one. Her family had all been knights (even women, yes), and she was determined to follow in their footsteps. Usually, this involved attempting feats above her level of skill and nearly getting herself killed. Repeatedly. Often in the same hour, if she didn't get caught. This generally resulted in repeated groundings, punishments and the like, though Freya usually snuck out and began training again. It was a decent, if somewhat unusual life.

However, when Freya turned fourteen, her father did something unforgivable. He betrayed their king.

The kingdom had been in a great war for many years, and they had been beginning to lose. Freya's father saw this, and decided it was time to switch sides. He let a group of soldiers in secretly, and they conquered the castle, thus ending the war. Freya's life began to crumble around her, and she suddenly realized she would never be able to serve her country, because it was gone. She escaped the castle, without a clue in the world to where she was heading. She only knew she had to go.

And then she got sick. Really sick. She ended up in a ditch beside the road. She passed out, and when she awoke, she was in Everlastia's infirmary. The Seeker who had found her explained that she had Awakened. Awakened to what? He explained to her the Keyblade and that she had it's power. He offered her training. Freya still wanted to be a warrior and knew she wouldn't have that opportunity back home, so she agreed.

Now Freya is a Master and presently a Seeker. She's loyal to the Keyblade Order above all else. She is ashamed she was not able to protect her kingdom, and views it as her greatest failure. Nothing will convince her otherwise. She is a powerful warrior, and you would be well advised to stay out of her way.
Keyblade: http://doodleniks.deviantart.com/art/Wings-of-Flame-265559874

Wings of Flame is a powerful keyblade, though it's heavy and difficult to maneuver if you're not used to it. It enhances the power of fire magic, and when you swing it, fire arcs behind it.

Other: Freya has enhanced speed and strength. She can breath fire, but doesn't do it very often- it scalds her mouth, like if you ate something too hot. She's resistant to hot temperatures but doesn't handle cold very well. She is capable of using a sword and has rudimentary knowledge of a few other weapons.

There! Recruit on the way. Also an evil guy(muahaha), because we seem to have a shortage of them.

Weirdly enough, I was kind of productive today and got this done. o______o' Okay onwards~

Name: Cail Atean

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Alignment: Undecided, leaning on Light

Rank: Recruit

Appearance: (Again, I will have a purty picture later.)
Cail is on the scrawny side, and is small and thin. His impression of being small is not helped by the fact that he seems to be perpetually slouching. His face is pointed and narrow, with a small nose. His eyes are grey blue and narrow. His face is marked with three long white scars. He is pale skinned, and there aren't any noticeable freckles or blemishes besides the scars on his face. His hair is sort of a dirty blond and it hangs in his eyes. …He also has really nice teeth for some reason.
Cail tends to dress in long-sleeved shirts and pants, mostly due to the fact that he gets old easily. Typically, he wears beige pants, tall boots with silver buckles around the ankle, a white jacket that covers his hands, and a dark blue shirt.
Personality: Cail is kind of a morose fellow. He assumes the worst and, unfortunately, that's usually what he gets. He's sarcastic and tends to be rather antisocial, which most don't mind- he's kind of a downer. He's more than a little proud, and his feathers are easily ruffled. However, even though he like to grumble about everyone only having their best interests at their mind, he's actually very generous and kind at heart. One moment he'll be griping about something and the next he'll be helping someone who dropped their things- usually still complaining. Despite his prickly exterior, he's a good person and, if you can befriend him, a true friend.
History: Cail is from the same world Freya is from. However, his station was quite different- he was royalty. While not immediately in line to the throne, he was probably about third in line to the throne, after his older brothers.

However, Cail never got the chance to rule- when he was very young, the castle was attacked by another nation. His entire family was murdered, but the soldiers paled at the thought of killing Cail- at the time, he was barely two. While they debated what to do with him, one cruel soldier took action by himself- he severely injured Cail on the face, and while not aware of it, blinded him. The soldier was severely punished, but the general of the army were secretly relieved- after all, what nation would follow a disfigured, blind prince?

Still not wanting to kill the child, the general decided to send Cail to a monastery that was isolated from the outside world, and he was raised there. However, on his twelfth birthday, Cail awoke to find a large, key-shaped weapon beside him.

This, as you can imagine, was somewhat alarming. The monks and Cail were very confused, and didn't have a clue where the thing came from. Then a man they had never seen before arrived at the monastery. He explained that he was a Keyblade wielder, and so was Cail, then offered to take Cail and train him. The monks refused. The new rulers of the nation would be furious to learn that the prince was receiving warrior training, if such a thing came to pass. Regretfully, the Seeker began to leave. However, Cail secretly followed the Seeker. He lied and told him that the monks had changed their mind. The Seeker believed him and took Cail to Everlastia.

Cail has been at Everlastia for two years, and he's still not an apprentice. This doesn't surprise him- he's aware that a lot of the masters doubt that a blind boy can be a competent Keyblade wielder. But he's determined to prove them wrong.

Keyblade: Overcome (http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A0PDoX2LSKxO8nQAv86JzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBlMT Q4cGxyBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1n?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimage s.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dstormfa ll%2Bkeyblade%26fr2%3Dpiv-web%26b%3D1%26tab%3Dorganic%26ri%3D0&w=493&h=405&imgurl=media.giantbomb.com%2Fuploads%2F0%2F1111%2F 380353-aqua_s_keyblade_super.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.giantbomb.com%2Fkeyblade%2F9 3-81%2F%3Fpage%3D2&size=14.1+KB&name=Aqua%26%2339%3Bs+Stormfall&p=stormfall+keyblade&oid=fe392d7f457ada942c3145c16bd8fb5b&fr2=piv-web&fr=&tt=Aqua%26%2339%3Bs+Stormfall&b=0&ni=30&no=0&tab=organic&ts=&sigr=11f24jvns&sigb=13252uaa5&sigi=1235l8cit&.crumb=dNTCsdbiris)

(And yes, it's an actual Keyblade from the game and it's name was different. I couldn't come up with a good design so pretend you've never seen it before.)

A long, slim, lightweight keyblade that enhances magical power. Nothing really special, Keyblade wise.

Other: Themesong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2bMghgesr4) (Oedipus by Regina Spektor. The song's lyrics don't actually have much to do with Cail- but it kind of reminds me of him.)

Cail hates people to give him special treatment because of his blindness- he likes to pretend he's not any different than anyone else. If asked why he is blind, he tells people he has been blind since birth, though his scars say otherwise. Also, even though he's not fully aware of it, he can 'see' people's hearts. He can sort of turn it on and off, though he doesn't really control it and doesn't even understand what exactly he's seeing. It freaks him out, and Cail has never told anyone about this. He has very sharp senses besides his sight. He's also the spitting image of his older brother when he was his age- and Freya has seen Cail's older brother...

@Doodles: The acceptance is with you! And nice character :D Reminds me slightly of Toph... WHICH IS AWESOME! ^o^

And you know, I actually wonder if people with the same Keyblade would actually call it the same... Does the wielder come up with the name their selves? :o

@Max: Uh.... wut? You don't want to join until December? Odd request... Why not join now? xD I don't think I can really guarantee that this RP will be around in December, since RPs don't tend to last too long (but it'd be awesome if it did :D)

Happy Halloween! Lessee...No costume, no place to trick-or-treat around where I live, my little sister is sick...I'mma sit home and watch the Ghost Hunters Live special with my dad! XD My Marine Bio teacher gave us candy, though, and my parents just buy us a bag of our favorite candy and tell us to have fun and don't eat it all at once.

As for the names, I always thought the wielders might have gotten impressions of their keyblade's name. (Sorry, not thinking Sora was witty enough to be behind some of his keyblades' names) Besides, the repeat keys in BBS had the same name all three go-rounds... I dunno, this is like the "How are keyblade models designed?" dicussion I had with Chibi awhile back--that got really confusing.

Enkaku_Kumori
11-01-2011, 12:23 AM
Ffff my mother just bought me a bag of chocolate for me to nom on. I love her so much. Buuut tomorrow I miss school cause of sickness-related issues, so HELL. YES.

Hmmm, I think Keyblades are named after their properties. Like, if you look at ANY Keyblade's name it shows some relation to it's special ability or design or where you got it from or the circumstances from which you got it etc. For example, my custom Keyblade, Divided Heart, actually tells more more about Anastasia, who had her heart split in two, and even in the present day it is still divided.

Wait, was this the conversation we had about how Keyblades are formed?

Winter
11-01-2011, 12:46 AM
Whut? Really? CHIBI, DUN LEAVE ME WIT AKA BY MYSELF!!!

Anyway, Ailith's tells about her as well--particularly about how she got it and the fear she has had of falliing ever since.

The argument that someone designed them vs the idea that they're form by certain aspects of the keyblade's surroundings.

Enkaku_Kumori
11-01-2011, 01:45 AM

It was pretty cold and windy here, so... I didn't see much trick or treating action xD Which means I get to make like Chibi and om nom leftover candies xDDDDD Other then that, I guess none of us had too exciting of a Halloween, eh? Though did you get a thrill from watching Ghost Hunters Live, Winter? xD

And now that you mention it... Sora really isn't that creative xD LoL, but yeah, I think you're right--the wielders probably do get an "impression" of some sort. And I forgot that Terra, Aqua, and Ven all had keyblades at one point that were the same (namely, "Stroke of Midnight" and such). And I have to agree about where Keyblades come from: I think they manifest, or rather, are forged from the wielder's heart. Keychains are probably formed by connections to other hearts/friends/things (maybe even emotions?), or perhaps they are made? (Like Tarzan's?)

Winter
11-01-2011, 11:14 AM
Not really, too much audio contamination to really hear anything and you couldn't really see anything... Though Steve and Tango playing in the water was priceless!

There's no telling what is in the mind of Nomura, so I guess we'll never really know.

...Oh Char, that bully is sooooooo screwed. :) However, it'll probably be Ailith that ends up taking care of him, as I forsee that comment screwing up his very fragile stability and making him go temporarily nutty. Kokoro will be taking care of that, and Ailith will be busy with changing the meaning of the expression 'fight like a girl.' :)

Name: (First, Last optional) Marx Leosin

Gender: (Male or Female) Male

Age: (Be reasonable with this) 16

Alignment: Undecided

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: If you were to picture a character he looks like the most, it would be Sora in his Wisdom Form. His hair is shorter and more parted down, and he wears sneakers, not gigantic clown shoes (lol). The t-shirt he wears under the short jacket shows an Organization XII symbol.

Personality: Marx is a kind, shy teenager. He usually hangs out alone, creating shadows and playing with light to entertain himself. No one has talked about how his parents abandoned him, even though no one knows what happened to them. If anyone was to make jokes about his parents supposedly abandoning him, he loses his temper.

History: Marx has always been in between light and dark. When he was young, he was found in a field during a major war between light and dark. One from each side tried to take the kid to their side, but eventually, he was pulled out by a soldier of light. He was then trained to use light to protect them from the dark incase he was ever drafted. But, he would end up using dark powers and light ones too. He was then sent to Traverse Town, where he spent the rest of his days.

He was finally able to call upon a Keyblade when he was 7. It kept on changing between Oathkeeper and Oblivion, until, it finally became Two Become One. He then decided to accept that he was neutral, and might be treated as an outcast, but no one even did. Some of them were scared because he could control dark, others were okay with it.

LoL, yeah, it's going to be awesome xDDDDD Can't wait to see what unfolds >:3

But in other news... I'm sick, and it's gross Dx Dangit, why do I always have to catch something this time of year? Dx

Awww! There's just something about this month that attracts the ebil that is, flu. Hope you feel better soon ^^

Actually, why the heck not. I'll make a keyblade soon, and I'll jump right in! I can always use my little plan to explain why I'm just randomly there.

It was Eternal Moonlight who suggested me.

Hehe, heck ya! Early SU FTW! :D

@Max: YAY! :D Glad to have you on board! ^^ LoL, I guess Moonlight should be promoted, eh?

@Winter: Bwahahahaha, nice! >:D Oh, this will be so interesting! Though I think that Kumori just scared Rush away xD

@Velo: Hmm.... I think the history is a bit too vague... Do you think you can flesh it out a little?

@Moonlight: Yeah, ebil time of year >>' But thanks, I hope so too. BTW, you're promoted. To what, I don't know yet xD

@Doodles: LoL, well... it'd be nice. xD Though it's okay, sometimes it's hard to decide where to jump in ^^ Well, to give you some ideas... it is lunch time, so your Recruit could be heading to the Mess Hall. Or not. Then there's the tree thing. Students aren't allowed around it, but Masters are currently investigating it. Then there's the potential fight happening with Traynor, Winter's Charries, Rush, and Ione.

Yeah, things have just been a little slow. I was waiting for Moonlight's post (and possibly Doodles), plus I'm doing NaNoWriMo as well. Winter has informed me that Chibi's currently grounded, so she might not be on for a bit--though maybe she might sneak on :) So, I'll see about putting up a post tomorrow ^^

Wild Traynor wants to battle!

Traynor used Swagger!

Rush was confused!

Kumori used Scary Face!

Traynor's speed fell!

Kian used Ribbon Attack.

It's super-effective!

Traynor was humiliated!

KH Party defeated Wild Traynor!

Yeah, that was dumb, kay bai! *ninjas-out*

XD Lol! You missed Ailith there, though... But Kumori using Scary Face was priceless!

Looks like the girls got some esplainin' to do since Kumori feels horrible and probably will spend the rest of lunch as close to Kokoro as he can be, trying to hide. Ailith will be muttering about how she wants to go beat that bully senseless now.

Yup! It would be glorius to write, too, for me, anyway. Not so much for the person getting the crap beat outta them by the darkness-posessed Kumori.

Kumori would do it were he not so scared of the dark.

Oh, Ailith will beat the crap outta Traynor and crew the next time she sees them. She's getting payback for the fairy comment and there will be a personal apology made to Kumori.

Aw... I wish I could reach into the RP right now and give poor Kumori a hug right now :3

Hahaha, well... remember that Traynor is a Keyblade wielder as much as any of the other students--and as I wrote, he is pretty strong, physically. GotinTyiGoto

Name: Gotin Hollow

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Alignment: Light

Rank: Recruit

Appearance: He is 5’6’’ with tan skin from being outside training all the time. He medium build. He has short blond hair with silver highlights. He has light blue eyes. He wears a dark blue shirt that's open down the middle to show the white shirt underneath it. He wears gray jeans with a picture of a sword going down outside of his jeans legs with the hilt up at his waist, a brown belt and brown shoes. He wears a broadsword sheathed with the royal family crest (the royal crest is three triangles in the same shape as the triforce with two swords crossing in the middle) on the blade because he was hand picked by the princess
to protect her.

Personality: Gotin is nice and easy going but he does have a quick temper if you say anything bad about his home world and princess. He likes to read and to draw people, plants and buildings he sees for the first time but not right then and there; only when he has time to himself will he start to draw the pictures. One strength is he likes to master everything and anything his teachers show him and add his own style to it. This is with his sword and attack magic. It could also be called weaknesses as well as he is determined to perfect everything he learns.

History: When Gotin was 9 years old his kingdom needed warriors to fight against other kingdoms and monsters that attacked their city. He
joined the knights as a recruit to fight and he wasn't the only one, with 240 others joining the knights. The Knights needed people to fight so they open it to 9 year olds and older. Every family teaches their kids from the age of 6 to swing a sword. Every knight is taught to fight for their kingdom, family and friends; they fight for honor, not for power. Two years later the war was over and a peace treaty was made and signed so the war would never happen again. During those two years he trained harder than anyone. He became an apprentice to an older Knight who taught him more than any of the other knights. While training one day the princess was watching him when his teacher asked if he knew anything other than the sword. When he used magic
the princess took him to teach him the magic she learned from her parents. He and the princess were childhood friends but that doesn’t mean she was going too go easy on him. After a few months of this she appointed him as her personal guard so she could teach him magic easier and oversee his sword training.

Once every year the knights must show there skill, power and magic (if you can do it, it’s rare to be able to use magic other than the royal family) in a skills competition. He had turned fifteen right before that year's skills competition was about to take place when a new enemy attacked. They were Heartless but Gotin's people didn’t know what they were. None of their weapon’s would work on them but magic. Gotin got the royal family and the citizens into the chamber that nothing evil can cross into. He never knows why the king says that. It’s the same chamber where the skill competition happens. He went to help the other knights in the attack. As he was fighting his way to find his fellow knights he was cornered by 10 heartless when out of nowhere a guy took out the 10 in one swing each. The guy took his arm and pulled him to the portal he came out. Gotin tried to stop himself from going through to stay and help his companions in the fight. The guy stopped and said, "If you stay you will die, but if you come with me you can become stronger so you can defeat them." After that he let the guy take him through the portal to the Keyblade Guild.

For the next 3 years he studied but trained like he was a rookie. He held back in front of others and so never became an Apprentice. While others who came in the same year and the year after are now apprentice to a Master. He was already good with both sword and magic. When no one is around him, he acts like he was back in his home world of Vespeira where he was almost at the top rank in the knights. He found a clearing in the forest to train out of sight of the other Keybladewielders.

Keyblade: The Keyblade has the royal family crest on the chain that’s hangs from bottom of the hilt. The blade is a broad sword which is a
bit longer and heaver then his. The guard doesn't circle the hilt but looks like a triangle without the bottom on it. The key part looks like the royal crest. One of its powers is whatever magic you are using at the time it will be warped around the blade. The blade increases magic power. Keyblade name is Vespeira.

Other: Soon to be master Jasmine "Jenna" Faraday took him as her apprentice because she saw what he is really able to do. Vespeira rarely have war from Kingdom to Kingdom only with the monsters that roam in pacts around the world. The year length in Vespeira is 565days not 365 like it is here. theme song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw8pcxE6U9k&feature=bf_next&list=PL745E82DDB6A20EBE&lf=mh_lolz)

Name: Jasmine "Jenna" Faraday

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Alignment: Light

Rank: Master

Appearance: She 5’3’’ tall with fair skin because she like training out in the forest then out in the sun. She has short blond hair with sliver and green highlights. Her eyes are light blue and aqua. She wears a light blue armor shirt with armor arm bands that are sky blue. With light blue armor pants and aqua boots. She might look weak but she stronger then you think.

Personality: She has an air of royalty but she doesn't know why. She is easy to get along with but not when she is mad. You will find her somewhere out in the forest or by the Tree of Blessing if she doesn't have to be somewhere. Her strenght is that she thinks everything out before saying what’s on her mind when planning attacks.

History: One day in her home world she was walking down a hallway when a guy in a black robe stepped out in front of her and asked if she
wanted to do something better than what she will do when her parents die. She said sure but that she needed to say goodbye to her family first. The stranger said she couldn't, that it would make them worry about her if they knew what she was chosen for. When she asked what he meant by that, he responded that she was used to sitting in a chair and listening to people's problems; not learning to fight for all worlds against a great evil. She agreed and followed the guy through a portal to the Keyblade guild. She was at age 10 when this happen.

She learned for the first time to wield a sword but she already knew how to do magic because it’s always been in her family. She learns how to take orders instead of giving them to other people. In the years she has been at the Guild she forgot about her life back in her home world where she lived a life of luxury. She was once a princess first in line for the throne if her parents died and she has a younger sister. In the first few years at the guild her hair use to be long but it was getting in her way so she cut it. She was Apprentice to a master until she took the master test and passed just a few days before this RPG started.

Keyblade: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x235/Bound_To_The_Shadows/Keyblades/th_roxas.jpg . It’s up wind and fire attacks. Keyblade name is Black Rose. The gold or yellow is in a shape of a black rose.

Other: In her home world she didn't fit in as a princess because she would rather be out on the battle field then in the castle waiting for reports from the scouts. But she couldn't do anything about it because it forbidden for girls with royal blood in them to pick up a sword and fight. If you are wondering what world she came from its Vespeira. No one knows where she disappeared to but a note was left on her bed saying she couldn't take the rules about how she couldn’t fight so she took off. theme song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze89h1yiGEE&feature=BFp&list=PL7F44C1444F57F70E)

Goll, I really hate that I keep turning down the sign-ups of new folks, but... I can't really accept this one :( There are too many grammatical errors, especially with verb tenses and possessive pronouns and such. I can understand if English isn't your first language, but I can't quite let it slide since one of the rules of the RP is to use proper grammar ^^' If you can fix up your SU to show proper grammar (and continue using it throughout the RP), then I'd be willing to accept you ^^ I'd be happy to help, too, if you'd like. :)

Charmander009
11-17-2011, 08:31 PM
The link you gave doesn't really work :/

Are you going to have to send your writing to your friend every time you need to post? Doesn't seem very practical... Your sign-up should reflect the kind of writing you will add into the RP, don't you think? But I'll wait to see the fixed-up version before making a decision.

When a Master chooses an apprentice, he/she notifies the Elders of their decision and the Recruit is rewarded the status of an Apprentice.

@Doodlebop: Hey, you've probably been busy. No worries. Well, to give you a short recap, my villain character Vanessa has been raising heck, but she was tricked at the last second and brought back to the Guild to face the Elders' judgement. The two people who accompanied her to another world are now in the Healer's Wing, where Anatasia and Dr. Caesura (Chibi's Characters) and Celeste and Siros (my characters) are looking over them. One of the Elders has joined them--and Caesura is preforming magic to try to see what's ailing Embry (Vanessa's Apprentice).

Outside, there has been a stirring at the Tree of Blessings. Some of its usually white-glowing boughs has turned pitch black, and it's causing panic in the students and Masters. Elder Theron recently commanded that the area be evacuated, and so all the students were told go on to lunch. Also, he announced that all available Masters are to come to an important trial after lunch.

Winter's charries, along with mine and Eternal Moonlight's and sealboy's, are currently at the Mess Hall, where a bully tried to pick a fight with them, but were effectively humiliated by sealboy's character. Oh, and Vanessa's up to something... But I think that's it.

12-06-2011, 12:42 PM
Name: (Sgt.) Derek Feyr
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Alignment: Undecided, to become Dark
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance: Constantly in a camoflauge military uniform, Derek is the typical expectation of a solider. He is 6'5", and is fairly lanky, but muscular at 190 pounds. He has dirty blonde hair cut neatly in typical military style, though it is starting to get longer due to his absence of true military order. He is lanky in build, being all toned muscle from military fitness. He has a large scar on the right side of his face that cuts from his upper jaw across his cheek, stopping at his right eye. He has emerald green eyes, which are almost always squinting, a reflex from staring down the sights of his rifle for a long time now.

Personality: Outwardly, confident, usually silent. Usually speaks curtly, and only when specifically addressed. His soldier training has hardened him to a point where he usually has a state of blank emotion on his face. He is very calm under pressure, and usually favors the strategic approach as compared to brunt force. He repsects authority and order, having the military lifestyle drilled into him.

On the inside, he is a nervous wreck. Has an incredibly guilty conscious for deserting his squad (see history). While he is a fairly decent marksman, he is conscious when trying to use his keyblade, as it is a weapon he has no familiarity with. He is very suggestible to foreign ideas, since he hasn't had much of a chance to distinguish his own thought process.

History:

Born and raised by both parents on the mining planet of Meinhoff, he was born to work. Mining the precious jorium minerals from the planet's surface needed many workers, and this included the proud, hard working family of the Feyr's. Working under the likes of Rory Swann, he joined the eventual rebellion against the Kel-Morian Combine. Suiting up in the Marine powertech suit, he descovered his abilities with the C-14 Gauss rifle, the staple weapon of the Terran army. Although he was young, his family supported his choice, knowing that the cruel slaughter of the Combine was wrong. Eventually being helped by the infamous rebel group, Raynor's Raiders, the revolt was successful. Encouraged by his family, Feyr opted to join many of the workers signing up to take down the Terran Dominion.

He improved his marksmanship abilities along with his lifetime friends aboard the Hyperion. He took his loyalty to the maximum, constantly trying to prove that even the "Kid Marine" could make a difference in the universe. He even started seeing some of the Banshee pilots aboard the Hyperion, falling in love with one in particular. They soon got married aboard the Hyperion, with the full crew presiding at the strange wedding among the rebellion. He thought that the only thing that needed to happen now would be for the succesful toppling of the Dominion regime.

Or so he thought.

(Following the Wings of Liberty Campaign of Starcraft 2)

The invasion of Char arrived. Everyone on the ship was murmering thoughts of a suicide mission. To attack the primary hive clusters of the Zerg chilled even the most hardened soldier and mercenaries alike. Even Derek started questioning the value of this mission. Although he was entirely behind Jim Raynor, the arrogance of the Dominion commander General Warfield bothered him to the extreme. He was assigned to go with the general, and helped lead the orbital drop strike onto Char. This was the time that his Seeker came from him. Disguised as a fellow Marine, the Seeker snuck into a bunker as the first of many Zerg hordes were enroute. The Seeker barely managed to convice Derek that his commans were to follow him back to a different location for an ambush. Little did Derek know that he was being led back to an entirely different world.

The screams of the Terrans being ripped apart by Zerg followed him over his shoulders as he ran for cover. It wasn't until after he was at the Academy that he realized that everyone he knew was most likely dead. It was impossible to think otherwise. The Zerg were known for their enormous numbers, and their ability to suddenly come from almost all angles. Little did he know that while his squad did die, the mission as a whole was a success, with the Queen of Blades being restored to her original Terran form, Sarah Kerrigan. His adaptation to academy life has been stiff, and he still feels responsible, somehow, for the deaths of his squad. Every shot makes a difference, doesn't it? He is also now clumsily learning to use his keyblade, which ironically was his original rifle, Fate having handed his future to him, under the guise of war and strife.

Keyblade: WARNING: For those who can't stand to look at bad art, shield your eyes. I hacked this together with paint this morning, as I couldn't find anything on the internet to match what I was looking for.

Impaler (http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww30/grsspkmnmaster/GunKeyblade.png) - A strange Gun-Keyblade. Modeled after the heavy machine gun that Derek has known and loved, it also features heavy spikes on the end that can be used to cut down enemies when mowing down your enemies with bullets isn't an option.

(For avoiding g-modding, I'll use the "gun" part as little as possible)

Other: Derek hails from the Starcraft Universe, specifically Starcraft 2.

For plot points, his main goal will be to try and get home, so he can help with the wars going on there, though he is staying until he can reach Master rank, allowing him free range, using that to get back to his world and stay there. He isn't against using any means necessary to achieve this ultimate goal.

Yeah...that would be true were it not The Post That Never Was. You get no points for a post that no one would have noticed was there had Char and I not seen it on the main page when you put it up.

Derek Feyr...so THAT'S why I recognized the name but not the RPer, he's a rip... Do you have ANY idea how much that's been driving me crazy? XD You're not the only RPer who's used him. I kept wondering if you were related to Grsspkmnmaster or something. XD

Or maybe he's an original character creation by Grsspkmnmaster who has returned after a long break from PE2K and wanted a fresh start under a new name?

*cough*

Though the relative thing could be true too.

Gotin, I'm pretty sure the Masters choose their own apprentices, but go check the info. I'm 95% sure it's mentioned somewhere.

Haha, or it could be that, either way it's been driving me frigging crazy trying to figure out what the connection was. Sorry. :)

It's hard not to remember an odd name like that, but I also have a tendency to remember the most random, pointless things like the names and plots and certain actions in RPs I've been in, particularly characters my chars have interacted with.

This is why my English teacher tells us to assume nothing, haha.

LoL, you get points in my book, Doodles ;D

Sorry I've been a bit busy guys, what with the holidays coming around, and Pe2K lagging like a Slaking :P

Ah, Starcraft. You bring back memories--though I haven't had the pleasure of trying the sequel. But on to the sign-up... Hmm, well, everything looks good, but I wonder if Starcraft is too mature for Kingdom Hearts... I'm a bit leery about guns in this RP, but if it's a bit like Leon's weapon, I think I can swing it. I guess?

But, if you're confident you can make this work, then I'll accept it, Mr. Coyote ^^

Oh, and Gotin--I'm pretty sure I've told you this before, but Masters choose their Apprentices, and the Elders approve it.

Starcraft being more mature than Kingdom Hearts? ... Yeah, no question about it. Though I suppose I was kind of forcing the issue. Derek has a clear sense of what goes on in a world, a universe where war is the norm. To suddenly be pulled away from that is going to be a huge change, and makes him stand out from everyone else.

And like I said, the "gun" will very rarely be used, and will probably be limited in how powerful it will be, further hindering Derek's capability in a fight, and therefore, his confidence in himself, since combat is the only talent he's really ever had.

So yeah, I feel confident, but if you feel like things aren't working, just let me know. :)

Name: Daniel Aiden

Daniel Aiden was born to Chandur's blacksmith and his wife, and for a good amount of time he lived peacefully in this town.

Finished!

Sorry, I didn't notice this earlier! ^^'

Well, all that MineCraft stuff goes over my head, but Daniel looks great! :D THE ACCEPTANCE IS WITH YOU!!! ^^

Classic, yeah. But that's a very old version with half as many blocks and a total lack of the most awesome features. The full version has a more enticing Creative Mode anyways, and you get to play the best part of Minecraft, Survival Mode.

I actually have plans for the bully as well :) Maybe I'll have to VM/PM you on that :D

Getting on that post!

I think university going to keep me busy this term... (already have an EXAM in less then two weeks. And class barely just started). Should still be able to post somewhat frequently though, but if I can't, I'll totally let y'all know ^^

And, oooh! Bully round 2 should be... interesting >:3

I sent Doodlebop a VM for advice on my next move, but so far she hasn't responded. So, I'll pool the feedback here for my response.

I'm sorta stuck as of how my character should gain a world book. I have some options, and I'm asking for an opinion on the most interesting one. I can have it be spit out of the sky (perhaps even have the disembodied voice of Notch speak from the sky, for absurdity), have a clumsy bookbinder find it in the library and bring it to Daniel, or he could find it in his knapsack mysteriously. I'll post when I can decide.

Oopsies. Sorry for not seeing that, NES2. I have it set on one of the ones that doesn't alert you when there's new VMs, and I haven't been checking because lately PE2K hates me. ._____.

I personally am a fan of it being spat out of the sky. Just because Freya would get to be all '??????? ....EXPLETIVES'

Hmm... Daniel hasn't even been introduced into the Guild yet :o How would he get a book? And, I'm curious, what are your reasons for wanting him to find a world book? If you've been reading my posts on Chase, you might find that there's a world book floating around...

Chase hasn't quite decided who to give it to... yet >:3

On a side note... LoL, I'm not sure how to respond to Chibi's post, just cause I'm not sure what good it'll do xD Maybe I should just PM her what's wrong with Embry, but then again... I kind of like the mystery. *shrugs* I'll get to work on something eventually. School's been wrecking my life like a hurricane. It sucks having Chemistry. Every. Single. Day. x_x

*puts away Chemistry book*

LoL, lucky! I'm jealous! xD

I'm hoping to get something typed up sometime tonight after all my homework. I got a test tomorrow for my Plant Evolution class that I gotta study too. *sigh* If only there was more time in a day... :/

Lol, just think of it as removing any status ailments, if that helps (even though that isn't exactly what it does but it's pretty close)

I hate Chemistry, I'm just not good at Science  But I'm predicted A*s in English :D

So yeah, my computer's broken (using school computer during class at the moment, naughty naughty xP) so I won't be able to get on for a week. I know how to fix it, I just need the piece delivered :P

I'll let you guys know when I'm back :)

Lol, I had a fun chem class last year, so I did well, but marine biology is sooooooooooo boring because all we've learned about so far is re-learn about plate techtonics in more detail and how waves work.

Oooooh, bad Seal! XD Hope your computer makes a speedy recovery!

Go for it. Last time I checked nobody else was getting in on our little introduction here, so I'm sure you won't be affecting anyone else's plans. Also, I want to see whether the book just dazed Freya or knocked her out entirely.

Doodlebop if you want you can go first and i can follow. it would be funny to see how the book to the head does to Freya. Oh yeah i been playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 since it came out on Tuesday and loving it. I wonder if any of you are playing the game? and that's me in the picture.

So I posted. Eeyup. Freya is now like 'RRFAGAGHIAH'

Gotin, I haven't played that... It does look fun, though. I have so many games I need to be playing. I still haven't beaten Skyward Sword.... OTL That's a nice picture!

I want to, but I haven't even beaten XIII. Then again, I've heard lots of bad things about the ending.
