In a clear pond where Ducklett and Swanna swarms, two battlers decided to battle. All the avians were looking at them. Sammy, the challenger sent out Cherial the shiny Torkoal. When the coal Pokemon reached the land, all those birds glared at her. But Torkoal didn't care. Face took advantages of the field by sending a Ducklett. He hoped that those Ducklett and Swanna might give her a hand.

A Fire-type Pokemon's weakness was Water. Ducklett knew it and she would scare that tortoise by giving her a rain. Ducklett quacked and looked at the sky. She opened her wings wide and quacked again. The sky turned darker, dark clouds surrounded the blue sky and it started to rain. Cherial watched the duck doing something that wasn't interest her at all. She yawned and let out a cloud that went to Ducklett. The cloud poked Ducklett on her face. She felt something unusual happened to her suddenly. She felt tired. She had never felt tired like this everytime she called rain, but it was different today.

Ducklett ignored her fatigue and kept going for the battle. She might not lose in the land of her own species. Ducklett opened up her mouth and wings. She released a pulse of water from her mouth when she flapped her wings. As soon as she released the pulse, the stamina of Ducklett fell down, she couldn't stand any longer. She sat down on the ground and slept. The pulse hit Torkoal directly on his face and cause her dizzy. She shaked her head. But the confusion wouldn't get away.

Torkoal was confused, she couldn't distinguish which one was her opponent and which one was not. She randomly cracked the ground and stomped on the ground to thrown the sharp rock upside. Luckily, the rocks hit the sleeping Ducklett. But Ducklett didn't react to the damage at all. She was sleeping tight to recover her fatigue. Even Ducklett was hit, Torkoal didn't really feel happy, her head was still hurt and her sight was still blur.

Ducklett was sleeping tight. Nothing could bother her from her nap. Torkoal decided to roll herself to hit the duck. Torkoal ran to the duck which she could hardly see. After she was quick enough, she hid in the shell and rolled herself to Ducklett. Ducklett was hit. Torkoal could handle herself well even during her confusion. Ducklett was still sleeping.

Torkoal's shell hit Ducklett directly on her face and threw the duck back rolling. Ducklett regained consciousness. She woke up and wondered what had happened. She felt tired and her body was wounded. She took a look at her opponent, Torkoal seemed to be healthy and was smiling. Ducklett shook her head, she wished she could remember something, but couldn't. And the sky started to get bright again. The rain stopped. And a rainbow was created in the sky.

Ducklett looked around, he saw the ground was wet, with some scratches and the sky was bright with a beautiful rainbow. She loved beauty but she realized that the rain has stopped, and that meant that she had been doing nothing for the last few actions. Some Ducklett were looking at her. Face then asked Ducklett to make the sky dark again. Ducklett wanted to enjoy the rainbow, but she knew that rainbow wouldn't help her but rain could. She quacked loud, she asked all Ducklett and Swanna to help her. But none of them reacted, they were just watching in silent. Ducklett flapped her wings, her eyes were closed and the body glowed bluish aura. The dark cloud started to gather on the sky. And another rain has started.

After the two rolls earlier, Torkoal had built up some more power with her. She ran again to Ducklett and roll herself to crash Ducklett. Ducklett was standing there confused of what her opponent was up to. She saw Torkoal was rolling her body to her, she tried to avoid but too late. Ducklett was crashed by the rolling coal. Her body was hurt and she was familiar with that kind of damage, but she couldn't remember where she knew it.

After the crash done by Torkoal, now it's the turn for Ducklett to give her a shot. Torkoal stopped near the pond, and Ducklett got an idea to use the water in the pond. She floated on the air, she focused on the water and her eyes glow blue. She raised her wings up and the water from the pond was lift. Torkoal didn't realize the pond. She focused on what Ducklett was doing. She didn't know what move Ducklett was performing, so she just stood there doing nothing. The pond flooded, the water from the pond was controlled by Ducklett, and she pulled her wings towards herself. The water came towards Torkoal and hit her hard.

Torkoal was pushed by the water hard and fast, she thought that it might be good as a start to roll herself. She ignored the damage, and she run to Ducklett and roll herself to crash the unguarded duck directly on the stomach. Ducklett was hit and fell down on the ground backwards. She suffered great pain this turn. She hoped that she could still win this battle.

Ducklett understood what that turtle was going to do. She knew that she would be hurt by the rolling technique again. Ducklett figured out a way to avoid that. She flapped her wings and flew to the pond. As she was on top of the pond, she performed a nose dive and hid under the water. Cherial looked confused. She couldn't hit the duck while she was underwater. Cherial tried to roll herself to the pond, but she stopped right in front of the pond, she wouldn't roll herself into the pond. That was a suicide! Cherial was thinking for a while, tried to figure out how to hit the duck. Ducklett was spying on Torkoal while she was underwater. She looked at the confusing foe. That was the time for her to strike back. Ducklett swam fast to the water surface and jumped from the water and hit Torkoal on her face using her wet wings. Torkoal was surprised and stepped back.

Ducklett wouldn't want to waste her chance. She controlled the water to flooded out from the pond and struck Torkoal. Torkoal tried to guard herself from the raging water. She hid into her shell and protected herself. But the water still get into the shell and hit her.

Torkoal released white smoke from her fireplace in the shell. The smoke went up high to the sky. The rain started to stop. The dark cloud was disappearing, replaced by white cloud. The sky turned blue and bright. A sun appeared to scare all the ducks and swans on the island. Torkoal came out from her shell. She enjoyed the bright sunny weather she had created. She smiled at Ducklett.

Ducklett was annoyed by the sun. She was sweating and felt really hot as if she was steamed. Ducklett wanted to end her foe immediately. Her typing was good against Torkoal, it was no way she could lose. Ducklett let out water from her mouth, Ducklet's sweat and water were mixed together, she enveloped herself in the water and flew to Torkoal. She swung her wings and splashed the salty water to Torkoal. Torkoal was badly damaged by the salty water.

Torkoal took advantages by using the hot bright sun to heat even hotter flame inside her shell. She intesified the heat and let out more smoke from her shell. Torkoal took a deep breath and looked at Ducklett. That duck wouldn't win. Torkoal focused her power and then released her hot flame all over the island. All the Ducklett and Swanna around them flew away. Ducklett was terribly steamed by the heat. She couldn't avoid the heat. She was too weak to run. Ducklett fell down on her wings. Torkoal smiled, she smelled victory.

Torkoal was laughing at her. Ducklett got mad and decided to give the coal some water to cool her up after releasing so much heat. Ducklett whipped up water from the pond and the water smashed Torkoal. Thanks to Ducklett, Torkoal felt cool and more relax.

And this must be the last action she would perform, Torkoal thought. She decided to give the duck sharp stones as the ending. Torkoal intesified the heat from her shell to burn the ground. The ground cracked and stones were thrown out. Torkoal sent the stones to Ducklett together with the heat. Ducklett knew it was her end. She couldn't continue this battle anymore. She gave up. Ducklett closed her eyes, she lowered her head and laid on the pond. The rain of stones came to the pond, the stones fell down like a shower to the pond. The water surface was hit by the stones and it created narrow wave to the water. But the stones couldn't reach Ducklett. They all ended up sinking in the water. Ducklett was so lucky she could still live. Now, this was their last chance.

This was the last chance. Any of them who was hit, lost the battle. Ducklett was aware of the foe. That fire coal Pokemon was so dangerous that she could deliver Ducklett horrible damage. Ducklett wished she could stay a little longer on the field. Ducklett stepped back slowly before Torkoal reacted, she turned back, protected herself and ran as fast as she could. Torkoal realized the duck was trying to escape from the battle. Torkoal wouldn't allow that. She had inflicted so much pain to the duck and she didn't want all of that ended for nothing. Torkoal strengthen her shell, her white smoke covered her body to protect her from any harm. She chased Ducklett who ran faster. After a few steps, Torkoal hid in her shell and rolled with her shell to chase Ducklett. Ducklett rushed faster and aimed to the pond. She jumped to the pond, Torkoal also jumped and she came out from the shell and tried to slam the duck, but the duck had reached the pond and hid inside it. Torkoal missed her target, she landed in front of the pond. Ducklett was safe from the raging turtle. Ducklett could see Torkoal from the water, she kept spying on her. Torkoal was panting after using a tiring combination move. Ducklett used that chance to come out the water and smashed Torkoal using her watery wings. Torkoal's eyes were getting blur. Her sight had faded away, but her courage still hold her. She shook her head and took a deep breath.

Torkoal and Ducklett, both of them were dying. Only one more action can give any of them a victory. Ducklett prepared to attack Cherial and knocked her out. She didn't want to lose to a Fire-type Pokemon in a land of her own kind and being watched by her own kind. She didn't want to embarassed the avians in that island. Ducklett let out water from her mouth, she was ready to strike. Cherial realized that. Her speed was slower, but she had to endure the hit so that she could crash the duck and had her victory. Cherial lowered her body, she got ready for the incoming water attack. But her legs shook, Cherial's stamina was too low to do anything. Moreover, she had just performed a tiring move last turn, she wouldn't be able to keep it up. Ducklett opened her mouth, a stream of water was shot from her mouth and hit Cherial. Cherial took the water gun without moving. Ducklett collapsed. Her energy had run dry. She took a look at Cherial. The big turtle was standing on her four legs with dripping water, but immediately the four legs spread wide, Cherial fell down. Her head fell on the ground. Ducklett smiled, she won.
