The Hybrid Revolution

[Grimdour the Rampager]

Far off in the future, a bunch of teenagers have been used in animal-human DNA splicing by the government. They call themselves the Hybrids because of their "gifts". Area 67 has now launched "Project: Revitalize", where all the people in the whole world will be turned into hybrids. It's your choice: Fight them, or help in Project: Revitalize. It's up to you.

Rules:
No Godmodding, powerplaying, and spamming.
You can have an NPC(Non-Playable-Character, kinda like a partner), but the NPC's not allowed to be a Hybrid.

Here's an example form(mine):
Name: Rin Andrew

Age(must not be over 18):15

Splice: Komodo Dragon

Enhancements: 7ft 4 when transforms into his Hybrid form, has skin stronger than tungsten, strong claws, and spits acid by the gallon.

Weakness: His temper lands him in hot water, and in jail most of the times, and has not fully controlled his animal gene.

Personality(Can be acted out): To be acted out.

History: His parents were scientists who were also involved in Project: Revitalize, without knowing that it was to make hybrid soldiers, not to enhance endangered animals. Their house was burned down, his parents in maximum security, and his sister missing, but presumed alive.

Splice: poison arrow frog

Enhancements: When in hybrid form he has longer legs and a super stretchy tounge. He can jump long distances.

Weakness: Flies

Personality: A know-it-all

History: Voluntiered to be transformed just to know what it was like, and get the money. But then they didn't pay him so he decided to turn against them.

Nice RP! This just might go far. I need to see if my skills are up to snuff (I've been off for a few months...), So:

Name: Jake Nulong.

Age: 16

Splice: Dragon(If unrealcreatures are allowed. Otherwise, I'll go with Lion)

Enhancements: Can fly short distances, since he isn't used to his hybrid for yet. He also has enhanced strength, speed, and the ability to breath fire; however, he hasn't figuered out how to do this without scorching his throat and mouth...also, he has increased defense in his skin (scales. Go figure.).

Weakness: Water. Also, he likes to get into fights against the scientists who spliced his genes, which gets him in trouble.

Personality: To be acted out

History: Pulled from his dying parents, he was ruthelessly tortured until he agreed to undergo the splicing process. They experimented with different animal DNA, finally coming up with dragon DNA. This produced a hot-headed anger, and he escaped to fight another day.

Rin came back to the others in search of a camp site for the others. It's been a few months since he saw his sister, Anne. As he called the others, he noticed a girl, about his age, peeking behind the trees. He came close, but the girl ran away. 'What the!? I'm sure that was her. Guess I won't be able to find her....'

As they were huddling around a fire, he informed them about a bunch of probes around the place. "See?" He picked up a broken one from the ground near the campfire. "They're trying to track us. They want us back."

"I say that we sneak in and get some more hybrids to help use, or even better get animals and inject them with human DNA to help use!"

[Grimdour the Rampager]

"Micky's right. If we're going against the Government, we need more allies. And connections." Rin agreed. Suddenly, the shrubs started to ruffle. 'Could've been the wind, I better get ready.' He thought to himself as he transformed. Someone then emerged from the bushes. "Still a worrymuch, huh?" A girl then said.
"Anne! How are yah? You alright? Anything wrong?"Rin started asking as he transformed back to hug his little sister.

After a few minutes of mushyness, Anne told them what she can offer to the team. "Since the accident, I've been in many IT short courses to hack in to Area 67's security systems then find you to save our parents not to mention to stop Project: Revitalize. Now I have many connections with the London Underground in Britain, and the local branch. So am I in?"
Rin asked Micky if they should let her in.
"She IS my sister, and as you've heard, she's got technology on her side. Is she in?"

Jake

I stared at my sharp claws with disgust. I still wasn't used to my scaly body, my sharp claws and teeth, and my newfound ability to breathe fire.

"They're trying to track us. They want us back," said the Komodo hybrid, by the name of Rin. I met him a couple days before, in a jail cell. I busted him out, and we have been on the run ever since.

The frog hybrid, named Micky (I called him Mick), suddenly piped up. "I say that we sneak in and get some more hybrids to help use, or, even better, get animals and inject them with human DNA to help us!"

"That is improbable, and highly dangerous," I growled, "We need to hide out for a few days, get used to our new forms, and let all their comotion die down. They'll forget about us soon, and then we might be able to launch a full frontal attack and free more hybrids to help our cause."

A girl walked into the clearing, and had a conversation with Rin. Then he asked if she could join our cause. I nodded.

I didn't wait for their answer. I walked off, not too far, from the camp, thinking about my dying parents, and the sister I might never see again. She had begun to constantly wander into my mind. I stared into the sky.

"Whaddya think, Jake?" I asked him. I wanted Anne to be safe, so it might be a good idea to just leave her. And she's not a hybrid. But it still is a desperate time, so we might need her help. "It IS a desperate time, so how about a vote? Raise your hand if you want her on our team." Then Anne tapped me at the shoulders and asked if she's in. "Uuuhhh....yeah. You're in."

Name: Lunita (Luna)

Age: 15

Splice: Artic Wolf

Encantment: In hybrid, her hair turns a silver white hair and wolf ears. Her doggy tail is white as well. Her eyes are a moonlight gray and turn light blue when light is directed in her eyes in the dark. Her hands are clawed and white and so are her feet. She grows white fangs. She howls when alone in the dark to find her friends. She has the speed and agility of a wolf.

Weakness: She is gets very lonely very quickly so whimpers and howls with no control. She isn't very strong and doesn't like hights.

Personality: She is very friendly as dogs go and growls at meanies or strangers. She is very silly in times of sadness and hurt so she could cheer people up.

History:Lunita had a very nice life with great parents and friends. She was walking in the near by woods when she heared a noise in the bushes. When she finally decided to check it out, a man in black stuffed her into a bag and dragged her to Area 67. She found herself as part artic wolf and then escaped before they did any experimens on her.

"So?" I still remembered that grueling night. Flames everywhere, but there was a thunderstorm. Anne crying for our parents.

"Are we gonna be okay, Rin?" Anne cried as our bedroom went up in flames. "Come on. We have to make it downstairs." I told her as we walked carefully through the burning wood, then Anne fainted due to the smoke. "Please be alive, Anne. Please be alive."I carried her along the way, avoiding the flames. We arrived at the living room when I started to feel dizzy. "No....I...have...." I thought I was gonna die then and there.

As I woke up, I found myself in Area 67, surrounded by scientists. "This isn't gonna hurt, kid. Okay?" A scientist told me, theninjected a serum into my arm, then I felt faint, then I went to sleep....

"Well .. . " I sit there in though. We could use her computer smarts. I am pretty good but not to hack into other stuff good. I walked up to her and sniffed the air around her. She looked at me like i was crazy.

"I say yup! She has a good scent and no bad ones are on her. And," She hugs Anna, "I don't what to be with you GUYS all the time!" I let go and walk over to my spot and sat like a happy puppy waiting for them to get angry.

"Well that settles it. Anne's in." I replied. Anne seemed to feel wierd when Luna hugged her, but she likes dogs, wild or domestic. "So what's the plan?"
Anne explained what she knows about Area 67, Project: Revitalize, and how the Government will spread it. "They're gonna use all the major nuclear bases all around the world to spread the virus. But we still have a chance: Break into Area 67, hack into the main command server, and disable the bases." she continued.

"But one question: How?" I interrupted. She had a good idea, but no details on how to do it. I smiled at her, and told everyone that after breaking out of the Federal State Prison a few months ago, he knows when the truck delivering weapons from Area 67 comes. "The truck comes at 8:30 am and leaves at 9:10 am sharp. We have to be quick when going in the truck. The Prison itself doesn't have that much of a security system, so this might be easy."

"Well i'm going for a swim," Grassy said as he walked towards a lake near the camp, changing when he got there.

Luna

As Micky walked to the lake, a shiver went up my spine.

"Why would you want to go to the lake? I bet it is FREEZING! Just thinking it makes me cold!" I grab a old, pink blanket and wrap it around me. My ears fold beside my head and my tail wraps beside me.

[Shen]

Jake

I felt as though I was in a trance. Nothing was on my mind but the night I was stripped of my parents, my life, my sister...and thrusted into this nightmarish disaster...

Someone screamed. I woke with a start, jumped out of bed, bolted out of the room, and ran down the stairs into the living room. Only there wasn't a living room...

At least, not anymore. The entire area was decimated, as though a tornado went through this one sole house. Papers, cushions, even splinters of wooden furniture lay all over the floor. The walls and carpet had been stripped from existence in some areas, while others, it was burnt and still smoldering.

I looked around for whoever screamed, very purturbed by the wreckedge I found. Then I heard the scream again, only this time, I was closer. i recognized that voice!
"Sharen!" I yelled, running for the stairs to her room in the basement.

I reached the bottom, but couldn't go any further, fire was spreading wall-to-wall, covering everything in sight...including Shaaren's room, which had been decimated.

I screamed. i screamed, but not because of physical pain. I screamed for my heart, which had been rended and obliterated by the loss of my sister, who was my only friend. She helped me, I helped her, she always stuck up for me, looked up to me...all gone.

I ran back upstairs, looking for anything that would help me to get to my sister, like a fire extinguisher. That was when i saw my burnt, bloodied parents.

I couldn't scream any more, so I was stunned, unable to move. But, when I saw movement, I broke out of my stunned state, and rushed over to them. I embraced the only one awake: my mother. She used to have beautiful, sparkling copper-brown hair, but the fire had singed it to an ugly charcoal. Her face no longer shined with all-knowing radiance, nor did her eyes sparkle with affection. Her face had a most depressed look, and her eyes had nothing but emptiness, like dark pools of water at night. She did, however, smile at me when she felt me hug her. She looked up at me, and tears sprang to her eyes.

"You're alive...good." She gasped, hardly able to speak at all. "Is your father conscious?" she asked. I shook my head. "I hope he's all right."

I stood up, tears running down my face. "There's something else, mom." I said shakily. She shook her head. "Not before you go get your sister." She said. I stared into her eyes, and said, "That's the something else."

As realization dawned on her and spread around her face, she began to weep openly. I pitied her, for that was exactly how I felt at the time. I couldn't cry, though. I already did, and was unable to cry any further. I stared at the ground even longer, hoping beyond hope that i would wake up, and realize this was all a dream; no, a nightmare. The worst nightmare ever.

"My daughter, my darling daughter...oh why?! WHYYYYYY!" My mother cried, weeping harder than ever. She beeged for this to stop, that she wanted her only girl back, safely in her arms. I felt the need to scream, scream forever and ever, until this horror had passed. I looked around further at my surroundings.

My dad's pokemon littered the floor, clearly dead. His prized Raichu had a hole in it's head, the dratini was bleeding profusely through many deep slashes in its throat, and his other pokemon had various, indescribable wounds that ran deeply all over their body. I had never seen a pokemon dead until then, and the sight was ghastly, almost too hooribly ethereal.

I looked around at the rest of my surroundings...until the door burst open, letting in several men in white lab coats. A bright light streamed into the room, like a search light being pointed solely at the doorway. I was blinded, so I shielded my eyes with my arm. I looked closer at the strange men. They were carrying guns.

A man grabbed my arm and trien to yank me away from my mother and father's slightly alive bodies. My mother grasped my arm. "You shall not take him!" she yelled. The guy pulled harder, finally succeeding in pulling me away.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I yelled, kicking and screaming, all in an attempt to free myself from this evil man's grasp. "Mom! Dad! You can't do this, you...!" I never got to call the strange man anything, for my mouth was taped shut.

As I was carried forcefully out the door, I heard a gruff voice say to the other men, "Kill them." as he shut the door.

My eyes opened wide when I heard the gunshots. I kicked and punched even harder, knowing that the only way to get back was to exact revenge on these men, to kill them the way they killed my family.

I never got away, for I was hit hard upon the head with something quite solid, knocking me out cold.

The next time I ragained consciousness, I was a hybrid.

I snapped out of my trance with a start. Those memories were horrifying, yet the only things keeping me going now. I had told only one person about these memories, and what happened...he happened to be talking with the others about how to stop the world from getting turned into hybrids. Rin.

Rin

"Well I'm going to sleep." Since it's getting quite late, I rested my body onto a soft patch of grass nearby. I asked Anne if she'll go too. "Yeah, okay. But where?"
"I'll get you a sleeping bag." I told her, and then ran off to a nearby store in my hybrid form smashing the trees in my way. When I arrived at the place, I asked the clerk for a sleeping bag.
"Okay, okay!!! I'l do whatever you say, just don't eat me!!!!!" The clerk begged for mercy. Finally, someone in my claws begging for mercy. As I walked out, a police car came. I ran off then blasted it with acid. "Losers...."

When I arrived, Anne asked why a police siren was sounded. "Uh........nevermind."
"What did you do?" Anne became suspicious. She probably was worried I would be sent to Area 67 if I'm caught.
"Here's your sleeping bag." I gave her that sleeping bag from the store, the went to sleep. "Goodnight."

While in the river Micky found 2 usful things, a bike that was still in tact and a small car battery. His plan was to charge up the battery, with the bike wheeles, while someone was riding the bike. He then found a jar. When he was getting out of the water he aw some frog spawn, and a preator near. He put some water into the jar, cut off the leaf and put it in with the frog spawn.

Micky found a nice place to sleep and then dozed off with the jar in his hands.

Luna

I saw everyone going to bed so i thought i should go too but first. . . .

I stood up, still holding to the pink blanket, ran through the woods with lighting speed. I dodge all the trees and bushes with ease and stopped at a small rock that pointed to the full moon. That moon had reminded me of my pokemon, Poochy, my poochyena. I would always walk her in a moon filled nights like this. We would play in the mini sandbox that I can't fit no more and sleep in the hammock with my fave songs on. It is all gone just because one night I just HAD to go to the woods without Poochy. Now, she is a mix of a wolf and has to stop an evil lab from making more like them. Man, this is so bad for my head.

I walk up the rock till reaching the peek and look striaght at the moon.

"My song is only for the moon who shall always listen the pain of the wolf." I howls to the moon a long moarning howl. I stopped when wet tears slide down my face. I walk down the rock and jump up a tall tree near the rock. I saw before me the whole forest from the grand moonlith lake to the dark green trees. I wrap the pink blanket around me one last time, careful with my claws, and feel into a deep sleep.

As I woke up, I found myself in chains, and in a banged-up shack. "So yer 'wake now, eh?" A drunken fisherman said as he poked my scales. "So 'tis true. Yer a sea critter, eh? I'll make me millions with you." I tried to move, but I was feeling numb. Anne or the others weren't there even. He got out a knife to skin me, but it didn't work. "My skin's tougher than tungsten, the strongest metal on the planet." I bragged about it, then he shot something at me that made me faint instantly. "Shaddup, ye old lil' sea critter."

[Shen]

I don't mind it being the next day guys. No sweat.

Jake

I woke with a start in a cold sweat. I had that dream again, the one where I was turned into a hybrid. I breathed hard, still not aware that it was only a dream. I closed my eyes and calmed down.

When I opened my eyes, they fell on my extremely sharp claws. My pulse quickened, my anger rising. This, was my curse. My plague. Every morning, I'd wish that this was all a dream, and that I'd wake up at my house to my mother calling for me to come down to breakfast. I sighed silently.

Last night, I watched as Rin ran off to town, later coming back with sleeping bags; one for him, and one for the new girl, the non-hybrid. I thought she was the lucky one. Then, I heard Luna a little ways away, howling at the moon. About then, her song had washed sleep over me. It was so peaceful, but full of sorrow and feeling.

I looked around at my surroundings. I had wandered on top of a hill, apparently, right above the rest of the party. I looked down at their sleeping bodies.

Rin wasn't there, nor was his sleeping bag.

This was confusing, as I knew that Rin wasn't the early bird, and usually, he'd just leave his sleeping bag alone. I pondered this a moment.

A gun shot sounded in the distance, followed by a loud "Shaddup, ye old lil' sea critter."

The others woke up at the sound of the gunshot. Even Luna was in the camp, growling at the disturbance. I stood up quickly and spread my wings.

"You all here that? I think somebody, or someTHING has Rin! Let's go!" I called down to the others.

I jumped off the top of the hill, flying toward the gunshot, the others following closely.

Luna

I had woken up in the moring before any sight of the sun was up and noticed how late it was and ran back to the camp. I saw everyone in their peaceful sleep so i decided to sleep some more than my usual early bath and making breakfast for everyone because it was still very early. I jumped up a smaller tree and wrapped the same pink blanket around me.

It wasn't long till a gunshot was heard and everyone shot up from their sleep. My ears ring in pain so i started to growl an iritatted, loud growl.

Jake opens his winds, "You all here that? I think somebody, or someTHING has Rin! Let's go!" He flews toward the gunshot and we all follow. I was right at Jake's tail when i smelled Rin a few miles away. I speeded up and dashed throught the trees at top speeds of 50 miles per hour, knowing that even if she had run that fast that Jake would find her in the sky. I ran till i got to this clearing with a fisherman loading a uncousiocous Rin into a old, broken down boat. i growled really load when i thought i had smelled his blood.

Bad for her that the fisherman had heared her, "I'm mighty lucken today. I've found a werewolf too. Hicup." The smell of aweful alcohal spray from his breath.

"I am not an ugly werewolf! Artic wolves are prettier and DUDE, you NEED a breath mint!" I covered my nose cause i couldn't take the smell anymore.

"I 'll get ye too." He tossed a neat at me while i was trying to breath but the smell of alcohal was clouding my mind.

Micky jumped on the guy before he could do anything to luna. He then dragged him into the water swam into the middle and left him drifting. He then came back to land and sat down.

Name: Leon Johnson

Age: 15

Splice: Male Lion

Enhancements:Grows in size(not much) His once human face becomes a lions, keeping Leon's hazel eyes. Grows very sharp fangs.His hair spreads out, enveloping his neck, forming a mane. Light brown fur covers his body, and a tail with the brown tipped end sprouts out. His fingernails and toenails turn into black claws as the transformation completes. He gains the power of a full grown male lion.

Weakness: Seperation. Lions naturally live in prides, and if seperated, lose the ability to hunt more suceessfully and tackle large prey.

Personality: To be acted out

History: Leon was always wandering places near his home. One day, he came across men in black suits, dumping...something into the lake. As soon as they spotted him, he was taken to their base of operations, and they turned him into a hybrid.

As Luna and the others found me, I started to regain my strenght. It was kinda bad since she was trapped in a net. "Heh, Now I'll gets me a tub with the money." Right after he finished the sentence, I broke out. The chains flew out everywhere, breaking one of his windows. "Strong'un, eh?" His breath was distracting me from Luna.
"Whaddya think?" I threw him out, and cut off Luna's net. "You alright?"

"Yeah, thanks. I am so relived that i can breath again. He REALLY needs a breath mint!"

He thought i heared him started to laugh a litte, "WHAT? I AM SEIRIOUS! HE NEEDS A BREATH MINT!"

I walked over to Micky and check for any damage as the 'use to be' only girl in the group, I had to do the First Aid and other important stuff for the group that they wouldn't do unless i reminded or foce them.

"You seem okay, do you feel tired or hurt anywhere?"

She was right. That guy DID need a breathmint. A big one. Anyway, I helped her with Micky. Since I was an Honor Student in Biology a few years ago, I checked for internal injuries. Fortunately, none."Guess you're not the onlu First-Aider here, eh?" I smiled at her. Then I went back to check on Jake and Anne.

Leon

Leon trudged through the forest, a freak of nature.

"Ugh...what am I?" He glanced at his claws, and felt his fangs.

"I have to control this..." He concentrated on what he looked like before, and when he opened his eyes, he was himself again.

"Gah, I am so nosy!" He remembered how he became a hybrid. He wandered around aimlessly, until his stomach growled.

" Well, what would a lion do?" He closed his eyes, and engaged the transformation.

"Ok, lets do this." He began running through the forest on all fours, trying to locate potential prey.

He sniffed the air.

"Eww, whats that smell!? It seems familiar." He wandered toward the scent, and was surprised to see three hybrids.

He growled, ready to defend himself if the need arised.

"I guess your right. He,he." I watch Rin walk over to Jake and Anna when i thought i smelled another hybrid in the bushes. It can't be Jake, Rin, or Micky so who could it be?

I walked to the bushes with caution, reminbering the capusher, i called to the others as i got 6 feet of the hybrid, Hey everyone, i thing I found a new friend!" I looked threw the bushes and saw a lion/human thing.

I waged my silver tail, "Awe! It is a cute kitty too!"

I stood still as the wolf hybrid stalked toward me. I readied my claws.

"Awe, its a cute kitty too!"

Leon stared dumbstruck at the playful wolf hybrid.

"Um...I'm a lion.. not a kitty."

"Seriously though, who are you?"

Luna


"Oh yeah, I am Lunita or as everyone calls me Luna. I am part Artic wolf and do you want to be my friend, little kitty?" I waged my tail at full speed and it looked just like a silver band. Everyone stared at slilly one me with counfustion or maybe just embaressment.

Rin

I came up to the new hybrid and introduce myself. "Hi I'm Rin, Luna's friend." I said then put my claws on Luna's shoulder. She seemed thrilled about this guy joning our team.

After a few introductions from Anne and the others, I kinda felt warm around Luna. Kinda "close", but I dunno why. Probably because both of us were closer to the bonfire, so I just ignored it.

"Hello Luna, I'm Leon, a lion hybrid."

A komodo dragon hyprid approached us.

"Hi I'm Rin, Luna's friend." I greeted them, and the rest of the group.

I treaded over to the bonfire and asked Luna a question.

"Ok, so, how did all of you guys meet? And why are you so hyper?"

"hey don't forget about me!" Micky shouted as he ran over to the group. "The names Micky!"

[Kat-WolfGirl]

Luna

After all the intros were done, Leon asked how we meet and why i was so hyper.

"I don't know why i am hyper", I did the 'thinking' pose, "I think it is because i get more energize around my friends, even more hyper around people like me, like you all!" I was about to jump around for my hyperness was going off the roof, "Or maybe it is my wolf part. They are playful at times."

I was starting to feel pretty hot but i remebered that i hadn't taken a bath yet so made a mental note to do that it when Leon was settled in. Then my memorie kicked in, "Oh yeah, I forgot how we meet. Do you remember Rin? Jake? Micky?"

Rin

"Well okay. After I was in a Fed Prison, Micky busted me out, then we found Jake, well actually Jake found us. Then we went here. During that, we bumped into Luna. Literally. Then we camped out here, then Anne found us." I narrated.

Anne then came over, and explained how she found us. "Well I'm on the run like my brother, but because I joined the local Underground, trying to stop the Government from turning everyone into hybrids." While she was talking, I smiled slightly at Luna, and kinda felt wierd. I dunno why, could be because I'm cold-blooded, so my blood might've gone too hot. But I didn't bother.

After Rin had explained and smiled at me for some strange reason, I rememdered, "Oh yeah! I was running from this man moose, it was like RED eyes, FOAM in the MOUTH, and everything! I wasn't seeing where I was going and crash into you guys, I am still very sorry about that."

I got back to the subject of Leon's join, "So could Leon join us?"

After the explaination, Luna brought up the subject of Leon joining the group.

" I'd really like if I could join you guys, and girls, since we're pretty much the only ones of our...'kind'(except for An. If not,.....well, I'll go off on my own. In the meantime, I'll be off getting food until you have made a decision."

He trudged off into the bushes, leaving them to their privacy.

Whooptydoo, off hunting when they haven't even accepted me. Am I nice or am I just stupid? Then again, I am pretty hungry. He checked out trees and bushes, nothing edible.

"Berries or meat, berries or meat?"

"Ooo, cool, berries" He harvested them, and headed off to their makeshift camp.

"In the meantime, I'll be off getting food until you have made a decision." He walks off to the bushes and we where left there to discusse the matter. Oh man, I sound like my mom when she gives her 'speeches'.

I distroyed the creepy silence by asking first, "So I think he should join. Like Micky said yesturday, we need help to defeat the evil!" I stood up in a action hero pose.

"True, I'll ask him later." I answered. Luna was doing this action pose thing, which was kinda stupid. "So, 'dup?" Anne then joined in. "Is Leon in?"
"We all agreed, now all we need is his 'reply'." I remembered the time my dad brought a 'killer' panda. It was spliced with lion, so it could work in groups and prevent cubs from getting abandoned.
Side effect was, it killed, hence the name. It made me buy a mini-tombstone for Jeremy, my hamster.

"I guess...this could be food."

He placed his harvest onto the ground, and say down, unsure of himself.

"We forgot Jake. Where is he, anyway?" I asked them. Leon was watching us, so I told him that we only need Jake's vote. "So far it's a win-win basis. So wolud you join us?"

I'm back! Sorry for the wait.

Jake

My head was pounding as I woke up. I tried to raise an arm to massage it...but I was completely tied up, and in a net to boot. I growled, and struggled to open my muzzle, which was also restricted. Seeing as how I couldn't move, I tried to remember how I got like this, but my memory at this point was a little foggy. The last thing I remember was Rin breaking out of his bonds and the others talking with him.

I heard footsteps, and I feigned asleep. Then two people started a conversation, male by the sound of it.

"So, how hard did you hit that thing?" the first one asked. "It's still out cold." The second person laughed, his voice low, yet sinisterly cold.

"Of course! D'you really think one of our bushwackers wouldn't knock his brains out?! You're awefully unneducated to be this high up in the government." So, the government was on me again, huh? "This is the one we've been after for a long time. The top-priority one!"

The first one paused. 'You mean...project XT?" XT? What did that stand for?

The low-sounding man laughed. "Got that right! This is the one we'll use to put the world under one flag. We'll be more powerful than ever with this thing at the front lines!"

This, however, got my full attention. "If you pigs think I'll follow you, then I'm gonna shred your insides and force feed them to you!" I said gruffly. This startled them. Then, they smirked (my eyes had opened already).

"I don't think you'll have a choice! At least, not after we inject this into your system..." He held up a long needle. Man, I hate needles.

I chuckled. "D'you really think that'll pierce my scales?! They're as hard as Tungston (Did I spell that right?)! You don't have a chance."

The second guy piped up, his voice unnaturally lower than it was before. "Oh, really?!" He thrusted the needle through my scales and skin into my bloodstream, pushing the evil potion into my system.

I roared, not only out of pain, but also of shock. First, He got it through my scales! Second, I hate needles (Like I need to repeat...). Third, this liquid, as they said, would make me obediant to their every whim.

My head felt fuzzy as the toxin took affect. Having no control over my body anymore, I heard myself break out of the bindings and stand in front of the two men. "What is your command?" I heard myself say, in an even lower growl than I would've thought.

The men pointed toward the forest. "Round up the other hybrids in the forest, and bring them here ALIVE! We'll be able to do the same to them as well!" The two men guffawed rather evilly.

As my mind continued to lose it's grasp on conciousness, the last thing I registered before succumbing to oblivion was my wings opening and my body taking flight of it's own accord...

Personality: He is very fun to play with, as he trains his pokemon well. He loves to battle, and is your best friend all untill you make any sort fun of him, then hes your worst enemy.

History: He isent that complex he hasent had a lot of friends since he got his temper. However; he loves to annoy people. He was a basic trainer, that has yet to defeat the elite four.

After Rin states that Jake is missing and asked Leon to join, I interuped, "Yeah, where is Jake? We can't make a disition with out him. He would get made at us and we don't want him mad." Just with that a loud, painful and very shcoked roar coming from the deeper part of the forest.

"Ah! What was that!" I jumped.

Just then, a horrendous, loud roar came deep from the forest.

"Everyone wet themselves...right!?" Leon looked around, and drooped his head.

And I'm supposed to be brave like a lion.

"What was that....reminds me of that movie with the dinosaurs. The roar is a BAD thing. What are we going to do?"

Jake is missing....could that be him?

Enhancements: Has all the traits of a wild bear, and sharp claws that can tear through a car. And super-scent.

History: Ishuta was kidnapped because of his knowledge of animal biology. After a few months in governemt care, he was experimented on along with a few other teens, one he remembers.
Personality: A little shy, and is afraid of injections.

This "Ishuta" guy seemed scared of me, so I gave him a smile. "I'm Rin. Here's my sister Anne, and our wolf Luna." I introduced them to him. Ishuta seems kinda shy for a bear. "Don't forget Leon, Micky and Jake. So what brings you here?" I felt stupid using that corny line, but that was out of curiosity.

A bear hybrid appeared and said it was him that made the roar, which made me happy, and into himself as Ishuta as so i sat back down.

"Weren't you two at the port today?" I sat there bewildered. I couldn't remember going to a port but I had a memory problem so I sat there and thought for alittle as Rin into all of us.

I, then, notice that Ishuta didn't want to sit next to Rin for some stange reason than I didn't get. He was an okay guy and pretty friendly too. Maybe, it could be how he looked. It would scary anyone at first glance to see Rin. I wasn't scared cause I was already running away from a mad moose before meeting them.

Then, I forgot about the 'port' thing and listen in when Rin asked, "So what brings you here?"

"I figured that I should join you guys, since I'm also a hybrid." Rin smiled at me, which gave me peace of mind. "You were those guys Old Man Johnson caught, right? He seemingly avoided Rin, as if he was afraid.

As the others talk he mumbled, thinking.

"THAT'S WHY HE SMELLED SO BAD!" I jumped up fast, almost made the log I was sitting on roll over. "He is so stuipd to think you were BigFoot, me a werewolf, which I am way prettier than one, and Rin a sea thingy. I want to show him a piece of my mind. Hmph!" I was getting I little too edgy about this but really, how dare he call me a werewolf. Hmph!

I realize how messy I was so I decided, "Hey, sorry about this, but I need to go." I jumped toward the lake that was 30 miles away.

I turned around before leaving, "I don't want you all to follow me, okay? Or, you will be in a WORLD of hurt." I dashed through the woods toward the lake to do something I was suppose to do that moring and I didn't want the boys to follow me.

Before I was out of hearing rage, I heard Leon ask, "Sorry for the interuption, but haven't we forgotten Jake?"

I just forgot about the 'thing'. I got a sudden itch inside like Jake was in trouble which I had felt alittle earlier and ran back to the group, "We need to find him. I feel like he is in trouble."

Luna was serious, so I planned it while running."Where IS he? We haven't seen him since this morning. Ishy, can you track people with their scent from their, scale?" I asked Ishuta, since he's a grizzly bear. I found Jake's scale on the ground, it was a shiny emerald scale the size of a small beverage cup. "We'll split up in teams. Luna, Leon, you're with me. Anne, Ishuta and Micky, you're on a group. Anne, got a communicator thingie?" I was in my "Action Man" mood. Anne got a bunch of headphones with microphones from her backpack. "Here, these might help." She gave us each one, varying in size.

Since Leon, Ishuta and me are scary, Ishy was in Anne's team. Micky was a high jumper, and probably crawl through spaces. Anne and Luna are our geniuses, so there's our team. I dunno, but I kinda felt safer with Luna for no apparent reason. 'What am I thinking? Gotta focus, Rin.' I thought to myself. Still, my thoughts of Luna was still in my head. Thank you, Komodo brain.

Anne then got out her IM, and told us that Jake's in the State Federal Prison. "Okay, everyone stick together until we arrive there." I got up and ran to the main road, with Ishuta and the others following. "Ishy. Please take care of my sister, okay?" I told him then stopped to prevent being caught. All the time, I had my eyes were focused on Luna, no matter what I do.

Rin was the commander, and I could accept that. Something weird was going through me. It was like I was the one in charge, not Rin.

"Ok, guys...and girl, we are a pride, understand? We do not leave anyone behind, no matter what. I will take full responsibility for anyone's injuries."

Grinning, he said," Lets go find our lost pride member."
He looked at his teamates, calculating the odds.

Ok, we have Luna, the swift one, obviously the scout. I guess i'll be the regular soldier guy, and Rin.. ol' Rinny boy, the tank.

"Ok, lets go!" With that statement, he let out a roar, showing his obvious primal fury.

His eyes gazed at his teammates, then glanced at Luna. His heart was beating exceptionally fast.

Wha-whats happening? Do I... He changed his gaze to the path in front of him, and waited until they start their rescue mission.

Rin gives us our positions in the search party for Jake. Ishuta, Micky, & Anne were in a team and me, Leon & Rin were in a team. I would agree with the arragement. Their was smarts, brawns, and speed with each team. Something was weird with Leon. He was acting as he was leading which I really didn't mind.

But when he said about a pride, I added, "Or pack."

He must of just like to feel like the leader of a pride as a real male lion would. He connects alot with his animal to really be like that or it was controling him for a sec.
I thought about how I am in the team or pack as I call in my head. I am like the alfa female because I was the only girl and Anne didn't take alot of control all the time but if she wanted too then I wouldn't argue or nothing. If she was the alfa female, would that make Rin the alfa male? AH! No thinking of that! Must just focus on finding Jake!

She shook her head which made her wolf ears flop back and forth. She looked up and waited for the sign for Rin to go.

Noticing everyone was up and running, Leon pointed ahead.

"Luna, can you see if you can catch his scent. A lion or komodo dragon's sense of smell aren't as keen as a wolf's.

As he looked at her, he sharply turned his gaze to the ground, blushing through the tannish fur covering him.

Oh man, oh man, I barely know her! Why am I feeling this way!?

He waited for Luna and Rin's response, hoping that nobody, especially Luna had caught him blushing. Who knew if their 'other parts' had keen eyesight.

"Don't worry Rin. She's in good hands, or paws." I replied. It was natural for Rin to worry about his sister. A police squad then came near that alley we were in. Hope they didn't see us. As I hid behind a dump, I noticed Leon's face was a little bit red. He's probably blushing, but why? It was none of my business, so I didn't bother.

"Okay, go." I told everyone. Still, I'm thinking about Luna, for some reason.

After a few runs, I heard a siren and the ground felt a little shakey. "Attention hybrids: You are under arrest for destruction of property and disturbance of peace. Surrender now and no one gets hurt." A bunch of tanks and choppers then arrived. "Come on, guys! Anne, stay at that warehouse. NOW!" I shouted then slammed a tank, ripping it apart and using them as gloves. "COME ON!!!" Then I felt like my body's getting stronger, but my mind growing weaker. 'No! Not now. Not now........' I then lost control of my body, as if a real Komodo dragon took control of me. I can still see, hear and feel what's happening, but I can't do anything about it. My eyes then glowed a red hue, everything seemed red. I was losing myself again. I then saw acid blasted from my mouth, melting everything in range. It was horrible. Even my friends ran for cover. Including Luna. 'Hope she doesn't get hurt, or worse......I have to control myself.'

There was a battle outside, and a war inside my mind. A war between me, and my hybrid form, the Komodo, as I called it. I couldn't just watch my friends get hurt. Especially Anne and Luna. They both feel special to me. Anne's my own flesh ad blood, and Luna, well....I can't explain it. She just seemed special since the day we met.

"What was that?" I asked myself. There was a wolf running. On two legs. I was ready to ram it in case. Instead, I saw a hybrid. Like us. An arctic wolf hybrid to be precise. Then she rammed me, and a moose jumped by. "Oh, sorry. Did I hurt you? Sorry if I did." I apologized. She was a silver wolf, kinda looks like a puppy. "No, don't worry. I'm okay." She replied and got off me. Then we set up camp a few minutes later. Jake was sitting there, Micky wandered off, and Luna with me close to the bonfire. "So there. That's how I made that moose angry, and bumped into you. Sorry." She explained to me how she ended up bumping into me. Suddenly, I felt something....warm. Kinda like the warmth of knowing a friend. A friend you can count on when you're in trouble. Who's always there whe you're down and out.

Leon cursed under his breath.

The cop shad caught up, and a battle was inevitable..

Rin was took a tank out, but something was wrong. He was growing bigger.

"Rin!? What are you doing?"

Rin only let out a inhumane hiss, and continued decimating the troops.

"What happened to him?", Leon asked Luna and the others.
Rin was on a rampage, acid flew everywhere.
One glob of acid headed straight for Anne and Luna.

This is REALLY going to hurt. Time to play hero.

As the glob was about to hit them, Leon jumped in the way.
As the acid hit his flesh, the burning pain began.

"AHHH!" Leon clawed at the spot where the acid was, trying to get it off.

He was infuriated, like a rabid dog. Leon let out a primal roar, and the birds flew away.

It...burns...Ahrghhhh!

Fury filled Leon's eyes. He let out a snarl . His lion part was very pissed off. You don't want a very large male lion pissed at you.
He headed straight for Rin.

"Stop right there you freak!" A brave, yet foolish police officer stood in his way. Leon grabbed him my his neck, and brought him very close to his eyes.

"Grahhhhh!!" He let out a horrendous, yet loud, roar and the man fainted.

Dropping the fainted individual, he continued to focus on Rin.

(Thought it would be interesting t have 2 hybrids consumed by anger and pain fight each other ;p)

A growl erupted from my throut, Why now?

RIn charged at the tank and tear it apart, then something weird happened. Rin eyes were turning red and his mouth was grooling acids.

"Hey, Rin, are you okay?" As i try to get near, he started to spit acids everywhere. I ducked and ran way from him as far as I can. I ran right next to Anne to provid as much help as I can. Then a ball of acid headed striaght for us but Leon got in the way.

"Oh, Leon! This is not good. I can't play nurse like this!" As I head for Leon, he let out a loud roar which started me alittle but kept going then snarled when I tried to wipe the acid of with a cloth. He then ran for Rin but a police briefly stopped him. The man was just thrown to the side.

"What do think is going to happen?" Sked a very frighten Anne.

"It will be a hybrid showdown of the stuipd ones." I saw the expression on her face, "I was kidding, but it will be a nasty fight."

Maybe I could stop them. I let go of Anne and ran to the guys even with the screaming of the others behind me.

"Anne! Luna!" I hid them along with Micky in an abandoned bomb shelter, partially burned. "We'll be safe here. Anne, you okay?" I made sure everyone was okay, especialy Anne. Wouldn't want Rin go all primal on me. "Yeah, I'm fine, Ishy." Anne replied, then pressed a button on her headphone. "Leon. Are you okay? I repeat, are you okay?" She then threw the headphones, and Leon's roar shattered it. "Luna, Micky, you both okay?" I then asked the two, and looked out the window. It was epic, if not dangerous beyond measure. Rin against Leon. The King Of the Jungle battling The Real-Life Draco. Acid everywhere, glass-shattering roars heard in every corner.

Anne then came close to me, and held my paw. "Your hand reminds me of my teddy."
"Thanks, I think...."
"It's a compliment."
She reminded me of a friend. Anyway, the two waged war against each other, but Rin seems like he's stopping himself. It's as if he doesn't want to fight. But he doesn't seem to be backing down.

Before I could get to them, Ishuta had pulles us to an abandon bomb shelter. I wish I could help them but I was pretty weak, in the stength catagory.

Anne threw her headphone on the floor. All of the headphones were distroyed when Leon roared so it was no use to try to talk to them.

"Luna, Micky, you both okay?" Ishuta had asked us.

"I am just fine." I really wasn't my left ear was fading in and out so I couldn't use my keen hearing to see what was happening around me. I could barely hear the loud noise from outside.

I crouch in a corner and tried not to use my ears so it can heal. I still wished that those stupid head could stop fight like a bunch of babies but I couldn't stop them at this state.

"How do you think we can stop them?" I asked from the far corner.

Rin

I still can't control my body. In me, Komodo was winning. All that I saw was memories. I couldn't move, or anything. All I saw was all the occasions in my mind. But I can feel what Komodo feels. I was slammed into something, probably a wall, since it would've been knocked over. Then my face felt numb, as if being punched all over. I felt numb all over my body anyway. All the images I saw were my friends and family. Anne, Mom, Dad, Micky, Luna, Jake and Leon. I wanted them to be alright. To be safe. Then I felt the ground under me. The heat in my face, and my body shrinking. I was turning back to normal. When I opened my eyes, I saw a black sky being colored a crimson red due to the fires. I was back. Although I couldn't see Leon anywhere. A slim silhouette was the next thing I saw. "Anne?" I was still weak then, so I didn't actually see who it was. I tried to smile, but I still felt weak inside.

Leon approached Rin. They both growled at each other, taunting the other hybrid.

Finally, they collided with each other, fangs and claws slashing and biting. Rin had the upperhand. With one swipe of his tail, he tripped Leon, and pounced on him. He hissed, little saliva droplets oozing out. He began to slash at him with his claws, and Leon appeared beat.

Leon's mind was coming back to its original state.

Where? Where am I- Ahhh!

Rin had just mercilessly punched him again. Leon retaliated by kicking him over his head with his legs. The blow left bloody claw marks on Rin's stomach. Leon got up, seeping blood. He roared, challenging the still recovering Rin.

He charged, knocking Rin into a wall. He then began to brutally slash him with his claws. Blood was everywhere. Finally, Leon bit him on the shoulder, tearing the muscle and veins. Rin slowly fell to the ground. Leon's vision was fading. He collaspsed on the ground. Both combatanants were slowly, but surely, turning back to their human forms, all the while losing their primal instinct. Strangley enough, as they changed, their wounds were starting to healas they reverted back to human form.

As I saw the two fall to the ground, I went out and checked on them if anyone's hurt. "You okay?" Just then, Anne checked if Rin had any injuries or anything. "Good. You're okay!! Yay!!!" She shouted as she held on to her brother tightly as if it's been years. "Come on, Leon. Up you go." I helped Leon to stand up and carried him to the bomb shelter. "There, rest while I help Rin out." I've laid him on the hammock carefully, then ran out to help Rin.

As we waited for a minute, a scilence fell ovr the whole area, even outside. I stood up first and looked out the window. I saw a fainted, human Leon on the floor and an equal fainted and human Rin.

"I think it is over." I told the others and went out to check out the damage. I saw That both were bleeding pretty bad but not life-threating.

Anne came up with a First Aid Kit, which I didn't know how she got it, and tarted to wrap Leon's wounds because they were bleediing wroser than Rin's. After wraping his stomach, chest and head, I when to treat Rin's wounds. He was riped pretty bad. His shoulder and chest was bleeding and so was the top of his head. Maybe, because he was in full control of the lizard inside, he was not totally injuryed. After wrapping, he started to open his eyes and call out "Anne." Anne was by me so she when and "Good. You're okay!! Yay!!!" She shouted as she held on to Rin tightly.

After getting Anne off, I lifted him up to a sitting postion.

"Still, are you okay?" I couldn't get the answer when I heared a groun from Leon who was in the hammcock Ishuta put him in, "Sorry must help him too." I left him there and helped Leon as well.

"Are you okay, Leon? How many fingers am I holding up?" I hold up four fingers.

Leon stirred as a voice called to him.

"Are you okay, Leon? How mant fingers am I holding up?"

He opened his eyes slowly, and gazed at Luna.

Shaking his head with embarassment, he answered her question.

'Fo....four. Wh...what happened. All I remember..." He winced with pain as he tries to move his arm.

"All I remeber is...a burning pain...and my mind...went blank."

Reality snappewd in him like a whip. " Luna, are you okay!? Anne, Ishuata, Jake, and Rin, are they ok!?" He quieted down, as the exertion had pained him.

He noticed his bandages.

"Whoever put these on, I owe em.", Leon murmered,

Rin

Although I was bleeding, I felt fine for some reason. I then walked slowly to the shelter, although my legs hurt badly. Still, I made it to there, and sat down on a corner, thiking about what I saw in my mind, and what I've done. 'What have I done? My goal was to save the world to suffer my fate, and I've detroyed a neighbourhood out of rage. I'll try to control Komodo, or leave the gang to live alone.' "At least I can't hurt anyone else." I said to myself, and slept on the floor.

((This next text will be in Rin's dream.))
"Rin....you okay?" A voice then caught my attention. Luna's to be precise. "Don't ever leave us. We need you on this team. Anne needs a brother to look out for her, and most of all, you're probably the one who started this fight. So if you leave, there's no point of continuing this crusade." Luna then sat close to me, and used my shoulder as her pillow as the sky lit up with millions of stars.

"She's right, man. If you leave, then no one's gonna protect us from the government and save your parents." Micky then came up to us and laid down on the grass, then followed Jake. "You were the one who gave us a chance to take them down. Do you want that to vanish? And let Area 67 turn all the innocent people into hybrids?" He then said and joined us to gaze at the stars. "Thanks guys. You all are right, but I have that monster in me that nearly destroyed millions of lives. I don't want that to happen again." I replied to them, feeling guilty about myself.

"So? Having that monster doesn't make you one. It's how you release it that defines you." Dad, appearing out of nowhere with Ishuta and Anne, tried to encourage me. "That's what having pwer is all about, son." He continued.

"Dude, wake up. You're gonna get yourself a bad infection if you lie down there." I said then helped Rin up to another hammock. "There, you okay?" Anne then checked on his brother, looking worried. "Is he still alive, Ishy?" She asked while hugging my left paw. "Yeah, he's fine. And I'm starting to lose feeling in my paw. Let go, if you mind....." I replied.
"Oh, sorry." She then loosened her grip, but still hugging it. "Thank god. He's the only family member I can count on right now...." She seemed in deep thought after that last sentence, still holing my paw.

Even with my ears bad, I can still hear Leon murmer, "Whoever put these on, I owe em."

"Well", I hold out an open palm, "I think 10 bucks or maybe 50 will do. Do you know how much I had to go through because you all had to had that fight? Very kiddy I say."

I took out the Aid Kit Anne got and unwrapped the bandages. There were baby scatches left but there was dry blood everywhere. I took out a moist wipe pad and handed it to Leon, "Why don't you wipe up the dry blood or you to weak to do it?"

After Anne and Ishuta left, I thought about that dream I had. Maybe they're right. I wasn't sure what to think then. What happened outside, and what Luna said in that dream. Maybe I'm finally falling apart. This has never happened before, Komodo going nuts, and I can't kill anyone. Anyone, especially my friends. "Rin?"
"Oh, hi Anne. So how's Leon?"
"He's fine, bro. And I'm glad you're back to normal." She said, then followed by a hug. "I thought you lost it...." She then started crying at my shoulder. 'Me too.' She was right. I nearly lost my sanity there trying to protect them. "Don't worry. It's over." I then patted her back.

"Ouch, I guess I do owe you 50. You did patch me up."

Luna handed him a moist wipe pad.

"Why don't you wipe up the dry blood or are you to weak to do it?"

Leon started to wipe up the blood, then told Luna," I'm really sorry for what happened and having to patch us up."
With his good arm, he dug into his pocket, and pulled out a $10 bill.

'Not much, but..." He handed it to her.

"She likes Leon, huh? At least Luna's happy with him." I told myself as I watched from the window. 'Guess that dream was kind of a lie then. But as Dad said, if you love a woman, you'll let her decide her fate.' I tried not to shed a tear, but that's that. I can't control her like some toy. She's special to me. So I tried to smile, but those thoughts of me and her clouded my mind. I couldn't make her life work for me. I went back to the hammock, disappointed yet glad at the same time. 'Take care of her, Leon.'

"Dude I was just joking." I gave back his 10 bucks, "What is the point of learning First Aid and taking the dumb test without using it?"

I remebered about Rin, "I have to fix Rin's wounds, now, okay?" I turned and walked to Rin that seemed very upset.

I put down the kit and put the back of my hand on his head which startled him, "Hey, are you okay? Are you getting sick?" I put my hand on his cheek but they were both normal.

"I need to take off your bandages and you need to clean up, so could you sit up?" I open the First Aid and took out a wipe pad. I took off the bandages and saw that they were healed as well but with that dry blood in more places than Leon's.

"You heal faster than Leon. I bet it was the lizard that helped you not bleed to death. You two were very dumb to fight in the steet like that, but", I took off the last of the bandages, "I know that you tried to stop and you would never mean to hurt anyone, not even us." I smiled at the lizard dragon.

"Here's the wipe, lizard-boy." I handed him the wipe.

"Thanks, Luna." I thanked her as I took the cloth, and wiped my dry wounds. I smiled at her, trying to say that she's lucky to have Leon by her side, but I felt kind of scared, for some reason. But I asked her if my hunch was correct. "Just wondering, do you have a crush on Leon? I won't tell anyone so don't worry about anyone else knowing it, if it's true." I then braced myself for a major turn-down, and one of the happiest moment of my life. 'Luna, I don't mind if you like Leon, so whatever you say, I'm cool with it.' I wish I actually told her that.

"Rin, I think of Leon as a friend and I don't know him so much to have those kinds of feels for him. In the future, I might or might not, but I can't think of that when one of our friends is in danger. I think you ARE sick." I checked his head again and it was fine.

"Anyway", I grabbed the First Aid Kit an put it on this burned table, "I have someone in mind, already.

Leon slept peacefully in his hammock.

He drowzily opened his eyes, and was met with the darkness of the warehouse.
He stumbled out of his hammock and looked out the dirty window. There was no sign of the police officers.

We must've scared them off.

He looked at the sky, turning lighter as morning grew nearer. He took this time to sort out his thoughts.

I was such an idiot! I shouldn't have fought Rin. Whats become of me!

His thoughts changed to Luna.

I like her but...does she like me back.

He continued looking out the window.

"Huh?" I was sure she actually liked Leon, but as Luna said, there's still tommorow. I don't actually mind just being friends with her. Love sometimes ruins relationships with friends. And Luna's a great friend. Sweet, reliable, and caring. Guess I've fallen for her spell. But I'll let her decide who she'll spend her time with, no matter who. And I've got my choice too. I might even meet someone else.

"Hi Rin. Luna's busy with Leon, so I'll do First Aid on you, okay?" Anne came to me, with a First Aid Kit. "She said you're ill real bad. Say aaahhhhh....." I opened my mouth, and she nearly jammed a thermometer into my throat. "Agh-ahh......Whatcha doing?! Adding Komodo Dragons to the endangered list?!"
"They already are, Rin. Sorry, I just wanted you to be fine, that's all."

"Jamming mercury to my throat's not exactly making me better."
She smiled a little, and sat near me. "You think Mom and Dad are okay? I've been getting ideas of them being......"
I was worried of her, and our parents. "Don't think like that. You've heard of the devil's word, right?"
"Wha?"
"You know, saying something bad happening to your loved ones, and the devil who hears it makes that happen, like a corrupted wish."
I felt safe with her, and a little glad too. Anne was with me my whole life. We've been through many adventures, and mishaps. "Remember that time where you ruined that junior prom by accidentally putting pepper in the punch?"
"Yeah, it was an accident, I swear."
"Right, whatever you say." I stroked her hair, and she layed down in the hammock with me. "I miss them too, Anne." 'And Heekaru. She was my all until this, and until Luna.'

"Hey Leon? I need to check you one more time!" I walk to Leon. I checked again and he was all healed. That is what you get for being part animal.

Then a thought popped in my head, "Hey, I think there is a costume party today!"

Luna walked up to Leon and checked him one more time. He was officially ok.

"Hey, I think there is a costume party today!" She dug in her pocket and brought out an invitation, and read it out loud.

"Wow, that seems fun. We'd definetly win!" Leon grinned for the first time that day.

"Okay I will go now." I left Leon and went in to tell Rin and Anne.

After reading out loud, "I think it would be good for our stress. We can't go to find Jake if we distroy every town we go to." I was trying to let them say yes because it would be good for us and we would denifanly win first place.

IC: My mind was blank. I hardly noticed what was going on, except the egging voice for total obedience, and the flapping of my powerful wings (They had gotten that way after flying around for so long trying to find the other hybrids...). My obedient half was keeping my conciousness down, while it was on its search-and-capture mission. I could hardly fihgt it, especially after being trapped in that net and constantly being beaten down by my other half. It was, painful...

I suddenly was able to see, though everything was now red, and hazy-looking. I felt, and saw, my head swivel, looking for my friends, though I don't think they would remain that way after I found them. *Sigh* How did I ever come to this point in my life?

\I felt my nostrils flare, detecting a fresh scent: at the edge of a forest, leading to a city. Even if I couldn't control my body, I still took stock of my surroundings.

The city was absolutely decimated around a set area. tanks, light posts, even asphalt lay strewn across the landscape, not to mention the wounded and corpses laying higgedly-piggedly on this rubble. Blood was streaked across the battleground, adding to the foreboding feeling I got from this place.

People helping the wounded looked up at me and screamed. I felt myself begin a descent, then land in front of the pitifully frightened humans.

"Where were the culprits of this last seen?" I heard myself ask the humans. They just pointed down an abandoned street. "S-somewhere d-down that-t street!" One of them cried.

"Please, don't hurt us!" One cried out suddenly, showing how fearful these people are.

I felt a smile creep on my face. "Don't worry, I won't." My evil half said. "What you see before you is a sort of new police force, designed specifically in the capture of rebel hybrids. Thank you for the info. I'll be on my way." I felt my wings open, and my other half gave a powerfull heave with my legs, sending me flying into the air.

The people below no longer looked afraid; on the contrary, they applauded my passing. "Yeah, you show those damn beasts what fer!' one cried loudly.

I finally began another descent, but not as quickly as last time. My other half sniffed the putrid air, then, in satisfaction, began going towards a derilict building. He extended my legs below me and braced for impact.

I slammed through the roof, landing o the wooded floor, which was by now a crater. I subconsciously looked around, and saw my friends all beat up.

NO! I yelled to my other half. I won't allow this!

My evil self slammed my consciousness down again. AND STAY DOWN! I heard him say to me. Then he looked at my friends, and just laughed wickedly.

"Finally, I've got you!"
