Drapion (♂)
Ability: Sniper

Well Drapion, let's start with Toxic Spikes. Then use Roar the next turn if Toxic Spikes succeeds, otherwise use Poison Jab. If your opponent happens to Protect or Detect, use Swords Dance instead of any attack I commanded. If you're Taunted, always use Cross Poison!

Ok, here is what you are going to do. First action, use earthquake! For the second action, Drapion is going to roar. So dig a hole about 30 feet under to hide in and cover your ears. Stay underground for the entire second action.

[B]Earthquake ~ Dig

Round One

Drapion winced as he stepped on the jagged pebbles scattered round the island, but his pain was brief and soon he would ensure that any future opponent of his would suffer far worse. He lifted his massive, braid-like arms and swung them back and forth, scattering glowing purple spikes to the air. Berenstien the Ursaring grunted with surprise and dodged to the side of the barrage, watching with some nervousness as the poisonous spikes layered in with the grass. Berenstien would have to watch his paws.
[Toxic Spikes: Drapion, -3% Energy]

Berenstien gave a rumbling growl. First the rocks, now these spikes? These arena effects were no way for an honest Pokemon to fight! He stomped on the ground, sending ripples across the rock that slammed into Drapion like an earthen wall. The purple scorpion was thrown back, landing hard on the stony ground. He stood up and brushed himself off clumsily with his pincers and glared at his ursine opponent. He would be glad to be rid of this bear.
[Earthquake: Drapion, -15% HP; Berenstien, -14% Energy]

However, Berenstien was going to be sure to stay around. He began to claw great scoops of dirt, digging a wide hole to hide in. Within seconds his body was out of sight and all that was left of him was a deep shaft of a hole that struck deep into the floating island. Deep within the island's secret heart, Berenstien covered his tiny ears, bracing himself for Drapion's next attack.
[Dig: Berenstien, -11% Energy]

Drapion was rather disappointed - he supposed his opponent was gone, in a way, but it just wasn't the same. He decided to try his attack, however - it might still work, and none of his other attacks fit the situation at hand anyway. So he scuttled over to the hole, poked his face in, and let out the most ferocious roar he possibly could. Deep within his hole, Berenstien covered his ears and cowered like a tiny Teddiursa, but he didn't flee to his Pokeball, because really how could he? With a huff of annoyance, Drapion retreated while Berenstein climbed slowly out of his hole.
[Roar: Drapion, -5% Energy]

Don't worry, Drapion. You're not going to repeat the same mistake. You can just use Whirlwind (but I wonder how) to return the big bear to the ball instead of roaring another useless voice. :)
Then use Venoshock to whoever comes out to deliver the true pain of poison.

Round Two

Berenstien watched his opponent carefully, waiting for any sign that he was going to make another move to let out another terrifying roar. When that wasn’t evident, the Ursaring smirked and crossed his claws in front of his chest. With fluid movements (which were surprising for something of his bulk), Berenstien preformed a tribal-like dance, falling to rest in a fighting stance. He let out a challenging roar as he felt his power heightened by whatever deity seemed impressed by his display.

[Berenstien: -3 Energy, +2 ATK]

Drapion seemed unimpressed by the display. The Ursaring had obviously been waiting for another vicious roar to rock the battleground. He wasn’t going to become so predictable. With a smirk, he flicked his arms from side to side, opening his mouth. With a vicious hiss, he let out a sharp breath. The force of the air caused a small tornado to be kicked up in front of him. Berenstien’s eyes widened as the Whirlwind drew closer and closer to him before finally flinging him from the edge of the arena. He was caught safely by his trainer, before another pokeball was ripped from Eishiba’s belt, releasing the Pokémon instantly.

[Drapion: -5 Energy| Blaziken was dragged out!]

TCC looked around quickly as he suddenly appeared on the field. He winced sharply as the stones around him dug into his body, stumbling slightly. Something pricked his foot and dizziness accompanied the pain quickly. The fighting bird groaned but slowly righted himself, watching as his opponent readied his next attack.

[Blaziken: -13 HP, PSN]

Drapion smirked as he watched his new opponent stumble to the field. Letting out a cackling cry, he ran forward, the pincers on the end of his arms glowing a bright purple. With a loud SMACK, the attack collided with TCC, sending the Blaziken skidding back a few feet. He managed to keep his footing, but found himself shaking from the effect of the attack.

[Drapion: -5 Energy| Blaziken: -18 HP]

(Rolled 1-4, with 1 causing crit. Result was 2. Critical hit rolled a 2832, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit. Accuracy rolled a 24 where rolling more than 100 resulted in this action missing the target.)

Blaziken tried to shake himself off, and felt the burning sensation of the poison course through his veins. He was going to need to think of something quick….

Ah nice~
Drapion, don't move. Just watch what the delicious chicken is going to do. If he tries to shake the ground, you should jump high on top of the chicken, use your arms and tail to make your jump higher, then use Cross Poison right on his head. If the chicken is trying to perform any fighting attack to you, use your arms to grab his arms (or leg if he's kicking) then throw him on the ground and use Earthquake immediately. If the chicken is not attacking you and is still on the arena or if he is also waiting for you to move or none of the above happen, then use Rock Slide. If he's underground, just use Earthquake.
Keep doing this the second round.

Round 3

Drapion growled as he began to set up for another round. Glancing around at some of the floating stones, the scorpion Pokémon smirked. Using his brute strength, he hefted several into his arms. With enormous speed and accuracy, he launched them at TCC, hitting the fighting chicken with great force. The fighting type winced inwardly, shaking himself off after the blow.

Accuracy rolled a 74 where rolling more than 90 resulted in this action missing the target.

TCC took a deep breath after he recovered from the sharp sting of the rocks. Planting his feet, he readied himself to give the scorpion a taste of its own medicine. With a smirk, the Blaziken let out a deafening roar, matching the volume of Drapion’s. The scorpion felt his body go cold and he retreated back towards his trainer, being engulfed by a red light. Round 4

TCC observed the small larva Pokémon with a smirk, cracking his knuckles loudly as he did so. Nodding at his trainer’s orders, he swiped his claws against each other quickly. He dragged the claws of his feet along the ground with a screech, chuckling as he got into a fighting position. He was poised and ready to do some damage.
[TCC: -4 Energy, +1 ATK, +1 ACC]

Larvesta ignored TCCs bump of stats, and instead concentrated on his own orders. He began to run circles around the fighting type Pokémon, gradually getting faster and faster until he was simply a blur. When he stopped moving, two more Larvesta stared at TCC, the three of them letting out a content “humph”.
[Larvesta: -6 Energy, 2 Clones]

TCC growled at the clones as they appeared, his eyes darting between the three bug Pokémon standing in front of him. Finally, his eyes rested on one and he charged. When he was several feet away, the Blaziken jumped into the air, letting out a battle cry as he stretched out one of his deadly legs. He hit the Larvesta square in the head, but simply went through, his leg buckling against the ground as the clone disappeared. Before the poor Fighting type could react, he felt a sharp pain at the edge of his consciousness. He let out a roar of pain as he was thrown into the rocks, slumping to the ground as his body shook.
[TCC: -8 Energy, -25 HP, Hi Jump Kick (CRITICAL) MISSED]

[Larvesta: -22 Energy| TCC: -25 HP (CRITICAL), -1 SPDEF,]

(Hi Jump Kick: Clone roll was 2, where 1 resulted in hitting Larvesta and 2 and 3 resulted in hitting a clone. Critical hit roll was 1. Accuracy rolled a 79 where rolling more than 120 resulted in this action missing the target.)

(Psychic: Critical hit rolled 1. Accuracy rolled a 27 where rolling more than 100 resulted in this action missing the target. Effect: Rolled from 1 to 10. Result was 1.)

TCC groaned as he tried to push himself to his feet. He felt the poison overtake his body again. That combined with his impact with the rocks was enough to overcome him, and he simply fell to the ground again, unable to move.

Berenstien winced as he appeared on the battlefield again. He was glad that his opponent was no longer the huge Scorpion that had threatened him the first time, but it was still a bug. Who knows what this thing could do to him? He felt a sharp pain in his foot and looked down with a wince. “Oh great…” The toxic spikes glinted in the half-light that was cast over the arena.
[Berenstien: PSN, +1 SPD]

The Ursaring growled and glared at his opponent. His claws glinted before he began to dig into the loose dirt below him that had been kicked up from earlier in the battle. The damp dirt began to take shape and a large Ursaring-shaped doll stood in front of Berenstien. The bear Pokémon smiled at his handy work, letting the doll spring to life and stand in front of him.
[Berenstien: -1 HP, -1 Energy, Sub @ 1%]

Larvesta watched his opponent carefully, hoping that it wouldn’t try anything that would hurt him too much. Closing its small eyes, the larva allowed static energy to form around its body. It rose into the air a few feet, hovering above the ground. His clone did the same, still causing Berenstine to be confused.
[Larvesta: -6 Energy, Immune to Ground-Type Moves for Two Rounds]

Berenstien glared at the bug. He was going to have to think of what he was going to do throughout the battle now. Growling, he slashed his claws together, dancing around in a manner that suggested a battle. He finally fell to rest and smirked, feeling pumped up.
[Berenstien: -3 Energy, +2 ATK]

Larvesta smirked at the bear, offering a small growl of his own. Dark energy gathered around its small body, several purple flames appearing around him. The flames raced towards the bear, but instead of hitting fur and flesh, they hit hard packed dirt. The substitute growled as a deep burn appeared on its chest and arms, baring its teeth.

[B]Round 6

Berenstien growled, stepping past his substitute as he looked at the two Larvesta floating in front of him. An orange aura glowed around him as the growl in his throat grew louder. The poison coursing through his veins fueled his anger and he ran at the larva Pokémon. Berenstien slammed his fists into the larva full force, smirking as his attack hit home. The other Larvesta disappeared in a cloud of smoke, the real one wailing in pain.
[Berenstien: -6 Energy| Larvesta: -40 HP, No clones]

(Critical hit rolled a 9863, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit. Clone rolled from 1-2. Result was 1. Larvesta was hit. Clones Disappear)

Larvesta growled, angered at losing his clones. Now he didn’t have any defense against the bear’s onslaught. Looking down at the ground, he began to dig into it with his little feet. He formed the dirt he dug up into a doll much like Berenstien had done earlier. When he finished, a life sized doll stood in front of him. Using the power bestowed on him by the gods of fire, he used that energy and put it into the doll. The substitute came to live and put itself in front of the real Larvesta.
[Larvesta: -1 HP, -1 Energy, Substitute @ 1%]

Berenstien growled and ran at Larvesta again, his fists clenched as the orange aura appeared again. Larvesta closed his eyes, preparing himself for another blow. It would be the death of him. The substitute jumped in front of the blow, disintegrating into dust as the Ursaring’s fists hit it. Larvesta let out a sigh of relief, looking up at the bear.

Larvesta looked at the substitute in front of Berenstien. Since his was gone, he might as well get rid of the bear’s defense too. Heat built up in Larvesta’s chest before he ran at Berenstien. The Ursaring’s substitute jumped in front of its maker, growling. Larvesta threw his head forward, burning embers flying from white fur around where its mouth should have been. The substitute burned and fell to its knees, crumbling to dust.
[Larvesta: -4 Energy| Berenstien: -Substitute]

Let's see if you can still stay on the field this round, Larvesta. Combine Protect and Morning Sun at the same time! Use the sun to heal yourself as well as a shield to guard the incoming attack.

Stand right in front of Larvesta and use swords dance both times! Make sure Larvesta is in your shadow while your swords dancing so the sun doesn't even reach him!

Larvesta frowned, realising that he was completely open to attack. As far as he was concerned, he had two priorities: preventing his opponent from landing any more hits on him and repairing the damage that was already done. Without hesitation, he began moving towards the first goal by summoning a shield of bright blue energy to protect him from the angry bear he was facing. From behind it, he was much safer and could go about trying to restore his body.

However, Berenstein had other ideas. Soon the bear was standing over Larvesta, as close as he could without walking into the shield, and his massive body had blotted out the bug’s view of the sun. Then the bear started an elaborate dance, ignoring the pain that the poison was causing in his muscles. His blood began pumping faster and his muscles strengthened, dramatically increasing his attack power and the damage he could do to his opponent when he came out from behind his shield.

Meanwhile, Larvesta tried to absorb light from the sun to heal his bloodied and wounded body. Although he did manage to get some, Berenstein’s shadow stopped him getting as much as he would have normally got. Because of this, while he was healed a little, there was still a lot of damage left. As his shield disintegrated, his opponent finished the dance and stretched, his muscles bulging. Larvesta sighed, knowing that one swipe would be all it took to finish him off now. At least he’d managed to stall a round for the poison to do some more damage; Berenstein’s badly concealed grimace couldn’t fool him into thinking that it wasn’t causing the bear at least a little discomfort.

[B]Round 8

Berenstien smirked, knowing the little larva was just about finished. Scratching his claws together, the bear began to glow with a bright yellow aura once more. With a growl that slowly escalated into a roar, Berenstien charged at Larvesta. The fire Pokémon could only watch in horror as the Ursaring brought is mighty paws down on it. Larvesta let out a cry of pain, feeling slightly smashed under the force of the blow. He was surprised to find, however, that he was still able to keep his eyes open. The attack had almost KO’d him, but not quite.
[Berenstien: -6 Energy| Larvesta: -46 HP]
(Critical hit rolled a 5835, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.
Accuracy rolled a 37 where rolling more than 100 resulted in this action missing the target.)

Planning to use his final seconds to bring some lasting pain to the Urasing that towered over him, Larvesta gathered his energy within his chest. The air around him began to heat up, and three sparkling embers appeared, coated in a flickering purple flame. Berenstien growled and tried to move back quickly, but the embers were already rushing at him, burning into the fur on his chest. With a roar of fury, he swiped at the charred fur to try and stem the pain, but it was no use. The burn left him seething in anger, and Berenstien wasn’t going to let that Larvesta get away with it.
[Larvesta: -3 Energy| Berenstien: BRN; -2 ATK]
(Accuracy rolled a 34 where rolling more than 75 resulted in this action missing the target.)

With another nearly earth-shaking roar, Berenstien ran at the small larva. The same energy that had surrounded him before reappeared around his body. Larvesta simply closed his eyes, knowing this was the end. The pain was brief, and the fire Pokémon fell to the ground with a drawn out groan. Perhaps he would be able to defeat this foe later on…when he was stronger.
[Berenstien: -6 Energy| Larvesta: -42 HP]
(Critical hit rolled a 3693, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.
Accuracy rolled a 47 where rolling more than 100 resulted in this action missing the target.)

Berenstien roared in triumph, but was cut short due to the pain that was currently affecting him. The poison coursing through his veins, as well as his charred skin, hurt him a great deal. That Larvesta had really left a mark…
[Berenstien: -7 HP]

Fox had no choice but to send out his previously used Pokemon, seeing as the scorpion had already seen battle. With a flourish, he threw Drapion's pokeball into the air and released the poison beast. This battle was far from over.

Drapion was sent out!

Condition: Time to deal some good damage.

Drapion glared at his opponent, letting out a soft hiss as the bear smirked. He knew that Berenstien was very capable of dealing damage, and he didn’t want to be on the receiving end of his attacks for the entire round. Scraping the ground with his feet, Drapion kicked up dirt. Using a combination of that and his saliva, he formed a doll that was almost his identical twin. However, it wasn’t much use if it was just standing still. Closing his eyes, Drapion lent a small bit of energy to the still mass of dirt and spit. With a shiver, it sprang to life, blinking its eyes and getting into a defensive stance in front of its maker.
[Drapion: -1 HP, -1 Energy; Sub @ 1%]

Berenstien snarled at the sight of the doll and slashed his claws against each other. There was no way it could stand up to his power and he could get through it easily! The familiar yellow glow enveloped his body once more as he launched himself at the scorpion Pokémon. The doll saw him coming and in an instant, jumped in front of Drapion. The doll crumbled from the force of the blow, leaving the Drapion wide open to any attack.
[Berenstien: -6 Energy| Drapion: Sub Destroyed]
(Critical hit rolled a 4280, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.)

Berenstien saw that his opponent made no move to attack him, and smirked. The energy around him grew brighter as he slammed his fist forward. Drapion let out a screech of pain as he was thrown backwards. His body skidded along the ground for a moment, leaving a long dent where his body dragged through the dirt. He groaned, knowing that attack wasn’t supposed to hurt that much. He huffed before he flipped himself back onto his feet. His purple body was stinging, but he wasn’t quite finished.
[Berenstien: -6 HP| Drapion: - HP]
(Critical hit rolled a 166, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.)

The scorpion raced forward, his four legs closing the distance between him and Berenstien in a flash. His claws glowed a bright purple color and a sick smirk appeared on his face. Berenstien was hit full force by the blow and let out a roar of pain. The poison in his veins burned like fire and he moved away from the scorpion as quickly as he could. That hurt…
[Drapion: -5 Energy| Berenstien: -12 HP]
(Critical hit rolled a 2284, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.)

The burn on Berenstien’s chest throbbed once more as the poison worked its way further into his bloodstream. He growled in annoyance, knowing that these status ailments could be the end of him sooner or later.
[Berenstien: -7 HP]

Round Start

Drapion was hurting...BAD. He knew he had to avoid the damage Berenstein was going to throw at him, and was relieved as his trainer ordered a combo that would negate some, if not all, of that damage. Closing his eyes, he allowed a green-ish sphere to form around his body. His feet began to scrape at the dirt and he began to dig a hole, keeping the sphere around him as he did so.
[Drapion: -8 NRG. Protect]

Berenstein snarled and ran at the slowly disappearing Drapion. With as much strength as he could muster, he slammed his paw down onto the sphere. It shuddered, but didn’t give way, and the bear was left fuming with a rather sore paw.
[Berenstein: Facade FAILED, -6 NRG]

Berenstein saw the glow of the sphere begin to fade and smirked, bringing both of his paws down this time. Drapion jumped all the way into the hole he had been digging, successfully avoiding the deadly blow. He snickered as he heard the Ursaring roar in rage.
[Berenstein: Facade FAILED, -6 NRG]

Taking his chance, Drapion jumped from his hold and slammed one of his pinsers into Berenstein. The bear was sent stumbling as the blow landed, growling darkly. Things weren’t just going his way this round...
[Drapion: -11 NRG | Berenstein: -8 HP]
Critical hit rolled a 7930, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit. Accuracy rolled a 53 where rolling more than 100 resulted in this action missing the target.

Before Berenstein could recover from the blow, he felt the lingering burn and poison run through is veins. He had to get rid of it fast if he was going to get out of this without fainting...
