Alternate Pokemon Names

Ever look at a Pokemon and think, "I could make a better name than that"? I have, on numerous occasions, and I was wondering if anyone else had. This thread is for others to list pokemon names they've made up and think are better-suited to the Nintendo/Game Freak/Creatures names. (They also make for great nicknames. :cool:)

I never really thought about it that much. I know Nintindo has some stupid names though, just none that I've ever thought of correcting.
Like Beedrill. Yeah, it's a bee and it has drills on it's hands but erm... There's no name there, just kind of a description. I mean, you don't name your pet beagle "Dogpaw" or "Blackfur" now do you?

Not really a name change, but in 7th grade, me and my friends were being stupid and we made a Hyper Studio Pokedex about an evo we made up...Crapbat, evolving from Golbat...look at how CLOSE we were to the actual evo, like we knew there would be one (I'm in 11th grade now...that was 2 years before GS) Anyway, Crapbat was Poison/Flying and used Toilet Paper Wrap and Drop Crap, as well as Poison Fart

jezus... Drop Crap.. If i had a poké that could do that, there wouldn't be a teacher on my school that had to use hairgel.

My brother and I came up with a bunch of alternate/better names for the chump names in R/S the other day...a lot of of 'em are just plain stupid, (lol like renaming Mawile "Scurryback" for no apparent reason :crackup:) so I won't post those, but here's the current list of variants:

Sceptile - Forestroy (original rumored name)

Blaziken - Rooferno (original rumored name)

Sableye - Gemineye (Gemini + "gem in eye" - I'm not sure if this was one of the rumored names, but if it is, then it's a coincidence 'cause I thought this one up myself)

You want better names, take the Japanese ones (http://www.geocities.com/animelee_pokemon/PMgenNames.html). I like them alot better. Still trying to memorize all of them though. :oops:
