Have you ever wanted a better version of pokemon, one you could call your own? Then dream no more, as i take you into a game currently called PP06. PP06 stands for Pokemon Project 2006. This game, who's release date is set for 2006, is mine and another's, and best of all, anyone can join. This is gonna be online too, so thats a great thing. So what exactly is PP06? It's not a remake: its our own version, how i wanted it. We currently need people in the following fields:

Spriter- people to give us sprites from other pokemon games
Programmer- someone to help program (the main creator is one)
designer-someone to make a plot, setting, etc.
Map maker-someone to make maps for the game
sponsor-someone to spread the news and affiliate with us


This project is totally legal, and will NOT be sold for profit. It is just a pc game for people who are interested. Excusemoi, but I have 10 reasons why that was wrong, rude, etc.

1) Not your thread.

2) Although RM is, in fact, a WONDERFUL spriter, others of us are pretty good too.

3) You don't have to listen to 3-9 because they are such good reasons, and so is 10!

10) Shut up. Please go away before a house drops out of the sky and falls on you.





Having said that, I would like to apply for spriter. WOuld you like to see some samples of my work?

Actually this project is illegal. In truth every project on this board is illegal. If Nintendo representatives found this it would be shut down fast. Yo usee the word Pokemon is copyrigthed and cannot hbe used without permission, as are images and names of all Pokemon. most things on forums(banners, avatars) break copyright laws. This is true. We break lots of them here. But no one really cares so whatever.

Actually, you are wrong. It is not illegal unless we try to sell this game and make an actual profit. We are doing thin because we want an awesome game.

What language are we using for programming? I may be able to help with that.

Oh, and I'm one of the best spriters out there. :oops:

UPDATE: The demo will be done by the end of February 2006. It will include many features, including some gameplay to show the battle/EXP system, lots of screenshots, sidequests, and more. Now is the perfect time to join Pokemon Project 2006. Counting both forums, we have almost 80 indivual members. We continue to grow each day, and we hope you will join. The two URLs are:

We already have all Pokemon sprites, including some GSC revamps if neccesary. We also have all game maps, including revamped JOHTO!!!! In addition, we have all trainers, objects, etc. Basically, this game is ready to be made. We expect it to be finished within 3-5 months. Peace out.

Really it isn't illegal unlse you say you've Registered, copyrighted, etc. or if you try to sell it. If it's just a fan game I believe it's Ok, as long as he doesn't say he copyrighted or sell it I think pokemon won't have him arrested.

No offense, Master Z, but you came to the WRONG forum if you're looking for serious help. We've got 10-14 year olds who can't read important threads that tell them how to participate in games they have no part of developing. I hate to say it, but you should go read around the forum first and find specific people who you find would be worth having on your development team. We have a few responsible and talented people here, but on the whole, the members of PE2k are very inconsistent, immature, and forgetful.

I would say I'd like to join your development team, but I can't be sure for how long I'd be able to help. I'm currently checking out your website, and I think I might be able to help. I joined and my username is "kholdstaire"

I'm looknig at the fotrum and it looks liek it will never get off the ground.

Very little of what is being suggested is actually being taken into consideration. And so far there are almost no images. I can see this turnig out to be crap easily.

UPDATE: We have almost perfected the battle/EXP systems. The demo will be done MARCH-APRIL 2006. Sorry for the delay, but this demo will be awesome. Peace out.

I'm not really a forums person, so i wont reply 2 much stuff. But the original reason for this reply: I got some region designs, town designs and spritesheets from last year's project, POkemon Jadeif u want them.

Ps seriously u shouldnt make this online cos then therel be no plot story etc.
