Ok. I think it was Marco that made an interesting point (correct if I'm wrong) that I would like to bring up. He asked if he could be a twosome with the leader of Olivine. Now, since we copy gyms and rules from GBA games (ex. mons and TMs), that why not take the amount of leaders per gym. Here are a couple of choices I think you might respond quite well to:

1. Real Gyms, Real Leaders - The gyms that have two people in them (I can't remember, but I think it was just one), there could be a twosome.

2. Acceptors Only- When someone wants to be a leader with someone else, they have to ask the current leader, if the leader says yes, than they could officially be a twosome, if no, than the leader stays by him/herself.

After reading, I kinda thought that they were kinda funky ideas (or kinda silly). Let's see what you have to say. ^_^

Hold on, I don't quite understand this...

Would it just be the Mossdeep Gym where two people would be the leaders or would it be for all gyms?

Nah, that was another person, but he didn't have the requirements to be the leader yet.

I read it, and I thought it was a good idea. But, it should be up to the leader.

How do you mean this? If a Gym has two leaders, you have to beat both to get the badge? And if not, then what if there's big gap in skill between the two leaders?

I'd say no. We don't even have enough members to fill up the Gyms with single competent Gym Leaders, let alone competent twosomes.

yeah sounds like a bad idea...im all up for gym trainers though..it would give newer players a chance to improve their skills and pocketbooks without having to live up to the gym leader position...

No.......for the gyms that have two leaders, since they can make the rules, it could be Double Battles.

yeah but how often would both of them be on at the same time? it would really create a scheduling nightmare...

Remember, the leader can choose on if he wants it or not. Its not manditory or anything...

Still, you'd also have to find a ref able at the time. There already is a lack of refs, and as one of the most active ones, I have to say I wouldn't like to ref it.

Even though this is something done in the game, I don't think it'd fit well with the URPG. Like people said earlier, they wouldn't be on at the same time very often. Instead of an instant challenge, there'd probably have to be an appointment where everyone can meet at the same time, and who knows when that'd be. I'd say yes to a double battle with one gym leader (not sure if that's already the rules for that gym) but not with two gym leaders.

About the schedule thing, we could have it where the leader can have a pat-time or full-time leader. And if they are not together, than you fight one.

Well, then it wouldn't really be much of double battling, would it?

The mosdeep gym in the URPG is just a 2v2 battle... there is no double leader... the leader, it was me, I haven't reclaimed it yet, uses two mon at the same time, as do you. No need for two leaders.

URPG is fine the way it is, why complicating it? :\

I'd say no...

Yeah. The ideas okay but not that great. It would complicate things.

Ok. Well, from all that have wanted to vote and express there opinion, I would say that from the results, the leader rules will continue to stay the same. But, I am not sure if I am allowed to close this case, but the results says it all. ^_^

Yeah, the voting says it all.

you forgot to lock it.

there is nothing wrong with the gym system the way it is. having two gym leaders would be too complicated and we're all about simplicity here.
