An idea most forums or sites have is to bring members in. It works and members join but how often do they stay.
In this Member Referal Contest, anyone may participate. The goal is to refer a member to join the URPG. Sounds simple? The trick is, this member must stay for at least a full month before you get any reward.
Guidelines
The member you refer must post in this thread the person who refered them and the day they join the URPG.
The new member must stay active for a full month.
Once the member has stayed for a month, either the new member or the refering member may post saying the month is up. Then someone will reply, comfirm the post, and hand out prizes for both the new member and the referer.
You can't refer anyone that has previously joined the URPG. These must be solid, new members.
You can refer any amount of people as you want. You can refer from this forum and from another. You can refer your friend or sibling or maybe a parent. :surp:
Even if the new member stays the full month, but were not active at all, we may require a longer stay.
Any cheating can be caught.
Contest
Here's the actual contest part of Member Refering. Every two months, whomever has the highest successful referals (meaning their new member stayed the full month) recieve a prize. The prize is unknown right now because I need to see how well this works.
Also, whoever is the highest referer of all time, they get their name put in the Records. Worth playing for?
Prizes
Passing 1 Month--Both the new member and the person whom refered him/her receive $1,000.
Highest Referer--Unknown as of now.
