I dunno.. I think you can because it's possible to play mult player in rs and also in fg so it should be... I mean they both have it, and in the past no games have had it so I think they should be able to now...

No, I think contests are only for R/S. Remember, this is a remake with changes,but I heard there are no contests. :wink:

yes, but only after u get national pokedex (that is after defeating elite 4 :sleepy: )

I have finished Fire Red, and there are no Contests in it... You can trade with it, but I have no one to trade with =P Fire Red and Leaf Green is almost an exact copy of the original ones... so there's no contests =P There is a battle tower though, but besides that, =P

There are no contests. There are mini-games however.

You can trade after you defeat the E4 and catch atleast 60 Pokemon.

An amendment here:
You can trade with RS after u defeat the E4 and catch at least 60 different pokemon. (that is, 60 pokedex)
u can trade with FR/LG at the start of your game after u obtained the first pokdex.
