Rate that vaporeon..

Vaporeon
Timid nature
EV's: 60Def 72 Sp.Atk 100 Spd
Moves:
Acid Armor
Substitute
Baton Pass
Surf

Simply set.substitute,acid armor up and then switch to something with a low defense or a double weakness(like Tyranitars) or just surf. Ok for you?

Surely you mean Baton Pass there.

Drop the speed stuff. No real need for that on Vaporeon. I would also recommend to abuse Vaporeons high HP stat. I guess your moveset works, though I haven't ever used that one myself. Here's one I use currently:

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 82 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Roar
- Surf
- Wish

Funny thing. No Sp. Defense EV's, HP works fine there and the stat is 226. Defense is 220 with the nature bonus. Roar is because I don't like to phaze Suicune with Donphan. Ice Beam + Surf for a greater variety then just one of them.

yeah...my bad.i mean baton pass...but...sinc ethe speed ev's are useless...well,i'll use those EV in the special defense&special attack

Funky supporter; Wish-Passing and 112 HP Subs are awesome. 240 defense/226 special defense is also cool.

I guess you could use Haze, Ice Beam or Roar, but I feel that there are too many pokemon that do that job better. Then again, that doesn't say it wouldn't work... Vappy has the capacity to be just as good a bulky water as Milotic, I suppose, trading Recover for Wish and Marvel Scale for Water Absorb, but I prefer to use him as support.

And on that note, your Vappy's moveset (moves; not EVs) are what most Baton Pass Chains use; the ones that take half an hour to setup but generally kill whoever they face if they do get setup.

Your theory is false. What will Water Pulse be use of when Hydro Pump and Surf do more damage? Same with Aurora Beam.

So, if you want to confuse a foe with a Water pokemon, just use Starmie with Surf and Confuse Ray... Besides, his set was obviously for defense and Batonpassing, not power.

Well, let's take a quick look of how Starmie would beat Vaporeon 1on1:

Starmie used ThunderBolt! No paralyziz.
Vaporeon used Water Pulse! No confusion.
Starmie used ThunderBolt!
Vaporeon fainted!

Also, I know when people are being sarcastic, but apparently you don't since I replied to your undeveloped sarcasm with some more intelligent sarcasm which you obviously didn't understand.

Sorry to say but Vaporeon can't learn Mirror Coat by leveling up, by TMs or HMs, by Move Tutors or by Breeding. Please do your research before arguing.

I don't really care what age it's from, that's mainly because I'm not a 13-year-old girl who can't admit that she cheats and fails at inventing Pokemon movesets that don't include cheating. But luckily, you're not the person I'm talking about...:wink:
