vBulletin didn't come with a gender field for profiles, but now I have added that in. It's actually been there for a while now, for recent new members (and all future new members), this is a required field when signing up. However, if you signed up before I added this, then you need to go to your User CP, and then to Edit Profile to select your gender.
The reason I waited this long to annouce this is because I wasn't able to figure out how to display that in posts (originally, only displayed in the profile), now it's also displayed along with your posts.
So update your profile!

I liked the Proboards's icons better, but words might do the same anyway.
Shouldn't there be a genderless option? Just for the heck of it, heh :P

This makes it easier for people to refer to a person "he" or "she." And it will no longer be necessary for people to ask "are you a guy or girl?"

That new gender field is cool. And, as said in the above post, it is easier to refer others as either "he" or "she". Thanks!

It is pretty helpful, nonetheless. I remember people were really wondering which gender a person is. This certainly makes it pretty clear.
