TMI: Pokemon Articles

Daniella came up with the idea of many different people writing a series of articles on a variety of pokemon topics. Although this was at Revolution, I thought that since it was such a great idea, that we should bring it here to PE2K. Is is very general, thus a lot of people could do several different ideas.

Some examples include:
- What is actually inside a pokeball?
- Why are certain cards powerful?
- Who is Ash's dad?
- A guess into the future of Pearl and Diamond.

I have talked with Ryan and he AGREED to post these articles on his site as long as they are high enough in quality.

This is our chance to add to the site and give PE2K a sense of community. The site will host the articles we wrote and become more than it is because now it holds the ideas that we contributed. You can write on whatever pokemon subject you want and if Ryan likes it, he will post it on the PE2K site.

I think we should go ahead with this idea. Let's start organizing the articles.

Daniella, I am so stupid. I completely forgot that this came entirely from your idea. You are the shining light bulb behind this entire project that started back on Revolution and this old fool forgot to even give you credit! You have my deepest apologies and I hope you can forgive my careless error.

I have edited the main post to show that you were the one that came up with the idea. It is entirely my fault for failing to give you credit in the first place and I sincerely hope that I haven't greatly offended you.

Anyway, since Ryan wants to look through all the articles before posting them on the site, I figure we start out by hosting them on the forum in an organized format. Every article will be given its own thread to tidy things up, but there will also be a main thread that provides links to all the articles and thus access.

As for how they are organized, I figure we start out grouping them all together, then later dividing them by category (television show, card game, movie, gameboy, etc), or by author.

Of course, we'll need articles first, so if you're interested, please feel free to write about whatever you want.

Heh, I'm sure it will be fine. What I read so far was really good.

Announcement, Ryan has officially given me the go-ahead for choosing stories to be added to the site. I'll just need to scrutinize and edit them before they are submitted, but those that I do submit will most likely be on the site. So do your best and maybe one day you'll see your name on PE2K!

Thus why there was a question mark behind it. It was just a suggestion. The suggestion was just a topic of speculation. They may never reveal Ash's father, but there is evidence to support certain people that could be his father. I, personally think that it is either Prof. Oak or Giovanni.

The entire point to these articles is speculation after all.

We may never know exactly how fire pokemon use their attacks or who Ash's dad is, but that's the fun part, we can Try to figure it out.

People enjoy reading these articles because they delve into territory that the series has not dealt with. It's a fun way for us to contribute to the site and way for the members to try and understand the complexities of the pokemon world.
