To make it whole lot easier for refs and battlers should we make a requirement that the subject would be personvs person then it will have a refs name when a ref starts reffing it.

EX.1 Before: Ash vs Brock

Ex. 2 After : Ash vs brock reffed by KingZark

Once a ref starts reffing it then it be easier to identfy who is exactly reffing it then when I go by or any othe ref does he/she know which battles are taken and which aren't.

This will take away the worthless post of "Bump" "Bump for ref".

Umm.. so you want to put labels up so refs remember to ref them...

Refs already are busy enough....

Don't rush them.

I second this. I sometimes forget who I'm reffing.

I agree...it must get confusing.

Speaking of which, my battle vs. Gun6 is waiting to be reffed by you, Zark

Well, I don't think all refs are going to get modding abilities to do that and I know I'm not going to do that. =P I'm lazy. =D

I think it's possible for the creator of the thread to actually change the name. It's a good idea, and it doesn't rush, it just reminds the ref. I sometimes forget too.

Yeah they can. I've done it before.

This sounds like a very good idea, I am all for it.... just one problem....

How?

Overcomplicating things, refs can see what they are reffing by the small line that appears over the small arrow on the left hand side of the thread after you have repelied to that thread. Also most members with sence would just wait for a ref or PM one asking them to ref the battle.

All I do is copy the links of the battles and put them in a word document along with all of my other reffing stuff and put the battler's names above it. Then, whenever I need to ref, I just follow the link everyday and see if it needs reffing. If not, I go onto the next link. After I finish with all of the links, I look to see if there are any threads that need refs. Of course, i don't do it anymore since I'm pretty much done with reffing right now.

When you edit, you click on "Go Advanced" and change the title.
Personally, I find this a good idea because it does get confusing looking at little lines. If I ever become a ref, I'd probably forget I was reffing a battle unless the title said I was.

This sounds great... we could really do it. I might even start refering forum battles then.

It is possible, thus why I added I would be too lazy to add it myself. =P

So are going to make this mandatory that the person who post the first will also have to add the refs name to the thread?

I don't know if you should make it mandatory, but I think we should suggest it atleast.

I am going to from now on, anyway.
