I am fully aware that on this forum, it is not within the rules to revive outdated threads, and i understand that. It keeps things running smoothly.
However, i have been working with games and game development for a long time and sometimes it takes a long time to get an updated. If all the threads with regards to game development are closed, the author of the game has nowhere to post their updates. The only real solution is to create a new thread, and that will drastically add to clutter.
If that made no sense, all i ask is that for the game projects thread only, suspend the "No reviving old threads" rule.

Mods know not to lock threads when they are updated.
Don't worry about it. If people complain, tell them that your just maknig an update. Unless a thread has been locked by a mod, its no problem.

Yeah i know. My thread was locked for Gadjitts because it was "old" and sombody posted in it. I guess i should probably just pm a mod when i want to update, but it just seems sensless to lock and unlock it.

In the future just put in the title: PM before locking.

Sorry about that, the "revive old threads" rule has been revised so that threads created in the Game Projects board are exceptions to the rule. So game creators can "revive" their own thread for updates, since updates can take a long time.
*Thread locked.
