Shanel walked through the door and yawned. It had been a VERY long day at the recording studio. She was behind schedule on recording her newest album and had to do the whole album that day. She locked the door behind her and sat in a soft chair. All Shanel wanted were some peace and quiet.

“Help! Shanel, she’s gonna kill me! EEEEE!”

Unfortunately, that was not, or never would be, for that matter, possible for her. She shared a house with her best friend, Monique, and her other best friend, Hannah. Hannah owned her own tattoo company, and was somewhat successful, and Monique was, well, an idiot. Even still, they all were smart enough, each in their own way, to finish High School early. While Shanel and Hannah were out, Monique was usually up to some kind of mischief at the house.

“I’M GONNA KILL HER! I AM GOING TO MURDER THAT IDIOT!”

Monique ran down the stairs as Hannah chased her in rage, holding a frying pan. The house they lived in was know to the younger kids as The Crazy House, from the loud screams, courtesy of Monique, and the loud death threats, courtesy of Hannah. Something was always happening.

“SHANEL! HELP ME! OW! WAAAAA!”

Hannah had caught Monique and hit her over the head with the frying pan. Monique was wailing, Hannah kept hitting her with the frying pan to make her shut up, not seeing it was making her screams louder, and Shanel had her hands over ears.

“SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU! EVERY DAY I COME HOME TO THIS! YOU IDIOTS ARE 16, AND YOU BOTH ACT LIKE 2 YEAR OLDS! JUST SHUT UP FOR ONCE!” Shanel screamed.

“But she started it!” Monique sniffled and wiped her nose on the sleeve of her big, fluffy sweater.

Shanel growled, then became calm. “What made you want to hit her anyway, Hannah?”

Hannah rolled her eyes. “She tried to give my room a cloud theme, so she painted it over completely over with melted marshmallows and blue food coloring! Then, she ate my stash of candy bars and replaced them with frozen goat cheese! After that, she unraveled the clothes in my closet into a pile of string and sewed them back into a rainbow-colored rug!

“Here.” Shanel had counted out some bills from her wallet as he was talking and gave it to Hannah. “Buy some clothes with that. We have paint in the attic. And don’t worry, I make enough money so that giving you that won’t hurt my budget.” Then she turned to Monique.

“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, YOU MORON?”She yelled.

“I was bored!” Monique whined.

Shanel sighed and stood up as Hannah walked out the door. “Well, it can’t be helped now. Wanna sandwich?” She said, walking into the kitchen.

Monique nodded and stood. “I wanna make it! I wanna!”

Shanel got out the bread and set it on the counter top. She decided to make herself a sandwich too. “Okay! You’re cooking can’t be TOO bad!”

***

About two hours later, Shanel woke up. She and Monique had taken naps after they had eaten their Pastrami and Marshmallow sandwiches, which afterwards, Shanel made a vow to never eat anything Monique made again. Suddenly, she remembered something and looked at the clock. It was 3:32.

“Monique! WAKE UP!” Shanel ran into Monique’s room, yanked her blankets off, making her fall to the floor, and gave her a good kick. “NOW, Monique!”

Monique looked up at Shanel and yawned. “In front of me, little munchkins,” She said, still half dreaming, “Is the wicked witch of the west!”

Shanel screeched and yanked Monique onto her feet by her ears. “Get up! I have three tickets to a ballet, and you are NOT going to make me late! Got it? Now go wake Hannah up! She took a nap as well. I can hear her snoring. Sounds like a freight train.”

Monique walked into Hannah’s room and jumped up and down on her bed. “WAKE UP SLEEPY PANTS!” She screamed, jumping on Hannah’s head. Monique then ran out of Hannah’s room and into her own room. Then, she got out some clothes, and ran into one of the bathrooms to take a shower. She almost was shut out by Hannah, but she got there quicker. Now, there were other showers, but Monique got the big one!

About an hour later, after they all were dressed, Shanel gave out the tickets. Monique saw that the concert started at 6:15, and they all got a free dinner afterward. Hannah turned on the television just before they left to check the news. It seemed that three small comets were going to be landing in the area, and that everyone could watch them go by around 7:00, and that it was a special moment in history, because they were all next to each other, and, as Monique said, “Yak yak, yadda yadda, bleh!” Shanel turned off the TV and they all left for the concert.

Soon, they were there. Shanel had tickets for three seats in the front row, and soon, they were seated. After about five minutes, when everyone was seated, a man stepped on stage and said into his microphone, “To all you people out in the crowd, presenting some lady in a tutu!” Everyone booed as the lady walked on stage in a skimpy tutu, the fat on her body looking strapped in. The three of them then looked at the stage.

After about 20 minutes, there was a loud rumbling sound. The ground was shaking like crazy. Suddenly, a large wormlike creature emerged from the ground. It had wet, red skin and beady black eyes. When it roared, it’s mouth opened wide, showing hundreds of razor sharp teeth. It’s tail was pointed like a sword, and covered with tiny spikes. The whole audience screamed.

Monique heard a man in uniform say into a transistor radio, “Everyone, except the fat ballerina, who we cannot find, has been rushed to safety.”

Out of nowhere, the large, fat, hefty ballerina bounded on the stage and began stabbing the worm creature with microphones, unsuccessfully trying to be a fat, pudgy heroine, not seeing that the monster had hard skin that just broke the microphones. In the blink of an eye, the worm creature ate the porkchop of a woman.

Hannah screamed. “NOOOOOO! That one was my favorite!”

Monique and Spencer went to get her so that they could leave. Suddenly, through the roof of the concert hall, three steaks lit the air. A silver meteor, a red meteor, and a blue meteor. The blue one landed in front of Monique, the silver one in front of Shanel, and the red one in front of Hannah. Their bodies shimmered the same colors as the meteor that landed in front of them, and they each picked their meteor up.

“What the.....” Monique began. Suddenly, the meteors floated up, and each became a light. The silver light floated down and merged with Shanel. Her hair had shiny silver steaks running through it, and it was now completely out of its’ usual braid. The red light floated down and merged with Hannah. Her hair was streaked red and it was now in a stylish bun. The blue light floated down and merged with Monique. Her hair became a blue-black, with no normal black left at all, and it was matted across her face, as if she had been standing under a waterfall.

Hannah looked at Shanel and Monique and gasped. “Wh..wh...what just h..happened?”

Monique shook her head. “How am I supposed to know?”

The worm noticed the bright lights and obviously didn’t like them, because it was slinking towards the three of them with it’s mouth wide open. Shanel screamed. “Eek! The worm thing is slinking towards us with it’s mouth wide open!”

Hannah ran about in circles. “Whadda we do? Someone help us!”

But Monique noticed something the other two didn’t. As Hannah ran about, small embers emitted from her body, but they didn’t stay aflame long enough to hit the floor. At the same time, a cold wind seemed to come from Shanel’s body. Monique wondered what would happen to her. She noticed that each of them was emitting only small things when they weren’t concentrating, so what if they were concentrating?

Monique closed her eyes, crossed her arms in front of herself, and focused. As if from instinct, she found herself shouting.

“METEOR SPRAY!”

As Monique uncrossed her arms and waved them outward, a spray of water hit the monster, putting enough water in it’s eyes to make it’s vision temporarily blurry.

“Hannah! Shanel! Focus on the word, ‘Meteor!’ You’ll know what to say!”

Shanel nodded and stepped up. She raised her hands above her head and shouted.

“METEOR WHIRLWIND!”

A silver wind erupted from Shanel’s body and made the worm creature fly up into the air and hit the wall.

Shanel and Monique said at the same time, “Hannah! NOW! Hurry!”

Hannah shivered as she concentrated. Suddenly, she screamed out shakily, “M-METEOR FL-FLARE!”

Fire shot from her palms, which were now in front of him, facing the worm, hitting the creature in the stomach. It roared once and turned to dust.

Hannah swayed back and forth. Then she fainted.

“Huh? Where am I?” Hannah opened her eyes groggily to find herself in a chair.

Monique smiled. “Good. You’re awake.” She handed Hannah a cup of tea and shook Shanel, who was napping on a couch, awake. “Shanel, she’s awake now.”

Shanel awoke and looked over at Hannah. She grinned as she sipped her own cup of tea. “We both were worried when you weren’t waking up!” She said.

Monique nodded and added, “I even took out the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed your ears!”

Hannah stuck her tongue out, then got serious. “What was that thing, anyway?”

Monique shrugged. “I don’t know, but I don’t think that it was the only one involved. Something made it big. That was an Venomous African Millipede. But, of course, the Venomous African Millipede doesn’t get that big, and it can’t burrow. I also am clueless on how it was even found. It was thought to be extinct!”

Shanel shivered and drank the rest of her tea. “All I know is that none of us are safe until whoever sent the worm thing to get us is dead.”

Monique nodded and looked at the clock. It was 1:52 AM. “We’d better get to sleep.” She said. “We need our rest.”

Hannah and Shanel nodded, and they all went upstairs to go to bed.

***

Monique rubbed her eyes sleepily. It was 8:35. She didn’t know why she felt tired, she had gotten a lot of sleep. She got out of bed and went into her bathroom to brush her teeth. Monique looked in the mirror and took a step back. “Why do I have blue-black hair?” She wondered. Then she remembered.

2 days ago, at the concert. The comets, the worm, the ballerina getting eaten. After she brushed her teeth, she walked out of the bathroom thinking to herself as she smelled smoke downstairs, ‘Dangit, Shanel! Stop burning the waffles!’

Shanel was currently trying to beat out a fire in the kitchen. “Stupid waffles!” She screamed. “Stop burning!”

“METEOR SPRAY!” Monique yelled, hands pointing toward the fire. A spray hit the fire and put it out, but soaked everything else, and broke a few fragile things. “Oops...”

Shanel sighed as she looked around the ruined kitchen. “From now on, I’m sticking to cereal.”

“Um....Shanel?” Monique pointed to the curtains. They were moving, as if there was a semi-strong breeze running through the house.

“Monique? Look.” Shanel pointed to Monique’s pajama’s. They were soaked. Shiny wet footprints came down the stairs and into the kitchen were Monique was standing. Suddenly, the both looked at each other with horror.

“Hannah!”

***

Hannah hit the bed. “BAD FIRE! STOP BURNING NOW! DON’T BURN! BAD!” She shrieked and spit on the bed, as if that would extinguish the flames.

“METEOR SPRAY!” “METEOR WHIRLWIND!”

Monique sent a spray of water at the bed, extinguishing the flames.

“What are we going to do?” Hannah said, the flames popping off her body being blown out by the cool wind coming from Shanel before they hit the ground.

Shanel sighed. “I don’t know, but we need to be able to control our powers.”

Suddenly, all three of them radiated their comet color. Suddenly, their hair color was normal, and there was no sign of their powers at all. The walls were fixed, there were no wet footprints, and Hannah’s bed wasn’t burnt beyond recognition anymore. But, in front of each of them, their comets were changing. Each comet became a pen. The cap of the pen was a white ball with a symbol. Hannah’s was a Phoenix, Shanel’s was a Angel, and Monique’s was a Dolphin.

“Woah...cool.” Hannah said, staring at his pen.

“How do we change back?” Shanel poked around the pen. “There aren’t any buttons, that it assuming that this pen is what changes us back!”

Monique looked straight at the pen. “I think we’ll know how to transform. We instinctively knew how to attack, right?”

Shanel nodded. She pocketed the pen and went to make herself a bowl of cereal. Hannah followed her into the kitchen for breakfast.

Monique went over to the table that was by her bed and took a granola bar off the top. Then, he looked in her Schedule Book, something she liked to keep around so she could remember things.

“10:00 AM.....paint Hannah’s bed Blinding Pink.....12:00 PM.....Lunch at Taco Bell.....1:00 PM.....Ice Skating Competition.....What? Ice Skating Competition?”

Monique had thought that the Ice Skating Competition wasn’t until December, but it was currently October. Of course, Monique would never take the time to sign up for an Ice Skating Competition, but Shanel made her so that, at least for that day, she could have peace.

Shanel called Monique downstairs, breaking her thought process. Monique ran down the stairs and told Shanel, “We’d better hurry for the Ice Skating Competition today!”

Hannah did a double take. “Huh? That isn’t until December, dummy.”

Monique shook his head. “I thought so too, but it’s today.” Monique walked to a cupboard and pulled out a very big jar. It was marked Monique’s Jar, and was filled with cookies, donuts, Teddy Grahams, Jelly Bellys, and just about any other type of sweet treat there was. Monique pulled out 2 Oreos and a blueberry filled donut. She then flopped down on the couch and turned on the television.

“Small reminder, Ice Skating Competition today at the Canary Colosseum! This is TCN, the Tokyo Channel News, signing out!”

Monique stuck her tongue out at Hannah. “Told you so! Ha-Ha! You’re stoooopid, you deserve to rot!”

Shanel sighed. Why did they ever move from Las Vegas? The constant noise from outside in itself was too much, and then there was the added racket from in the house. WHY?

“Just before we get to the rink, I’m stoppin’ for eclairs!” Monique announced, and went upstairs to get into her required uniform for the competition.

***

It was 12:00. All of them were in Monique’s bright orange van, driving towards the nearest bakery to get eclairs.

“YAY! We’re getting sugary stuff!” Monique clapped her hands and pulled up to the drive-thru.

“Yeah, I’d like 20 eclairs, 15 donuts, 6 foot long brownies, and a jumbo 3 foot tall fudge cake. Oops! Almost forgot something!” Monique turned to the other two. “You guys want anything?”

***

Monique stepped out onto the ice rink. The lady before her had done a backflip, a mid-air twirl, and a handstand. And she was F-A-T. So Monique was VERY nervous. She stepped onto the rink and drifted to the center. That was when the ice cracked.

Monique plunged under the water, freezing. She didn’t know what was happening. The water seemed to be getting colder as she got lower and lower. She couldn’t breathe.

Above the surface, people were slipping and sliding. The ice was very wet, too wet. Someone or something had been melting it. Through the air vents, black smoke blew in. That smoke formed the shape of a centaur, and then became one. The centaur had bright red fur, but it had no hair on it’s head. It’s face was full, and it’s eyes glowed like two red coals.

Shanel screamed, and Hannah called out, “Monique! Can you hear me! Where are you?”

“You idiot! She’s probably frozen to death now!” Shanel snapped, her voice breaking. She felt horrible, because she had forced her friend to do this.

Now, you are probably thinking Monique was long dead by now. That was not the case. Monique was almost to the surface, but the ice was still there, and it was thick. The reason Monique was not frozen was because she had wrapped ThermaCare Heat Wraps all over herself, so that she would stay warm during the competition. She had a lot of them on, and they were what was keeping her from freezing. She was currently digging in her pocket for her pen, but could not find it.

Then she remembered, ‘MY BACK POCKET!’ She found her pen and gripped it tightly. Then it slipped from her hand and started to go down. Monique looked down and went under the water to chase it.

Shanel just then noticed the centaur. It was currently chasing people, children, and small sheep. She knew she had to do something, because the plot of this story was going a little slow. She grabbed her pen from her pocket and gripped it tightly. Since her hands were dry, it stayed in her hand. She felt energy surge through her body.

“WIND MORPH!”

Her normal clothes became a silver shirt and faded blue jeans. Her hair became pure silver, her lipstick from red to silver. She wore silver heels, with soft, black socks. But, the biggest change were the huge angel wings that had sprouted from her back. They were enormous, and seemed to be sparkling.

Hannah gripped her own pen, and held it tightly. Her hands felt as if they were aflame, yet she felt compelled to grip the pen, almost liking the burning feeling.

“FIRE MORPH!”

Her clothes became a red and orange striped shirt and jet black jeans. Her hair became completely scarlet, with a smoky gray seeming to be mixed in. Her shoes were black and yellow, with the bottom rubber part being dark gray, and she wore no socks. From her back, were two large wings, with bold red, yellow, and orange feathers. They were phoenix wings, and they beat back and forth, as if trying to beat out a fire in mid air.

Shanel and Hannah were now in the air, staring at the centaur. It jumped in the air and made a loud wailing noise, trying to intimidate them. It wasn’t working. They were fearless.

“Speak for yourself!” Hannah squealed, cowering behind Shanel. “Shanel! Save me! It’s scary!”

Shanel sighed, and raised her hand above her head.

“METEOR WHIRLWIND!”

The centaur leaped in the air, and swiped at Shanel. She dodged, but just barely.

Monique had chased her pen to the bottom of the icy pool, her heat wraps almost out. If they went out, she was dead.

‘Yay!’ Monique thought as she found her pen. She held it above herself and closed her eyes.

“WATER MORPH!”

Her hair now was navy blue and waist-length, and her outfit was replaced with a pale, pink bikini top. No pants would fit, because her legs had turned into a long dolphin tail. Out of the sides of her head came two wings. They were blue and purple, and kind of resembled bat wings.

Monique now knew that the ice had frozen up again, and that she had no way to get out. So she looked around and spotted a pipe. “Plumbing,” she thought, and swam into the pipe. She was grateful that the insides of the pipe were smooth, and the water clean, because she saw miles stretched before her. Swimming miles and miles with jagged edges and dirty water all over wasn’t much fun, she inferred.

***

As Shanel fought the centaur, Hannah hid. She was just too afraid to fight anymore. And she knew there was an escape route, but it meant going right past the centaur. And just because her element was fire, she wasn’t fire-proof. Still, she decided to risk it.

Shanel looked around for her friend. “Where’s Hannah?” She muttered, fending off the centaur. Then she saw her, cowering away. She wasn’t the only one. The centaur noticed Hannah. It turned it’s head and breathed in, Hannah unknowingly still slowly getting away.

“Hannah!” She screamed, pointing at the centaur. Hannah turned her head a second too late.

The last sight Hannah saw was the face of the centaur. After that, she was just a pile of ashes and feathers.

“NO!!!” Shanel screamed and sobbed at the same time. Her hair was now blowing everywhere, and her eyes were glaring at the centaur.

“YOU...WILL...PAY!!!” She hissed, and shot a finger to the air.

“METEOR WHIRLWIND!” She screamed. A large tornado swept through the building. It blew things everywhere, and pinned the centaur between two chairs. Then the tornado destroyed the centaur.

***

Monique washed up on the mainland quickly. Just in time, she had turned back to his regular self, which made her happy because the long hair kept getting in her face. On the beach was a girl, about his age, grinding her toe into the sand. When she saw Monique and the condition she was in, she ran over. “Hello? Are you alright?” She asked. Monique nodded and spit out a few seashells.

“I’m Monique.” She rubbed her head. She had a pounding headache. When she changed back, she was wearing a white tee and denim jeans. No shoes, though. She thought to herself, ‘I probably would have looked funny washing up on the beach in ice skates and a pink tutu.’

The girl nodded and brushed some sand off her knees.

“I’m Jessica! Jessica Torres!”

“Where am I?” Monique groaned, spitting out a few more seashells.

The girl cocked her head and a confused look swept across her face. “Don’t you know? You’re in Mexico, you silly person! By the way, why are you swimming in clothes instead of a bathing suit? You ARE silly!”

***

Back at home, Shanel placed Hannah and Monique’s pictures on her dresser. Between them, there was a sign that said, “In Loving Memory”

Shanel kept thinking about things. The whole house reminded her of her friends. Shanel then said firmly to herself, ‘I need to get out of this house for a little while! Tomorrow I’m going to Mexico!’

***

“You mean that I’m in Mexico?” Spencer quizzed Jessica.

“Yep! Don’t you know? You came here!” Jessica scrunched her face in confusion.

Now, Spencer did not want to tell the girl about the whole comet thing, but there was something not so right with her. There was a certain heat in the air. Yet, when she went away for a quick second for a towel, the heat was gone. “Strange . . . ”

“Here! Now you had better get dry and into some regular clothes.” Jessica said with some sarcasm in the word ‘regular’.

“Hey, what’s that thing?” Jessica asked, picking up the pen. Before Spencer could stop her, she grabbed the pen and looked it over.

That was when something happened that only Spencer could see. Jessica’s hair rose like something was blowing it into the air, and it turned red. A red glow surrounded her, and the phoenix that was on Hannah’s pen appeared on her forehead. Spencer knew immediately to tell her everything.

***

“Flight 253, Tokyo to Mexico, now boarding.” A voice said over the airport intercom. Shanel stood and boarded the plane. She looked at her ticket. She was seated between a girl and a guy of her own age, one a frail, pale, boy with black hair, wearing a yellow shirt and grey jeans, the other a girl with a messy blond ponytail, pale skin skin, with a slightly husky figure, wearing a pair of dark green jeans with chains hanging down, and a lime green shirt with a swirly silver pattern on it. She wore thick framed glasses on her nose.

“Hi!” Said the frail one. “My name is Justin and this in my friend, Kristin!”

Kristin ran a hand through her ponytail, undoing it, then tied it up again. “So...what’s your name?” She asked Shanel.

“Shanel. NEVER call me Shanel-Nel.” She smiled at the girls, and then noticed something strange. When she touched the armrest on Justin’s side, she felt an enormous shock of static that made her hand go numb for a second. And when she smelled the area around Kristin, there was a strange pine smell in the air. Yet, not perfume.

“Then, we’ll call you Shanel, not Shanel-Nel?” Justin asked.

Shanel nodded, and suddenly felt very sleepy. She got out a small pillow and took a nap.

“So, where do you live?” Spencer asked Jessica.

“Errr....” The girl grinded the toe of her dirty, scruffy shoe into the pavement. They were now standing in the middle of a sidewalk, people hustling by. “I’m kinda homeless. I took a trip with my family here when I was littler, and I got lost. All I have to my name are my clothes, a few towels, and an umbrella. I just sleep in the woods. The forest area isn’t charted, and the trees make a special canopy to keep rain, snow, and thing like that out and keep me dry.”

Spencer shook his head. “Well, you aren’t homeless anymore. Since I know that you know Japanese, I’m helping you to get papers to cross the border. You can live me and my friends. No one should have to be homeless.”

“Thank you!” Jessica smiled. She looked happier than she had in a long time, and then noticed Spencer sweating. “We had better get somewhere cool, like the travel agency!”

Spencer nodded, and then let her lead the way.

***

“You mean you are my next door neighbors?” Shanel asked, incredibly surprised. “I never had even seen my neighbors!”

The other two were just as amazed.

“Cool!” Kristin said, surprised. She brushed a lock of hair from her shoulder, and blinked her now VERY wide eyes.

“Yeah, what Kristin said!” Justin exclaimed. Then the intercom said,

“We are landing in Mexico now. Please stay seated until the plane has stopped completely.” Said the pilot.

“Anyway, I’m sorry about your friends.” The girls said, sadly looking upon Shanel.

“Thanks.” Shanel said, giving a weak smile, small tears forming in her eyes. She blinked them away, and sniffled. Then, the plane stopped. They had landed.

***

“So, my papers are all done? That was fast!” Jessica smiled, taking her official papers allowing her to live in Japanese.

“No, that was Super-Fast, like this place, Super-Fast Papers!” Said the cheesy cashier. Spencer and Jessica quickly left, wanting to get away from the freezing, smelly, tacky place. Then, they went into the airport.

They went up to a cashier, waiting in line. Then, a girl cried out, “Spencer? Is that you?”

Spencer quickly spun around. Shanel was standing there with two other girls. “Shanel? Is that you?” Both ran up and smiled happily. Then Spencer looked around.

“Where’s Hannah?” He asked. Shanel broke into tears.

“What?” Spencer asked.

“Hannah’s dead! She was burned to ashes!” Shanel choked through tears and sobs.

Spencer rose a hand to his mouth, horrified. “Oh my god...I can’t believe that she’s dead...she was beating me with a frying pan just a few days ago...”

Spencer and Adrianna both looked down sadly, and then began to silently cry.

***

“Well, well.” Said a dark figure. “Here they are. All together. Spencer, Shanel, and some others. No clue who they are, but no matter. If we have enough life power, we can summon our great leader back to life. Now all we need is a good Life Absorber to defeat them.”

The figure, a woman, opened a cat carrier and took out a small, baby, sabertooth tiger. It purred lightly, then let out a yowl as the person dropped it on the ground. Then, the person chanted something strange, and held out a black crystal. The person stabbed the back of the sabertooth with the crystal, killing it. Then, a black wisp came up and covered the extinct feline. The sabertooth came back to life, but has black fur, was HUGE, and had VERY, VERY long, sharp teeth.

“Now, my Absorber, destroy them all!” The woman pointed at the group with a long, bony finger. The Absorber lunged.

***

“I still can’t believe it...” Spencer sighed, looking down.

“You’ll get through it. I know what it is like to lose someone very close.” Jessica put both hands on one of Spencer’s and Shanel’s shoulders. Both nodded sadly. Then they heard a scream.

“TIGER! IT’S A TIGER ON THE LOOSE!” A woman screamed, rushing by. The sound of a man’s voice crackled over the intercom. “Stay clam, everyone! Official police are on their way! They will either kill the tiger in cold blood or shoot it out of a cannon, also killing it in cold blood.”

“They aren’t coming.” Jessica shook her head. “I went on a field trip to a police station when I was little. They put on a big show of hard work, but when I snuck away to another room, I heard a report of a bank robbery, and all the police did was sit around eating donuts. The one officer they sent out couldn’t have been younger than 80 years old.”

Sure enough, the tiger stormed through the halls of the airport with an old man’s arm hanging out of it’s mouth. Shanel took Spencer aside.

“We can’t morph! They’ll find out our identities!” Shanel whispered nervously.

“I told Jessica. I think she is one of us.” Spencer said. Shanel grinded her teeth angrily.

“YOU IDIOT! WHAT IF SHE IS A SPY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WANT US DEAD?” Shanel yelled, whacking him.

“Shanel, she isn’t. I KNOW IT!” Spencer said quietly. All of the sudden, the Absorber rammed Spencer and Shanel full force, knocking them out.

“Spencer! Shanel!” Jessica yelled.

The Absorber turned and snarled at Kristin, Justin, and Jessica. It charged towards the three. They screamed, and awaited unconsciousness.

Then, Hannah’s pen appeared in front of Jessica, shimmering. Jessica grabbed it, and she felt fiery instinct run throughout her body. She raised the pen in the air and shouted out, “FIRE MORPH!”

Her clothes became an orange t-shirt and a jet-black skirt. Her long hair became completely scarlet, with no black left at all. Her shoes became orange boots, with fancy red laces, and red kneesocks. From her back, were two large wings, with bold red, yellow, and orange feathers. They were phoenix wings, and they beat back and forth, as if trying to beat out a fire in mid air. Her outfit was almost exactly like Hannah’s was, but now with a girly touch.

“Huh?” She looked at her new outfit. Then she smiled. “Quite spiffy, if I do say so myself, which I do!”

“Now! Yell out, Meteor Flare!” Spencer, who had regained consciousness, yelled. Jessica nodded.

“METEOR FLARE!”

The fire spewed at the Absorber, badly scorching it’s fur.

“Now! Do your morph thingy!” Jessica yelled, obviously confused.

“Right!” Spencer and Shanel said at the same time.

“WATER MORPH!”

“WIND MORPH!”

Both of them morphed, and attacked.

“METEOR SPRAY!”

“METEOR WHIRLWIND!”

The attacks whipped the Absorber against a wall, and Jessica attacked again, destroying the Absorber.

“Wow! Cool!” Jessica looked at her new clothes. She then turned to Justin and Kristin, who’s eyes were wide in shock.

“Y-y-you...” Kristin stammered.

“H-h-how...” Justin sputtered.

Both of them fainted, slumping. They should be taken to a hotel. Then the luggage carousel exploded. A tag flew through the air and landed on Vicki. It read, “Kristin Walker and Justin Le’s Luggage” Their luggage was obviously destroyed. Spencer, Shanel, and Jessica decided to go back to America. Justin was easily carried by Cassie and Kristin was carried by Shanel and Spencer, who both had a hard time carrying so much weight. They were lucky that Tokyo wasn’t TOO far away.

***

“You want ME to be Queen of Earth? Sounds fun...” Kristin murmured in her sleep. She then bolted awake on the floor, next to a sound asleep Jessie. In front of them was a note that said,

“Dear Kristin and Justin,

What happened in the Airport was NOT a dream!

Sincerely, Jessica, Spencer, and Shanel.”

Kristin’s eyes widened. It wasn’t a dream? Not a dream? But how? That was WAY too unreal. Kristin fainted again, and ended up sleeping for the rest of the day, which is what she and Justin usually did anyways, the lazy bums.

The morphing and the attacks make me think of Sailor Moon. o_o

When I wrote it, Sailor Moon was on.
