Welcome to Celadon City, where trees and flowers are as abundant as ugly people! Under the warm sunshine and the fragrant smell of the soft wind, a battle is about to begin!

mlugia walks into the ring, confident to take on the first challenger of the Gym since he took over!

He pulls out one of his balls, and carass it gently.

"This will be a three-on-three battle, with RSE rules, Stadium terrain! No items will be allowed on either side!"

"Let's get it on!" He shouts as he threw a fastball at the challenger's face!

Jumpluff! Go!

Jumpluff! Use your encore attack!

The powerful prehistoric flying Pokemon has simply created a Substitute of him self to avoid any direct damage to him self, although the Substitute did take some of Aerodactyl's hit points. Then Jumpluff, guided by Mana who used his head, has Encored Aerodactyl's Substitute, hoping to make Aerodactyl lose hit points by him self.

Jumpluff 100%
Aerodactyl 75% [Encore 1]
Substitute 25%

PS. I am reffing this just because I liked how Mana started it, I am still retired by the way.

SideStep

Aerodactyl is sent, with Jumpluff to counter. A 359 Speed Aerodactyl outruns 319 Speed Jumpluff and uses Substitute.

Aerodactyl 75% SUB: 100%

Jumpluff cheerfully Encores an Aerodactyl.

Aerodactyl: 75% SUB: 100% (ENC 1)

Moves.

EDIT: ..crap.

You can have it Raik, I am a retired referee, just wanted to have fun. I am not so interested in reffing.

Raik is now your referee guys ^_^

"Beautifully done, Jumpy!" mlugia shouted. "How about a MEGA DRAIN!" He commanded as he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. The smell of victory was in the air, but who was it for?

ball
02-16-2006, 03:00 PM
I knew that Aerodactyl would only sub, so, I didnt said anything. BUt I also knew that two of his attacks isnt enough to destroy my sub, and that I am safe, and I wont loose hp while the sub is up. Anywhays, try a wing attack, I said.

"Hey! I'm pretty sure you can't choose any moves under encore except the encored one!" mlugia yelled from the other side of the arena.

ball
02-16-2006, 03:05 PM
'' Yeah, but you can try, '' Ball replied.

mlugia
02-16-2006, 03:06 PM
mlugia shrugged. "I'm hungry," he proclaimed before opening up a can of ultra-grow plant poke-food and pigging out.

SideStep

Aerodactyl forced to use Substitute again due to Encore. Fails because there is already a Substitute up.

Aerodactyl: 75% Sub: 100% (ENC 2)

Mega Drain hits Aerodactyl's substitute.

Aerodactyl: 75% Sub: 55% (ENC 2)

Moves.

ball

'' Since Im still under encore, I wont say my move, '' Ball shouted over the arena, '' but only because you say so. ''

Tamer San
02-16-2006, 03:18 PM
Actually when you are encored you do say your move in case the encore ended this turn :\

Actually when you are encored you do say your move in case the encore ended this turn :\
No. If it ended, it would have been stated at the end of last turn. I don't think you can even pick another move.

ball
02-16-2006, 03:20 PM
No, tamer, mlugia is right, the ref says that encore ended at the end of the turn. Anywhays, Im going in 3 mins, so... yeah, IL be back in 3 hours

mlugia
02-16-2006, 03:22 PM
Actually when you are encored you do say your move in case the encore ended this turn :\
Really? iirc you can only choose the encored move... I should go play my GBA to verify this XD

"Mega Drain again!" mlugia commanded, confidence waivering...

SideStep
02-16-2006, 03:22 PM
Actually, Encore ends at the end of the turn so you would only be able to choose a move the turn after your Encore ended.

mlugia
02-16-2006, 03:39 PM
True, true. Well, we both made our moves :p

SideStep
02-16-2006, 04:05 PM
Encore carries on and an unwilling Aerodactyl tries to make a Substitute of itself, unsucessful yet again. A delighted Jumpluff irritates the flying rock bird thing with another Mega Drain.

Aerodactyl: 75% Sub: 10% (ENC 3)

Moves.

mlugia
02-16-2006, 04:13 PM
I still haven't killed the sub yet? Damn, my calc said 14% :(

"Oh well, uh... Mega Drain again!" mlugia yells as he does a little jig.

ball
02-16-2006, 06:50 PM
'' There is no nead for my move, but if encore stops, then my startetegy would work, '' said Ball, '' continue the encored sub. ''

SideStep
02-17-2006, 02:03 PM
A miserable Aerodactyl cries to itself as it performs another failed Substitute. A spastic Jumpluff destroys Aerodactyl's Substitute. Encore ends.

Aerodactyl: 75%
Jumpluff: 100%

ball
02-17-2006, 02:22 PM
'' Hm... '' Says ball, '' I could sub, but I would get encored again. I know, use Taunt, to make yourself safe. ''

mlugia
02-17-2006, 02:28 PM
"Devious indeed!" mlugia muttered to himself. "I suppose I have no choice but to switch to LUDICOLO!"

He takes out a pokeball and chucks it onto the field. "Ludicolo! Go!" (Swift swim)

SideStep
02-17-2006, 02:33 PM
Jumpluff gets recalled for being hyperactive and a Ludicolo emerges in place, showing off its trademark Mexican dance. Aerodactyl gets all cocky and talks in Pokemon language, Taunting an impulsive Mexican. Ludicolo will now only use attack moves.

Aerodactyl: 75%
Ludicolo: 100% (TAUNT)

mlugia
02-17-2006, 02:35 PM
"Well, nothing to do but attack! Lets try a FAKEOUT!" mlugia commanded, as the Mexican did its dance.

ball
02-17-2006, 02:45 PM
'' hm... ''said Ball, '' Prepare to face Poli. '' Ball fired a red beam from his Pokeball sucking Aerodactyl inside, then he threw another Pokeball in the air, and the tadpole, Poliwrtath come out of it. (poli has watter absorb btw)

SideStep
02-17-2006, 02:55 PM
Aerodactyl flies through the ceiling to avoid being recalled but is recalled by the Pokeball's heat-seeking light rays anyway. A blue-white-spiraly-ish thing comes out, throwing its right fist in the air in a traditional Japanese "Hurray!" pose. It gets interrupted by the sly Mexican, Ludicolo, as the latter Fakes Out(Has no idea how to describe a Fake Out).

Poliwrath: 93%

Moves.

mlugia
02-17-2006, 03:08 PM
"Ludicolo! We have the type advantage! Use the patented GYM tm GIGA DRAIN!" mlugia instructed, brimming with confidence.

ball
02-17-2006, 03:11 PM
'' Use the beging of the end, use hypnosis, '' Ball said with even more confidence.

SideStep
02-17-2006, 03:21 PM
Hypnosis flies silently past Ludicolo, missing it barely. Giga Drain hits, 2x S/E

Poliwrath: 63.3%

'' Lets try another begining of the end, '' Ball say I lttle bit quieter, '' Poli, use hypnosis

mlugia

"Time to force ball's hand! Give me an UPROAR!"

SideStep
02-17-2006, 03:47 PM
Uproar hits.

Poliwrath: 54.8%

Hypnosis fails because Uproar forces Ludicolo to stay awake.

mlugia
02-17-2006, 03:48 PM
"Success!" mlugia cheered. "Now for the next part of my strategy! I guess we uproar some more! At least until it ends..."

ball
02-17-2006, 03:50 PM
Hm, mana, I dont know how you do it, but your move has changed without editing... This is the 2nd time now...

'' Anywhays, you dug your own grave, now you must uproar many times, not changing your move, '' said ball, '' Subsitute.

ball
02-17-2006, 04:00 PM
Hm, it doesent say it now, but seriously, mana, stop changing your moves after I post mine, its cheating... I saw it 2 times. 1 was changing hydro pump in to fake out, and the 2nd was changing mega drain in to uproar.

EDIT: oh, you posted first, Anywhays, you cant do that, when you have seaned my move... anywhays, I will use amnesia

SideStep
02-17-2006, 04:03 PM

mlugia
02-17-2006, 04:04 PM
Well, I was waiting for you to post first because it's supposed to be alternate, and thus on the turns you'd post first I'd strategize depending on what your attack is, and the Uproar one, I got fed up of waiting, and we ended up same-time-posting >_>

Edit: "Uproar! end already!" mlugia pleads...

ball
02-17-2006, 04:07 PM
whell, mana, first I saw the giga drain, but anywhays, sorry for not looking at that time, I was battling... I think. Amnesia again.

THis battle was happening on aim. Raik did many imporitant mistakes. THough, I would have already lost if it werents some of them, so I forfeited.
