Post all of the latest anime news here. ^_^

On April 10th, Bandai Entertainment has announced the release of 'Please Twins!' ('Onegai Twins!') which is a sequel to 'Please Teacher!' I have seen it (Please Twins) myself already, and it is now one of my favorite animes. Many people write some pretty bad revives about it, but it is still a very cute and romantic comedy. I wouldn't recommend it for people under the age of 17, but I'm 15 and I watched it. The fact that it has nudity and a bathing/showering scene in almost every episode offends some people. The art style became just a little worser after 'Please Teacher' but it didn't bother me at all. It probably had the best anime art style that I have ever seen. ^^

What is it about? An orphan, Maiku Kamishiro, grows up with no memories of his past, only left with a childhood picture of him and a girl who he believes to be his long lost twin. Right after he moves to the house that he saw in that picture, two girls with the same eye color as his, Karen Onodera and Miina Miyafuji come and both claim to be his sisters. Worst of all, both girls posses the same picture. There are three people, but only two people in the photo. Who is the real sister and who is the stranger?

On last thing.

On May 19th a new 'Trigun Maximum' manga comes out. It's a sequel to the first Trigun manga and it shows more about Vash's past. I'm still not sure about the details and what it is about, but I bet it will be great. ^^

Why do ppl get offended by nudity!? If they don't like it then they shouldn't watch it, it's as easy as that.

I've advertised this everywhere else and i think i'll advertise it here now:

Most people tend to associate nudity with pornography. That is the main reason why people are offended by such content. Although the line between artistic nudity (which is acceptable) and pornography is thin, it's there. From what I've heard, the twins borderline this.

I don't think I care whether an anime has nudity in it as long as the scenes aren't obscene (like rape scenes), and there are great anime that has nudity, and it doesn't mean too much in the overall product of the anime. It's when things get crazy that's when I draw the line.

So yeah. I'm allowing reviews on "hentai-ish" anime this current moment. If any other mods object to this, well soemthing will be done.

Hm... There is a new anime in Japan. ^_^ At least I think so... well it's so new, that only four funsubbed episodes came out so far. The anime is called Midori no Hibi. ^_^

I have seen the four episodes and I read some of the manga already. It's very cute, yet it has plenty of action and fighting scenes. And the fighting scenes are really awesome too.

Okay, well the anime is about a guy named... Samura... I think. Well he is a very strong high school student who always gets into fights, but his problem is that he can't find a girlfriend because everyone is scared of him. He was rejected by 20 girls in his life, and all of them made excuses like "I already like someone..."

Well, one day, he wakes up... and finds a girl instead of his right fist. o__o That's when the story begins and that's basically what the anime is all about. A guy with a girl instead of a hand.

There are a lot of funny situations in Midori no Hibi. ^_^ Like... when he has to use only his left hand to go to the bathroom since his right hand is... a girl!

By the way, yes, once again, if you don't like nudity, don't watch it. They had it in every episode so far...

Ah, not too many news...

Tokyopop, the publisher of Love Hina, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon and many other mangas and animes, wants the fans to choose which anime series they should license next.

The link above is where you vote. You can choose any unlicensed anime that you like.

You have to submit your survey by May 31st, 2004. ^_^

Well, Full Metal Alchemist has been licensed by Funimation...

And I'm not saying that I don't like Funimation. They have Fruits Basket... ^_^ But they are still famous for DBZ... -.-

Now FMA will always remind me of Dragon Ball Z... and I dislike DBZ.... >_>

Oh well... It's going to take almost one year for the DVDs to come out. =p Darn... I should have finished watching the fansubs while I had time... >_>

Okay. New anime that I know of:

Fall anime still going on:
School Rumble (hilarious comedy featuring Tenma and the rest of the gang! And you think it's gonna be a fighting series. The subbers are doing a great job, only 3 - 6 eps behind from the actual series. :P)

Mai Hime/My Hime (From what I know of, Mai Hime's second arc/season is going on right after the first season which aired on fall this year and ended just last week. Hugely popular series, and Static Sub is almost 100% on schedule.)

Gakuen Alice (Hilarious, but the subbers are VERY slow on the series. I'm pretty sure they're shorthanded right now or something.)

Gundam Seed Destiny (Continuing from the fall season right into this year's season 2. NEW OPENING/ENDING THEME! I'm pretty sure the subbers are exactly 1 episode behind from the japanese airings, very good.)

Samurai Champloo (Last year's spring/summer series is making a comeback. Looking forward to this series here. From what I know, the subbers have been 1-2 episodes behin mostly. Since the first ep was shown last week, I'd be expecting one this week. :P)

Girls Bravo season 2 (Not for the weak at heart, and ppl are calling me pervert after I watched the series, I think? Stupendous fogging effects makes this ecchi series not-so-ecchi...instead it's more humour...? Likely Lunar Anime's doing it again. Not sure on their speeds tho.)

That's about all I watch right now. I'll keep checking on what's around and such.

It is unofficial: School Rumble is now licensed. So ppl who wanted to see what would happen would have to....wait approximately 2 years for them...or not. It depends if the rumour is true or not. But an update on the new series!

Starship Operators (currently 2 eps translated):
It's dialogue heavy and it's looking at least decent. We'll see how this goes.

Ultimate Girl (2 eps translated):
It's ecchi! Bad series, but hentai ultraman fans will eat this one up. An interesting note is that EPISODE 2 WASN'T EVEN COMPLETE WHEN THEY AIRED IT! The transformation sequences aren't even complete. O_O Crap anime to be sure. lol

Jinki:Extend (1 ep):
It's another mecha series and after the first epit's looking alright. It's nice to know that they didn't have that much fan service even though there are MANY chances. kudos to them for that one.

Mahoraba (1 ep):
Haven't seen it, it's just sitting there in my hard disk right now.
